Is there any burger place that's as good as this?! I love the vegetarian burgers here. Easy to eat as well unlike those giant burgers which have sauces oozing out from all sides. Best in Munich!

Delicious. Friendly service. The food was ready quickly.

The location of the restaurant is very excellent and the place is beautiful in the atmosphere. We ordered the meat burger once, it was delicious and the potatoes were normal, but the chicken burger was bad for me, it had an unpleasant taste, and the shame of the place is that the service is bad, no one is around you and they are late in ordering.

Wonderful ambience, like pretty much every Hans im Glück and very friendly service. There were five of us and we had special requests (some of us are vegetarian and a friend is pregnant) and it was all unproblematic. Our waiter took the time to please everyone when it came to the food. And although the shop was very busy, we received our drinks shortly after ordering and the food straight after. And it was really tasty and warm!

Worst Hans in luck I've visited. The orders either didn't come at all or came way too late (when we asked for the bill). The dessert was inedible. I also feel like my buddy from abroad paid way too much too. He had a citizen in the menu and a dessert and paid over €35. So a no go.

Very very tasty food, The service is outstanding. The waiters try to accommodate every request and are very attentive to empty drinks. The food came within 15 minutes, even though it was really busy.

Pretty decent burgers in the heart of Munich. They have a kind of menu with a burger + side + cocktail (with or without alcohol) that is quite worth it. The terrace is pleasant, because inside the place it is very hot in summer. The staff is very friendly and attentive.

Food was great. Service initially typically Bavarian (unfriendly, in my experience), but then very nice. It's very tight, a little more space would be great. I sat back to back, separated only by a plastic screen, from the person at the table behind us.

A busy restaurant in the heart of Munich. Friendly staff and good burgers. We waited about 30minutes for a table (with no prior booking), quite reasonable in this area. I wasn’t disappointed with anything but it’s not a restaurant I’m dying to go back to. Fair-ish prices and good food. A bit on the pricey end for what you get.

Slow but friendly service (understaffed), they gave the wrong burger to my company and forgot my Spiegelei. The burger meat tastes awesome and they have awesome drinks, though.

I have to admit that I had a prejudice against Hans in Glück. In general, I'm not a big burger fan. And not a fan of chains. Yesterday I was proven wrong. Very large selection of burgers 🍔, including vegetarian ones. Mine was with mountain cheese and tasted very good. The sweet potato fries were also very good. The portions could have been a little larger for me as a good eater. But that is the only criticism. I think the homemade barbecue sauce is excellent. The waitress was nice, very friendly, but wasn't really good at mental arithmetic. But that's not a big issue. It was very busy, but we were served quickly.

Ordered apple strudel with vanilla sauce was puny, for €7. There's more of McD's apple turnover. Benches were hard and uncomfortable

The food was great, came pretty quickly, and the staff was very friendly. But: The toilets for women are a disaster. If I had been there before dinner, I would have lost my appetite. Even if some guests contribute their extra, you should keep an eye on it. It works elsewhere too. Unfortunately for me this is a reason not to eat in the restaurant anymore.

We didn't want to walk that far to the restaurant in Isator because of the rain, so we stopped at Hans im Glück im Tal. We were assigned a place. The space was so cramped that you could feel the next guest behind you. The music playing in the background was the last thing. Only the bass could be heard. The order was completed quickly. The food was ok my fries were only lukewarm. The other portion was hot. We quickly finished our food and left. We will never visit this Hans im Glück again.

As burger chains go, pretty much as good as you'll get globally

An amazing hamburger with an amazing choices. Best option is the chicken hamburger.

The waiting time at the entrance is unbelievable, the staff walks past inattentively. If you have a system where people are supposed to wait for the invitation, standing near the entrance is a separate task, not just a random waiter who has to see us

Typical 'Hans im Glück' very tasty burgers, salad and bowl. Also very nice service and the usual nice atmosphere.

The food was too expensive. The pommes portion was negligible. The armchairs did not have backrests.

According to the chain, the food and service are first class. It's just that it has sacrificed a little of its good reputation so that it resembles an almost overcrowded beer garden. In my opinion, the comfort suffers from this. But that is a very subjective opinion

The portions are very small compared to Switzerland. Salad had virtually no sauce.

Was only there for drinks and finger food on a new years eve pub crawl. Not ideal for that , but the appetizers were pretty good. Good ambiance. A bit slow service but on new years eve its expected.

This place makes for a great experience, with a friendly atmosphere and excellent food. If you're in a group and looking for a big sit-down meal, this place is an excellent choice.

Came here for a late dinner. Took a little while for us to get seated. Our server was very polite and friendly. The food was absolutely amazing and the portions were a good size. The atmosphere was lovely and I really liked the music they played.

Overall solid place. Not the best burger I have had, but it was solid. Great service and atmosphere.

We didn’t even get in! We waited 10 minutes by the door, and nobody showed up to bring us to the table!

Waren heute Abend mal wieder im Hans im Glück im Tal… Waren mal wieder völlig zufrieden mit dem Essen und auch mit dem Personal. Ein paar Tische weiter saß ein junges Pärchen, die sich scheinbar über den Service beschwert hatten, weil sie unfreundlich gewesen wäre. Wir können das überhaupt nicht verstehen Sie war äußerst freundlich zu den Leuten. Hat lediglich darauf hingewiesen, dass sie jetzt gerade nicht kann und wenn sie ihren Service beendet hat, würde sie kommen und die Bestellungen aufnehmen für uns also ein ganz normaler Vorgang für die Leute scheinbar unannehmbar, dass man sie nicht sofort bedient hat, aber in einer Gaststätte, muss man halt auch mal warten können🤷‍♂️ Wir kommen sicher wieder!!

Maybe because I knew beforehand that Hans im Glück is riches to rags story by the Grimms Brothers, I was reluctant to enter this place. But then I knew I didn't have a lump of gold that would be tricked into bartering, so I mustered courage and went in. Geissbock mit Brioche was my burger of choice for the evening. It was lecker. The service was prompt and friendly - something that is a rare attribute in the Marienplatz area. The burger was priced reasonably. The place had nice and innovative decor. Now that I've gained confidence, next time I'll be trying some more items off the menu.

Warm atmosphere, delicious burgers but the best was the waiters ^^ They also serve own-branded sauces which are quite tasty: glükliche fritten (tastes like mayonnaise), orangen senf (like mustard), würzige grill (like bbq) and tomaten ketchup. Ps: We were there 20 mins to midnight on Saturday and hopefully kitchen was open until midnight.

Leider war das Personal nicht wirklich auf Zack, sind anschließend dann wo anders was trinken gegangen.

Auch wir 60+Ehepaar haben uns ausgesprochen wohl gefühlt. Sehr guter und aufmerksamer Service, super Ambiente, tolle Musik, Essen und Getränke perfekt. Bitte weiter so, wir kommen sicher wieder wenn wir in München sind Andrea und Peter

War sehr nett hier. Hatten einen sehr freundlichen und aufgeweckten Kellner mit locken. Kommen jedenfalls gerne wieder.

Eine Restaurant-Kette die bekannt ist für Burger in verschiedensten Variationen. Ich hab mich für einen Burger aus Briocheteig mit Chicken, Ziegenkäse und Preiselbeersauce entschieden. Dazu einen heissen Tee da es an diesem Tag sehr kalt war. Bedienung war locker und fröhlich. Mein Vorschlag: wenn viele Menschen hier konsumieren dann WC häufiger kontrollieren.
