Very small shop, but super tasty pizza with plenty of toppings. The girls who were running the store when we were there were really busy, but were very nice and quickly processed one order after the other.

Hansl's Pizzeria in Bayreuth used to be a safe bet for good pizza, but that seems to have changed. The two pizzas I ordered to take away were a bitter disappointment. The dough was dry and the topping no longer had the taste that I used to remember. Overall, the quality has dropped significantly. It seems as if the focus on freshness and taste has been lost here. Under these circumstances, a visit is no longer worth it. It's a shame, because that was different.

Just bad pizza. Canned side dishes, little tomato sauce and little mozzarella. Dough doesn't taste good either. The service was snippy when we criticized it.

Wir waren sehr enttäuscht. Es wird massiv an den Zutaten gespart: Champignons und Paprika waren Konserven, frische Champignons gab es nur gegen Aufpreis, was angesichts des Preises inakzeptabel ist. Mozzarella nur in hauchdünnen Spuren. Als wir das bemängelten, hieß es lapidar, das sei die Standardmenge und wer mehr wolle, müsse das bei der Bestellung sagen und einen weiteren Aufpreis zahlen. Die Thunfischpizza war trocken, zumal auch am Sugo gespart wurde. Die tollen Bewertungen im Netz können wir nicht nachvollziehen.

Miserable pizza: canned mushrooms and peppers, fresh mushrooms only for an additional charge, and that at 14 EUR! Tiny blobs of mozzarella, normal quantity here too, only for an extra charge. Not recommended.

Super tasty pizza, but a bit cramped inside.

looks NOTHING like photos. Cheese was gummy and crust was bah. Menu said basil, it was powdered. Cash only. Tiny place, busy. Won't return. Waitress was excellent, handled a lot of customers at once.

We spontaneously ate here while passing through. The pizza didn't really suit our taste, the base is very thin, almost like a tarte flambée and the pizza wasn't very tasty either. The service was very friendly. I wouldn't eat there again.

The only small point of criticism: there aren't a lot of seats and consist of beer benches and tables. Otherwise a small but nice, inconspicuous pizzeria. Mega tasty, large and still really affordable by today's standards. Can be booked individually for a small additional charge.

Haben dieser Tage mehrere Pizzen bestellt (überraschender Besuch), anhand eines 2 Jahre alten Bestellscheins (Stempelkarte) und mussten zu unserer Verblüffung eine fast 30prozentige Preissteigerung zu den Preisen auf der Stempelkarte feststellen, bei deutlicher Abnahme der Qualität.

Super delicious pizza that you can put together according to your own wishes. Always tastes great and invites you to try out new combinations! You can especially sit outside. Space for strollers etc. is little inside, but no problem outside. Great service and fair prices.

Ham onion pizza is really the best choice here! Best pizzeria in Bayreuth. Extremely thin and crispy dough thanks to a real wood-fired oven. The Italian salad with yogurt dressing also tastes very good.

The pizza calzone was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside and well filled. We had a large salad with it. You could choose from 3 dressings. Service great. Gladly again 😃

Die Pizza war gut, der Salat so lala. Die Pizza ist sehr groß, sehr dünner Teig, etwas trocken. Belag hat gut geschmeckt, Teig hätte etwas Hitze vertragen, Boden war weiß und etwas teigig. Zuviel Salatsoße (Joghurt) und etwas langweilige Salatzusammensetzung. Leider nur Barzahlung, wenigstens EC Karte wäre zeitgemäß.

Delicious pizza with a variety of toppings. Friendly service, everything happens quickly. Prices are fair. If it's too cold to sit outside, they'll quickly feel crowded. Sanitary facilities urgently need renovation.

Very tasty wood-fired pizza but unfortunately after the new pricing policy where a large pizza charges a whopping €15 where it previously cost €12.50 is already very juicy, luckily there are other Italians in Bayreuth where the price-performance ratio is still there fits. Very good pizza, thin and crispy base, baked directly in the wood oven. You can put together the toppings yourself, or you can use one of the “standard pizzas”. There aren't many seats inside, but when the weather is nice you can sit outside.

Unfortunately the quality has deteriorated a lot, I ordered a large tutti di mare pizza, apparently nice and tasty, unfortunately after the first bite I realized that the pizza was completely limp in the middle and not cooked through, the seafood was literally swimming in the tomato sauce . The waitress was very unreasonable, said "I always make pizza like this" and didn't say a word about conciliation or accommodation, I signaled that the pizza didn't taste good and I couldn't eat it, and there was no reaction either. Customer loyalty through customer satisfaction is a foreign word here!! I left hungry, angry but also very disappointed. PS the waitress who cashed in at least apologized but I didn't get tired of it either.

Pizzeria with a small dining room (2-3 tables) and outdoor area. Here the focus is more on collection. The toilets in the basement are old and musty. The pizza itself wasn't bad but nothing special. The dough is very crispy, the edges are brittle and thin. Pizzas weren't all round either. Topping was good, but could have been more cheese. Price/performance just adequate.

Wie haben dort spontan seit langem mal wieder Pizza gegessen. Die Preis-Leistung stimmt. Die Pizzen waren frisch und lecker. (Ich empfehle die große, da die kleine schon sehr klein ist). Man muss aber den dünnen Teig mögen. Zum Essen im Lokal ist es nicht die beste Atmosphäre. Insgesamt holen wir uns dort gern mal wieder Pizzen, jedoch werden wir sie Zuhause essen. Vielleicht ist es im Sommer draußen angenehmer.

Es ist zwar sehr klein, aber die Pizzen waren alle sehr sehr lecker!! Großes Lob dafür! Mann kann hier auch seine Pizza selbst zusammenstellen, wenn man will. Reservierung wäre hier angebracht, da es wirklich wenig Plätze gibt. Service war super, somit kann ich hier echt nichts aussetzen.

Bewirtung sehr freundlich und ihrer Arbeit nachkommend. Okay, die Location ist auch nicht gerade weitläufig. Die Salate waren sehr gut, die Pizzen auch gut, okay ich bin da sehr anspruchsvoll, hab meinen Lieblingsitaliener in KC. Es gibt wenig Sitzplätze im Winter und hat auch eher was von ner Bäckerei mit Steh-Kaffee. Deshalb lieber reservieren. Dennoch großes Lob an das Personal!

Kleine Pizzeria mit einem schönen Pizzaofen. Das Ambiente, die Bedienung und die Pizza ist eher Durchschnitt. Was natürlich nicht schlecht ist. Wer normale Pizza mag ist hier gut aufgehoben. Ein geschmackliches Highlight sollte man nicht erwarten. Die Pizza ist schön dünn und die Sauce schmeckt auch gut. Der Belag ist ausreichend und schmeckt normal, aber dürfte ruhig etwas wärmer sein. Ich fand den Belag zu kalt. Eventuell die Pizza etwas dicker machen um mehr Zeit für die Hitzeentfaltung zu gewähren? In der Summe durchschnittlicher Pizzabäcker zu einem relativ guten Preis. Schön, dass es euch gibt 👍🏿

Klein und fein 😃! Nur drei Tische denn es ist halt mehr zum abholen (besser reservieren). Trotzdem sehr gemütlich und man kann anderen a weng bei der Arbeit zuschauen. Die Pizza war sehr lecker und wahrscheinlich hat NUR mir etwas Salz, in dem ansonst sehr lecker weil dünner Boden, Teig gefehlt und die Servicekräfte waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Jederzeit gerne wieder 👍👍👍

Für einen Besuch vor Ort auf jeden Falls reservieren, da es nicht so viele Sitzplätze gibt. Essen und Service sind sehr gut, preislich günstig.

After our sightseeing we were very hungry when we found this pizzeria. We sat down outside and ordered pizzas. We had to wait for a while, but the waitress was very friendly and we drank very good beer. The pizza was authentic and delicious. We enjoyed our lunch there. I highly recommend this place.

5 Sterne - Weil die Pizza sehr sehr lecker war. Die Bedingung war sehr freundlich und auf zack. Das Lokal ist sehr Klein aber fein.

Teig leider sehr trocken, oft wenig Belag, wenn man keine Pilze aus der Dose will, soll man nochmal draufzahlen (ohne dass einem das vorher gesagt wird). Alles in allem eine richtige Provinzpizza.

Wir haben heute Nachmittag die besten Pizzen seit langem gegessen. Super dünner Boden mit leckerem Belag. Hier stimmt das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis absolut. Auch die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Wenn wir nochmal in Bayreuth Urlaub machen, kommen wir wieder.

Klasse Pizza, besser geht es kaum. Getränke und Service passend dazu. Die Location im Eck mit wenigen eng gestellten Holztischen und Bänken - urig und für einen kurzen Aufenthalt in Ordnung... hat einen ganz eigenen Charme.

Die Pizza war einfach nur extraklasse. Habe bisher nie eine Bessere gegessen. Auch das Personal war super nett und aufmerksam. Zu guter Letzt, war das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis auch in Ordnung. Würde immer wieder vorbei schauen.

Since in existence I love this place. Pizza's are available in a wide range of tastes and also custom made. The food quality is excellent and the service very friendly and attentive. Also the Italian salad is my top favourite since years and years. Since I do not live in Bayreuth anymore I long to go there every time I am in town for a few days.

This is an awesome Pizza place. Bring time when you wish to eat when everybody else wants to, space inside is scarce. If you order to pick up, calculate an hour. But if you are willing to go through the matyrdom ;) you will enjoy the marvelous Pizza of your own design. Try it, do it, love it, is my slogan for them. The dough has had a real life and results in a bubbly, crisp and tasty base for the toppings of your choice. I am glad that the two hungry souls of us found an adequate place after the quite exhausting day at the Lohengrin Bath, where the food is only "ok". The quality found here is rare. The fact mentioned in some ratings, that basically anyone makes the pizza, makes sense to us: pizza is easy when you know the basics and love what you are doing. From my point of view, they know what they are doing.

When I was a student in Bayreuth it was a must to go there, huge pizza with a thin pizza crust. Nowadays my perspective changed a bit. But it is a good choice if you'd like to taste a original Hansls pizza.

Not as great as how many has praised. The pizzas are an average. The restaurant is more of a bistro with only a few tables inside and outside in the summer.

And very friendly service. In a town with so many tourist traps , this place is a find and perfect for lunch after the Wagner museum. Very casual but excellent service and delicious pizza. A must.

Good, Italian style pizza. Thin crust and fresh toppings. I really enjoyed the pizza bread which basically is a pizza without toppings except for garlic/ tomato sauce and fresh basil. A bit pricey but top quality. Always friendly staff and you get your order quite fast.

The place is very small - about 4 tables - so you might find yourself sharing a table or waiting for one to come free - this place is popular. But its good reputation is well deserved.

There are some pretty rave reviews about this place and from my experience, they're justified. I had a sensationally fresh and tasty salad followed by one of the most outstanding thin, crispy based pizzas I've ever enjoyed. Quite basically if we are in Bayreuth we will go here if we want pizza. A very good selection with fine ingredients. A small restaurant which does not have a baby chair.

Called in for lunch. Tiny restaurant. Ordered three pizzas whuch were delicious and freshly baked. Salads were excellent too. Only order the gross size pizza if youre really hungry cos they are huge. Friendly service.
