The food is actually delicious. But so far I have ordered special theobokki with chicken and mozzarella 3 times and always had gastrointestinal problems afterwards. So if you have a sensitive stomach, I don't recommend this dish. Although it is very tasty. Otherwise the restaurant is nice and usually full which makes you forget. So be patient.

The decoration is nice but the place is noisy. The service was very friendly. The prices are according to the amount of food in the dishes. On the other hand, the food was not delicious, it was cold and greasy. Honestly it left a lot to be desired.

The food is very tasty, but we had to wait a whole hour for it. Even though we were the first to order, guests who arrived after us received their dishes quicker than we did. We were told it was due to the preparation of the dish. It's just strange that the customers who came after us already got the same dish. I also quickly became overstimulated due to the high volume in the restaurant. We asked whether it would be possible to move outside because of this, but this was still answered in the negative. Ultimately we decided to have the food packed to take away. This then took another 15 minutes. Despite our request to remove the mushrooms, this was forgotten and included in my order. In addition, the miso soup that comes with the main course was left out. This is of course very annoying for the price. Delicious food, but the waiting time and the circumstances unfortunately spoiled the overall impression.

A super delicious Korean in the middle of Hamburg! One of my favorite restaurants on the shoulder blade with friendly staff! In summer you can also sit on the terrace here! There is a selection of different Korean dishes. All dishes were super tasty and individually special! I would love to come back!

Wow, what a great shop.. Service was very friendly and super fast, food was great and the shop itself is really nicely decorated.. I tried tofu for the first time and it tasted great. The menu has a lot of veggi dishes and there are great aperitifs. Only the fact that the food was on the table before we had drinks was a bit stupid. We'll definitely be back.

I went to the Korean restaurant for the first time. Very tasty, large portion of chicken with various vegetables in soy garlic sauce, not too spicy for me, a beginner. I'll come back to the Schanzenviertel and try harder things. Only recommended.

The price is a bit high but I'm probably used to Berlin standards. However, the food was delicious but you really have to pay extra for everything here. More fusion cuisine with the bao burgers and the baked banana on the menu. The meat was nice and tender and well marinated. Maybe a little too much meat.

I got Dak-Gangjeong Dop Bab (sweet-spicy) with rice. The portion sizes were good. Even though the flavor of the chicken was not bad, it was a bit dry. The rice was kind of cold and dry as well. The side dishes were bland and not crunchy. In general it didn’t give me the impression that my food wasn’t freshly prepared. However, the servers were very kind and the interior beautifully arranged. Overall I did not like the food though

Absolute recommendation! We had the 41, 42, & 43 and they were all delicious! We had called in advance, but they said you didn't have to make a reservation for 9 p.m. for 4 people. We would definitely come back :) Deduction: the mate iced tea tasted like almost nothing.

We ordered dishes number 43 (above) and 47 (below) and both were very tasty. We tried to make a reservation over the phone, but the employee said it was not possible. We arrived at the restaurant around 7pm, which was very wise as a long line of customers soon formed and waited standing up. Due to high demand, the dishes took a while to be brought to us. The food was tasty and the price was very fair for the amount served. I would definitely go back to the restaurant!

We became aware of the restaurant through an Instagram video and spontaneously made a reservation. The service is very friendly and attentive. Price-performance is also really okay. For 2 people we paid 55 euros with a tip. The food was freshly prepared, beautifully presented and tasted great. You can sit outside and watch the hustle and bustle of the Schanzenviertel.

Delicious! Landed here by chance and we were lucky to get a table. All dishes are incredibly good! The homemade mate ice tea is also the best I've ever had. The service is very friendly and attentive! If we come to Hamburg again, we will definitely make a reservation here 👍👍👍

Unfortunately the food was disappointing. I ordered the Bibimbab rice bowl with various vegetable side dishes, shiitake mushrooms and marinated baked tofu balls. The tofu was very tasty. However, half of the various vegetable side dishes were pickled cabbage, which is why the whole bowl unfortunately tasted like rice vinegar or something similar. It was also a pretty dry affair as there was no sauce in the bowl. The service was very friendly and the food came quickly. The ambience is visually appealing, but it creates a cafeteria atmosphere because the many people's voices echo through the large room and the high ceilings. There was also electronic music playing, which created more of a club atmosphere than that of a cozy restaurant.

I was able to spend my birthday evening at YONG and was lucky enough to have the extremely competent and personable Filippo as my service person. Everything was perfect and despite the store being full, everything went super fast! Always my pleasure!! Thanks!

It was very tasty, we ordered dish number 31, the menu they gave us had a price but it was on the “lunch menu” which is not valid on weekends. The waiter said we could order this dish because it was on another menu. We agreed and the waiter didn't say a word about the fact that this dish would be more expensive. And we only found out when we paid. That spoiled our mood.

I was here on a Sunday, the restaurant is very busy, so it's really worth making a reservation in advance. Since I have never eaten Korean food before, the dishes seemed very foreign to me. But the employee here gave me great advice and was really able to help me. The atmosphere itself is also nice, a very large store, super friendly employees. The only drawback is the music, which is cool and everything but doesn't suit the clientele that is offered here. The food is definitely a 10/10. First and foremost, it looks super aesthetic and simply tastes very, very tasty. Super fresh vegetables, the meat was simply well done and simply delicious.

I can understand that Friday evenings are booked and busy, but when you are rudely asked at 8:04 p.m. where the rest of the 8 p.m. reservation is, you actually don't feel like staying anymore. Unfortunately, the food is absolutely underwhelming and the store is far too loud. So don't be expensive and don't stress your guests. Won't be back 😘

Horrible experience, Would not repeat again! The food was meh for what it is, not to mention that the vegetarian options were lacking. The staff seemed very stressed and overworked, one of the girls there in praticular was pretty rude, she came twice to ask if we are finished yet between 5 minutes! Lady I am trying to enjoy my dessert here! Do you want my money or not? Seriously unbelievable behavior! They don't deserve the money from me! If I was alone I would have just walked out without paying no shame here.

The food is really recommended. We particularly liked the Korean dumplings as an appetizer, whether vegetarian or with meat. The main courses (Dop Bap Variationem) were also great. However, there is potential for optimization when it comes to service. We had to wait for our table and were seated at the bar. Instead of offering us a drink, the employee behind the bar just looked at us with wide eyes. After we were seated at the table it took another 15 minutes for our drinks to be taken.

The food itself was okay, we ordered bibimbap. Plus Bao Buns, where the dough was unfortunately completely hard, as if it had been sitting open for several days or the dough hadn't thawed completely yet... Bao Bun was therefore returned. The service was friendly, but it took a long time before the order was placed. He came across as a little overwhelmed. The meal also took at least half an hour, even though the shop wasn't full.

We spontaneously ate there because it looked very inviting from the outside. The dishes were all very tasty, I was particularly impressed by the cocktail with gin liqueur. We received quick and friendly service and had a lovely time there. The only points of criticism would be the design of the menu, as you often don't know what kind of dishes they are and the cleanliness of the toilets.

The food was very good, no question. But if you ask the service staff whether there is sugar in the food because it tasted sweet, the staff should be able to answer this question.

We were here on a Saturday evening and had no trouble getting a table. Luckily for us, because otherwise you generally have to make a reservation in the area to even get food. The service was fine, the food was tasty. Price/performance are fair. The chairs were very comfortable and the volume level in the restaurant felt comfortable.

Man, that was so incredibly delicious. I wasn't expecting much and it's not very cheap, but the store is usually quite busy and I thought I'd give it a try. That was worth it. My dish was fantastic. If you're willing to pay a little more, you can get really good Korean cuisine here. The map is manageable (a good sign). But above all, the lady at the service was incredibly friendly. A great visit and certainly not the last! There is also a lunch special.

YONG korean is a must when visiting Hamburg. Super delicious food and the service staff are incredibly friendly. The atmosphere is very cozy. I ate there twice during my 5 day stay because it was so good. I also think the price is absolutely right. Always happy.

I’ve been to that restaurant a few times now with my partner, and just today once I decided to bring my girls with me, they had to embarrass me in front of them. The food was BLAND. Nothing tasted half good and to top it all, one of the waitresses spelled another customer’s drink on my friend’s fur coat and they refused to compensate her for the damages. Pure disappointment honestly.

Honestly wasn’t the best korean restaurant i’ve been to. The service was fine but we felt kind of pressured to leave, as they put a sign on our table to tell us at what time we should leave. Also the 김밥 didn’t taste korean at all, it was more like 김밥 sized sushi

The food was really great but the waitress didn't work at all. You could see her underwear. She was extremely pushy and annoying. I don't think that's appropriate, especially the lady should really buy a belt. You could see all of the underwear as the butt was hanging out. Really ruined my evening. Food was very good, can't say anything bad.

Staff is friendly, interior is pretty with a spacious atmosphere without seeming like a hangar. Food is served quite quickly, but I just can't look past the fact that in terms of taste, it's not a great experience. It's not outright bad, but it seems like someone with limited experience gave their second best. I'm not a great cook, but I can make tastier dumplings, sauces and soups. The quality of the ingredients is okay. Priced like any other restaurant in the area, but not worth it IMHO. Won't be coming back... Quan 36 down the street is so much better.

We had a reservation and were taken in without problems to celebrate a friends birthday. The food was great and the lemonade even greater. I found out I don't really like Soju, but the environment made my first taste of the drink a positive experience. One of us was vegetarian and had absolutely no problem eating here. I will definitely be coming back!

Schönes Restaurant, tolles Essen, nettes Ambiente. :3 Hatte das Bibimbap mit Rind & einem Spiegelei mit (europäisch-scharfer) Gochujang. Unglaublich lecker, ich denk da seit 2 Tagen dran. Netter Service, leider sind während unseres Aufenthalts zwei Schnorrer in den Laden, die sehr freundlich vom Personal ausm' Laden geworfen wurden. Gerne wieder!

Ich dachte mir am Anfang wie geil doch das Hühnchen mit sweet und spicy ist, jedoch ist mir dann übers Gericht hinweg aufgefallen, wie sehr das Hühnchen selber mich aber nicht umhaut. Reis sehr dry, Gemüse als Beilage war okay bis teilweise für mich nicht schmackhaft, aber mein Tonic Getränk und die Mandu Suppe fand ich ganz gut. Die Bedienung war ebenfalls sehr freundlich und die zufälligen Männer die sich mit mir auf Toilette unterhalten haben, shoutout an euch

Most of the dishes I tried were delicious. I would suggest the Korean Fried chicken and the Bibimbap. Very reasonable pricing as well, and all of the waiters and waitresses who served our food were very polite.

Ich war zum Mittagessen hier. Es gibt eine Auswahl verschiedener Gerichte. Für jeden ist etwas dabei. Vorweg gibt es eine Misosuppe. Keine Offenbarung, aber durchaus OK und empfehlenswert.
