This was the first time I had a waiter looking at me ugly because I said "no tip" when paying, and this shouldn't be considered normal. If you want your customers to have an overall good experience, then stop ruining it in the end and start treating people kindly. Nobody should be forced or judged for not contributing to the service fee. I come from a much poorer country than germany, plus I'm a poor student, so respect my choice and everyone's who comes in and doesn't give you what you want. Of course you should be happy when receiving a tip, but don't show your discontent when you don't and make us feel guilty!!!

Incredibly poor food quality. Completely incomprehensible how people can eat such things.

This salad is sold under the name "Raw Delicious." It contains zero raw ingredients; a question only met with a shrug. The fries tasted exactly as they looked. The iced tea was cloyingly sweet and artificial in taste. I wasn't served outside at first. When I went inside, someone eventually came. At least they gave the dog water, without asking. Truly disappointing.

The best burger shop ever – Hans im Glück! This was my second time at Hans im Glück, and it was an absolute taste experience again! For me it is the best burger restaurant I have ever visited. The burgers are simply perfect – fresh, juicy, with high-quality ingredients and brilliant sauces. The ambience is also incredibly cozy and stylish, with lots of wood, plants and a unique atmosphere in which you immediately feel at home. The service was friendly and attentive. Everything was just right! I'll definitely come back - always happy!

Hello dear community, since I'm on the road... I stopped at the Hans im Glück Restaurant near Isator! I sat down in the restaurant and ate a burger without any fancy frills. It was the “full-bodied” version with bacon, onions and champions. Sometimes it doesn't take much. The burger was delicious, the facility was nicely decorated. And the service staff was too present and attentive. All around a successful stay. Best regards, Christian

Today, April 23rd, 2025, I had dinner in your restaurant. The food and service were truly excellent – ​​until I witnessed a very unpleasant situation. A young employee was shouted at loudly and repeatedly in the middle of the guest room by a superior (I can't say whether it was a boss) in front of all the guests. Until then, the atmosphere was relaxed and all the guests were enjoying their food - which made this behavior towards the employee all the more inappropriate and disturbing. As someone who has experience in the catering industry myself, all I can say is: it doesn't work that way. Criticism of employees should never be done in this tone and especially not in front of guests.

The quality of the food was not particularly high. It somehow tasted a bit like old fat. The service was friendly but a bit pushy towards the end regarding the tip. I also found the concept of card payment devices with tipping options unfortunate. The option of not tipping or giving less is not immediately apparent in the hectic atmosphere.

Thank you for the child-friendly facilities! We were here on Saturday at 12 and were able to eat in peace while the children played in the play area. We really enjoyed the food and the team really made an effort. We'll definitely come back

A small indoor playground with a burger restaurant.. great for kids. Do not miss!

- we were Saturday afternoon - rainy weather - Reservation no longer possible - we had to wait over 25 minutes before anyone came, we were told that everything would be completely full, but we were able to sit down - table right at the entrance door (there were probably 20 tables free in the entire restaurant 🤷🏻‍♀️), a lot of guests were sent away before and after us. Everything was so semi-friendly, the service staff seemed annoyed and overwhelmed. - It would have been another 15 minutes before a service person came to the table. We then ordered everything at once (as little effort for the employees as possible). When we responded with "I hope I haven't forgotten anything - but we can re-order when you come back" we received an annoyed and stroppy "Yes, of course, have fun waiting" and our eyes were rolled (?!). - the real reason for our visit was the play area. Unfortunately it is so small (maybe designed for about 10 children) that it was just chaotic and sometimes the other parents didn't even look at what their children were doing there (stressing the parents who were there and sometimes dangerous for little ones!). In addition, the area is not centrally located or simply completely at the other end. So very inconvenient. It was advertised on Insta as a “large play area”. That's definitely not it. Also somehow inconvenient, sometimes people played with shoes and sometimes without them... there is also no demarcation from the tables. - we then asked if we could change tables (several tables were free right next to the gaming area) - it wouldn't be possible because we had already ordered. Another table (which we had already ordered) could change (?!) - Food came quickly, quality as usual. Nothing major, but PLV is correct. Portions large, drinks delicious. The vegan nuggets really impressed us all. - but the big hit came at the end. We paid (by card) and the service person (who was there exactly twice: took the order and brought the food; no questions about whether everything was okay, what was going on, etc.) replied to the tip given really cheekily: “Yes, 10€ more would have been better!!!” and the whole thing again in one tone…. Sorry, that doesn't work at all! So we probably won't come anymore :)

We visited with our kids it was really fun… 🤩👌🏻👌🏻 everything was great.. but they should remove the carpet infront of slide as its creat mess when kids slide down.. 😊😊 will suggest to reserve and go as its is crowded… and staff are really great.. will visit again 🤗🙏🏻

We were sent on even though there were places available for three people. It was a Saturday afternoon around 4:30 p.m. The staff was visibly stressed and very unfriendly. Also towards other guests. This is the second time I've experienced this in two weeks at Hans im Glück in Munich.

It’s noisy, stuffy, the benches are dirty, covered in stains and crumbs, it’s not clear whether the floor has been completed or is it a construction project, and the toilet...at the station is cleaner! When the waitress has a short top and an exposed navel, I don’t understand the concept of the establishment, is it a nightclub or a family restaurant! Food but a C!

The place is cool and the staff is nice. I liked the fries, but the burger has no quality, no taste, no texture.

A very nice children's corner but unfortunately the children are not allowed to play because it disturbs the guests and the staff. The waitress was with us several times and complained about our children and grabbed them by hand. It's better to get rid of the children's corner as you can't with children.

Disgusting!!!Never again!!! I have to be honest, it wasn't for us. From reservation to payment just not good. We made a reservation for the children's area because we have two small children. It worked smoothly online. Unfortunately no longer in the restaurant. We were told by the management that they had no free spaces at the playground and we had to sit where there was a space. But then I find offering the possibility absolutely pointless. After 15 minutes we were allowed to order our food and drinks. I suspect that the colleague was pretty new and didn't really know how to enter the orders, but in the end everything worked. I have to say that she was definitely super nice!!! After 40 minutes the food came. Loveless as one can imagine. Just thrown it on the plate without a second thought. For me, the fries with garlic and cheese were missing. Unfortunately, after 5 minutes I got the fries. There was a total of about 15 pieces of fries inside with disgusting garlic that fit endlessly. As an improvement, 5 parmesan flakes and chives. A pig wouldn't be able to eat that. For a €6.90 supplement, I would personally expect a little more love. I gave the fries back to my colleague, she apologized and asked if I would like a new one. But I didn't want to take that risk anymore. Overall the food was nothing!!! Absolutely nothing! I then asked you for the invoice. I don't know what I expected, of course you have to pay for the fries even though they were a complete waste. I paid and left!!! Hans and Glück's concept has been so ruined over the last few years that the quality of the food is simply no longer right! As the manager of several restaurants, I also have to say that if no one is interested in the complaint in the local restaurant, unfortunately it has to be communicated online. LG Frosted

We were there in a group with children. The new playground is of course nice, but it's only really helpful if you can get a table right there. Under no circumstances can you leave the children alone. The door directly to the playground was left open several times and children ran out. Food like everywhere else in Hans im Glück. You also get the feeling that the staff is a bit annoyed by the new clientele with 1000 small children. (Hold it very loudly, as is always the case). Otherwise it was fine. And well equipped for children.

If you're looking for a place with fantastic food, excellent service, and a family-friendly atmosphere, this is the spot. The food was delicious and the service was attentive. A standout feature is the spacious play area for children, which is a huge bonus. It’s great to have a safe, fun space for kids to enjoy while the adults can relax, and the best part? There’s no extra cost for the play area. Highly recommend this place for a great meal and a fun family outing.

We had dinner there on Sunday late afternoon. The store was full of families with small children. The atmosphere was more like a kindergarten without supervision. Children playing catch and hide and seek in the restaurant. There were an estimated 50 children in the entire restaurant. There was a step next to us where every quarter of an hour an unattended child would jump onto his mouth and start screaming. It was terrible!

Not the most awesome burger ever , but still pretty good. The spielecke for the kids is a nice touch. But was overcrowded on a sunday afternoon. Would save it for a visit in calmer times when the kids can play and I can eat in peace and not worry about my kid getting trampled 😆

Unfortunately, this location has extremely poor service. There were plenty of free tables, but the queue to get in was consistently ignored or arrogantly examined by the service. Unfortunately we couldn't enjoy the burgers...

We waited over 45 minutes after eating because no one came. You weren't noticed and you couldn't pay for ages. In addition, it permanently attracted cactus. The food was delicious but unfortunately the time afterwards was unbearable! The meal cost a total of €36 and we paid with a €50 note. We were asked if we could make it 40 (basically a €4 tip). Basically strange and especially after all the “well service”!

Very cozy restaurant in the heart of the city of Munich with excellent cuisine. We chose the lunch menu and were very satisfied; The dishes (Burger Wild West and Geisburger) as well as the fries were delicious. The menu was rounded off with a thirst quencher - including grapefruit, passion fruit and thyme - and finally a coffee. The service was very friendly and accommodating and everything was reasonably priced. (Unfortunately, what won't be more expensive?) Hans im Glück is always a great address when it comes to local food.

So far Hans im Glück branch with the worst, slowest and most inefficient service. Long waiting times despite too many staff, some of whom either stand around or only show up irregularly. Our waitress was very nice and appropriately dressed, other staff not so much.

It is a chain with various stores in the city. It is a burger joint with a very large variety and excellent quality. Nothing to do with fast food. It deserves the visit of those who find themselves in the city. The prices are a bit steep, but they are justified by the quality.

I really like the burgers there, and the homemade lemonade always tastes very good, but the non-alcoholic Hugo wasn't that tasty. 😅 Unfortunately, I didn't think the service was that great, we had to wait quite a long time for the food and in between times no one was actually interested in us and asked if everything was good and if we needed anything else. I always think that's a shame, just a small request, it makes you feel like you're in good hands and seen. Unfortunately, this is not the first time that the service is not good. Otherwise definitely recommended, maybe the service will be worked on a bit more. ☺️

This is the 2nd time we have eaten here... Love the place when we visit Munich ... We were here in Nov 2022 and Dec 2024... It always tastes good and is always a friendly environment... Eat Lunch or Dinner ... You need to stop here... And grab a bite....

Good enough. Burgers are average (Fast food level) and I believe they could be much better. I even ordered Hochstapler, but I wasn't impressed at all:( Staff has huge issues with English, speed and manners.
