Had the “Vom Ochs”. It was really good. It is a traditional Austrian dish. If that is not your speed, try the burgers. Or the chicken and fries.

The service was very friendly. I would give it full marks for that. The burger was okay. Nothing special, unfortunately. The meat could have been juicier, and overall it was rather cold. Too much sauce and not very well seasoned.

We were there and we both had the shake „Ludwigshöhe“ the decoration didn’t taste good and it somehow tasted expired and the cream on top of it was warm. The spoons weren’t polished and the table was dirty. And also there was only one waitress so it was a bit complicated. Overall we didn’t make a good experience.

Very good burger place. All the dishes have a reference to the Austrian monarchy. Perfect beer. I'm not usually a burger fan, but the food served here is very good and plentiful.

This restaurant is truly quaint and attractively designed. The menu is creative and there's something for everyone. The quality of the food was excellent. The service could have been a bit more attentive, but that might have been due to the seating area and the time of day.

The burgers are great (I had the "Joseph"). In the summer, you can sit outside, even partially under cover.

Comfortably furnished and centrally located. The service was very good, everyone was friendly, even to our dog. He immediately received a bowl of water. The food, with its imaginative names, was beautifully presented and we all enjoyed it immensely. We will definitely come back when we're in Lautern.

I had very high hopes for this place however the burger was alright just average and nothing special.

I enjoy eating there; there's a wide selection. You don't necessarily need a reservation, as they always have tables available for walk-ins. There's covered seating both inside and outside. The atmosphere is lovely. The service is also very friendly; I had no complaints.

Another restaraunt in the middle of K-Town thriving and surviving. And YES, those are sweet potato fries. The name.Sissi (F) and Franz (M) are entryways to the restroom.

Friendly service, but my request for room-temperature mineral water was ignored; it arrived ice cold. There's a step at the entrance on Eisenbahnstrasse. There was once a sign there, but it's hard to see when you walk from the bright midday sun into the dark restaurant. The restrooms also need to be renovated. The doors are difficult to open.

I've never eaten so badly. Prices are extremely expensive and portions are measly small and the cordon blue didn't even have cheese, the lemonade was bitter and the bread was dried out

My friend and I really wanted to try the burgers and ordered, among other things, the Leopoldburger with buffalo mozzarella and dried tomatoes and shared it, but next time we'd rather come to the restaurant... instead of having it delivered (delivery was on time, the driver was nice) but the good Angus meat was probably due to the delivery and was completely cooked through (but not dry) and the bacon was unfortunately not crispy but mushy... everything still tasted great. 😊

Today we wanted to eat at S&F with 4 people and our dog. When we asked if we could sit down on the upper floor, we were refused! Strangely, the tables on the ground floor that would have been considered were all reserved (around 3:30 p.m.)!!! Unfortunately we weren't offered an alternative, so we got a great table a few meters away in the extra sheet with probably better burgers and friendly service. Unfortunately not worth recommending under these circumstances! Maybe some employees should be trained in friendliness and customer service...

Unfortunately, the floor and the stairs were very dirty at 6 p.m., the taps in the toilets were very wobbly or completely broken, and the toilets weren't that clean either. Basic cleaning would definitely be appropriate. Food was delicious as always. Staff very friendly

We order here regularly and have never had any complaints, even when I was there the service was excellent. The food is always very tasty, Pomm Chicken is really my highlight, partly with the peanut sauce!! Good value for money and was always ready and there quickly.

The fries with truffle mayonnaise were the highlight of the visit. Unfortunately, the beef tasted like sheep's meat in the aftertaste and the sweet potato fries tasted like old frying fat in the finish. The salads were delicious. The lowlight of the visit, however, was the penetratingly loud shisha bar music. You could only have a conversation while shouting and this Asi music didn't fit in at all with the otherwise beautiful ambience. Who would come up with such an idea?

If you want a cozy evening, this is not the right place. The food is good so far, not groundbreaking, but not much negative to report either. But the music was WAY TOO LOUD all evening, like in a shisha bar. You could hardly have a conversation. When I asked if the music could be made a little quieter, they said that wasn't possible.

Price completely justified. Service very nice. The restaurant stands out from the dreary Lauter pedestrian zone with its “Alpine flair”. The only “mistake” I made was I didn’t order the burger medium. The Angus patties were a bit too cooked for me, but that didn't detract from the taste. Conclusion: I'll go back and can only recommend it 👍🏻🤘🏻

We had a trip to Kaiserslautern and were looking for something to eat in the strange city. Luckily we came across this restaurant! The first impression was very positive: the service was extremely courteous. We would particularly like to highlight the young man named Jan who gave us an excellent recommendation. Super delicious food and very friendly service. Both the burger, sweet potato fries and the bowl were very tasty. The kiwi mango lemonade is also highly recommended, as is the hazelnut latte macchiato. There is also seating outside, which in winter is equipped with blankets and illuminated by heat lamps. Very stylish furnishings. We felt very comfortable.

The food is always good, but the toilets are a disaster every time you come. We've noticed this several times now. It doesn't matter whether you want to use the toilets at 11:30 a.m. or at 5:30 p.m. When the employees are asked that the toilets are very dirty (marks on the seat, in the bowl, dirty floor, broken doors) they just shrug their shoulders and don't care. You don't want to imagine what the kitchen looks like when you put so little focus on hygiene. That's why we're not coming anymore.

We were spontaneously in Kaiserslautern and “stumbled upon” the restaurant. What can I say…we are thrilled! The ambience is great with this rustic but stylish atmosphere, there really is something on the menu for EVERYONE, whether with or without meat, sweet or salty, it all looks super delicious! And the service is great too, really fast and super friendly, always happy!

The burgers are ok, but be careful served without any accompaniment, we won't tell you that. Otherwise you will have to pay extra for fries or salad. The service: friendly but frankly not dynamic, we therefore ask for a portion of fries since the dishes do not include them, and we are still waiting for it... Finally, the 75cl bottle of water at €6.95, a real luxury. An a la carte apple juice of 40cl at €4.90, on the bill, we are charged two 20cl juices, obviously that adds up to the bill (more than €7), hello honesty

Had lunch here and it was an amazing experience! The burger was absolutely delicious – juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The fries were just as good, crispy and well-seasoned. On top of the great food, the staff was really friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. Definitely a place worth visiting if you’re looking for a great meal and great service! Highly recommended.

We actually liked eating there because the burgers are really good. However, today we had to experience how the boss treats his staff. That was anything but nice and is not possible, especially in front of the guests. He also wanted to get rid of all the guests who had finished eating as quickly as possible in order to have space again. The waitress was also asked to cash in on us even though we still had drinks. Outrageous... We then stayed sitting there for a while. It's a shame, it was probably our last visit...

Very, very tasty food and super lovely staff. The burger Leopold and Franz in love were really really good. The only point of criticism is the toilets, where unfortunately some door handles were missing and the cleanliness was only mediocre.

01/10/2025 - for lunch: Positively surprised... very nice and courteous service from a young man. Also made us aware of the lunch specials. We were happy with both the burgers and the drinks. Homemade lemonade (grapefruit) and tea with fresh mint, ginger and orange are recommended. There is criticism for the not very nice benches in the “houses”... stained and worn. We'd love to come back.

We were here after visiting the Kaiserslautern Christmas market. The atmosphere is rustic. The menu offers a wide selection of burgers but also salads. People who want to eat low-carb or vegetarian will also find what they are looking for here. I had Maximillian a low-carb burger because I wanted to try it. I also had sweet potato fries to try. My burger was served with vegetables. There was also a small salad and a dip. A downer for low-carb fans: I found a bread chip between the vegetables. The waiter who was asked about it claimed that there was probably Caesar in the salad. But he doesn't belong there either. The staff is very nice and can't be bothered despite the hustle and bustle. The only reason why it is not recommended for everyone: the toilet is upstairs. The price-performance ratio is okay.

The stairs to the toilets were completely dirty. But when I went into the women's bathroom, it hit me. There were tissues and toilet paper everywhere. The toilets were so badly contaminated with feces that I didn't go to the toilet. When explaining the operation, this was accepted without saying anything. I won't eat there again!

Had an amazing meal my first time here, place was nice and clean and the staff was friendly and suggested items that we should try and man it was delicious!

We waited for almost half an hour and despite asking, no one came to serve us.

We reserved a table for 15 people for our Christmas party. When we arrived we were sent straight upstairs, which wasn't a problem in itself, but there were only 2 tables with 10 people. We finally helped ourselves and moved tables so that we could all sit together. The toilets were a disaster, loose faucets that just sprayed all over the bathroom and wet more than your hands. The service, however, was the biggest disappointment, after 15 minutes our boss went downstairs because no one had even officially greeted us up to that point, they just said "someone is coming up soon." After another 15 minutes when no one came, we decided to go. A real flop for every Christmas party. Unfortunately not recommended

The menu reads very tasty and you immediately feel like eating schnitzel, burgers etc. Unfortunately, my mum's schnitzel was quite dry, tough and darkly fried. My Alpine Rösti with Zurich Geschnetzeltes was initially just a mushroom cream Rösti. The kitchen must have slept a bit there. The sliced ​​meat was then served to me separately, but even then the "chunks of meat" were very tough and really not edible. However, my complaint was taken into account by the nice young man in service and I was allowed to choose a different dish. The Otmar chicken burger was ok so far, but the sweet potato fries could have used a moment longer in the frying pan. The sour cream dip had a strange taste, whether it was the recipe or something else I don't know. My unsuccessful Rösti was not charged and as mentioned, the young man at the service was really very nice and patient despite the hectic pace. The atmosphere is also very cozy and I will give Sissi&Franz another chance for one of these mega fancy shakes. Unfortunately, burgers & co didn't convince me today.

Never again. We ordered and my daughter and I had to go to the toilet first. We were shocked at the filthy condition we found it in. The doors couldn't be closed properly because they dragged on the floor. The toilets, the sinks and everything around them were dirty. As if it had never been cleaned there before and if it had, it was with a greasy rag. The whole thing disgusted me so much that I lost my appetite. I imagined what the kitchen would look like. With difficulty I ate something because I was hungry. I've had heartburn ever since. The young lady's service was good. The food at other burger restaurants is better. The toilet facilities can be compared to those in the motorway parking lots. It's just disgusting

My visit to this burger restaurant was absolutely great! As soon as you enter you can tell that attention is paid to quality and atmosphere. The restaurant is stylishly furnished with a cozy atmosphere that invites you to linger. The burgers were really fantastic! The meat was juicy and perfectly fried, the rolls were fresh and fluffy, and the toppings harmonized wonderfully with each other. You can immediately tell that high-quality ingredients are used here. I was particularly impressed by the creative burger variants available here - a real taste experience! The side dishes, such as the crispy sweet potato fries and the homemade sauces, were also a real highlight. The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The staff seemed to be in a good mood and made you feel completely comfortable. Overall, a fantastic burger restaurant that I would highly recommend. Here you not only get a delicious burger, but also an all-round successful experience!

Sometimes I wonder why we even go there anymore. Probably ultimately because of the awesome burgers. But that's all around it... As I said, the burger and drinks themselves are good, although we also had moldy raspberries in our cocktail two years ago. But the cutlery that has been really questionably dirty for years (see picture) where you can even feel the greasy water residue when you touch it is really just disgusting. If you ask and complain, you will get a new potty with new cutlery that looks exactly like that... awesome. But the main thing is 100 dishes on offer and 10 menus on the table xD Just polish your cutlery. It's not that difficult. Industrial dishwashers often don't clean properly, so they have to be reworked!!! In addition, the drinks prices are quite questionable given the quantity. Some tables upstairs are also very dark. The table next door was just reading the menu with the cell phone light. Wtf! The best thing: at around 7:30 p.m. the already very dark light was dimmed even further xD no more words. At least it was made brighter again at our request. With very little effort you can improve a lot. Do something!!! Your food is awesome.

My man and I come here almost every day after work. And he always orders food for himself. Unfortunately, I cannot eat food here because I have health problems. I have a very strict diet. And most of the waiters who work here know this, and I have nothing against it. One of the new waiters today confronted me because I ate low-fat cottage cheese with blueberries and banana. We did order drinks though. And every day my man has dinner at this establishment. Next time we will think about coming to this establishment again. Zero understanding.
