HANS IM GLÜCK - ERFURT Fischmarkt in Erfurt

We discovered this restaurant through the gourmet guide. The service was very friendly and polite. Unfortunately, not everything is compatible with the guide, but the burgers and various fries were absolutely delicious. The cocktails were also very good. If you like burgers, this is the place for you. The atmosphere is great, although it's a bit cramped at some of the tables.

The prices are outrageous for a burger. I wouldn't recommend it because you wouldn't get full here if you were really hungry.

We just ordered from Hans im Glück for the first time. What a disappointment!!!!!! Food was cold! The delivery person needed two attempts to deliver everything. The sauces leaked. The burgers were completely ruined. Of course, no one could be reached by phone. That was the first and last time. What a shame!!!!

This is our second visit to Hans im Glück, both times spontaneously in the evening (once during the week and once on the weekend). Each time, we were lucky enough to get a table for two without a reservation. The first time, we were completely satisfied with the food and the service, but unfortunately, this wasn't quite the case the second time, as the side dishes, in particular, were served almost cold, and the staff were less friendly. The quality of the burgers, however, was always impeccable, so we will definitely visit the restaurant again.

Was tasty but a too small patty

The place is very nice, but the food leaves much to be desired. My fries were burnt and the burger tasted like it came from Lidl. Even McDonald's serves better burgers. Overall, I'm disappointed. 😒 Waited an hour for my order....

The servants were a little "over the top", but the food was pretty good, especially the fries! I did not understand, why the waiters put all guests more or less into the same part of the restaurant, since this place is sooo big and has _so much_ space ... would go there again anytime!

We spent our first evening as a family at Hans im Glück. We had a reservation for four people. The server was really very nice. We were able to order both digitally and "analog." The ambiance is truly wonderful, with its modern yet natural flair. The food itself was delicious. We each had a burger and various side dishes. The sodas (thirst quenchers) were also delicious. All in all, a truly lovely start to our vacation.

I was truly shocked at how bad these burgers were. The quality of the meat was truly cheap frozen food. Of course, you don't expect the best burgers here, but back in the day, you could at least get mediocre ones. Staff friendly, but the burgers really...ugh. Edit from the next day: I just got food poisoning from them.

Today was the first time I was disappointed by Hand im Glück. My salad contained exactly one tomato, which I find rather low when it's explicitly listed beforehand. I also asked if the veggie chicken in my salad could be swapped for regular chicken. This was agreed to without further comment. When I got the bill, the chicken was charged separately, so I had to pay almost €23 for an average salad. If I had known, I would have ordered something else, or rather, had the veggie chicken.

Overall, a very mixed impression. The order was taken promptly, but there were flies/insects in the cocktail, likely stuck to the mint. This was immediately reported, but it took a very long time for the drink to be replaced. Furthermore, part of the burger order was incorrect, causing an unnecessary delay. The waitress responsible for the table was very friendly, but some concession, or at least an apology for the entire inconvenience, would have been appropriate.

We (there were two of us) were rather rudely sent away at dinner time without a reservation, with the words, "If you don't have a reservation, we don't have any space right now." When we walked past the windows, ALL the tables in the back were free. Yes, it was the evening before the holiday, yes, it was rush hour, and yet a friendly, honest "we're busy right now, did you bring your time with you?" would have been fine. Sorry, we probably won't be back given the abundance of options.

We celebrated my birthday at Hans im Glück Erfurt, and once again, it was simply delicious! The food is truly high-quality and delicious. The staff is very friendly. The only thing we don't like is the uncomfortable seating. If you want to sit there for a while, the benches with steep backrests, or no backrest at all, are very uncomfortable.

We had made an online reservation the day before and were a group of four people plus two dogs. Our request to sit in a corner was honored. Our waitress was super nice. She answered all our questions in a friendly manner. The food was of very good quality and tasted great.

Simply fantastic. It's a little paradise for gourmets. They serve fresh ingredients and creative burgers (vegetarian and vegan options are also great!). The sides are also great. Add to that the cozy atmosphere and the super friendly staff. It's absolutely recommended! 🍔✨

A successful birthday dinner. The very friendly waitress entertained us and, to top it all off, provided us with a delicious meal. The portions were very generous, which we consider a key deciding factor. A wonderful dessert with a birthday fountain was also included, all on the house! We'll treat ourselves to it again soon.

Dear Hans im Glück Erfurt team, I am writing to express my deep disappointment about a recent order. I ordered two burgers via Lieferando on September 20, 2025, at 11:36 AM (order number QKKYQT). Unfortunately, the delivery didn't arrive until 1:15 PM. Such a long wait of almost two hours is absolutely unacceptable. I am extremely dissatisfied and anything but "happy" with this experience.

The decor is fantastic. The portions are great. The kids get something to paint.

We absolutely love eating here and are always happy. The selection of vegan burgers is very diverse, and since they've added gluten-free buns, I think there's something for everyone. :-)

We had a wonderful evening at Hans im Glück in Erfurt. Making a reservation online was easy and worked well. The food and drinks were, as always, delicious and freshly prepared. Beautifully located spot with a great view of the hustle and bustle of the fish market. Interestingly designed menu with unusual names for the dishes. For the €15.90 Triple Smash Burger, I honestly expected a bit more. It tasted very good, but it's a shame that it was served on a plate with a film of oil on it. I was reasonably full.

A typical Hans im Glück restaurant, but with a fantastic location in the heart of the city. Anyone who wants to experience Erfurt can do so in a wonderful way here. The food hardly needs to be mentioned. This type of chain restaurant is certainly well-known enough.

Delicious burgers. Something for everyone. Meat, chicken (extra protein), vegetarian, vegan. A variety of drinks and side dishes, and everything tastes great!

Addendum: Down from five stars to one. Absolutely terrible food. The service was very friendly, but it couldn't make up for the 55-minute wait for a simple burger and fries in a nearly empty restaurant. The kitchen was extremely slow and abysmal for a chain restaurant. Delicious goat-pepper burger, quickly prepared. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Well I have to say the Hans im Glück menu was great the taste of the burger is beyond words and the fries were crispy with the right bite and taste, and thank you boss, next time we visit we'll chat a bit longer in this spirit and thank you to the staff, thank you very much.

Most of them missing part of the items and/or adding (sauces, drinks, burgers, salads). In many cases mixed orders also (like batat pomes, not normal goldenfritten). Highly not recommend to order. If you’re eating in restaurant - most likely you will be able to fix your order with employees. Burgers - 5/10 Pomes - really nice with addings

I'm a repeat customer and always enjoy visiting "Hans im Glück." The food is highly recommended, and there are a variety of dishes to suit every diet. The burger bun selection is particularly special, as you can choose from four options. The atmosphere is relaxed, cozy, and very pleasant. The staff is always respectful and friendly. There is one minor criticism: the seating inside is relatively narrow, and there are no places to lean.

The Smash Burger and coleslaw were good, but unfortunately just average for a burger joint. The fries and truffle mayo, on the other hand, were much better. The service was very courteous and quick. 5 out of 5!

How frustrating! I've been there twice, and the last time was simply outrageous! The "frozen matcha latte" and "frozen pink chai latte" are just a joke! They look nothing like the promotional photos and were served with ONLY HALF (the matcha, a little less than half) of the cup, with lots of big pieces pf ice and almost nothing to drink! I don't think I can describe how bad it was, but it clearly seems like it was made that way on purpose.

The staff is very friendly. There are plenty of options, including for vegetarians and vegans. At each table, there's at least one set menu and four different sauces and salts. The food was delicious! The decor is also great. At each table, there's a QR code that allows you to order and even pay online. However, you can also wait for a waiter to come over.

We visited this restaurant for lunch on a sunny Saturday. We were assigned a nice outdoor seating area. You can order using the QR code at your table or through one of the service staff. We placed our order with a very attentive and friendly waitress. The drinks arrived in under two minutes. We ordered two lunch menu items (burger/fries/drink). The value for money is good, and it's filling. The restrooms are on the ground floor and very well maintained. We'll be back again. Thank you!

Our first visit to a Hans im Glück restaurant, and we were truly impressed. They offered us a kids' menu and an adult menu, and we were both satisfied. It tasted a whole lot better than Peter Pane.

We had a delicious meal at Ha's im Glück - Fischmarkt today. It was once again very, very tasty and pleasant. Above all, the service was very friendly and prompt. There were no long waits. Unfortunately, a right-wing extremist demonstration passed by the location during our visit. It's a shame they always have to be so disruptive.

We decided to visit spontaneously on a Saturday evening without a reservation. Despite the busy crowd, the wait time was very short. The service was very friendly and accommodating.

The burger joint offers very friendly service, and the food tastes truly excellent. Unfortunately, the value for money isn't quite right. The portions don't quite live up to expectations for the price. I ordered a triple burger—a burger with three meat patties. You'd expect a real heavyweight. Unfortunately, the patties were so thin that two of them together were barely the size of a single patty from other burger joints. Overall, the triple burger was only slightly larger than a regular burger for me. What a shame!

I once learned something. Just look at the restroom in a restaurant and that's what the kitchen looks like... People, someone has to check there every hour... piles of paper waste... yucky floors and toilets. That's just not acceptable. Ambience and business idea notwithstanding. It's way too loud in a restaurant, and with prices these days, I'd rather sit and chat, not text.

A real insider tip for Erfurt! If you're visiting Erfurt and haven't been to "Hans im Glück," you're really missing out. We found this place through the Schlemmerblock and absolutely don't regret it. Where to begin... A great team, friendly service, and a really great ordering system. Come and try it for yourself! Such delicious burgers, a creative and diverse selection of ingredients (shoutout to the kitchen)👍, the high quality and regionality of the products is clearly visible and tasteful. The entire location is decorated with great attention to detail, and you feel very welcome. And let's not forget the modern and clean restrooms 😜👍. We'll be back here soon to enjoy a great burger and cold, tasty drinks.

We visited Hans im Glück on a very hot day/evening and were very pleased, but especially grateful for the pleasant temperature inside. Although we didn't have a reservation, we got a table quickly. The food was delicious (Smash Burger), the cocktails were very refreshing, and the service was excellent. We ordered via QR code and didn't have to wait long. We found the staff to be very friendly and cheerful.

So let's get to the food first... I had the full-flavored burger with fries. About the burger: it was cold when it arrived, very intense meat flavor, and not exactly tasty. You couldn't taste anything else. If you had just a mushroom, it was just a different consistency, but the flavor was imperceptible. The bread was very dry, not much sauce (or rather, the sauce was very runny). The fries: were OK, pretty limp, not seasoned, but still the most edible. The additional sauces were all super runny, except for the fries. The ketchup was the tastiest of the two: the orange sauce, the three: the fries sauce, and last by far the barbecue sauce. I'm actually a real sauce lover, but this just didn't work. Unfortunately, I was really disappointed. You can get better burgers at home, and if you feel like eating out, I'd rather go to Peter Pane. Service: very over-the-top, probably students working part-time, seemed a bit off to me. Like at Anger, when they always try to catch you and turn something up, it's simply fake and annoying. Atmosphere: nice in itself but rather poorly thought out. 1. Very few places to lean. 2. Very little space in the aisles. 3. The women's restroom is even lower than the men's (women are more likely to be pregnant or have problems in this regard). 4. Poor signage. And now comes the worst. We specifically ordered and paid by phone so it would be less hassle for the staff and we could leave faster. In the end, you only had the choice of tipping 7%, 10%, or 12%, or rounding up from €53.10 to €59. I honestly thought that was a complete disgrace, considering I absolutely didn't like the food and the day afterward was ruined anyway.

I've been here several times and was always satisfied, but on Saturday it was just really bad. It was packed, the staff was extremely overwhelmed. If you offer that many seats, you should be able to serve them, or have the people to do so. We ordered fries with a burger. The fries were cold and were delivered 15 minutes before the burger. The burger was also cold. How is it possible that the food is cold when the kitchen can't keep up? Were we forgotten??? We had a cocktail for 12 euros, which was just ice cubes 😡 It was 30 degrees, and the various sauces had been sitting outside in the heat all day. We paid over 70 euros in total, and then this happened. When I mentioned it, all I got was, "We're sorry." Too bad, we actually enjoyed our time here.

I'm torn. The restaurant is beautiful but perhaps just too big, so the waiters and the kitchen can't keep up. We had to place our order using a QR code because no one else came. The aperitif came very quickly, but after that it didn't work anymore. Everyone got their food at different times and the other drinks didn't arrive for over an hour. After asking several times, the drinks did arrive (but they were on the house). The food was absolutely delicious, but due to the circumstances I can only give it two stars. Everyone had to eat alone (4 people) and the drinks didn't arrive. The value for money is absolutely not right. The same thing happened at the other tables next to us.
