Since the new boss arrived, we really enjoy coming back to Hans im Glück

The service was absolutely terrible he should be fired on the spot. This is my girlfriend’s favorite place and we have come here multiple times and all our food and services have been perfect except for when we have this server. He is an older gentleman but I couldn’t get his name. If you see this man as the primary server just turn around and try something else.

The food itself is always great. Lately, however, it has been noticed more often that time management doesn't seem to work very well. Either you're there, you're served straight away and you get your food very quickly, or it's like today. We were able to place the order very quickly and then waited -an hour- for our food and then only got half of it until I complained after 10 minutes that the other half was still missing. There is definitely still room for improvement... But the food is always delicious and the service was also very friendly and took action immediately when I complained.

Atmosphere is very nice and relaxed, the employees are also very friendly and the food tastes very, very good.

Very very bad staff totally incompetent, food was as good as cold I'd rather drive 30 kilometers further to the next Hans im Glück. At least they get something done with so little activity. So much money spent for nothing

Once and never again! Had to wait 1 1/2 hours for three burgers and fries. The only positive thing was that service was friendly, although most guests expressed their displeasure

The waitress takes the order and then she is no longer visible. It is not pointed out when ordering that it will take longer. If you ask, they say I don't want to lie to you for at least another 20 minutes. The service urgently needs training. There is also not enough cutlery at the table

Ordered burgers and picked them up ourselves. It was okay, but it didn't taste really good, starting with the rolls, which had far too much flour stuck to them, extra bacon was hard and dry, onions were mushy, western sauce didn't taste like western sauce, more like mayonnaise with a little ketchup . The meat was quite good, but what's the point if all the other ingredients are not good. We don't order anything from there anymore.

Wir waren am Nikolaustag dort. Es war relativ leer. Und dennoch war das Ambiente gemütlich und man hat sich wohl gefühlt. Der Kellner mit den dunkleren Haaren und Locken war sehr freundlich, humorvoll und hilfsbereit. Obwohl wir so viele Extrawünsche hatten, war die Bestellung komplett richtig und kam recht schnell. Das Essen hat sehr sehr gut geschmeckt und es sind eigentlich recht besondere Burger, wobei die Zutaten gut zusammen passen (anders als in anderen Burgerläden, die auf Extravaganz setzen). Man kann auch die Patties wechseln, was mega ist. Die große Portion Pommes ist etwa für 3 Personen. Sowas könnte eventuell noch auf der Karte dabei stehen. Und die Sitzbänke könnten ein dickeres Polster vertragen :) Im Großen und Ganzen ist es ein sehr schönes Restaurant, wo man gut Essen kann. Jedoch muss man den etwas höheren Preis erwähnen, was wohl dazu führt, dass man nicht so oft kommt, wie man eventuell gerne wollen würde. Dennoch Empfehlung von mir! 🫶🏼

We were there on St. Nicholas Day. It was relatively empty. And yet the atmosphere was cozy and you felt comfortable. The waiter with the darker hair and curls was very friendly, humorous and helpful. Even though we had so many extra requests, the order was completely correct and arrived quite quickly. The food tasted very, very good and they are actually quite special burgers, with the ingredients going well together (unlike other burger shops that rely on extravagance). You can also change the patties, which is great. The large portion of fries is about 3 people. Something like that could possibly be on the menu. And the benches could use a little thicker cushioning. :) Overall it is a very nice restaurant where you can eat well. However, you have to mention the slightly higher price, which probably means that you don't come as often as you would like. That's why one star was deducted to "excellent". Otherwise, clear recommendation from me.

Super nice ambience, great burgers and fantastic cocktails, very harmonious

We had to spontaneously reschedule a Christmas party and got a table for 13 people straight away and without any problem, which is not easy for me to take for granted considering that Sunday evening was prime time. The table was already prepared for us even though we had called just 3 minutes in advance. The food was super tasty and it was incredibly quick, we all got the food at the same time. The best thing for me personally was the waitress, you could see how much she enjoyed her job. She was super friendly and asked several times if there was anything else she could do for us. A really great evening, many thanks to the Hans im Glück team in Kaiserslautern.

What I found nice are the following things: - fair trade coffee - Oat milk at no extra charge - Children's menu - Paper straw, card paper made from sustainable wood - Ketchup and Co at the table (selection and less waste, vegan) What I would improve: - Reduce volume through ambience - Service seems chaotic/unsystematic... - Food should be served warm. Unfortunately this wasn't the case today, but there was a lot going on. One person's fries were cold and no longer enjoyable. We'd love to come back

My visit to Hans im Glück was overall okay, but unfortunately nothing more than that. The atmosphere in the restaurant is appealing, with the typical wood and birch decoration, which gives a cozy impression. However, the burgers themselves were disappointing. For a restaurant that specializes in burgers, I expected more. The buns seemed like standard fare, and the meat had the typical taste of frozen goods, without the juicy freshness you want in a premium burger. The side dishes, such as the fries, were also average and not particularly crispy. Service was friendly but a bit slow even though the restaurant wasn't full. Overall, not a bad visit, but for the prices I just expected more quality. Okay for a quick burger, but not a highlight that I would necessarily recommend.

The food is always great at Hans im Glück nationwide. In KL, it's served super quickly, which is probably due to the store being unfortunately often very empty. Fair prices. Solid cocktails. Due to the design, seating is uncomfortable when sitting for long periods of time.

Editing: On Saturday October 19th we were there again. The branch manager recognized me and apologized and explained the reasons to me in a plausible way. The food and service were great. The food came quickly. It took a while until someone came to pay. The ambience looks great, but the seats are uncomfortable. Old: We were Monday September 2nd. arrived around 9:30 p.m. The branch manager asked for forgiveness for having already sent employees home due to a lack of customers and unfortunately can no longer offer us food. However, he tried to suggest us an alternative. On Wednesday September 11th We arrived around 8:15 p.m. and everything was closed and dark. No sign, note or anything similar explaining why it is closed. I understood it the first time. It was a shame for us, but it was ok because it was already late. The second time the restaurant should have been open for over 2 hours. In my opinion that goes too far. If no customers come that late during the week, then the opening hours have to be adjusted. It can't be the case that you always find yourself in front of a closed door, as is the case in other recessions.

Despite the very large group and the restaurant being full, the service was friendly and courteous. The food arrived super quickly, warm and delicious. The place was super cozy and unexpected. Even though it's a chain, there is attention to detail here, even if it's just sayings on glasses or the sugar.

Nicely decorated restaurant, the benches are a bit uncomfortable and hard. The burger was delicious and so were the fries. Price/performance ratio is a bit expensive... I think around €18-20 for a burger and fries is a bit “hard”, otherwise it was a pleasant stay.

We were served quickly, the food came quickly and it was good. However, the cleanliness on the floor leaves a lot to be desired. Leftover food, napkins and chewing gum were under or next to our table, which didn't make the stay very pleasant. Unfortunately, our room wasn't cleared away for a long time and we had to request the espresso and the bill twice. Of course this isn't a problem when there's a lot going on, but this wasn't the case. The employees had enough time to talk to each other, but not to the guests.

The food was very tasty. The sweet potato fries were super crispy. The service was very good, we received our food within 10 minutes.

Delicious food! The food was prepared quickly and the service was extremely friendly. I found it particularly nice that the team also took the time to have a nice conversation. The 'Moskito with shot' was particularly tasty ;-) and really impressed me! The entire ambience and service make a visit to Hans im Glück a truly pleasant experience. Gladly again!

Great food, great ambience and attentive service. What more could you want 😊 We ate vegetarian meals there. This is highly recommended. With the menu price you get a burger, drink, side dish and hot drink for under €20.

Were there for the first time today. Unfortunately very uncomfortable benches outside, without cushions. The food took a very long time, even though there was hardly any activity, and was lukewarm. For a burger without a bun, I paid the full price of €11 on the grounds that I would like more salad. Fries were very dry and dark. It's a shame I can't add a photo here. I was very disappointed. Price-performance ratio is absolutely not right. I actually made a reservation for another day. But I canceled it. I won't go there anymore.

We were eating here on September 8th, 2024 and there were mice in the restaurant. We saw two pieces! The behavior of the employees was inappropriate when we reported this.

We wanted to eat at Hans im Glück Kaiserslautern today at 5:15 p.m. Actually it should be open!!! Unfortunately it was closed. Very, very annoying if you have a long journey. No information on the door or on the website, even according to the telephone announcement it should be open from 5 p.m. Will be over again at 7 p.m., CLOSED!!! NOT VERY CUSTOMER FRIENDLY.

I show up at 1400 to eat lunch as I was told by the staff a few weeks ago this restaurant should be opened again for lunch after the construction. Tables are already outsite in front of the restaurant. The website says it is opened and there is a sign at the door with the hours saying it should be opened. If you guys are closed, please UPDATE the times on google, your website, and put a sign on the door. There used to be a sign saying you open at 1700 but since it is gone, I would expect you to open to your hours as advertised.

Beautiful ambience! Friendly staff We got a place even without a reservation. The prices are completely fine. Very good selection, the burgers are really great! But the drinks are also very good. (Thirst holes: blueberries & blackcurrants an absolute highlight drink)

Typical fast food restaurant with a correspondingly diverse selection of burgers. Burger type "pepper bag" for €12, French fries cost an additional €4.90, so a lot of money for quick meals.

If you wanted to eat delicious burgers, you got it. Dips as well. 5€50 for the drinks is definitely too expensive. Very attentive, friendly service rounds off this evening.

The benches and tables outside were not very inviting, no cushions or anything similar on the wooden benches. Unfortunately it took a long time until the drinks arrived. The food would have been good if it had been served warm. Unfortunately disappointing and not recommended.

Today we went to Hans im Glück as a bachelorette party. The food was very good and we didn't have to wait long. The service (a young, nice man) was totally friendly and accommodating. You rarely see that today. So it was a really nice stay and we can only recommend it.

Everything was reserved at lunchtime on Pentecost Sunday, and luckily we had reserved too. Very tasty and despite the restaurant being full, the staff was friendly and well organized. And the food came relatively quickly too.

Not only the food is amazing, but it is not as expensive as other places, I love it, we got vegan vegan burger and it was great.

The quality has deteriorated a lot. There were four of us there, the burgers were all lukewarm. Fries ok. I had the chicken burger with goat cheese, I've had it years ago. However, there was still real chicken breast fillet on the burger, now it's spongy pressed meat with an indefinable consistency and shape. The beef patties have shrunk quite a bit. Too expensive for the quality. A pity.

Food top. But on a Sunday, at full capacity, TWO service staff is simply an imposition, both for the guests and the poor girls themselves. And please turn on the air conditioning, it's so hot in there. And it's not even summer yet.

I celebrated my 18th here, everything was great, I can't complain :)

I was pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. We were looking for somewhere to eat near the Pfalz theater and chose this restaurant to try. They have a wide variety of hamburgers and also vegetarian burgers. I had the Vollmundig burger. It has mushrooms, cooked onions, lettuce and sauce. They have several types of buns and we chose the sourdough bun. The bun stayed together and didn't disintegrate when i was eating. The other burger we ate was the veggie wolpertinger. It's nice and spicy and was rather good. Outside of the normal drinks we has a mango-Minze thirst quencher cocktail (non alcoholic). It was also very good. The chili cheese fries were good. What I liked about them is the cheese isn't just on the top, but mixed throughout. The croud was a lot younger than we are, and I'm not a fan of medium-loud music when I'm eating, but overall it was a pleasant dining experience. The food filled us up, and the portion size is spot on. If you're looking for a good burger, I'd recommend stopping in.

Went with a group of colleagues and had OUTSTANDING friendly service. Our group got bigger and bigger and we were allowed to change tables to bigger once several times, no issue at all. The food was good and we were served at the same time. Great experience!

There are full stars from me. Delicious food, great service and nice atmosphere. Fast, tasty, friendly, clean, super kid friendly and the vegan options have continued to grow since our last visit. We are already looking forward to the next visit.

The food and ambience are harmonious. It has rather a small menu. The prices are in the middle price segment. Unfortunately, we waited over an hour for our food to arrive after ordering, even though it wasn't very busy. In general, the service was rather leisurely, so everyone had to put up with long waiting times.
