The food was great, very tasty, homemade food tasted like grandma used to make, we can only recommend going there.

Franconian cuisine at its finest. Super friendly hosts from Bayreuth/Saas. A very cozy dining room. A beer garden with long stretches of sunshine in the summer. They also occasionally have barbecues. The salad buffet is delicious and fresh.

We were very satisfied. Very nice owner, good service, and really good food. The potato salad was a poem.

Very good for a restaurant in a tennis facility! Rooms are large and unfortunately very loud, but clean! Food is good and prices are reasonable. Service was very attentive and friendly, but due to the size of the restaurant it was a bit at its limit, especially when it was full. Can really recommend!!!

We learned about the restaurant through a flyer in our mailbox, so we made reservations for their next fish barbecue evening, and received a very friendly welcome. When we arrived, we were served shortly afterward and informed them of our reservation and pre-order. Drinks were served shortly afterward by another waiter. After almost 40 minutes, the glasses were empty but our ordered fish still hadn't been served, I asked the waiter directly when our fish would be ready. At the grill, we were told that we would have to call a third time. We gladly declined, as we didn't want to wait another 10 minutes, especially since our glasses were already empty. This reminded us of the bookbinder Wanninger. Apart from a relatively high drinks bill, we didn't get anything. At least our son got a couple of bratwursts. Our first visit will also be our last. In summary, one has more the impression of having visited an unorganized family celebration than a real restaurant.

An oasis for dining in the middle of Bayreuth. Friendly service. Very good food at a fair price. Home cooking that simply tastes good. In summer there is a sunny terrace where you can comfortably stop off. We'd love to come back.
