We had reserved a table for the traditional Oldenburg free-range goose for Saturday, November 29, 2025, at 12:00 PM and would like to thank the entire team for a fantastic experience! The service was absolutely exemplary, from the welcome at the hotel, through the reception at the entrance to the Hanse Stube, to the farewell. The goose was a true culinary delight, and the side dishes were incredibly delicious. The wine recommendation was excellent and very helpful – we were extremely satisfied with that as well. To start, we were offered a delicious glass of sparkling wine on the house, and to finish, with our cappuccino, we were treated to superb truffles. First-class quality, outstanding service, and fantastic offerings naturally come at a price, and in this case, it was completely justified. We sincerely thank you for an unforgettable experience and will definitely book here again in the future.

A huge thank you to Malin and the entire service team – so attentive, warm, and clearly enjoying their work! You made us feel completely welcome. To start, we enjoyed a delicate amuse-bouche of heirloom carrots, yuzu caviar, and smoked trout – a little something extra that immediately whetted our appetites. The appetizer, roasted leeks with potato and preserved lemon, was simply divine. For the main course, we had filet mignon, truffle pasta, and braised veal cheeks – pure indulgence, perfectly balanced. ✨ ... For a sweet finale, we were treated to enchanting crème brûlée and homemade chocolates 💫 As a special highlight, there was also a lovingly decorated birthday cake, which made the lunch a truly personal experience. A huge compliment to the kitchen crew – and thank you to the entire team for so much passion, warmth, and attention to detail. A visit to the Hanse Stube is a culinary experience of the highest caliber. The ambiance is classic, elegant, and simply perfect – you feel at ease from the very first moment. Each course was a true explosion of flavor, finely tuned and prepared with great artisanal precision. I would particularly like to highlight the truffle pasta – I've tried many, but none were as incomparably good as this. The service team is exceptionally attentive, warm, and professional – you can tell that hospitality is truly a way of life here. To finish, we were served homemade chocolates, which were so delicious that I immediately bought some to take home. A truly magnificent experience – I will definitely be back!

Absolutely outstanding! We had lunch at the Hanse Stube yesterday. Everything was outstanding. The food tasted simply amazing and was well-thought-out, as was the presentation. The service was exceptionally attentive and courteous. They were always thinking ahead. The ambiance offers a blend of homely comfort and a stately environment. We would and will return to Cologne just for the Hanse Stube. Anyone looking for an extraordinary experience will find what they're looking for here. Unfortunately, it was not a pleasant evening. The kitchen and service staff were clearly overwhelmed. We had to wait a long time to begin with (for the menu), then for water afterwards, and then, after asking a lot, the first course arrived an hour after we ordered. Unfortunately, not everyone liked it. And the second course came about an hour and a half later. In the end, they waived two bottles of wine as an apology. That was nice, but somehow not enough compensation. We had very high expectations, and unfortunately the restaurant did not live up to them. A real shame! We were there with customers and wanted to offer something great, but we failed in this. Also, the cigar bar next door overshadowed the restaurant. That doesn't suit a restaurant like this and is very distracting.

Nice classic french restaurant where you can get a really good meal with the usual suspects (oyster, filet, caviar, loup de mer, ...). It's extremely central in a posh hotel, overall quite good vibe. That's definitely factored in the price, which is slightly excessive in my opinion. It's basically 1-star prices for both food and wine. While a good restaurant, a notch below that level.

A very beautiful restaurant with a sophisticated ambiance. We opted for the signature menu with six courses and matching wines. All five courses were delicious, beautifully presented, and of the highest quality. The accompanying wine paired each dish perfectly. The service was very polite, always attentive, and friendly. As was the case throughout the hotel. We had a wonderful time in the Hanse Stube.

Unfortunately, an unpleasant experience. I was with a friend today. For the first time, on August 1, 2025, I was at the bar. We had cocktails. We noticed that every new guest receives snacks before ordering. They didn't bring them to us. When paying the bill, we asked the bartender (an attractive young man with glasses), and he said he had messed something up. But our mood was somewhat dampened by the situation, which, as my friend remarked, "made us stand out from the crowd."

The atmosphere struck a perfect balance between inviting warmth and understated luxury, complemented by attentive and personable service. Our waiter added an extra touch of joy to the evening with his humor and friendly manner, making our meal even more memorable. We were fortunate to secure a reservation upon our hotel arrival and were seated immediately. Culinary Delights at Cologne Cathedral +++ The Hanse Stube is located in the Excelsior Hotel, right next to Cologne Cathedral. They serve à la carte or a signature menu, which I chose without question. A friendly reception at the hotel entrance, as well as an equally friendly welcome in the Hanse Stube, which is accessible via the lobby, past an inviting bar, and the back courtyard. A spacious restaurant that seemed empty at 7 p.m., but later – on Monday – filled up. Booking was made online and stress-free, and the evening continued to unfold in a similarly relaxed manner. Seats were assigned, a brief introduction to the menu was provided, along with an extensive wine list. The view sweeps through the dignified space, with dark furnishings, equally dark wood for the paneling and ceiling, and light and elegant materials for the tables and seating. The staff were quietly busy, creating a pleasant and sophisticated atmosphere. My decision for the signature menu was clear; I swapped the wine pairing for two matching glasses at the right time, which the waiter acknowledged with a friendly tone and approval ("Don't worry, you can count on me"). Time for a Kölsch, Gaffel it should be, excellent. For us Austrians, the small glasses are amusing; the good stuff delights thirsty throats. The place setting with butter variations and excellent bread tasted perfectly with the Kölsch, followed by a welcome from the kitchen, all about asparagus. The first course – speared asparagus – surprised me with its extremely good quality and excellent flavor. Skillfully paired, a true delight. My first expected highlight, scallop ceviche, completely captivated me. The rhubarb perfectly complemented the flavor of the mussels in combination with the outstanding dressing. My palate rejoiced. Time for the first glass of wine: a very harmonious Riesling from Dr. Loosen served with the pickled fjord trout, which was served with beurre blanc, Antonius caviar (expertly explained and appreciated during the serving), and green asparagus. Perfectly cooked, a poem of a dish. The consistency almost melted in the mouth, the flavors perfect – wonderful. A new glass delighted me, a Pinot Noir from the Dr. Heger winery. A sorbet as an intermediate course further refreshed the palate, a welcome change and shortened the wait for the roasted veal fillet. It arrived pink to perfection, wonderfully tender with a composition of asparagus, cauliflower, and chanterelle mushrooms. A skillful and careful combination of flavors and textures. A sweet finale followed with a perfect affogato, and as a surprise, there were chocolates from a well-stocked selection to suit every taste. A wonderful evening with perfect performances from the kitchen, cellar, and service. Unobtrusive and always attentive to the guest. A restaurant with a very pleasant atmosphere.

A visit to the Hanse Stube led by Mr. Sasse is more than just a dinner – it is an unforgettable experience. Mr. Sasse brings his many years of experience in fine dining and his first-class training at the renowned Hotel Ernst to every facet of this restaurant. His passion for excellent cuisine and hospitality can be felt in every detail. The dishes are not only culinary masterpieces, but also tell stories of tradition and innovation. With his warm manner and his expertise, Mr. Sasse manages to create an atmosphere in which you immediately feel welcome and cared for. Although the meat was cooked to perfection, the fascia (silver skin) hadn't been properly removed... It's a shame this ruined the otherwise positive impression. We found all the other courses to be well-prepared and flavorful.

I had the pleasure of visiting this establishment for the first time yesterday and was not disappointed. Entering the hall of the Hotel Excelsior in a classic, magnificent ambience is already a first step into a traditional architecture that is increasingly dying out. Before visiting the restaurant, we visited the bar for an aperitif, a wood-paneled, cozy room with an excellent drinks list. Afterwards we went to the restaurant, my coat, which I had left in the bar, was carried there by a friendly waitress, everything was completely inconspicuous and discreet. In addition to a collection of classic dishes, the menu also includes modern dishes and a regularly changing menu. The sequence of dishes and the associated service with insertion and removal were of fine grandeur. You immediately feel at home in the dark, elegant interior. There were two small downsides: There was a certain unrest in the bar and at least our main service person in the restaurant, despite all his friendliness and skills, was apparently a bit overworked and therefore always left the table a little too quickly, which slightly detracted from the very professional announcement of the courses and the wine service. But that's complaining at the highest level.

Tolles Mittwochs Menü, welches wir noch morgens für mittags reservieren konnten. Alle Gänge waren ansprechend angerichtet und äußerst schmackhaft. Auch der alkoholfreie Wein hat uns gut gemundet. Es gibt keinen Personalmangel und der Service ist freundlich und aufmerksam aber nicht aufdringlich. Da uns die Pause nach dem 1. Aufgrund einer Empfehlung waren wir vor Weihnachten zum Gänseessen mit Gästen in der Hansestube zum Mittagessen. Lt. Aussage von Freunden sollte die Gans die *Beste* in Köln sein. Zum Essen kann man das wirklich sagen. Die Gans wurde im Ganzen präsentiert und dann in zwei Gängen uns aufgetischt. Rotkohl, Maronen und kleine Klösse waren die Begleiter. Zum ersten Gang wurde die knusprige Brust und im zweiten Gang die Keulen für alle Gäste serviert. Es war alles schmackhaft und vor allen Dingen warm. Ein Minuspunkt muss leider erwähnt werden. Da man bei der Reservierung erwähnt hatte, dass ein Gast an einer Nuss-und Sellerieallergie leidet, wurde hier versäumt eine Alternative der Sauce anzubieten. Für ein Haus dieser Klasse ist das leider wirklich unverzeihlich. Ein Gänseessen ohne eine selleriefreie Sauce kann jeder Koch herstellen. Schade, so etwas hatten wir nicht erwartet. Auch muss erwähnt werden, dass der Service an diesem Tag nicht seinen besten Tag hatte. Der bestellte Wein kam erst spät zum ersten Gang, das Wasser stand still auf einem Nebentisch vor sich hin und es wurde nicht aufmerksam nachgefüllt. Sollte man sich das in diesem Haus selbst nachgießen ? Schade, auch das hätte optimaler sein können. Somit war leider dies ein Essen mit Mängel, die man sicherlich abstellen sollte. Wir waren etwas enttäuscht !

We were only able to reserve a table at 6 p.m. on December 22. When we arrive at the table the waiter tells us that we can only choose the 4 courses because we have to vacate the table at 8 p.m., for €110 per menu, we could expect a little more consideration. The cuisine was good but not at all in terms of quality and finesse in relation of the menu price. The service was expeditious, the drinks at exorbitant prices, the Laurent Perrier champagne at €170. Anyway, 1h30 later, dessert served, we were presented with the €460 bill… a real scam.

Service expéditif, vous avez 2h pour manger un menu 4 services à 110€, l’accompagnement des vins à 69€ vous donne droit à 4 verres minimalistes de vins à 15€ la bouteille. La cuisine est digne d’une brasserie sans plus. Évitez le champagne, une bouteille vendu dans le commerce à 35€ vous est servie à 170€. Vous payez le cadre et l’emplacement près de la cathédral. Ce n’est pas du tout de la gastronomie, sauf le prix + de 450€ pour deux.

I would happily pay the €20.50 you charge for your Negroni if only it were expertly prepared. Unfortunately, the cocktail I was served was far from a good Negroni. The dilution was excessive and the consistency therefore had nothing to do with that of a properly prepared Negroni. Not to mention the ice cubes, some of which had already melted, which further ruined my aperitif.

Servicio amable y buena cocina - lo que más se puede pedir. Regresé para una segunda noche que con mi gusto por la novela es muy raro. La razón por la que lo hice fue el servicio encantador y un excelente menú corto de francés finamente ejecutado - clásicos inclinados. Una sopa de cebolla francesa reinventada era delicada y absolutamente llena de sabor - no hay crutones de hockey aquí! Un roulade de ternera y una reducción de rodaballo y tomate proporcionaron diferentes delicias cada noche. No te pierdas la selección de chocolate con café. Un gran lugar. Wir haben in der Hanse Stube das Menü gegessen und waren zu 100% zufrieden. Alle Gänge waren köstlich! Die Präsentation auf den Tellern war perfekt, der Service (ganz lieber älterer Herr) super professionell und das Interior sehr schön. Besonders gut hat mir der Nachtisch geschmeckt! Wein und Champagner waren ebenfalls top! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! Absolute Empfehlung!

Actually it would be 3.5 stars in my opinion. Unfortunately, in my opinion, the overall experience is no longer as good as it once was. The service was good, in my opinion the dishes in the end were just not as well rounded/balanced as I would expect in this restaurant category and price range. Plus little mistakes like half-frozen butter on bread that couldn't be cut. If anything, the wine accompaniment was “nice” for us. Very boring, everyday and young wines that in the end should taste good to everyone, but are not really good for anyone. As an aperitivo we had rosé champagne for €27 a glass (0.1l). I find it a bit weak to offer a standard Veuve Clicquot that you can buy in the supermarket in this context. But in the end I wasn't particularly surprised when a bottle of still water costs just under €12. Not a recommendation for me if you like/are used to fine cuisine.

Top from front to back. The restaurant manager and everyone else on the team accompanied us perfectly in every aspect of the evening. We sat inside in a cozy, air-conditioned atmosphere and were able to enjoy the really delicious food in peace. We have often eaten in upscale restaurants, but we really felt very comfortable here. The main courses and snacks were all very tasty. The only thing that is a bit complicated is the access to the restaurant and the parking situation, so perhaps the signage or access could be improved.

We wandered in off the street into this beautiful fine dining restaurant in the Excelsior hotel, looking super scruffy and not wanting a big meal. We only wanted starters and dared to ask for tap water. Most posh restaurants would have been snooty towards us given these circumstances but the staff at Hanse Stube were magnificent and treated us like queens. Food was lovely and finished with exquisite chocolates. Absolutely outstanding and thank you for making us feel important and special.

One of the best French-Haute restuarants in the world. Impeciably run by Kluas and his warm team of staff - the telented kitchen team at Hanse Stube serve an often-changing but exemplary menu, to the highest-highest standard. The attention to detail, the traditional preparation methods and a use of seasonal, high quality & natural ingredients makes this, for me one of the leading resturarants in Europe. It surpasses Michelin for reasons I can only suggest you experience in the person. A truly brilliant resturant for any one seeking culinary excellence.

A mixed bag I read all the previous reviews before i went to the restaurant, and well I prob still say things similar to prior reviews.... Restaurant - the restaurant sits inside one of the oldest hotels of cologne and yes you can feel the vintage atmosphere of it. Food - the food indeed came salty. I decided to try their seasonal menu instead of the lunch set. The cooking was good, but well that is to be expected from this level of restaurant. Service - the staffs are friendly for sure, but unfortunately not professional. I can understand comments from earlier reviews. Verdict : i guess you can give it a miss if you are looking for exceptional fine dining experiences. But if you are looking for a fancy restaurant in this historic town, sure why not? I spent c. 60 euro for 1 main and 1 still water.

I had the tasting menu and really like the leek and salmon. The pigeon and lamb courses could still be improved in my opinion. Meat texture is very well controlled, but the sauce is just acceptable. When I spend so much money in a restaurant, I expect to get at least one course that amazes me a lot...didn't happen here. I believe this is one of the best French restaurant here, but just here in this city.

Wir hatten schon großartige Menüs in der Hanse-Stube - z.B. sehr gute Erinnerungen an den letztjährigen Winebattle - aber dies mal war alles nicht wirklich rund. Der in Salzteig gegarte Lauch war recht unausgegoren, die Lachsforelle mit Kölner Allerlei dagegen eigentlich geschmacklich hervorragend, nur sollte man auf diesem Niveau keine Gräte im Fisch finden müssen. Die Taube war zwiespältig. Einige von uns fanden sie hervorragend, anderen war sie zu roh und die Haut nicht knusprig genug. Auf jeden Fall war bei der Mehrzahl von uns leider nur viel zu wenig Täubchen auf dem Teller. Und die dazu gereichte Rote Beete Sauce war etwas zu salzig abgeschmeckt, was leider auch beim Hauptgang, dem Salzwiesenlamm und seiner Sauce und Beilagen, der Fall war. Das zusammen mit den nicht vorgewärmten Teller, störte den Gesamteindruck des Ganges leider etwas, was sehr Schade war, da das Lamm hier perfekt auf dem Punkt gegart war. Nachtisch war ok - das Kerbelsorbet war wirklich lecker - aber jetzt auch nicht hervorragend. Von daher, auch vor dem Hintergrund des Preises für das Menü, ein nicht vollkommen zufrieden stellender Restaurantbesuch

We had the 3-course menu this lunchtime, which started promisingly with the greeting from the kitchen. Unfortunately, both the soup and the main meat dish were very salty. Regarding the service, it should be noted that the ladies in the service deserved 5 stars, but Mr. S. gave the opposite impression. He didn't like the fact that he had to change the amount of the card payment because of the tip, and he documented this loudly and clearly. Such behavior is inappropriate.

All staff I interacted with went above and beyond to make this a wonderful experience. I had breakfast on several days and also visited the bar a number of times. Henrik at the bar did a great job. We were in town for many days and met up with friends from across the world. Henrik ensured that we were always taken care of, and even kept the evening going late for us at our request. This truly added to the trip and I can honestly say that without the exemplary customer service given by Henrik that our enjoyment of the hotel would have diminished. Highly recommend this property!

The food is usually quite good, but… If you've ever seen a 1960s movie that featured an upscale hotel restaurant... this place tries to recreate that. With dark wood paneling, fresh flowers, individually engraved cutlery, curved dishes, linen napkins with sewn buttonholes, whisper quiet and no music, although the traffic at the main station is visible through the windows. Unfortunately the attempt is unsuccessful. Several problems slowly emerge, starting with the black tape that repairs the hole in the carpet almost in front of the main entrance. “That’s such a small detail!” "No. There are no small details.” The servers seemed competent, but I was there for lunch and it was barely 20% full. The food itself wasn't too bad, but minor issues bothered me - like the dried "fresh" bread that was served with the meal. Maybe I can fix that with the salt and pepper shakers placed at each table. It's unfortunate that a restaurant with such an obviously rich history seems to have been squandered. Was für ein Reinfall. Wir haben unsere Freunde mitgenommen und höchst unprofessionell gegessen. Nie wieder. Ostersamstag- Zunächst wurden wir mit den Mänteln zum Tisch geleitet, dort wurden sie uns erst abgenommen. Wir warteten 1,5 Stunden ehe es das Amuse Geule gab. Da hatten wir uns schon bemerkbar gemacht, denn auch Wasser wurde nicht nachgeschenkt. Der Sommelier wurde uns angekündigt aber erneut warteten wir ohne dass er zum Tisch kam. Dann war zu sehen wie er ein weiteres Weinbuch aus dem Regal holte und dann zu anderen Gästen ging. Es sei zu viel zu tun, entschuldigte ihn ein anderer Kellner der nun zu unserem Tisch erschien und nahm die Weinbestellung an. Das servierte Essen war in der Qualität gut, aber bei all dem Ärger darum herum war der Genuss eingeschränkt. Der Espresso wurde ohne Zucker serviert. Bei der Frage nach einem Digestiv verwiesen wir erneut auf unseren Ärger und wünschten diesen auf´s Haus. Der Kellner erklärte er müsse erst seinen Chef fragen und servierte einem Eierlikör aufs Haus. Den Oberkellner haben wir kein einziges Mal gesprochen. Eine Entschuldigung blieb aus. Lob an den Auszubildenden, der unser großzügiges Trinkgeld durch seine höflich-freundliche Art verdient hat und als einziger reife Professionalität bewies. Nie wieder Hanse Stube.

Wir waren Sonntag 3.3.24 in den Hansestuben und das Abendessen war eine große Enttäuschung und Preis/Leistung stehen absolut in keinem Verhältnis! Los ging es mit der Speisekarte, die für ein solches Haus viel zu klein und absolut fischlastig war und es gab z.b. nur eine veg. Vorspeise, Chicoreesalat mit Apfel für unglaubliche 33 Euro. Wir bestellten als Vorspeise eine Wildpastete. Der Geschmack war fad und nichtssagend und die dazu gereichten Schokocrumble waren trocken und passten überhaupt nicht. Brot oder Toast gab es leider auch nicht dazu. Bei der Hauptspeise hat mein Sohn für 52 Euro ein Stubenküken bestellt, welches man auf dem Teller suchen musste und dann auch innen noch komplett roh war... Es mussten dann zum Nachgaren wieder zurück in die Küche, die Beilagen blieben jedoch auf dem Tisch stehen und kühlten langsam aus. Meine Mutter und ich hatten eine Seezunge für 2 Personen bestellt (21 Euro/100g) mit dem Hinweis, dass wir bitte keine zu große Seezunge max. 600 g haben möchten. Gekommen ist eine Seezunge von 800 g (168 Euro), die geschmacklich o.k. war, aber dem Preis leider auch keine Offenbarung. Aber die absolute Frechheit waren die Beilagenkartoffeln, die uns steinhart dazu serviert wurden. Wir reklamierten die Kartoffeln und bekamen vom Kellner die flapsige Antwort, das Problem mit den Kartoffeln hätten sie schon seit mehreren Jahren und er hätte schon öfters der Küche empfohlen andere Beilagen auszuwählen.... Der Kellner brachte die Kartoffeln dann auch zum Nachgaren wieder in die Küche. Ca. 4 Minuten später, nachdem die Seezunge und der Blattspinat fast kalt war, kamen die Kartoffeln zurück und waren immer noch viel zu hart. Auch das reklamierten wir, aber der Kellner meinte, das würde sich jetzt nicht mehr lohnen eine andere Beilage zu bestellen... Was soll ich sagen, der Abend war ein absoluter Reinfall und da half auch der Versuch, uns eine kostenlose Nachspeise und den Kaffee aufs Haus auszugeben, nichts. Wir haben 450 Euro für 3 Personen bezahlt und leider nur mittelmäßig gegessen, was ich für eine Hotel Excelsior mehr als beschämend finde. Sehr schade, da dies ein sehr besonderer Abend für meine 87jährige Mutter werden sollte!

Classic French cuisine at a good level. The service is extremely courteous and very attentive throughout the evening. The wine list offers a nice assortment of international wines of all price levels. The food could not fully convince. The truffles of the starter were tasteless. Meat and sauce of the main course were incredibly good, but the side dishes either under- or overcooked. Unfortunately, this does not justify the prices charged. The dessert then reconciled again, remarkably good.

Do not delay! Wonderful bar-- and excellent service! We popped in here after strolling the Christmas Markets--- gorgeous hotel and bar! The bar is very cosy and chic. Immediately, the staff were all over us and very friendly --it was amazing! Cocktails superb and cream of celery soup on point! Top notch all around! Our only regret was not booking our hotel there at The Excelsior!

"Klassiek, mist een extra touch" Voor de prijs die je betaalt, vonden we de ervaring gemiddeld, omdat de prijs/kwaliteit een beetje uit balans is (te duur voor wat je krijgt). Bijna alle restaurants in deze prijscategorie waar we al we aten, waren van een wat hoger niveau. We namen het menu, de smaken waren goed, maar aan bijna elk gerecht ontbrak iets, vooral de sauzen waren niet echt geweldig. Het interieur is zeer klassiek, wat vergane glorie, er stond een bordenwarmer op de kast naast onze tafel (?), meubels met bechadinh, enz... De gemiddelde bezoekers leeftijd in het restaurant was ruim boven de 60 jaar, wat je een idee geeft van het publiek waarop het restaurant zich richt. Service was erg vriendelijk en adequaat. Over het algemeen ok diner, maar we waren niet echt onder de indruk.

Incredible restaurant and equally impressive food. We came here for a team dinner and honestly I felt so spoilt. The menu consisted of - Tartar from Veal Cream soup of Chanterelle Flamed Salmon Trout Filet of Beef Peach Variations Absolutely loved every moment of our visit and couldn't want for more. 10/10.

Ich durfte einen großartigen Abend verbringen, erst an der Bar und dann auf der Terrasse der Hansestube. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend und außergewöhnlich freundlich, die Sommelière hat die Weine samt Herkunft toll erklärt und auch Nachfragen geduldig beantwortet. Das Menü war sehr liebevoll zubereitet und toll angerichtet… Danke an das Team! 🙏

Das Ambiente und der Service war absolut top. Könnte nicht besser sein. Der Meeresfrüchtecocktail war ein Highligt. Auf jeden Fall empfehle ich diesen weiter. Und auch mehr als lecker waren die "Grüße aus der Küche". ABER DAS RUMPSTEAK war absolut faserisch und ist ein NOGO für eine Küche dieser Klasse. Reklamiert haben wir das und ich hätte auf ein Entgegenkommen im Preis gerechnet. Leider kam nichts dergleichen.

Sterne Restaurant im Hotel Excelsior Ernst in Köln an der Domplatte. Das Restaurant ist sehr altmodisch eingerichtet. Für ein Restaurant mit Stern war sehr wenig Personal (2 später 3) anwesend, was bestimmt auch daran lag dass wir und ein weiteres Pärchen die einzigen waren die reserviert hatten. Die restlichen ca. 12-16 Gäste kamen spontan. Deshalb ging es im Gastraum durchaus hektisch zu. Das Personal war trotz allem sehr freundlich. Das Essen war auch sehr gut. Was mich allerdings überrascht hat war, dass der Senf welcher uns zum Essen gereicht wurde das MHD schon 4 Monate überschritten hatte. Mich stört das nicht, zumal Senf ja nicht verfallen kann, aber falls da jemand empfindlich drauf reagiert ist das eher nicht angemessen.

Das Lokal war ganz nett und das Essen ausgefallener, was mir per se gut gefällt. Wenn man jedoch nicht entsprechend gekleidet kommt, wird man argwöhnisch von oben bis unten gemustert. Wenn man dort hin geht empfiehlt es sich Justus-like zu kleiden ;)

Leckeres Essen für große Geldbörsen. Aperitif Taitinger Rosé. Da kann man nichts falsch machen. Rotwein ok, muss man wohl mehr als 60 Euro anlegen, um was richtig gutes zu bekommen😂 Vorspeise Kalbstatar, leider etwas zu oelig, fettig. Mein Mitstreiter hatte Austern. Waren gut. Hauptgang Chateau Briand, ausgezeichnet, insbesondere die Soße. Kartoffelgratin hätte etwas mutiger gewürzt sein können. Creme Brulee, super präsentiert und auch sehr lecker. Die Kritikpunkte sind natürlich jammern auf hohem Niveau, trotzdem berechtigt, da man ja auch das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis sehen muss.

Sensationell gutes Restauranterlebnis von der Begrüßung, bis hin zur Verabschiedung. Vielen Dank an das Serviceteam und die Küchenbrigade unter der Leitung von Joschua Tepner. Der Patisserie Kurs von Fabian Scheithe ist wirklich ein Erlebnis. Absolut empfehlenswert und sehr locker und liebevoll gestaltet. Man spürt, dass er mit Herz und Seele dabei ist. Die süßen Kreationen sind etwas ganz besonderes und schmecken himmlisch. Kann ich jedem nur ans Herz legen.

Das Essen war OK, wenn auch nicht in 5*-Niveau. Das Restaurant in altehrwürdigen, wirklich klasisch-edlem Stil. Leider vermisste einem der Service, der ständig und sogar für den Gast spürbar am jammern und meckern war. Besonders dann, wenn "dummerweise schon wieder" Gäste kamen. Den Angstellten hat wohl noch niemand gesagt, wer schlussendlich Ihre Lohn zahlt. Schade.

Simply superb!! Delicious food, very (sometimes a little too :) plentiful. There really is something for everyone on the menu. Excellent selection, many dishes are quite unique. Give it a try!! Relaxed, efficient service, smooth and fun – exemplary. A bit noisy, but where isn't it when the place is this good (and therefore packed)? I'll definitely be back!!
