We dined there with 12 people, including two babies. Extremely attentive staff. Perfect service. Great food. We'll definitely be back.

While the burgers and fries are good here. Be aware that they charge way too much for water. We did not check the price of tap water when we ordered and they charged 3,90 a glass. Our waters were 1/3 of our lunch bill. The food is good but I consider this a shaddy tactic to charge so much for tap water.

Very nice ambiance, and what we particularly liked was that we were seated at a slightly secluded table, which gave us the feeling of being alone. Very good menu, and everything tasted perfect. One small point would be that the service could perhaps come by a little more often.

Very friendly staff, the food was prepared quickly, and the prices are absolutely reasonable. The food was good overall, and you can choose your own sauces right at your table. Parking is available in the nearby parking garage. Overall, a positive impression – hence the four stars.

Ate there once, ordered twice, and was disappointed three times. While eating at the restaurant, there was a mistake with the fries, which can happen, and I didn't see it as a problem. However, when I ordered, I received a completely wrong burger that I hadn't ordered. And today I ordered for pickup – left on time so I could enjoy the warm food. Picked up at 5:57 p.m. – after about 10 minutes of waiting in the restaurant, they noticed that the chicken was empty (Friday at around 6 p.m. on a holiday). Awkward place (except for the receptionists, who were very friendly).

We've been waiting for an hour for our food: 4 burgers and 4 sides. To make matters worse, the chef realized he didn't have certain ingredients. The taste was ultimately below McDonald's or Burger King standards. My Alsatian burger had a dollop of cranberries on it, and there was no trace of Camembert at all. Never again.

COCKTAILS or APERITIF Burger price + menu price I had the CHEESE & BACON (beef patty, burger cheese, & bacon) with the gold fries. For a COCKTAIL, my girlfriend ordered a PORNSTAR MARTINI!? Without passion fruit (Wikipedia) and an ouzo shot glass of Prosecco. (A little disappointed 😞) My personal opinion!

There was room in the restaurant, but they turned us away because there were only four people working in the entire restaurant. They want to pay little for work in the restaurant industry—and this is the result. Bravo! 👏🏻

Beautifully decorated, as always at Hans im Glück. Delicious food. Everything we've ordered so far has been super fresh and delicious. The homemade drinks/thirst quenchers/cocktails are also top-notch! You can sit comfortably both inside and outside, and the restrooms are stylishly clean. There are also plenty of parasols outside, so there are plenty of shaded spots in the summer. I'd be happy to go back anytime, and it's also cool that the Schlemmerblock restaurant works so well here. The service staff was also on the ball: a nice young lady who, even though she was alone with another person, asked questions several times and was ready to take our order so quickly while we were still trying to decide. She happily came back a short time later at the perfect time.

We love this place! And the restaurant manager must love all the staff. Incredibly kind and accommodating. He spared no effort and spent 10 minutes on the phone discussing my food preferences. I loved it so much that I'd love to apply for a job there. Besides, the food there has never disappointed me. Lots of love 🫶🏽

Burger was meh. Hamburger patty reminded me of a frozen patty you'd buy at the grocery store and cook on a stove top. They masked it with different types of toppings and sauces. The red flag was having it in front of me 3 minutes after placing my order. My wife did like her salad, and the service was very good. Just not a very good hamburger.

We ate there last night. We sat down at the table shortly after 7 p.m. Shortly after 8 p.m., we were asked for the first time what we wanted to order. Waiting over an hour for service is unacceptable. No apologies, nothing. The girls had completely lost track of what was going on. That was, until the boss apparently arrived. After that, they could have walked faster. The worst part was, it wasn't even that busy. If it hadn't been my wife's birthday, I would have left after half an hour.

Die Lokation ist toll, besonders - mit den Birkenbäumen, nicht so langweil wie sonst. Das Essen war auch sehr lecker. Ich habe einen Salat bestellt mit veganen „Hähnchen Sticks“. Würde ich wieder besuchen 🌺

We visited Hans im Glück for the first time yesterday with our gift card and were immediately impressed by the unusual and beautiful decor. We made a reservation and were given one of the nicer tables because one became available. The consistently super friendly staff was very thoughtful. Our non-alcoholic cocktail was very fruity, and the burgers we ordered, along with sweet potato fries and coleslaw, completely won us over; everything was absolutely delicious! A good place for dinner, the burgers are not crazy but they are very good. The service was very friendly and even the waitress spoke Spanish, a strange thing in the city, very happy with the treatment and the experience.

In our trip to Kaiserslautern we found this place where we ordered the lunch menu with Feuerwerk and Vollmundig hamburgers. Taste is amazing and the personal is very nice. English menu is available. Totally recommended!

This place offers top quality burgers with really good taste. They have their homemade sauces that taste different and better. I also tried salad bowls, they are good too. Both vegetarian and meat dishes are available.

The service was absolutely terrible he should be fired on the spot. This is my girlfriend’s favorite place and we have come here multiple times and all our food and services have been perfect except for when we have this server. He is an older gentleman but I couldn’t get his name. If you see this man as the primary server just turn around and try something else.

The food itself is always great. Lately, however, it has been noticed more often that time management doesn't seem to work very well. Either you're there, you're served straight away and you get your food very quickly, or it's like today. We were able to place the order very quickly and then waited -an hour- for our food and then only got half of it until I complained after 10 minutes that the other half was still missing. There is definitely still room for improvement... But the food is always delicious and the service was also very friendly and took action immediately when I complained.

Long waiting time for a "burger" (1.5 hours)! Unfortunately, the taste wasn't convincing either. It's a shame, because the ambience was actually convincing...

The waitress takes the order and then she is no longer visible. It is not pointed out when ordering that it will take longer. If you ask, they say I don't want to lie to you for at least another 20 minutes. The service urgently needs training. There is also not enough cutlery at the table

Ordered burgers and picked them up ourselves. It was okay, but it didn't taste really good, starting with the rolls, which had far too much flour stuck to them, extra bacon was hard and dry, onions were mushy, western sauce didn't taste like western sauce, more like mayonnaise with a little ketchup . The meat was quite good, but what's the point if all the other ingredients are not good. We don't order anything from there anymore.

We were there on St. Nicholas Day. It was relatively empty. And yet the atmosphere was cozy and you felt comfortable. The waiter with the darker hair and curls was very friendly, humorous and helpful. Even though we had so many extra requests, the order was completely correct and arrived quite quickly. The food tasted very, very good and they are actually quite special burgers, with the ingredients going well together (unlike other burger shops that rely on extravagance). You can also change the patties, which is great. The large portion of fries is about 3 people. Something like that could possibly be on the menu. And the benches could use a little thicker cushioning. :) Overall it is a very nice restaurant where you can eat well. However, you have to mention the slightly higher price, which probably means that you don't come as often as you would like. That's why one star was deducted to "excellent". Otherwise, clear recommendation from me.

Wir waren am Nikolaustag dort. Es war relativ leer. Und dennoch war das Ambiente gemütlich und man hat sich wohl gefühlt. Der Kellner mit den dunkleren Haaren und Locken war sehr freundlich, humorvoll und hilfsbereit. Obwohl wir so viele Extrawünsche hatten, war die Bestellung komplett richtig und kam recht schnell. Das Essen hat sehr sehr gut geschmeckt und es sind eigentlich recht besondere Burger, wobei die Zutaten gut zusammen passen (anders als in anderen Burgerläden, die auf Extravaganz setzen). Man kann auch die Patties wechseln, was mega ist. Die große Portion Pommes ist etwa für 3 Personen. Sowas könnte eventuell noch auf der Karte dabei stehen. Und die Sitzbänke könnten ein dickeres Polster vertragen :) Im Großen und Ganzen ist es ein sehr schönes Restaurant, wo man gut Essen kann. Jedoch muss man den etwas höheren Preis erwähnen, was wohl dazu führt, dass man nicht so oft kommt, wie man eventuell gerne wollen würde. Dennoch Empfehlung von mir! 🫶🏼

Super nice ambience, great burgers and fantastic cocktails, very harmonious

We had to spontaneously reschedule a Christmas party and got a table for 13 people straight away and without any problem, which is not easy for me to take for granted considering that Sunday evening was prime time. The table was already prepared for us even though we had called just 3 minutes in advance. The food was super tasty and it was incredibly quick, we all got the food at the same time. The best thing for me personally was the waitress, you could see how much she enjoyed her job. She was super friendly and asked several times if there was anything else she could do for us. A really great evening, many thanks to the Hans im Glück team in Kaiserslautern.

What I found nice are the following things: - fair trade coffee - Oat milk at no extra charge - Children's menu - Paper straw, card paper made from sustainable wood - Ketchup and Co at the table (selection and less waste, vegan) What I would improve: - Reduce volume through ambience - Service seems chaotic/unsystematic... - Food should be served warm. Unfortunately this wasn't the case today, but there was a lot going on. One person's fries were cold and no longer enjoyable. We'd love to come back

My visit to Hans im Glück was overall okay, but unfortunately nothing more than that. The atmosphere in the restaurant is appealing, with the typical wood and birch decoration, which gives a cozy impression. However, the burgers themselves were disappointing. For a restaurant that specializes in burgers, I expected more. The buns seemed like standard fare, and the meat had the typical taste of frozen goods, without the juicy freshness you want in a premium burger. The side dishes, such as the fries, were also average and not particularly crispy. Service was friendly but a bit slow even though the restaurant wasn't full. Overall, not a bad visit, but for the prices I just expected more quality. Okay for a quick burger, but not a highlight that I would necessarily recommend.

The food is always great at Hans im Glück nationwide. In KL, it's served super quickly, which is probably due to the store being unfortunately often very empty. Fair prices. Solid cocktails. Due to the design, seating is uncomfortable when sitting for long periods of time.

Editing: On Saturday October 19th we were there again. The branch manager recognized me and apologized and explained the reasons to me in a plausible way. The food and service were great. The food came quickly. It took a while until someone came to pay. The ambience looks great, but the seats are uncomfortable. Old: We were Monday September 2nd. arrived around 9:30 p.m. The branch manager asked for forgiveness for having already sent employees home due to a lack of customers and unfortunately can no longer offer us food. However, he tried to suggest us an alternative. On Wednesday September 11th We arrived around 8:15 p.m. and everything was closed and dark. No sign, note or anything similar explaining why it is closed. I understood it the first time. It was a shame for us, but it was ok because it was already late. The second time the restaurant should have been open for over 2 hours. In my opinion that goes too far. If no customers come that late during the week, then the opening hours have to be adjusted. It can't be the case that you always find yourself in front of a closed door, as is the case in other recessions.

Despite the very large group and the restaurant being full, the service was friendly and courteous. The food arrived super quickly, warm and delicious. The place was super cozy and unexpected. Even though it's a chain, there is attention to detail here, even if it's just sayings on glasses or the sugar.

Nicely decorated restaurant, the benches are a bit uncomfortable and hard. The burger was delicious and so were the fries. Price/performance ratio is a bit expensive... I think around €18-20 for a burger and fries is a bit “hard”, otherwise it was a pleasant stay.

We were served quickly, the food came quickly and it was good. However, the cleanliness on the floor leaves a lot to be desired. Leftover food, napkins and chewing gum were under or next to our table, which didn't make the stay very pleasant. Unfortunately, our room wasn't cleared away for a long time and we had to request the espresso and the bill twice. Of course this isn't a problem when there's a lot going on, but this wasn't the case. The employees had enough time to talk to each other, but not to the guests.
