Lots and lots of food! Huge portions. Tasty food🥰

Since we chose the barbecue version here, unfortunately I can't rate the dishes. However, I can say that the seafood and meat were very fresh and the side dishes were super tasty! The service was always attentive and friendly. However, it was very loud in the restaurant, which is due to the size of the place. Nevertheless, it is highly recommended!

I’m not a local, but I’m here on vacation and had an amazing experience at this fantastic restaurant. The staff is incredibly friendly, the food is delicious, and the ambiance is wonderful. The atmosphere adds to the overall charm. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Korean cuisine!

Wir waren mit Freunden im Hanmi auf St. Pauli. Der koreanische Grill am Tisch machte das Essen zu einem kleinen Event, was für eine gesellige und unterhaltsame Atmosphäre sorgte. Kulinarisch war das Ganze in Ordnung, allerdings blieben geschmackliche Highlights aus – für einen Wow-Effekt hätte es ein bisschen mehr sein dürfen. Besonders positiv in Erinnerung geblieben ist uns die deutsche Bedienung, die für uns zuständig war. Mit seiner lockeren Art trug er dazu bei, dass wir uns wohlgefühlt haben. Allerdings gab es auch einen unschönen Vorfall: Während unseres Besuchs wurde einem Kellner offenbar die Geldtasche entrissen. Ein Ereignis, das uns wieder daran erinnerte, dass St. Pauli trotz seiner Lebendigkeit und Anziehungskraft ein Viertel bleibt, in dem man wachsam sein sollte. Fazit: Für ein geselliges Erlebnis mit Freunden ist das Han Mi durchaus eine Option – vor allem, wenn man den koreanischen Grill selbst ausprobieren möchte. Doch kulinarisch darf man die Erwartungen nicht zu hoch ansetzen. Eher 3,5 Punkte

Really fantastic food and a cozy atmosphere.

Four of us used the table grill. We had marinated roast beef, marinated boneless chicken thighs, seafood and vegetables. There were also 3 sauces, 6 side dishes, lettuce leaves and rice, all of which could be ordered free of charge. The service was very attentive (the grill grate was replaced 3 times because burnt marinade was stuck to it) and yet unobtrusive. Preparing it on the table grill was fun and the food was delicious. For dessert we have and Shared mango ice cream, which was also extremely tasty. We had a great evening and will definitely come back.

It was our first time here and we weren't particularly impressed. It took almost half an hour to place our order. Apparently we had been forgotten because orders were constantly being taken around us. The food came very quickly, but we weren't impressed either. I had a stew with glass noodles and beef in which you had to look for the meat with a magnifying glass. My wife's dish was okay, but not great in our opinion. Overall just an average restaurant.

When it comes to Korean BBQ in Hamburg, this restaurant is the absolute number one for us! The bulgogi is simply heavenly – juicy, perfectly marinated and a real treat. It's our go-to spot when we're craving authentic Korean food. Yummy! The prices are a bit above average, but the quality of the food totally makes up for it. A definite recommendation for anyone who loves Korean cuisine or wants to get to know it! P.S. Have the snowflake ice cream for dessert. Absolute recommendation!

Good quality meat and great service!

A good place with Korean Cousine. The place looks nice and neat but does look a bit old. The menu is very diverse with good selection of different dishes and drinks. Quality of products is also very good. Food comes out fast, is tasty and also they serve a set of small different appetizers and soup. We went there for lunch and it was very chilly and good atmosphere.

Absolutely delicious barbecue, our first time trying Korean BBQ and the staff was very helpful and nice. The food was delicious and we enjoyed everything including the kimchi pancakes and the desserts.

It was our first time eating Korean food and it was great! We ordered different dishes from the menu. To relax, it is advisable to reserve a table. We didn't have a reservation and unfortunately had to leave after 1.5 hours... but that was fine with us.

The food is really ok, we didn't grill ourselves, but everything came out of the kitchen perfectly. The service is really good. Always attentive and friendly. Afterwards it smells grilled. But this simply cannot be prevented with table grills. The cupboards didn't help either. But in the end the restaurant is a recommendation.

Good food and a great restaurant. The service was great! Very accommodating and very helpful. I can only recommend a visit! Price is ok for the quantity. However, with four people, we needed at least four portions. But rice and side dishes are replenished. Actually, everyone gets full. 😊

We visited on 2 consecutive evenings because the food, service and premises are really great. We enjoyed very good food and were treated very kindly. Absolutely great... We would like to come back the next time we visit Hamburg...

Better food than the Koreans in Düsseldorf

Very tasty Korean BBQ and also great mango bingsu for dessert. Unfortunately, the lettuce leaves were not washed very well... but when asked, they were replaced immediately.

Very friendly, good service, nice atmosphere. Without a reservation for the two of us, we got a table on Sunday when the restaurant opened, but we wouldn't have needed it without the grill. When you drink, you get the largest specified amount if you don't say anything. Conclusion: very fine and enough eaten and priced at 30 per person. very inexpensive and recommended.

We had dinner at Han Mi as a group of girls on Friday evening. Unfortunately our BBQ was interrupted 5 times because our grill kept breaking down. Unfortunately, this was very disruptive for roasting meat and eating comfortably. When we got our Aperol, the whole tray landed on me. Beige clothes, white top, white shoes. Of course the waitress apologized and I accepted the apology. But that was the end of the evening for me. Of course we also had plans for a Friday evening and wanted to move on to the neighborhood. That was the end of it for me because I was soaking wet. Really a shame. But I don't understand why they don't even offer to clean my clothes as a gesture of goodwill after such a situation or give out the round of Aperol that landed on me or or or! Especially since we left almost €200 behind. This is an absolute nonsense. My evening was over and I was allowed to drive home soaking wet and now I have to see for myself how I can get the light-colored clothes clean again. I'm really angry and something like this shouldn't happen.

I ate barbeque 🤩 Korean barbecue. I loved that. They have a special table for barbeque and we make it all alone just like on k-dramas 🥰 While leaving I heard the Rosie's and Bruno's song ATP 😍😍 I love that atmosphere!!!!!!!

This was our first Korean BBQ and all I can say is it's worth it! We grilled the meat and vegetables right at our table. You get a short briefing and then the table is set and you can get started. It was really delicious and plentiful too! The three of us had two portions of different meat and one portion of vegetables. You get various side dishes in small bowls that could even have been refilled for free, but that wasn't necessary. It's really something different because you eat your food little by little and don't eat it all straight away. The three of us paid 100 euros with a tip (4 drinks) and we thought the price was really okay! The staff was also super friendly. We'll be back! :)

It feels like Hwangsol Village in Korea~

Price is surprisingly high (2 people €100) but value for money is right. Good idea for a date if both love meat. Not recommended for vegetarians or vegans.

We just had Korean food for the first time. We absolutely loved it. We grilled our own food at the table. Because it takes a while, we ended up feeling full rather than typically devouring everything. This also has a completely new character and offers a really nice shared experience. Everything tasted really good and the waitresses were really nice. The price was also really cheap. The two of us “only” paid €60. We thought it was great and can only recommend the restaurant. A small point of criticism may be the noise level.

We spontaneously decided on this restaurant today and were not disappointed. Grilling at the table was fun and the meat and sides were delicious. An absolute recommendation and something completely different.

From the opening on Rentzelstr. to guests in this restaurant. Since moving to Kleine Seilerstr. usually only at lunchtime with pickup, as it is very loud and chaotic in the new rooms. For cost reasons, the pork in the popular schnitzel has long been replaced by chicken. What is sporty is that in the summer of 2024, with falling inflation, the dishes on the lunch menu increased by a good 25% (from 9.80 to 12.50). It can't be the fault of the service, it doesn't exist at lunchtime: you order at the counter, take the drinks out of the cupboard yourself, take cutlery and glasses to the table and pick up the food from the counter. And when you pick it up, the VAT is still 7%! It would be nice if this was thought about again, for example about a collection discount.

Everything is made possible here! Before our musical we reserved a table at Han-Mi. Due to a combination of several things, our turn was 50 minutes later. We asked at the entrance if we could eat within 25 minutes and the waiter said it might be tight. What can I say, the food came in no time, it was absolutely delicious and the service was simply fantastic! (And we made it to the musical in time too!) We'll definitely be back!

Es kann nur so beschrieben werden, es ist ein asiatisches Lokal, welches aber anders ist wie dei meisten, dieses Lokal, ob nun das Personal, das Ambiente und natürlcih das leckere Essen bestimmen das ganze vor Ort, weiter so und ganz lieben Gruß ans Team !

Unfortunately we were very disappointed. Unfortunately the meat quality wasn't the best. The side dishes for the grill are very rare. There was only a small bowl of rice each additional €2. The music was too loud and didn't match the food. RnB and hip hop. The menus were all stuck together and some were not legible. Hygienically a no go for us. The benches were all broken and the artificial leather was torn. The soap was empty in the toilet.

We discovered this Korean by chance and stopped in here after our visit to the musical. We had glass noodles with beef, a bowl of salmon and, for dessert, sweet potatoes with honey and ice cream with coffee. Everything was very freshly prepared and tasted excellent. The hot sauce provided was really good spicy too. The waitresses were very friendly, not too intrusive, but always with a look at the table if you had any questions. When we're back in Hamburg, we'll definitely be happy to do it again!

He trabajado en Corea y vivo en Chicago, donde tenemos una gran diáspora coreana y muchos excelentes restaurantes coreanos. Dicho esto, calificaría a Hanmi como verdaderamente “de clase mundial”, y a un precio bastante razonable. Cualquiera que le dé a este restaurante menos de 5 * probablemente no haya aclimatado su paladar a la cocina coreana. Se necesita tiempo y experiencia para desarrollar el gusto por esta tradición culinaria verdaderamente única. Consejo profesional: Puede ser extremadamente difícil conseguir una mesa para la cena debido a la extrema demanda popular (fracasamos 3 de 3 intentos), pero hemos tenido una tasa de éxito del 100 % durante el ciclo de almuerzo.

It was so delicious that I thought this was Korea while I was eating it. I had the beef bulgogi lunch special on Tuesday, and the texture was a bit disappointing because it wasn't sliced ​​as thinly as in Korea, but it was still delicious!! The portion size was really large.. The soup that day was a bit bland, but all the side dishes were delicious. I also had red bean shaved ice, and wow, the snowflake shaved ice was just as good as Sulbing.. Two chewy red bean rice cakes are also included. No matter what you order here, it's a store with the basics. Are Germans picky about ratings? Someone said it was delicious but made me wait for 15 minutes. No problem at all. There are quite a few Germans in the store than I thought. I want to come every day...

The food was very tasty, I recommend the marinated meat, simply divine. The service was great, there is a family atmosphere, they even bring small plates and cutlery for small children (my daughter is 2 years old). The price we paid was reasonable. I can completely recommend it! 🤗

Unfortunately, the dishes that are available with sweet and sour sauce are not labeled. Unfortunately, I had one of those. So I complained, they didn't make me an offer. What a shame! So be sure to ask where you can get which sauce. The kimchi pancake was my absolute highlight!

Overall the experience was okay, but I wasn't particularly impressed with it. The young gentleman who served us was very friendly and accommodating. Even though he accidentally served us the wrong dish, he immediately offered to swap it. Since we had already eaten half of it, we declined the offer. He still remained helpful and showed understanding without feeling uncomfortable. The young lady, on the other hand, reacted less politely and only commented: “And you only noticed that now?” – a somewhat cheeky remark. In terms of value for money, I found it to be rather average; the prices seemed a bit high to me. Although the restaurant is located on the Reeperbahn, which could explain the higher prices, the overall price level still seemed too high to me.

Sehr aufmerksame und freundliche Bedienung. Essen sehr authentisch, ich war oft in Korea und habe den Vergleich. Das Fleisch vom Grill war zart und schmackhaft. Das Kimchi war für die Europäer abgemildet 😉. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Great place with great authentic Korean food. We've been there with the work colleagues and had a lot of fun. I got myself a bibimbap with beef that came together with a soup, a kimchi pancake and an aloe juice. All dishes were great.

Same with starter and dessert. The ice snow in particular was something we had never tried before but really excited us. The selection of drinks is also great! Wer die authentische koreanische Küche genießen möchte der ist im Hanmi auf St. Pauli absolut richtig. Von der U-Bahn Station kommend an den tanzenden Türmen vorbei befindet sich das Hanmi in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße. Mein Gericht (Meeresfrüchte gebraten) war extrem lecker. Über die Schärfe habe ich mich zuvor beraten lassen; etwas dezenter, hat dem Geschmack aber nicht beeinflusst. Sechs verschiedene Beilagen und Reis sind mit dabei. Geschmacklich sehr gut. Eine absolute Empfehlung und auch preislich gerecht (Preis lag beica. 20 €). Das Lokal ist meist gut besucht, ich habe auch ohne vorherige Reservierung einen Platz bekommen. Bitte Zeit zum genießen mitbringen.

The food was so-so from my experience as I thought that the main dish was bad, but the side dishes were fine. Alert: Korean BBQ is only available at dinner time as they told me. Alert 2: It's self service which means that it you have to take and return the food yourself.

2 years ago I had the worst culinary experience of my life. I have the luck of tasting the worst noodles, no taste-cold-slimy mass. If you like no taste this is your place.

We were the last customers to order, just before the kitchen closed. Nevertheless, everyone was so welcoming and didn't make us feel unwelcome in the slightest. On the contrary, every single service person was so, so warm! We didn't wait long, everything was served at the same time and it was really delicious. I can only warmly recommend it. It reminded us so much of our Korea trip. Just great!!
