Excellent specialties! The KFCs are tasty, juicy, and fresh. Plus, a drink and all those Korean BBQ wraps. On a sunny summer day! A must-try for every Korean food lover. Highly recommended! The prices are also very reasonable.

We were visiting Hamburg and looking for an Asian restaurant. We did a bit of online browsing and found it here. And it was a great decision. It's small but nice. No frills. Simply simple. And it was fantastic. We ordered takeout. It was packed. That's saying something. A very nice lady took our order and handed us the food. We opened the box at the hotel and enjoyed it. It was incredibly delicious. Thank you 🙏🏻 We'd love to come back.

Alright I’m back in my hometown of Hamburg, Germany and getting to find some gems of Korean Fried Chicken…This place is like a hole-in-the-wall but boy those flavours. I can’t lie, we had fried chicken with wasabi infused spices, sweet and sour, and a teriyaki based sauce. The portions were out of this world. Mind you, we were rolling 4 deep and each of us can eat like the New York Giants O-line😂😂😂….Overall the place is a good place for getting a quality meal and enjoying some succulent chicken.

This was my second visit. I remember having Japchae Rice and Soy Sauce Chicken last time—it was so delicious that I finished every bite. This time, I was craving fried chicken, so I got a takeout order. Even at home, the chicken was perfectly crispy and delicious. The restaurant opens at 5 PM, but they need some time to prepare, so it’s good to keep that in mind and visit a bit later.

I had dinner in this small but lovely shop today. The “restaurant” was full except for one table so I was lucky enough to be able to sit down. This is exactly how I imagine a small street food restaurant in Korea! Simply great! The food was definitely not cheap but really good portions 😎. The service is incredibly friendly. I can only recommend it!

Das Essen 5 von 5 Authentisches, leckeres Korean Fried Chicken beispielsweise das einfach nur gut ist! Freundlichkeit dagegen war nicht vorhanden. Als Gast fühlt man sich eher als Umstand und nicht willkommen. Da das Essen aber so unfassbar gut ist, nimmt man die Unfreundlichkeit als Herausforderung!

Thw food was way better than what we expected, because from a first glance the place looks so small and even a bit shady, but honestly they had the best fried chicken I've ever tasted. The waiters were also super friendly, I highly recommend!

You must order the fried chicken when you come here! Really crispy and delicious! The highlight is the huge plate of greasy pickled radish! 🥹 Jajangmyeon is also very similar to the takeout in Korea. It is very delicious ~ perfect with fried chicken sauce! 😍 It is recommended to sit outside! Because the smell inside is too strong~ I just went to the toilet and all my clothes were covered with oil smoke😀

Another easy review, I'm telling you. The Yangnyeom Chicken is highly recommended. The sauce is too mild for my taste, but it is very tasty and I order it with a portion of rice every time I visit. The negative points: no card payment possible and sometimes you have to wait almost an hour for a seat. But you can see that the snack bar is very popular.

Today I had what is supposed to be the best crispy fried chicken in Hamburg. It's true. Fantastic. Crispy. Fresh. Spicy. Delicious. That wasn't the last time. I took the food with me. The restaurant itself is a bit uncomfortable. Prices are ok. You get a whole chicken with bones. ☆☆☆☆☆

I stopped by because I wanted to eat Korean food while traveling in Europe, and it was really delicious! I want to come again next time!

Were here as tourists because of the good reviews, so here are my impressions. I'm a bit conflicted. The taste was good, no better or worse than comparable ones. Price was reasonable for what was offered. The staff was very friendly and they made an effort. We just picked it up and everything was fine. Unfortunately only cash payment, no card, no Wepay, no receipt. It was inappropriate for us because we generally never carry cash with us and it is not clear that only cash is accepted. Actually a good, tasty snack, more of a restaurant than a snack bar.

As a self proclaimed fried chicken lover, gotta say it is the closest I have come to good KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) here in Hamburg. But it makes sense, the restaurant feels like a little bit of Korean in the middle of Germany. As you would expect, after eating there, you will undoubtedly smell like a weird mixture of garlic, smoke and fat (in the best way possible) just like god intended after visiting such a place (just make sure to wear clothes you are not planning on wearing the next day). The KFC is always crispy and hot, with 3 sauced options and a plain one (if you want to try all, you can ask for a 3way plate). While not having a huge selection of KBBQ, they do have the classic pork belly and bulgogi. They also have the Korean-Chinese staples of Jjajangmyeon, Champong and Tangsuyuk, classic staples such as soups and stews, and even some items where I was really suprised to find them here in Germany (a wonderful gelatinous pig skin dish).

They are sometimes unfriendly and annoying about additional requests, the air is full of grease, the tables and utensils are not clean, and like some other Korean restaurants, they only accept cash. Even taking everything into account, the chicken here is the best in Germany... everything can be forgiven as soon as you take the first bite. But the problem is that the other foods are also very delicious. They serve the most chicken and radish in Hamburg. Kimchi is served.

Apparently one of the best fried chicken in Hamburg. I have been to Korea myself and would question the authenticity. We were very disappointed here. The restaurant smells a lot like grease and you couldn't stand it for long. The service wants everything quickly and doesn't respond to questions. The fried chicken was acceptable and not really good, and the other dishes were very bland. I ordered the ramyun and bibimbap, both of which were extremely tasteless and without any seasoning. For seasoning there was chilli powder, which wasn't really spicy, and soy sauce, so I had to season some of my dishes with it, but it still didn't taste really good. For the sake of order, I would like to mention that in (South) Korea people like to eat spicy and spicy food. I can't understand all the positive reviews. I would hate to mention the competition, but all I will say is that the competition is similar in price, offers significant differences in ambience and has better quality of food. You definitely shouldn't eat here. Unfortunately, the food was also heavy on the stomach, which is directly related to the food.

A second time doesn't necessarily have to be the case.

I don't know how all these good reviews come about. We had to wait quite a long time for our food, even though (in our opinion) there wasn't much going on. Based on a recommendation, we tried the Korean fried chicken. Unfortunately it was the worst Korean Fried Chicken I have ever eaten in Hamburg. It was chewy and there were some bones in the chicken that you don't normally get served when you order Korean fried chicken.

Nice store with homemade style dishes. Order at the counter and take drinks from the fridge yourself, because the owners will be busy cooking and serving the food to the tables. If you go there to eat you shouldn’t wear any fancy clothes, as you will smell like food after dining in ;)

I had high expectations because of the good reviews... The food wasn't bad, but the price was also Imbis, so it wasn't cheap and they weren't particularly friendly. It's not a large amount. I was disappointed. I had jjamppong, but it had a lot of peppers, the jjajang was mediocre, and the seasoned chicken was expensive and the taste was just so-so. First of all, communication was not smooth. I thought they were Koreans.

There are options to order Korean fried chicken mixed in different variations or individually as a portion. In this case half chilli sauce, half garlic soy. There is also radish. Attention, payment by cash only. No parking and only 20-30 seats inside.

The atmosphere is simple but the food is very fresh and tastes very tasty, we will definitely come back.

Traditional Korean cuisine, excellent fried chicken, the price seems a little high but it's a portion large enough for two people. Really friendly staff, open kitchen. It fills up quickly as the place has few tables, so it takes a while for the dishes to come out. During the weekend there is a long wait outside the door. But I have to say that I really felt the Korean culture behind every dish.

Based on the reviews and recommendations, I ordered Korean Chicken here. After a wait of 35 minutes, I got my food. They simply look great and also taste very good. However, they are not boneless. There's more bone than flesh. Which is a total shame. Furthermore, I would not recommend eating the food there, but rather taking it with you. The atmosphere is definitely not inviting and not clean either.

You have to experience it yourself. Authentic as a term is not enough here. Plus the best Korean fried chicken I've eaten so far. It's worth the queue and the wait!

Incredibly disrespectful owner!! I ate at this snack bar with my friend last Sunday. Preliminary: We had tried to get a table three times before, but were always turned away in an extremely unfriendly manner. Since we heard that the food was very tasty, we wanted to try it at least once. Top: The food: - we had Korean fried chicken, bibimbap with pork and rice cakes in very spicy sauce. - It was really tasty! Flop: The “service” aka the owner of the snack bar! As briefly noted above, we have had bad experiences in this regard when it came to just getting a place; we were always rudely turned away. - If you enter the store, which is much too small, and just want to ask briefly whether it would be possible to get a seat at the moment, you will be rudely told that you should just wait outside without any further information. When it was our turn, the owner actually wanted to let a young couple in before us, who were obviously behind us in line. Only when she pointed out that we had been there before did she give us a place that was still full from the previous people. We waited for about 30 minutes and no one had cleared the table until we asked for it after a long time. When we wrote down our order ourselves on paper, we had to wait about an hour until our food was finally ready to be picked up. In fact, only 2/3 of the dishes were finished. We started eating, and while we were almost finished with both dishes, the bibimbap finally arrived. During the meal (we had clearly spent a lot of time there) we were able to observe how Korean guests in particular were obviously preferred here: - everything came to the table much faster than ours. (There were guests who came to the restaurant later than we did) - the other guests actually got their food at the table, we had to pick everything up at the counter ourselves. - From start to finish, we weren't even asked if everything was OK with us, but the other (Korean) guests were. - We didn't have any cutlery or anything like that at the table; when we asked, the things were sloppily slammed onto the table. - When we asked if we would get another plate so that all the bones could be stored there, napkins from the neighboring table were rudely thrown onto our table. Even our table neighbors apparently took pity and kindly gave us one of their plates. The owner's tone was out of touch with us for the entire evening we spent there, and she even seemed aggressive to us. Sure, we knew that it was just a snack bar and not a restaurant, we work in the catering industry ourselves and know that the job is stressful and can understand some things more or turn a blind eye. But what we experienced in this snack bar was an absolute disgrace and, in our opinion, a no-go! Good food or not, but we felt absolutely uncomfortable, rather unwanted. We, ourselves employees in the restaurant, find it very derogatory when guests don't leave a cent tip at the end of their visit, but we really couldn't leave a cent tip that evening because we and the owner were treated so incredibly disrespectfully of the restaurant also have to understand that something like this has consequences! Regardless of whether it is a restaurant or a snack bar, you should be able to show a certain humanity, which for me also includes respectful treatment, especially when dealing with customers. I would even have liked to give zero stars, but it wouldn't be fair to the food, which was really tasty, but not good enough to make me want to put up with the poor treatment again. Finally not a run-of-the-mill Asian, even if the name would suggest it. We really loved the food.

Don't judge a book by its cover! Weaving between the construction sites on the other side of the street, we saw the East Asian snack bar in front of us. Rather whack on the outside, but Digga, the food is the Mjölnir! Because there is a lack of staff, it can sometimes take longer... a small setback, but still great! The rather inconspicuous Korean is a real secret first pick with its selection of bulgogi, grill, soups, chicken etc.! We had ordered the homemade popular doublefried crispy Korean chikin to take away, half-and-half, soy sauce and sweet-spicy. There was also the pickled radish and handmade kimchi. Unfortunately nice! Price performance top! The two of us cracked the chikin and were completely full.

The Korean Fried Chicken is very good. The pork belly is also really good. Points deducted for the extractor hood. After eating here, you smell like you've been in the deep fryer yourself. But you can do that for the fried chicken. I will do it again...

I came to eat alone at noon and ordered a beef bibimbap and a fried chicken with chives and soy sauce. The specialty of this restaurant is that kimchi is added to the bibimbap, so the taste is a bit sour. The chive fried chicken is actually mustard flavored, just with shredded green onions on top of the mustard fried chicken. The fried chicken at this restaurant uses whole chickens, including drumsticks, wings, and breasts, without removing the bones. In addition, the quality of the paste at this store is relatively good and the thickness is appropriate. There is only an old Korean couple running the store, there are no waiters, and they only accept cash. And it is an open kitchen, so the smell of oil smoke is quite strong. There is also a TV broadcasting Korean news.

Ignore the confused Germans ..I’ve eaten fried chicken in southern states, New York and Chicago but this fried chicken has to be the best incredibly crispy and delicious. The kimchi jigae is banging too.

I love this place for the authentic feel and in particular their incredible korean fried chicken. If you don‘t know it you have to try it - best with an ice cold beer. I have to admit I haven‘t tried anything else from their menu. I always end up ordering „Chicken & Beer“ only because I love it so much.

Von außen betrachtet rechnet man nicht mit so einem leckeren koreanischen Imbiss. Man muss zwar etwas warten, da das Essen immer frisch zubereitet wird. Aber es lohnt sich.

Sehr authentisches koreanisches Essen zu fairen Preisen mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Auch wenn auf den ersten Blick das Essen teuer wirkt, sind die Portionen sehr groß und man kann sich die Reste einpacken lassen.
