I went to the restaurant this Friday. What a wonderful discovery. A magical place full of curiosities, with an adorable couple who welcome us like family. The owner, Ali, has created a magnificent and relaxing water feature on the bar. He told us that they are Hosting concerts, events, and birthday parties. A lively place where I will return with great pleasure.

Everything was delicious, the atmosphere was wonderful and cozy. The staff was fantastic.

We were there in a larger group. My drink only arrived after two reminders, and my meal was missing a side dish. We couldn't order more drinks because we were simply ignored after the first few complaints (which is why I was never able to point out the missing side dish—I had to get up and find the staff to do so). In the end, it almost came to a physical altercation because our companion was pelted with a fork. Criticism must be possible, and as a restaurant owner, you should also be able to accept criticism. It's also not a crime for two people in a group of ten to own a gourmet block. A sincere "apology" would have made a lot of things right. In the end, I had to pay full price for my meal without a side dish. I was never even offered a replacement. Others in the group were served cold rice and raw meat. We were very disappointed. What a shame.

The service was very poor; we waited two hours for the food. Some of it was cold and of poor quality. Criticism was met with insults. The price-performance ratio is disproportionate, the food selection is meager, and the side dishes are always the same, rather cold and tasteless. The evening was not a positive experience.

A group of 10 people had booked in advance. "No problem" was the response on the phone. On site, the drinks were already being served. This continued throughout the evening. It took almost two hours for everyone to get their food. The chicken and rice were cold and dry, and the fish was missing all the side dishes. When questioned, it was claimed that I, as the tour guide, had waved this through as "okay." Not the first lie of the evening. I tried several times to reach a consensus but was ultimately thrown out. No understanding whatsoever, no concessions, or price reductions for items not delivered. Instead, the staff were also forced to lie. The food was good, but that became a minor issue given the extremely unprofessional demeanor. If you're looking to be massively insulted for legitimate criticism of a service provider, this is the place for you; everyone else is better off looking for an alternative.

I celebrated my wedding. It was ok at first, then I paid the remaining amount around 7 p.m. The owner was rude to my guests. He turned the music off, it was too loud. It was 7 p.m. I got upset. He was asked to please turn on the button for the music. In the end he chased my guests away and everyone left at 8 p.m. He could have waited 2-3 hours, but not like that. In my experience, people only pay the remaining amount when it's over, not beforehand. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. A stingy, nasty person with no consideration.

A hidden gem near Hermannplatz. This place has a truly special atmosphere. Warm, welcoming, and full of charm. The service was incredibly kind, making us feel right at home. It’s not a spot for those in a rush, but perfect for a slow, enjoyable evening with friends. The outdoor area feels magical, while the cozy interior adds to the character of the place. We had the warm and cold starter plate and the vine leaves, easily the best I’ve had in Berlin in six years. Delicious food, lovely vibe. Highly recommended.

This little oasis with a beer garden is located very close to the busy Hermannplatz square! You can really enjoy yourself here. The interior is definitely worth a visit and very cozy! The prices are reasonable and the service is friendly—what more could you want? Recommended

Unweit des umtosten Hermannplatz in Berlin findet man diese kleine Oase, mit einem gemütlichen Biergarten und leckeren orientlischen Gerichten. Auch der Innenraum von Siralti ist sehr gemütlich und sehenswert. Die Preise sind gut und die Bedienung freundlich! Ein Tipp!

A magical ambiance blinds you to completely overpriced and terrible food: a recommended museum, but a disappointment as a restaurant! The friendly-looking older hosts lost interest in us for over an hour after we ordered, even though the place was empty. Everything from bread to meat (Adana kebab, biftek) tasted strangely stale and sour (there are hundreds of better snack bars in the area, at reasonable prices). I even had to chase the host to pay.

What an eclectic hidden gem! Located just off Hermannplatz, you dive into the “old world” at this Eckkneipe (corner pub) turned Turkish restaurant. The owner and his wife are so sweet and will gladly tour you around and tell you the history. They offer catering for private parties in their large dining room that can be closed off from the other areas with a gorgeous stained glass door, buffet breakfast, as some fun Turkish and Greek wines. In the spring and summer they also have a lovely outdoor terrace! Just know: This isn’t your spot if you want a quick meal - you come here to linger and chat and enjoy some hours. But it is worth it for the atmosphere and the delicious food! We came as a large group and ordered an appetizer for the table, entrees and drinks and only paid 25/30€ per person. Now that I’ve been I’ll definitely be going back!

Everything is just great! When you enter the restaurant you are already busy because there is a lot to look at. Different furniture, from every era, but that's exactly what gives the whole thing a really great ambience. The menu is clearly laid out and filled with Turkish specialties. But you don't need more choice. The boss is super friendly. All in all is super tasty and beautiful. There is also a beer garden outside, which is a nice place to spend some time when summer is here. We'll definitely be back.

The positive first: the interior is really worth seeing and somehow cozy, which is why we wanted to eat here - blinded by the reviews. I'm an easy customer to please, but I didn't experience that yesterday despite the friendly older couple running the place: we asked at 6:30 p.m. whether it was open at all because the lights weren't on. We were assured that everything had been in operation for a long time: there were a few guests sitting on the outside terrace. We sat down because it was cool and ordered after a few minutes. Then nothing happened for 1 hour. Then it smelled at least a little like grilled meat. Another 15 minutes and the experience came. The food Adana and Köfte were not very carefully prepared which was the least of the problems. Rice was cold, grilled tomato and pepperoni lukewarm and Adana and kofta warm but the grill must be 2.5 km away if the meat arrived at the table so cold. I have never experienced the substance and taste of the kört - not even with finished products - so badly: almost cold, solid, strange taste, unseasoned. I had to wonder if the meat had a bite, but I prayed inside and almost ate it (in my upbringing, throwing food away is still the ultimate ratio) after all, we were starving by now and only 15 minutes until the concert at Huxleys. I don't know how the 4.8 rating comes about, but please dear operators: it's not difficult to serve warm, well-seasoned food in an attractive way!!! Insta is full of suggestions: use them! For me it was my worst experience in years!

Very loving innkeeper, great restaurant and great terrace! We had a fabulous meal (the couscous is great). We're already looking forward to our next visit! Not a real vegetarian menu, but he whipped up a great plate upon request!

So we were invited to our 60th birthday with around 50 guests. It was not prepared for the arriving reserved guests. Really all guests were dissatisfied and disappointed with the service and food they ordered. I ordered beef steak with a side dish. Everyone who ordered beef steak with a side dish was dissatisfied because the reservation was cold. Some people ordered Sardinia in a pan, even it was served cold. In everything except ambience, I would avoid this restaurant.

It's a very bad place, we ordered, we waited at the table for 1 hour, it didn't arrive, and when we got up, the owner spoke disrespectfully.

Highly recommended! The ambience is great and the interior design is made with great attention to detail. The owner is very warm and takes time to answer questions. There are meat and fish dishes but there is also something for vegetarians - the vegetarian starter platter to share is highly recommended. We'll definitely be back!

We fortified ourselves here before the concert at Huxleys… Was surprised by the excellent food! Rump steak on point, kofta very seasoned and delicious salad. The host was super nice, the decor was very cool. Absolutely recommended!

The dishes are prepared with the greatest care and are a true feast for the senses. Every bite is a taste explosion that shows that the cooking here is done with passion and skill. That absolutely thrilled me. The entire experience is rounded off by attentive and warm service, making your stay perfect. If you are looking for a little break from everyday life, appreciate an extraordinary ambience and want to enjoy excellent food, this is the right place for you. This restaurant is a place you'll want to return to again and again - a real gem!

Restaurant with a nice atmosphere, the food was freshly prepared and the fish tasted very good. As expected, on a Monday at 4:30 p.m. there were hardly any guests present. We had a great chat with the nice boss and learned a lot.

The restaurant is one of the most magical places we have ever eaten at. The flair and furnishings take you to another time, to a wonderland, so to speak. The food is great and the owner is a very warm person. We love coming here to eat and unwind. You can only find something like this in Berlin and only in hidden corners :)

Dealing with guests in such an overwhelming way is almost admirable. With about 20 people and a reservation, we went in hungry and unfortunately left the restaurant the same way. Unfortunately the host was rude and overwhelmed. The drinks were forgotten to bring, and unfortunately the food too. After almost 2 hours of waiting and staggered food delivery (the first ones were already finished, the others didn't even begin to have their food on the table). When asked, the waiting time was normal with so many guests. The prices are also very excessive. In short, once and never again!

Not recommended for a group of 20 people! The meal takes almost 1.5 hours. Unfriendly staff and the bill has to be recalculated. The women's toilets cannot be locked. There's no way we're going there again.

We were there with 20 people and unfortunately they were completely overwhelmed. We waited a very long time for the food and were then served four meals each every 10-15 minutes. These were cold and the last ones got their food after 2 hours. The drinks were quicker, unfortunately a mocha wasn't served until 2 hours later after repeated requests. There are no photos because our stomachs were already in our knees.🤷🏻‍♂️

The three of us (3 old friends) went for a beer in the Old World late at night after a movie a few days ago. In the garden it was as quiet as in the countryside, even though Hermannplatz is nearby. We were treated extremely friendly and the owner himself, an older Turkish gentleman, even showed us around his really charming, original restaurant at the end and explained to us the renovation work that had been completed. Very pleasant place with many antique features inside and outside. The owner is super nice, the prices are more than fair and the atmosphere is unique! Lots of space outside under shady trees and stylishly furnished inside, even in the toilet.

Das Restaurant wurde für eine Feier im Voraus gebucht und bezahlt, leider!. So ein schlechten Service haben wir noch nie erlebt und das Essen war die reinste Katastrophe. Der Inhaber war total unfreundlich, die Kellner völlig inkompetent. Bestellungen wurden nicht aufgeschrieben und somit auch oft vergessen, sodass man selber schon fast zur Küche reinlaufen musste, um sich sein Getränk/Essen zu holen. Das Essen kam insgesamt mehr als eine Stunde als eigentlich vereinbart zu spät. Die Hauptspeise war grauenhaft, sodass sie jeder zweite Gast nicht essen konnte. Die Mitarbeiter waren völlig überfordert, schienen sich aber auch überhaupt nicht zu bemühen. Insgesamt war es die schlechteste Erfahrung in einem Restaurant überhaupt!

Good well maintained drinks good conditions

The reason for the visit was a planned joint celebration. After waiting for over 15 minutes, there were still no drinks requested. Drinks were only taken upon request and brought to the table after a certain waiting period. For our table there was only a mixed starter plate (8 adults and 2 children), other tables received 2 plates. The bread came to the plate after a 10-15 minute wait (on request from the guests). When they asked for a second record, it didn't come. After about an hour, the main courses were asked for and distributed across the board without asking the hosts. Some people at the table received their main course quite quickly, while others had to wait 20-30 minutes. The food was very carelessly prepared and at best lukewarm. The vegetarian version was two bland green peppers filled with tasteless rice and two large scoops of yogurt. Not more!. In addition, plates were temporarily parked on the guests' chairs because the service was overwhelmed to bring the right food to the tables. Old plates and empty glasses were consistently not cleared away. Only when asked were two plates taken away. The cutlery for the main course was also missing and was only brought when asked. Drinks were still only taken at the insistence of the guests. The service and the manager of the house were extremely unfriendly and were noticeably in a bad mood. There were stroppy answers and a grim expression on every question. In my opinion it's a shame to ask for money for this. Once and never again. It's amazing that this store can exist with such performance. Every canteen does this better.

The restaurant was booked and paid for in advance for a celebration, unfortunately!. We have never experienced such bad service and the food was a complete disaster. The owner was totally unfriendly and the waiters were completely incompetent. Orders were not written down and were therefore often forgotten, so that you almost had to run to the kitchen to get your drink/food. The food came more than an hour late than originally agreed. The main course was terrible, so that every other guest couldn't eat it. The employees were completely overwhelmed, but didn't seem to be trying at all. Overall it was the worst restaurant experience ever!

The place is a total rip off. Food was mediocre and does not cost what they charge. Dishes were late and they tried to replace what we asked with more expensive dish.

We were in the restaurant very late (around 11:30 p.m.) and specifically asked if we could still get warm food. That would be answered in the affirmative and we sat down. Unfortunately, after a quarter of an hour it seemed as if we had been forgotten (unless there were two tables still occupied). When asked, a motivated but apparently inexperienced employee came and took our order - in the meantime we had to organize a menu from the neighboring table. We ordered kofta and received food that was carelessly prepared and at most lukewarm. The rice and the kofta tasted okay. The vegetable "side dish" (grilled vegetables) was unseasoned and completely cold. What should be positively mentioned, however, is the free(!) flatbread, which was extremely tasty. A live musical trio played Turkish music during our meal. Unfortunately, this was very loud at times. Unfortunately, this fact greatly spoiled the otherwise great ambience.

It's like sitting in a Turkish living room. Very cozy and special.The owner is very nice and attentive. We felt at home and warmly welcomed. The food is delicious and cheap. The draft beer is wonderful. There are small music concerts on Fridays and Saturdays. Always different with a lot of atmosphere, puts you in a really good mood. Absolutely recommended.

Wir haben Linsensuppe und eine sehr leckere Vorspeisenplatte gegessen! Der Besitzer war sehr freundlich und hat uns sogar eine Suppe geschenkt. Das Restaurant ist mit vielen alten Möbeln und Instrumenten bestückt und dadurch charmevoll und sehr interessant. Ein schöner Kontrast zu den vielen teuren und einheitlich aussehenden Restaurants in der Gegend.

I was there for the first time during a concert, Scarab. I was very impressed by the nice atmosphere, the many different people, the great service and delicious food. I also really liked the furnishings. Cozy. Definitely I'll go there again

Very cozy and welcoming restaurant! The lentil soup was excellent and the mixed starter plate was fresh and prepared with love. The prices are unbeatably cheap. The owner was very accommodating and you could get enough of the interior design alone, with a lot of attention to detail! Definitely worth a visit!

Ein Schrottplatz voller Gerümpel, der für die Anwohner eine optische Zumutung ist! Noch schlimmer ist, dass der Besitzer Herr Siralti nahezu tägliche Extrem Lärmintensive Schweißarbeiten und andere Bauarbeiten dort ausführt ohne die geringste Rücksichtnahme auf die dort lebenden Anwohner! In jeder Hinsicht eine Zumutung!!!

War lange Zeit eine meiner favorisierten Lokalitäten. Hier ging es in den 80ern und 90ern idyllisch und mit Life-Musik zu, später wurde es dann mehr zu einem Esslokal/Restaurant, weil sich Anwohner wegen der Musik beschwerten. Es blieb aber immer gemütlich und ansprechend. Ich war nun jedoch schon einige Jahre nicht mehr dort - zuletzt um 2010 - und nehme mit Besorgnis zur Kenntnis, daß Andere inzwischen recht negative Rezensionen abgeben. Bei meinem letzten Besuch befand sich die Gaststätte in schwedischen (?) Händen. Meine "Sternebewertung" bezieht sich also auch auf lange zurückliegende Erfahrungen. Im "heutigen Berlin" wurden bereits sehr viele schöne Gaststätten kaputtregiert, wie z. B. auch die hier damals nur wenige Meter entfernte "Osterinsel", die ebenfalls ein Anziehungspunkt war! Die gibt es schon länger nicht mehr gibt. Früher hieß die Staße ja auch mal "Wissmannstraße", was natürlich unter Bezugnahme auf die "kaiserlich deutsche Kolonialzeit" nicht so bleiben durfte! Es gibt ja sonst nichts zu tun! Nebenbei bemerkt: in Hamburg gibt es sogar immernoch ein Denkmal für Hermann von Wissmann. ( In der dortigen Wißmannstrasse.)

Es handelt sich um einen privaten Schrottplatz, auf dem jahrelang und monatelang tagtäglich Lärmintensive Bauarbeiten durch den Besitzer durchgeführt werden ohne Rücksicht auf die Anwohner!

Sehr gemütlich und familiär! Toller Besitzer, der seinen Laden kunstvoll und eigenständig gestaltet. Die vegetarische Platte war überragend!!! Schade, dass sie hier nicht mehr Kunden haben, ich würde es ihnen gönnen.

Argh, ich bin hin und her gerissen. Ich finde den Biergarten total schön und unaufgeregt / gemütlich und den Betreiber klasse und sehr engagiert. Eigentlich ein Laden, den ich volle Kanne unterstützen möchte. Der veg. Vorspeisenteller ist der Hit, ABER, ein und eine Viertelstunde darauf zu warten, das geht leider gar nicht!! Erst recht nicht, wenn man super hungrig dort ankommt gegen kurz vor 22 Uhr 😭 Deshalb ein Stern Abzug, sonst gäbe es fünf.

Gute Atmosphäre, toller Garten mit viel Platz und sehr freundliche Gastgeber. Außerdem sehen die innere Räume schön aus und das Essen schmeckt gut! Sehr empfehlenswert

Sehr gemütlicher Biergarten. Tolle Atmosphäre. Gemischter vegetarischer Vorspeisenteller war großartig. Bier vom Fass und Weißwein lecker. Alles vom älteren Besitzer allein betrieben. Sehr liebevoll. Etwas Zeit sollte man sich mitnehmen, aber ist super. Nicht so sehr voll wie andere Biergärten in der Nähe. EM Fußball wurde auch gezeigt. Ich empfehle es weiter. Solch Läden sollten unterstützt werden.

bestes Hummus in Berlin. Gastgegeber ist sehr freundlich und es hat eine familiäre stimmung auch sehr schön eingerichtet das man sich gleich wohl fühlt =) kommen nochmal zum musik abend.

Alles war lecker mann fühlt sich in anderer Zeit. Ich kann nur weiterempfehlen. P.S : wir waren mit einer Gutschein dort.

Waren hier durch Groupon und es war fabelhaft. Wir erwarteten ein Buffet wurden jedoch darauf hingewiesen, dass wegen Corona kein Buffet stattfinden wird. Dennoch waren die Gerichte die wir bekamen (3 gänge) mehr als genug. Die Frau kann kaum türkisch, ist jedoch seeeehr angagiert. Ich würde hier wieder essen.
