This place is great! They have added craft beers to their beer fridge and on tap. It's a little pricey but makes the place pretty awesome!

Super chill atmosphere. Good drinks. Decent food

All the service staff were super friendly, some German-speaking and some English. The food was ready quickly, you didn't have to wait long (not even between the starter and the main course). The portions are nice and big. The burgers are large, which makes them a bit unwieldy, but the taste makes up for it. The atmosphere is great, there are even games that you could play while you wait.

We found this place by googling "restaurants near me" and we are so glad!!! Absolutely loved everything about it and the people are so nice. We ordered the Bacon Jammer burger with onion rings. My husband and always split meals as not to waste food and money. My husband told our server we were going to split the meal. When he served our burger and onion rings, they had cut the burger in half, placed it on a separate place along with half of the onion rings. We have never had ANY place to do that for us. Usually the most they will do is bring an extra plate and some times they don't even do that. The burger was GREAT! I'm usually not a fan of smashed burgers because they are usually hard and dry but this one was neither one. It was juicy and cooked just right. The onion rights are the best I have since my grandfather closed his cafe over 40 years ago. They have very interesting burgers that we want to try next. They have a burger challenge that you can read about on Facebook. They do have outside seating but it was closed for the winter. We can't wait to go back and sit in there courtyard. We definitely recommend this restaurant and most definitely will go back the first chance we get.

The food was absolutely amazing. We opted for takeout since I have two kids under two. One thing we noticed, though, was the heat buildup inside the restaurant when it gets crowded. I was sweating while waiting for the food!

Smash and Dash Burger is a hidden gem! The cute aesthetic instantly catches your eye, and the modern bathrooms are a pleasant surprise. As for the food, the Fuego Smash Burger is quite literally "fuego"—packed with flavor and absolutely delicious. I also tried the Gin Basil Smash, which was different in the best way—refreshing and sassy! The customer service was pristine, with Peter, our waiter, going above and beyond to make our dining experience enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Sometimes you just need a good burger fix… great burgers, the fuego is nice- not crazy spicy (it’s Germany…) yet flavorful & the crispy onion rings… Friendly servers, clean restaurant & the lady’s bathroom is a fun surprise. 😅

Smash and Dash has amaaaaaaazingly delicious Burgers, Fries, Onion Rings and more! I highly recommend it!!!!! My family drives gladly 45 Minutes to enjoy Smash and Dash.. It is simply our FAVE! The customer service is amazing as well.. You always get greeted with a smile and everyone makes sure that you are well taken care of! If we could give more than 5 stars, we would!!

Wow, this has been the best burger we have found in Europe. If you are longing for an American style burger this is the place. Can you find “gourmet” burgers elsewhere? Yes, but from what we’ve found is the patty’s are way too thick, and if they aren’t seasoned well it’s unappetizing. It’s just a brick of meat. Smash and Dash does uses the smash concept and it works. The meat has an outer crust to it that makes the burger texturally very pleasing. We had tater tots with our burgers. Those tots would make Napoleon Dynamite proud. Definitely recommend this place.

Great atmosphere and amazing food.

Clo, Chantal, and Peter have alway been incredibly polite and friendly. The burgers are the best in the KMC, and that Maple Bacon Oldfashion is ridiculously good. Not only do my wife and I frequent Smash & Dash, but this has become a staple for my soldiers for get-together and going-away parties. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Man when I tell yall this was the best burger I’ve ever had, I mean it with my whole heart. It was so good I had to come back the very next day because I couldn’t believe what I had eaten. And it was reasonably priced. Love it!! 10/10 would recommend everyday!

I have been to Smash and Dash around 10 times and the food is always outstanding. They make the best burgers in the area, and possibly the best burger I have ever had. It is fast, fresh, perfectly cooked with crunchy, crispy edges and super soft brioche buns. The tater tots are incredible. This place does not try to do too much, and what they do they do right. If I could give it 10 stars I would. My kids beg me to take them to Smash and Dash every weekend. The kids size burger with fries is only 6.50 Euro. Compare that to the outrageous prices at Five Guys on base....... The wait staff is great, all speak English and are really polite and nice.

I visited Smash & Dash for the first time and found a great restaurant with food and service that was outstanding. The exterior of the building hides the gem you will find inside. Besides my excellent meal, I also witnessed a young man starting a challenge to eat a very large burger in less than 20 minutes. I am not familiar with the rules or reward if completed, but it was an impressive stack of beef. I plan to visit Smash & Dash again.

An excellent burger joint! I had the Feugo with bacon. Burger and onions with kalapenos done The right way. Tots are tasty as well but try the fries. Drank the Two Chefs Brewing Bon Chef IPA, nice light alittle hoppy. Pairs well with burgers and does not overpower the burger flavor.

Pros: well lit, ambiance, and currently take credit cards Cons: Service, price, parking, and tator tots. Gastrointestinal issues. I was on a hike with the family and decided to stop here for a quick lunch. We entered the restaurant with our personal bottles of water and were seated with no problems. After receiving our orders, the waitress rudely says that outside drinks are not allowed and she insists that I place my bottle under the table (I was ready to walk away, but family didn't want to leave). The burgers had ok flavor but were too greasy and couldn't pick up with hands as the thin beef would try to slide out from bun (used fork and knife). The tator tots tasted grainy, and the price was high for burgers and fries (min of 15 euros), and water was another 3 euros. The price and lack of service (rude waitress) were my biggest issues with my experience. There are many other choices to try for cheaper prices. There also seemed to be limited parking outside on a busy priority road.

If you want to try authentic burgers like they taste in the States (and sometimes even better), this is the place for you. Fewer greens and other things you don't need, but more flavor. Absolute recommendation. There are 5 stars because of the option to pay by card. Unfortunately, this is always an exception in Germany.

This place is awesome. Been here a year and I have eaten here at least 3 times a month if not more.

First of all a big shout out to the service. I arrived a bit moody and hangry and yet the staff was super sweet, helpful and was able to change my mood quickly. Sorry for being such a pain 😅🫣 the service was great and above all super fast. Not just the drinks, even the food. The only thing I really have to "complain" about is that the meat was a bit too salty for me as a European (although I really like salt) but otherwise the food was 😚🤌 Chefs kiss. I will definitely leave as a satisfied customer afterwards. And little insider tip, check out the toilet... soooo cool 🤩

Food is what you would expect from an American place which is a good thing since we are in Germany. We had to wait a while for Chantal to take our order, she seemed busy at the bar, when I tried to get her attention she was on her phone and I waived at her, she came over and seemed upset that I had the gall to get her attention. Viktoria took care of us the rest of the time and she was very friendly and worked fast. Viktoria told me Chantal is not usually like that maybe my face caused the whole thing. Either way I hope your experience doesn't feel anything like mine.

Have eaten here 7 times and have never been disappointed. The burgers and the ambience are simply uniquely good. Combined with very friendly service, always worth a visit. Today was a special day when I took part in the Burger Challenge and passed it. As a reward there was the burger and one of the self-designed T-shirts + photo on the house.

Food was great, but the challenge with 6 patties was too easy, I ordered onion rings afterwards and some ice cream.😂 In return I got a t-shirt and the burger for free. Tater Tots are highly recommended!!

Good citizens and delicious side dishes.

Disappointing. It wasn’t busy, but the wait staff seemed annoyed when I was confused about some menu items and had some clarifying questions. The service from then was passive aggressive at best. It cost 12€ for the thinnest burger I’ve maybe ever had and 8€ for a root beer float that consisted mainly of whipped cream. The flavors were pretty good, but I just can’t justify it with the service and prices how they are. I’ll go to 16/57 next time. Far better in all aspects. Sad, because other Benji’s establishments are regularly good.

We had an early Saturday evening dinner. There was no issue for us finding parking across the street. Inside was clean and fashionable, and looked like it was getting busy when we left around 515. Burgers, onion, rings, fries, and tots were all good, as were the sundaes we had for dessert.

We’ve been to Smash and Dash multiple times now. Our first experience was reheated leftovers from a catered work event, and those were amazing enough to get us into the restaurant ASAP! The burgers are great. I like looking at the monthly burger creations - this month’s BLT Smash was good enough to get me to deviate from my usual Oklahoma Onion Smash! The fuego sauce really adds something special to the burgers. Most importantly, this is one of the few places where my 3 year old will eat everything on his plate! Location in Einsiedlerhof is very convenient and street parking is available in front of and behind the restaurant. Staff are super friendly and attentive. If you’re concerned about a language barrier, everyone speaks great English! When I was last there, card payments were possible with orders over €20.

Spent our lunch break here today. Were warmly welcomed and served straight away without a long wait. Our burgers arrived quickly and were really tasty. Fries hot and crispy. Everything as you wish. We will be back definitely.

It's probably the best burger you can get in Kaiserslautern. The onion rings were phenomenal and the service was very forthcoming. The interior design and the menus are very nice to look at.

I finally find a delicious burger in our area. Of course it's a matter of taste but I thought it was great (ordered with egg). The kids were also happy (boh, that's great).

This place has pretty good burgers. I have recently moved to the area and this is the best burger I've tried yet. I learned about it when purchasing something from the chef who invited me to come down and try them out. Thanks man! The tater tots are very similar in consistency to croquettes which was a welcome surprise. However, the fuego burger wasn't nearly as spicy as I had hoped. I am from the southwestern US and I am very used to spicy foods, so I had hoped it would be able to stand up on its own. The spice level isn't very high, but the flavor is still very good. The spicy ranch is a great addition to your tots that I think you should try even if you aren't a fan of ranch usually. Overall, I had a great lunch and would like to come back for dinner and have a few drinks.

Great place for a really good burger in between. Ambience is perfect for a burger shop. There is a cocktail bar, but not really many cocktails. I'll definitely come back to eat burgers.

Drink menu had variance to it, which I liked. Moscow mule tasted good. Burger was a little too oily for me. Onion Rings were crispy and lightly salted which was great, in my opinion. Service could be better. Food didn’t take too long to arrive, but we weren’t seated right away despite having a few open seats that were clearly visible from the waiting area.

Although they weren't incredibly busy it took 10 minutes to be seated. We decided to sit for the wait and some other people came in after us. They ended up getting seen and taken to their table before us. So I do dislike the service. It also felt like they were understaffed. The food took about 25 minutes and tasted amazing. I will say that the burgers are very greasy though.

Delicious big double burgers! Tator tots, onion rings, or french fries! The tator tots have a little onion flavor, the onion rings are crispy, and the fries are crispy and delicious! The waitresses were so kind! They were checking on us often!
