We were at Hans im Glück in the Isarpost with our regular table of 6 people on April 4th, 2025. The great service from the start really impressed us in the great atmosphere. The food was simply great and very good. Our service was simply amazing. Competent, friendly and always with a smile, the whole time was a wonderful experience. Thank you Hans in luck.

Really great place to grab a lunch or dinner

We looked for a dinner place that was still open until 11pm and went here at 9:55am. Was denied food eventhough we came here an hour before closing time

Hans im Glück has great options for vegetarians. The staff is also nice. They also have a barcode on every table, which has nutrition information about every dish on the menu. I really like that feature. I have been to this branch twice and overall no complaints.

Wednesday, 9 p.m., and there's nothing left from the bar. "Unfortunately, it's already closed." At least a watery wine spritzer, diluted with plenty of ice cubes, is still available. At least the food is tasty—ordered just in time—and the kitchen was already closing.

I'd like to make a statement about Consita E.'s review. I was sitting with friends near this rude trio. The lady and her two companions used inappropriate language, were provocative, and even expressed their outrageous opinion about the waitress's face. The waitress remained professionally friendly. Truly remarkable... I'm not posting the insult because I'm very embarrassed for her! And the insult came from three people who, when it comes to beauty, were created very grassroots! I'm a regular here, and it's great. Tip of the day: if you want kindness, be kind!

The ambience is really great, very nicely decorated and well thought out. The partitions ensure that you can't actually hear the people at the next table. The waitresses are nice and quick, drinks were there within a few minutes, and the food was also very quick. The selection is quite ok, the prices are on the higher side for burgers. The vegan burger itself was a bit dry, but for me the competition is clearly ahead in this area - even with the changing offers.

On Monday, March 17, 2025, three of us went here for dinner for my birthday. Unfortunately, it wasn't a pleasant experience – the staff were very rude and lackluster from the start. It only got worse over time, from a very subtle, friendly tone to facial expressions that almost left me speechless – until the very end, when we asked for the bill after almost 100 euros (we had paid by card), the nice lady simply said snippy things – and I quote: "She wouldn't cheat customers..." The atmosphere was accordingly very unpleasant, to the detriment of the otherwise good food that we had really been looking forward to. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this location.

Unfortunately, the vegan burger was a bit dry and the sauce for the fries was forgotten.

I like this chain. The ambiance is always nice and beautiful. Waiters are nice and orders are getting ready quickly. The food here is good, there is a high variety of burgers and side dishes of high quality. And it's possible to choose the bun and sauce. There are also special burgers for vegans and vegetarians. The prices are good, I'm glad to recommend this place.

I had a great time at Hans im Glück on Sonnenstrasse! The atmosphere is cozy, the food is delicious as always, and the service is simply great. A special thank you to our waitress Laura 🥰 – she was simply wonderful! Super friendly, attentive and always with a smile. She made our visit even better. I'll definitely be back! 😍

A very nice branch with a great atmosphere and extremely courteous and friendly service! 😊 I forgot to say when I ordered that I didn't want ice cubes in my drink because I had a sore throat, so it was my fault, and I was offered a new drink anyway - that's what I call customer friendliness and that's how you make guests happy! 🤗 The boss is also very nice and accommodating. 😉 As far as I know, they don't use fresh meat, just frozen meat.

We got the food first and then the drink. We then asked the staff and apparently it was made but not brought to our table. Otherwise cocktails were good. Service was ok, the rest was good.

Service is just bad, only small children who don't want to work. Were there at 9:20 p.m., the waitresses delayed until 9:30 p.m. and then said the kitchen was closed. We had a stressful day and didn't get any food at the end of the day. The service can only cater to young men, we didn't see anything more than that. Not recommended

Just wanted to have another cocktail at 10:57 p.m. The employees told us that they had to close the store earlier because of low sales that day. She confirmed that the opening time is actually 12:00 a.m.

This is not an ordinary burger bar - a really great array of burgers, bowls and extras. Amazing interior decor which adds so much to the experience. The staff were all excellent and were very helpful. The bar chef was top notch and was getting the drink orders processed very quickly so there was no waiting. The food and drink presentation was great.

A very disappointing visit. Supposedly you get a free hot drink with dessert, but the waitress said at 8:45 p.m. that the machine had already been switched off - an absolute joke given these opening times. The chicken burger was also a disaster: the meat was tough and dry, barely edible. Overall the evening was just annoying and I definitely can't recommend this location

The food is good, but we chose the restaurant specifically because it is open until 11 p.m. At 9:15 p.m. we were already checked in, and from then on we cleaned up, turned on a bright light and turned off the music. This is absolutely not a nice atmosphere to spend a cozy evening. We were finally kicked out at 10 p.m., even though the opening times until 11 p.m. are also written on the door. Hans im Glück = everybody im Glück Always like a fairytale when you visit a Hans im Glück restaurant. You are literally in a birchtree forrest! Burgers are always delicious, and at every new visit I try a new burger. This time, because of Veganuary - a vegan burger. Like crispy chicken - it was delicious! My 2 coworkers where also very happy with their burgers. And I had a fantastic Mango - Mint Drink, very delicious!

We were lucky with 30 people at Hans and were very satisfied. The food came quickly and was very tasty.

Online booking works great for a reservation. We were warmly greeted and taken to our table. The concept for ordering was explained to us very well. The service is great, fast, friendly and very accommodating. The burgers and drinks were very tasty. Everything is fresh and something different than the big chains. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back. The only problem: the rooms and the building are not well suited for people with limited mobility. The toilet is upstairs and there is no ramp at the door. Parking spaces are also rare. Therefore, it is better to come by public transport.

Had reservations, everything went well. The service was friendly and accommodating. Our order was also delivered quickly. We really enjoyed the burger and the fries. The cocktails are beautifully presented and very tasty. Cozy atmosphere. When the weather is nice you can also sit outside. Price-performance was right. Gladly again. (November 2024)

Wanted something to drink at 10:15 p.m. Were informed by the usher that the restaurant was about to close because they had no guests, even though the restaurant was half full and the opening hours were until midnight. Opening times at the whim of the staff. I'm not surprised that no guests come if you are instructed to do so during opening hours. Had the feeling the staff wanted to go home. Just one star, because you have to give one star.

Good burgers like in every Hans im Glück. Unfortunately the service wasn't that great. First we should take a table where you have to climb around a ladder to get to the seat. When we declined and chose one at the bar, an employee's coffee was placed right next to me. The smell of coffee just doesn't go well with the burger.

I always come back to Hans im Glück. It's a good option if you're in the center and want a quick bite to eat before moving on. The burger is delicious. Maybe the atmosphere is a bit stuffy, but it's not bad for a quick lunch or dinner.

We arrived on Saturday after going to the cinema at 10:30 p.m. with growling stomachs and were happy to have opened something in our beloved provincial town at that time that supposedly still had an open kitchen, only to be told that it was The kitchen was already closed because there wasn't that much going on. Sorry, but if you officially state warm food until 11 p.m. on the website, then you have to guarantee that. Or just honestly write “Opening times as you please, depending on how busy our staff feels is going on at the moment”.

Unfortunately, the service was very inattentive during our visit as five of them stood around and talked about their salaries instead of serving guests. It was also annoying that cutlery etc. was dropped on the floor by the service four times during our short stay.

"You'll be happy to get a table for two if you're ready in an hour." To be on the safe side, we left after half an hour. The waitress walked past us twenty times. My child didn't quite understand it, but you can do it that way.

We were a group of 17 people on our company outing. I was responsible for making reservations at a restaurant and immediately chose Hans im Glück because I've always had good experiences there. First I wrote to the restaurant on Marienplatz to make a reservation. But I was told that they don't make reservations. But a second restaurant at Sendlinger Tor was recommended to me and shortly afterwards I received a message from this same restaurant without having written to them. I found it really courteous that they forwarded my message and then wrote to me. Everything was perfect on site, the food was great and the team was incredibly friendly. If you are in Munich, you should visit Hand im Glück!

I've always been happy with you so far, and I've always paid €40 for two lunch menus (around €3-4), but this time the bill was €46 and I rounded it up to €50. After paying, I asked for my bill, the two lunch menus cost €37.4 and you booked €8.6 as a tip, without asking me, so in the end I paid €50 for a bill of €37.

The service wasn't unfriendly, but it wasn't exactly motivated either. Unfortunately, the potential of the ambience was destroyed by security measures

I went to the Hans im Glück restaurant in Munich and I loved it. It is close to the train station and easy to find. The place is very nice, with a relaxed and modern atmosphere. The decoration is very original, with wood and plants. The restaurant is open every day from morning to night, so it's perfect for any time. The service was fast and friendly. I ordered the Wild Westen Burger, which is very tasty. It has meat, caramelized onion, cheese and barbecue sauce. Comes with fries. Everything was delicious, very well prepared. I highly recommend this place. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is very pleasant. I'll be back soon!

The food was good and it arrived quickly. However, a couple of things were a bit strange and unexpected. We were asked to share a table with another couple we didn’t know, and after we paid the bill, the waitress asked me and my companion for a tip. I was visiting for a couple of days and I'm not familiar with the local culture; perhaps that is the norm, but I found it uncomfortable.

Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience during our visit to Hans im Glück. We had ordered large fries and this was confirmed, but in the end we only received a small, half-full bowl. At a price of 7 euros, that was an absolute no-go, especially since the fries were soggy and half cold. Also, everything was delivered individually, so we couldn't eat together. When we wanted to complain about this, the service was unfortunately overwhelmed. In addition, it was cold, fast and rather uncomfortable in the restaurant. Overall, unfortunately far from what we had hoped for. Improvements in service and quality are urgently needed.

Very friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Excellent cocktails and good food. I've been there several times and it's really nice to sit inside. Last time (in August) I sat outside with friends and unfortunately we were constantly disturbed by beetles crawling on us and the table, which is why I wouldn't recommend the seats outside, especially under the trees. Apart from that, everything fits here.

It's sometimes very full. Nice waitresses. Unfortunately it has now become quite expensive...especially for the small portions.

The only negative point: a “homemade” peach-lime iced tea for over €5, where the lime part consisted of two slices of lime. I actually find it quite expensive. It's also a shame that there are no menus anymore! Of course the branch can't do anything about it. Still 5/5 :)

Very large and spectacular place inside that also has a large terrace outside. You can have lunch or dinner at any time and the burgers are quite delicious. Quite recommended compared to the rest of the restaurants in the area.

Chain of very suggestive places with the carettistica of these trunks that furnish the interior. I ate very well and the choice is quite wide and varied, prices are average. You have to go at least once!

Far too expensive, the demotivated service staff was only present in the entire dining room every 20 minutes, and the quality of the food was also poor. To charge €8 for a handful of soggy fries onto which someone carelessly threw a handful (!!!!) of pepper and cold cheese is simply cheeky. I'm definitely not coming back.

The food was very tasty and the service was very nice. Unfortunately, the women's toilet was horrible, both in terms of smell and appearance. There was also very little toilet paper. One toilet was broken and smelled horrible.

Hey, it's just a HiG, everything is always right anyway. Personally, I particularly like that the HiG is huge; There is even a gallery with enough tables. When we were there, the HiG was packed to the ceiling with guests, and I think the waiters, cooks, and bartenders had consumed a speed potion. There were 16 of us and the drinks came almost immediately; Our food orders with a few extra requests also came after less than 15 minutes. What's going on organizationally is crazy! Great respect, you should start at DB, maybe the store will run someday :D Until next time and kudos!

Good burgers, excellent cocktails and nice service. The food came really quickly and there are different sauces for the fries to try out.

Stood around at the entrance for 5 minutes, no one came to give us a seat. Then not.

So it was really great there, service, food... However, there is a 1 star deduction because the dessert (brownie with cream and vanilla ice cream) was a warmed up piece. It was a frozen cake that tasted like nothing.

They are go-to burgers especially as they have so many vegan & Veggie option; the fries are very ok; so I tend to skip the combo option. Also the mocktail selection is delightful! Best part is that in any of the outlet the burgers are always consistently delicious. My favorite being the vegan Wolpertinger, and sometimes the sweet potato fries to go along! If you want a quick hearty meal without long waiting times this is a great option. During rush hour it can get very loud plus they have also very loud music on, which is sometime annoying. But food wise we have never been disappointed

Ich habe die Burger bestellt und wurde sehr enttäuscht. Sie waren unglaublich salzig, sodass ich ganz viel trinken musste und schmecken tun sie jetzt gar nicht mehr wie früher... Das Einzige, was ich noch essen kann, waren die Süßkartoffel-Pommes.

Makan burger enak di Germany, rasa dagingnya enak banget. Porsinya besar, kentangnya banyak. Pelayanan oke, ramah. Tempatnya bersih nyaman, suasananya homy dengan nuansa kayu dan unik karena ada pohon-pohon.. Sausnya ada 4 macam, orange, tomato, etc. Bisa pilih sesuai selera.

Meine Rezension richtet sich allgemein an jeden Hans im Glück. Dieses Restaurant ist leider nicht mehr das, was es vielleicht mal vor mehreren Jahren war. Meiner Meinung nach sind die Burger zu teuer für das was sie sind, man kann im Farbverlauf der Soßen problemlos erkennen, dass diese einfach mit alten aufgeschüttet werden, die Drinks sind für mein Empfinden schwach gemacht und mit zu viel Eis serviert, worüber ein adrettes Minzblatt mit Puderzucker oder eine Orangenscheibe hinwegtäuschen soll. Meiner Meinung nach hält sich Hans im Glück nur noch durch zwei Aspekte über Wasser. Der erste wäre der Name, welcher mit guten Burgern und schönem Ambiente in Verbindung gebracht wird. Der zweite ist von psychologischer Natur. Einerseits ist es ein bekannter Fakt, dass nur attraktive Menschen eingestellt werden, was dazu führt, dass mehr bestellt wird, außerdem ist das Lokal sehr eng und meist auch sehr voll, dies fällt jedoch nicht auf, da taktisch intelligent die berühmten Birkenstämme platziert wurden und somit darüber hinwegtäuschen.

Essen war ziemlich gut und der Service der Hammer, aber die Toiletten riechen bestialisch.... Unzumutbar beinahe.

Habe einen Burger zum mitnehmen bestellt. Aufgrund von Schwangerschaft bat ich darum , dass der Burger (Patty plus bacon) sehr gut durchgebraten sein muss. Der Keller erklärte nur kurz, dass bei Ihnen eh alles durch sei. Ich betonte nochmal, dass es derzeit sehr wichtig für mich sei, dass es gut durch ist. Das Fleisch war gerade noch in Ordnung auch wenn es mir lieber gewesen wäre, wenn es länger gebraten worden wäre. Der Bacon war leider gefühlt komplett roh, so dass ich alles herauslesen musste. Irgendwie schade, wenn auf sowas nicht geachtet wird !

Essen und Getränke sehr lecker. Personal freundlich, dennoch oftmals lange Wartezeiten bis man bedient wird. Die Veganen Burger, einfach super!

Sehr nette Bedienung und aufmerksam! Man wird freundlich empfangen und man bekommt einen Tisch zugeteilt. Preislich ist es in Ordnung für die sehr gute Qualität vom Essen. Die Karte ist etwas Wild aufgebaut, trotzdem findet man sich gut zurecht.
