I ordered a burger and fries; the fries arrived after about 15 minutes. My colleagues waited a long time for a drink, which only came after I asked for it. The atmosphere was rather small and not very cozy.

The food and service were very good. The burger was excellent, and the homemade iced tea was just as good. I'll gladly come back when I'm in the area.

I found the service to be very, very slow and inattentive. The ambiance was okay; there were children present, but it was generally quite quiet, which was pleasant. The tables were well-placed for conversation and suitable for groups. Unfortunately, the chairs felt uncomfortable, and most of us ended up standing up. We didn't enjoy the food very much. Everyone thought the fries were extremely salty. The flavor of the other dishes seemed weak to me as well. We were particularly disappointed with the drinks. It felt like the cocktails contained almost no alcohol or high-quality juice; they tasted like sugar water. The wine spritzer also tasted like sour water to us—perhaps the wine simply wasn't good quality? For the price we paid, we wouldn't go back.

Everything for the hot drink. The food, service, and atmosphere are also really very good.

There’s a lot of vegetarian/vegan awareness, also for gluten free buns. Loved it, would come back. At around 18:30 it starts to get packed so id make a reservation.

The restaurant has a really nice interior, and the atmosphere is perfect. We didn't order burgers, although they have a wide selection, but everything still tasted very good. The nuggets were completely vegan, and many other items on the menu are also vegan. There's a wide selection of drinks, and overall, I really enjoyed it here and would recommend it.

I ordered today via Uber Eats from Hans im Glück on Königsplatz. Unfortunately, the bag of fries included in the meal (price approx. €5.90) ​​was only half full. For that price, I expect a decent portion – which was disappointing. I then called the restaurant to report a complaint. At first, no one was available, and when a young lady finally answered the phone, the conversation was unfortunately anything but professional. Instead of simply taking my concern or passing it on to the supervisor, she argued with me and told me to speak in a "normal tone" – even though I was neither loud nor abusive, just clearly annoyed. Overall, very unprofessional customer service and a disappointing portion for the price. Hence, only one star.

The burgers are good and offer good value for money, but nothing exceptional. It really bothers me that at this restaurant, tipping is no longer seen as a kind gesture from the customer, but rather, you're actively asked/requested to give one when paying. I also don't ask if the restaurant would like to give me a free dessert.

We only drank something, we didn't eat anything

Without a reservation, the four of us got a table around 5 p.m. Otherwise, the place wasn't particularly busy. The food was really good, the fries were perhaps a bit cold. But other than that, I can't say anything negative about it. What really bothered us was the service! In this case, it was the blonde employee who treated not only us but also other guests in a condescending and arrogant manner. Although everything outside was free and the tables were ready, several guests were turned away on the grounds that it was not possible to sit outside at that time (it was sunny and warm). We ordered the same burger twice, but one was only half the size of the other. When we asked, we were told, "You were just lucky; I can happily bring you another one just as small." Sorry, but that's just not acceptable! Especially since I know that on my other visits, the burger was always "large." As I have experience in the restaurant industry myself, I place great value on customer service and know how important it is to make guests feel good. The young gentleman and another brunette employee, who also served, were polite and friendly. It would be nice if they treated guests more kindly in the future. Because the food is usually always worth a visit!

We went to the Hans im Glück restaurant at Luisenstrasse 14 after a movie on September 12, 2025. The wait for drinks was very long. Since we had a voucher book, we were told that the manager wouldn't honor the vouchers for cocktails. When we raised a complaint, an exception was suddenly made. The food was good as usual, the service itself was friendly, but as mentioned, the drinks took a very long time to arrive.

Thank you for the friendly and fast service! The food and drinks were delicious. The atmosphere was cozy, and the music wasn't too loud. It was a great place to relax and enjoy your dinner in peace after a strenuous shift. We'd be happy to come back!

We wanted to eat here on Sunday evening (8:15 p.m.). According to the opening hours, the restaurant is open until 10:00 p.m., but we were turned away with the statement that they only serve takeout food. This is very disappointing for guests who have consciously chosen to dine here. Clear communication about early kitchen closings would be welcome. Unfortunately, this doesn't make guests feel welcome.

I wouldn't visit this place again. I wasn't impressed by the service or the food.

Fast and friendly service, hamburger was ok but nothing special. Unfortunately it was quite cold too. The salad wasn’t fresh and the coleslaw tasted strange - not like a typical coleslaw. Nice seating outside, special decoration inside.

The atmosphere is as always at Hans im Glück. You know what you're getting. Froozies were available (not always the case at other restaurants in the chain!). The food was solid; service was unfortunately a bit inattentive.

This is a great spot to hang out and enjoy a burger. I had the smashed burger, which was delicious, and the chilli-loaded fries were decent. However, the hot chocolate was a letdown, it wasn’t hot at all. Aside from that, everything else was enjoyable. The service was warm and friendly, which made the experience even better.

Cozy atmosphere, delicious burgers

It was my first time at Hans im Glück on Königsplatz and I was pleasantly surprised. The place is beautifully decorated and you immediately feel at home. Service was very friendly and fast, even though it was busy. My burger was delicious, and the sides were also good. My family and I also loved the selection of vegetarian and vegan options. It's definitely great value for money considering the location. I would eat there again in a heartbeat.

Top burger joint – highly recommended! We visited for the first time and were not disappointed. The selection is creative, from classic cheeseburgers to vegan versions with homemade patties. Everything is fresh, perfectly cooked, and made with high-quality ingredients. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the staff is super friendly and attentive. I particularly liked the open kitchen – you can see that the work here is done with love. The value for money is also absolutely excellent. We'll definitely be back!

Unfortunately, our visit to Hans im Glück in Munich was disappointing. The service was unfriendly, and from the very beginning, we felt like we were more of an intrusion than welcome. Our order was not only late, but also incorrect—and instead of an apology, we received only rude comments. Questions were met with annoyance, and overall, there was no attempt at hospitality. For a restaurant that places so much emphasis on ambiance and concept, the service was unfortunately a complete failure. We won't be back anytime soon.

They require a reservation. The lettuce on the burger had a broken tip, I guess they didn't notice.

Oh, what a glorious feast was prepared for us! The place, well situated and charming, made our hearts rejoice. The servants—so friendly and honest—welcomed us with such warmth that even a frost dragon would melt. The food? A feast for the tongue and stomach, as if the cook herself had reached into Mother Nature's spice chamber. Truly, we will soon return to this blessed place—with growling bellies and joyful spirits.

Good evening, I was at your restaurant last night on the recommendation of a friend who spoke very positively about your restaurant. And yes, the burgers, drinks, and location were really top-notch. But the experience was completely ruined by serious organizational deficiencies and a blatant lack of respect for customers. We ordered three meals, plus a burger and a salad. However, the bill included an additional burger and a portion of fries, which we never received. On top of that, we were charged separately for VAT – I've never experienced that in any other restaurant. I'm deeply disappointed. If that's your idea of ​​customer service, you have a serious problem. I await a response from management. I'm enclosing the receipt as proof. It's a disgrace how you treat paying guests.

I'm generally a big fan of Hans im Glück and have had very good experiences many times, both in person and via delivery. What I received this time from the Königsplatz branch was all the more sobering. I ordered a meal: a burger with a double patty, fries, and a drink. Upon unpacking, I noticed that everything was ice cold. Not just a little chilled, but really cold, as if the food had been sitting somewhere for a very long time before it was even picked up. The packaging was open at the top, which probably caused the whole thing to cool down even more. The burger itself was a real disappointment. Extremely dry, with almost no toppings—a single leaf of wilted lettuce, a thin slice of tomato, a tiny cucumber, and a blob of sauce that had seeped into the bun and was simply nowhere to be found. Between the two slices of meat: nothing. No sauce, no cheese, no flavor. The cheese was crooked, barely melted, and much too thin. For a burger with a double patty, it was a surprisingly empty and dry affair. The fries were also weak... the bag was only half full, full of small, hard bits, the kind you'd normally find at the bottom of a deep fryer. Dry, floury, and flavorless. Considering that fries are the cheapest item on the entire menu, I wonder why they're so stingy with them. The drink was lukewarm – also unacceptable. Particularly annoying: I tried to reach someone at the branch by phone for over an hour to resolve the issue, but to no avail. I couldn't get through, no one was available. I know that Hans im Glück can do much better. But what I got here was the opposite of what you'd expect for €20-30. This branch is significantly dragging down the brand's image, and that's a shame. The way things went was not only disappointing, but unacceptable in this form. And before the usual standard response comes along, asking me to please fill out some survey on the website: No, I won't. I've formulated my feedback here clearly and in detail. I don't see the point in investing extra time in another online survey to help a company that hasn't given me anything back in this case—neither good food nor effective customer service. So please, no automated referrals to any forms.

It was the worst restaurant I've ever been to. The service is terrible. You have to wait a long time for a server. But the biggest surprise was the mixed vegetable salad, which consisted of rotten and spoiled vegetables that smelled bad. We asked the server to replace it, but he said the delivery guy brings ready-made salads like that. We then asked to deduct the spoiled salad from the bill, but he said I couldn't because you already ordered it. The prices at the restaurant are very high, considering the food isn't fresh and the service is "zero." I don't recommend going to this restaurant if you care about your health!!!

I've been to Hans im Glück several times now and have been absolutely thrilled every time! The burgers not only have creative and high-quality toppings, but they also taste fantastic - whether with meat, vegetarian or vegan. I am particularly impressed by the great selection of homemade sauces and the delicious side dishes. The ambience is something very special: modern, cozy and furnished with great attention to detail - you immediately feel at home. The service was always friendly, attentive and quick, even though the store was busy. An all-round successful concept with quality, taste and atmosphere - Hans im Glück has definitely become one of my favorite shops!

Update 2025: The drinks have now become more of a focus in the menu. Probably because of the higher profit margin. The food, on the other hand, is more for the side. Small fries solo now for 6€90, but to justify it in different flavors and sauces with side dishes. To reorder you had to be quite forceful. The final cash was taken 30 minutes before curfew. The burgers don't really offer a real alternative either. After all, this is one of the few places in the area where you can sit comfortably. 2020: Became quite expensive recently. But then the quality would also be saved. The fries e.g. B. Instead of longer potato sticks, there are now almost only small, but unpeeled, wedges. Unfortunately, there is no other casual restaurant to be found in the surrounding area.
