The host is unique, and the food is excellent. Those who appreciate rustic fare will be in good hands in the beer garden.

The landlord is a Bayreuth original. Always have a funny saying on your lips. The kitchen is small. Therefore, there may be waiting times when there is a lot of traffic. Large portions for a good price.

If you (like us) value a cozy and relaxed atmosphere in a simple but charming little beer garden (right on the bike path in the former Herzogmühle), then this is the place for you! The owner is incredibly friendly, the food is lovingly prepared, and it's affordable. Simple German and Turkish dishes are served. We love the currywurst (from the pan) with fries and cheese pita with salad (fresh, with balsamic dressing), or the gyros. Highly recommended! We'll be back often 😉. Caro & Olli
