Everything here deserves an 11 out of 10. We spontaneously decided to eat this evening and were kindly shown to the bar. We found it so cozy that when we were offered a table a short time later, we politely declined. The service and the food were simply fantastic! Thank you for the wonderful, spontaneous evening.

The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was quick and friendly. The selection of draft beers could be larger.

I haven't eaten there yet, but I've gotten takeaway several times. Friendly staff, short wait times, and good food. If you want to eat Korean food, this is definitely the place to go.

A beautifully decorated shop serving Korean food. The food is tasty and good. Some dishes could be improved, and currently the price-performance ratio isn't quite optimal.

Amazing food and good prices. Especially the sesame garlic chili sauce stood out to me, as well as the starters. Drinks are quite pricey though.

We (a couple on a short trip) spontaneously came across this restaurant while searching for a place to eat. The ambiance is lovely, a blend of modern and traditional. The service was quick and very friendly. 10/10! The food arrived quickly and was incredibly delicious. We ordered two of the lunch specials and arrived just before 3:00 PM. Dessert was also a delightful little surprise; I've rarely had such good baked bananas. The snow-white dessert was also a complete surprise! Therefore, the food also gets a 10/10. The only minor drawback is the restrooms. While very clean, their appearance doesn't quite match the otherwise beautiful restaurant. Excellent value for money! We'll definitely visit again! Really good food and environment. The prices are usually in the 13-18€ range so really good value for what you order. I had a bowl of rice with vegetables and chicken and it was so delicious, one of the best foods I’ve had in Germany.

We've been coming to Yong regularly for two years now and have never left disappointed – quite the opposite! The staff is always very friendly and attentive. Whether you have a reservation or not, they always make an effort to find you a table, and even during peak hours, the wait is always manageable. The food arrives quickly, is of high quality, and tastes fantastic. I especially love the tofu dishes – both Dop Bab and Bibimbap. If you still have room for dessert, you absolutely must try the fried banana! The portions are generous, and the value for money is truly excellent. We will continue to come back again and again and look forward to our visit every time.

A good Korean restaurant towards the centre of Hamburg. The most authentic Korean food I’ve eaten in Germany (which isn’t an extensive sample size). I was eating with a large group of colleagues and the service was really good. The atmosphere felt a bit flat but it’s tricky when you’re serving such large groups. I would certainly go again if I was nearby.

Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. The Korean fried chicken was very tough and resembled a breaded, instant schnitzel. The sauce tasted a bit like instant sauce. The kimchi was okay, but overall, the dish unfortunately didn't meet my expectations. For the price, I would have expected better quality.

Really delicious, the staff is fast, and the place is... It's quite noisy, and the restrooms could be improved! Their success proves them right. It's packed during the week, and reservations are mandatory from 6 p.m. onwards!

The food is great! The acoustics in the room are catastrophic! It borders on physical assault, especially for that stuff... For us, it's only outside.

I was there again after a long time and noticed that the quality has declined significantly. If you order Korean chicken, you get a schnitzel. The side dishes used to be better. Even the plain water was disappointing, as it's filled from a larger bottle and the water simply tastes stale because the carbonation has already disappeared. A real shame!

Today, I went to YONG Korean with my family for the first time. We were all extremely satisfied! Excellent food, excellent service, and a super pleasant outdoor area. We'll definitely be back.

The food was delicious and we enjoyed it. The service was also okay. It was difficult to get the waiter's attention. Even if it wasn't your table, you should still keep your eyes open as you walk through the restaurant. We wanted to order something, but our waitress hadn't arrived for a while, and her colleagues overlooked us.

Korean Fried Chicken is very solid, although not as good as other options in town.

Completely disappointing. We've been going there regularly for lunch because the food was always very good. However, on our last visit, we arrived at 2:58 PM. When we tried to order at 3:01 PM, we were told that the lunch menu was no longer available – simply because we'd ordered a minute late. The reason given was that the kitchen would otherwise react angrily. In my opinion, this is absolutely outrageous. This was definitely our last visit.

It's normal for prices to rise these days, but compared to the beginning, it's unfortunately no longer particularly affordable for a casual meal in the neighborhood. At lunchtime, the selection is still unbeatable, and the quality of the food is always very good.

I was passing through Hamburg and ordered something to pick up from Yong. The service was extremely friendly. Since it took a few minutes longer, I was treated to a Yuza lemonade. Very tasty. Now for the food: The Dak Gangjeong was probably the best (at least top 3) chicken I've ever eaten in my life. Incredibly aromatic and fresh. We also really enjoyed the other dishes ‼️ Highly recommended

Huge place with a super cool atmosphere. Extremely fast and helpful service. Starters were great, but then had a fried chicken dish where the chicken mostly looked and tasted like sliced McNuggets 😅 Probably just a bad choice of dish - so, would come back to try something different.

A truly successful visit to YONG Korean in the Schanze district! For starters, we had edamame with sea salt and the Oi-Muchim cucumber salad, both super fresh and delicately seasoned. After that, we had bibimbap and dop bap as main courses, which were delicious, beautifully presented, and truly filling. The combination of crunchy vegetables, spicy sauces, and fluffy rice was exactly my cup of tea. The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The stylish, modern ambiance also contributes to the relaxed atmosphere. I'm already looking forward to my next visit; I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys modern Korean cuisine!

I've been a regular customer for years – the food is good, and we come regularly as a family. My husband is Korean, and we highly appreciate Korean cuisine and have often recommended the restaurant. This time I was there with friends who were visiting from another city and were looking forward to Korean food. The service was all the more disappointing. I ordered "Japchae" correctly, but the waiter wrote down the wrong number and repeated it – unfortunately, I didn't notice it at the time. An experienced waiter who knows his menu could have noticed and pointed it out to me. The incorrect dish was later brought by another waiter, with whom all communication was conducted. The original waiter never showed up again. Instead, the manager came to the table several times, repeatedly called me a liar, and his tone was very inappropriate – all for an appetizer that cost €8.50. It's a real shame – not because of the food, but because of the disrespectful treatment of guests.

Friendly and fast service, the food came quickly and tasted good. If you're hungry, you'll get your fill here.

I went to Yong Korean for the first time today based on a recommendation. Unfortunately, my fried chicken was inedible. It had a hard texture and tasted incredibly fishy/seafoody. I don't understand why they use the same fryer for it. It was inedible for me. There are plenty of alternatives these days where the fried chicken doesn't taste like fish.

Unfortunately, it was disappointing. The service was a bit overwhelmed. However, it was always friendly and pleasant. The food came before the drinks. I had the crispy chicken breast. It was completely dry, had little flavor, and was barely edible.

The Korean food or Asian food in general in Germany are pretty whitewashed, so this restaurant is quite catering to the local taste than what actual Korean food is like - the bimbibap is not like the ones I had before. And we also ordered the beef on top of rice, it was very sweet and oily. The staff are professional and friendly though, the atmosphere is good. It is good for dinner with friends and family but not good for true taste

This Korean cuisine and the team are absolutely worth it. We were able to put together a whole table for a spontaneous larger group and quickly eat together despite over 10 individual orders – something we don't take for granted. We'd be happy to come back. We highly recommend the Korean chicken, bulgogi, of course, and the wonderfully crispy tofu balls with a smoky flavor, but the menu offers much more to explore!

Unfortunately, for me, this is by far the worst Korean restaurant in Hamburg, perhaps even in Germany. I've never had bad Korean fried chicken. I usually love it, but the chicken was literally rock hard. The kimchi was okay. Unfortunately, it was disappointing and not worth the money. There are better places for authentic Korean food in Hamburg. The service was nice, but as non-alcoholics, we were only offered a shot as a "sorry." I didn't even eat half of it and would have preferred not to pay for the chicken at all.

A very friendly waitress took good care of us, and the food was truly fantastically presented and delicious. Be careful, the 🌶🌶 dishes are really spicy 😄

Great ambience, service was fine for full outdoor and half full indoor. The 2-seater seats could be placed a little further apart. The yuzu lemonade was good, the Alster too a lot of sprite. With Dak-Gangjeong, the chicken could have been a little warmer, otherwise it was very good. Unfortunately, with the Bulgogi Bibimbab, both the rice and meat were only slightly warm. But will try it again when the time comes.

The food there is actually great! However, yesterday we were completely forgotten. We were there for a total of 1 1/2 hours and only had our starter and even it wasn't brought completely. Our main course was completely forgotten! The employees seemed very overwhelmed and it was just a disgrace to forget guests like that and not even be asked the entire time that everything was ok! I would have liked to just get up and leave. We were very disappointed with this service...despite the good food, unfortunately not again.

The food tastes like an expired microwave meal. The service is even worse. Derogatory behavior from the waitress is inevitable! It's better to go to another restaurant where you are welcome as a guest.

I ate at Yong and overall was very satisfied. The service was friendly and attentive. I ordered bibimbap with tofu - the portion was just right, neither too big nor too small. The tofu could have been a little juicier for my taste, it was a little too dry. However, the taste of the dish was still very good. The price-performance ratio is also good: the price is absolutely reasonable for the quality and quantity. I'd love to come back!
