Delicious taste! Especially the vegan dishes

The food was very, very tasty. And at a great price (4 drinks and 2 main courses for 50€). The restaurant is very popular, so it's worth making a reservation on normal days. Because of the large room, it is relatively loud and crowded. But you're happy to ignore it. Highly recommended.

I think it's the best Korean in Hamburg. Good cuisine and a young audience. The price-performance ratio is also very good.

The store is always busy, but given the food and service, I'm not surprised. After a year I had dinner there again with a friend and it was incredibly tasty again. No. 43 with the soy garlic sauce is highly recommended and as painful as it is not being able to go there often. It's even better to have the feeling of eating the whole thing for the first time (after a year) 😋 We had to wait for about 5-10 minutes without a reservation, but that's okay - they also offered to sit at the bar to tide us over. After ordering, the food came super quickly and the portions are very filling.

The quality and quantity of the food was poor, but it was pretty expensive. Mild taste that I can also find in the supermarket for microwave dishes. Not a restaurant worth a second visit

Food was ok! But the atmosphere was very nice.

The crispy tofu bibimbap 10/10, but once the tofu for the pandas was too crispy and hard. But that's not always the case. Everything went well to take away.

There are differences depending on the menu. The bulgogi was the closest to Korean taste among Korean restaurants in Germany and was very delicious. My foreign friend said that this restaurant's rosé tteokbokki was much more delicious than Frankfurt BBQ's rose tteokbokki. The seasoned chicken was close to chicken gangjeong and had an average taste. The seafood pancake was a bit sour and a bit thick, probably because seafood was added to the kimchi pancake batter. The atmosphere felt more like a hip restaurant popular with young people than a Korean restaurant. Most of the customers were hip German young people. The employees seem friendly and skilled. The kangtail was delicious and not too sweet.

I love the food there, just a 10/10

Yong Koreans in the Sternschanze! Very inconspicuous restaurant that I almost overlooked. Had lunch there today, first had a miso soup, the main course was bibimbap with beef bulgogi and various salads, followed by a fried egg. The only criticism is the fried egg, it was so cold as if it came from the fridge, it should have been at least warm, the bibimbap tasted really good. But good Korean cuisine, and the prices are fair with good portions. Nice atmosphere and friendly service. A good tip in the ski jump!

Amazing food and intriguing interior design. Definitely worth a visit.

Excellent Korean restaurant in the heart of Schanze. Impossible to access on Saturday evening, however, quiet entry at 4 on Sunday evening. It's neat and good. Key Korean dishes and beautiful flavors. The place is just as nice, high ceilings, airy and nicely decorated for a fairly warm atmosphere. Crispy chicken and Bulgogi beef at the top ;)

The food was super delicious!!! It was super quick and looked pretty. Staff also tip top🙏🏻 The tteokbokki is super spicy 🤣 But you already knew that. The gimbap was so delicious oh my god! To be honest, I would have liked Korean music for the ambience 🥹

We were there on a Saturday evening and were lucky to get a free table. The restaurant is very busy, so it's definitely worth making a reservation in advance. The food tastes delicious and the prices are absolutely appropriate. The atmosphere is very nice, the waiters are super friendly and helpful when asked.

Update 10/2024 Prices have been raised again, for example by now offering a basic version of bibimbap (vegetables) and toppings such as tofu cost extra. Not long ago you could get the tofu version for the price of the "vegetable only version". It's now way too expensive for me. Very tasty food and friendly service, sometimes a bit crowded and therefore loud, but speaks for the kitchen

Extremely delicious authentic Korean food. Next time we're going to Hamburg for my birthday- The drinks were good and so was the selection. The lunch specials were great - you can never go wrong with Bibimbap. The tofu was crispy and like I haven't had in a long time. I had the Yuzu Collins and the drink was perfectly refreshing. We shared 3 dishes in addition to our bibimbap: cucumber salad, kimchi and vegan kimbap, everything was perfect to fill us up completely. The food and drinks also came out relatively quickly - which was very surprising :D The atmosphere in the restaurant was over the top beautiful with the interior design. Food was very tasty, service was ok but somehow annoying. The location is unusual. Lots of concrete.

We both had tofu dishes with rice and edamame and dumplings as starters. Starter was great. Unfortunately, the main course wasn't fresh enough, you could taste the tofu that it was over-fried. They were very hard. They probably sat unsold for a while and were fried again shortly before service. The rest was fine. Unfortunately, home-made drinks weren't our taste either, unfortunately they were far too tasteless.

I was there for the first time on Friday, unfortunately I didn't have much time, so I limited myself to an appetizer. However, this was so delicious that after the first bite I realized that I would need more time on my next visit to order the same starter plus a main course again. A clear recommendation from me. 👍

The menu could be more understandable. The staff was very positive. The products were very tasty. Since we didn't fully understand the menu, we couldn't eat exactly what we wanted and had to pay more. I was expecting a slightly more international menu.

A wonderful ambience with high ceilings and beautiful stucco. Mostly young crowd including the friendly waitresses. Very quick and easy fix. Food very tasty with lots of starters and of course with kimchi. Really recommended unless you like it quiet.

Today we ate here and we will never come back again here. Waste of money!!! I ordered the #43 Dak-Gangjeong Dop Bab and it is the driest korean chicken I ever tasted. 🤮 it even left my tounge with strange feeling because I guess the chicken is already so long cooked. It was served cold to us. There is also not enough sauce. Also the side. dishes doesn't taste good and tasted spoiled. Never ever again!

The food is actually delicious. But so far I have ordered special theobokki with chicken and mozzarella 3 times and always had gastrointestinal problems afterwards. So if you have a sensitive stomach, I don't recommend this dish. Although it is very tasty. Otherwise the restaurant is nice and usually full which makes you forget. So be patient.

The decoration is nice but the place is noisy. The service was very friendly. The prices are according to the amount of food in the dishes. On the other hand, the food was not delicious, it was cold and greasy. Honestly it left a lot to be desired.

Tasty food, but on the salty side. It is a popular and cozy restaurant, but the acoustics could be better.

The food is very tasty, but we had to wait a whole hour for it. Even though we were the first to order, guests who arrived after us received their dishes quicker than we did. We were told it was due to the preparation of the dish. It's just strange that the customers who came after us already got the same dish. I also quickly became overstimulated due to the high volume in the restaurant. We asked whether it would be possible to move outside because of this, but this was still answered in the negative. Ultimately we decided to have the food packed to take away. This then took another 15 minutes. Despite our request to remove the mushrooms, this was forgotten and included in my order. In addition, the miso soup that comes with the main course was left out. This is of course very annoying for the price. Delicious food, but the waiting time and the circumstances unfortunately spoiled the overall impression.

Wow, what a great shop.. Service was very friendly and super fast, food was great and the shop itself is really nicely decorated.. I tried tofu for the first time and it tasted great. The menu has a lot of veggi dishes and there are great aperitifs. Only the fact that the food was on the table before we had drinks was a bit stupid. We'll definitely be back.

A super delicious Korean in the middle of Hamburg! One of my favorite restaurants on the shoulder blade with friendly staff! In summer you can also sit on the terrace here! There is a selection of different Korean dishes. All dishes were super tasty and individually special! I would love to come back!

I went to the Korean restaurant for the first time. Very tasty, large portion of chicken with various vegetables in soy garlic sauce, not too spicy for me, a beginner. I'll come back to the Schanzenviertel and try harder things. Only recommended.

The price is a bit high but I'm probably used to Berlin standards. However, the food was delicious but you really have to pay extra for everything here. More fusion cuisine with the bao burgers and the baked banana on the menu. The meat was nice and tender and well marinated. Maybe a little too much meat.

One of the best restaurants in this area

I got Dak-Gangjeong Dop Bab (sweet-spicy) with rice. The portion sizes were good. Even though the flavor of the chicken was not bad, it was a bit dry. The rice was kind of cold and dry as well. The side dishes were bland and not crunchy. In general it didn’t give me the impression that my food wasn’t freshly prepared. However, the servers were very kind and the interior beautifully arranged. Overall I did not like the food though

Absolute recommendation! We had the 41, 42, & 43 and they were all delicious! We had called in advance, but they said you didn't have to make a reservation for 9 p.m. for 4 people. We would definitely come back :) Deduction: the mate iced tea tasted like almost nothing.

We ordered dishes number 43 (above) and 47 (below) and both were very tasty. We tried to make a reservation over the phone, but the employee said it was not possible. We arrived at the restaurant around 7pm, which was very wise as a long line of customers soon formed and waited standing up. Due to high demand, the dishes took a while to be brought to us. The food was tasty and the price was very fair for the amount served. I would definitely go back to the restaurant!

We became aware of the restaurant through an Instagram video and spontaneously made a reservation. The service is very friendly and attentive. Price-performance is also really okay. For 2 people we paid 55 euros with a tip. The food was freshly prepared, beautifully presented and tasted great. You can sit outside and watch the hustle and bustle of the Schanzenviertel.

I didn't eat anything, but I would like to give it five stars because of the friendliness. My wife and I were allowed to simply use the toilet without paying a fee or food. Very friendly and nice!

The Korean Fried Chicken was very good and the portion was large enough for a full lunch. Very good and fresh for €11. Waited almost 10 minutes, even though it was full, so a clear recommendation.

Unfortunately the food was disappointing. I ordered the Bibimbab rice bowl with various vegetable side dishes, shiitake mushrooms and marinated baked tofu balls. The tofu was very tasty. However, half of the various vegetable side dishes were pickled cabbage, which is why the whole bowl unfortunately tasted like rice vinegar or something similar. It was also a pretty dry affair as there was no sauce in the bowl. The service was very friendly and the food came quickly. The ambience is visually appealing, but it creates a cafeteria atmosphere because the many people's voices echo through the large room and the high ceilings. There was also electronic music playing, which created more of a club atmosphere than that of a cozy restaurant.

I was here on a Sunday, the restaurant is very busy, so it's really worth making a reservation in advance. Since I have never eaten Korean food before, the dishes seemed very foreign to me. But the employee here gave me great advice and was really able to help me. The atmosphere itself is also nice, a very large store, super friendly employees. The only drawback is the music, which is cool and everything but doesn't suit the clientele that is offered here. The food is definitely a 10/10. First and foremost, it looks super aesthetic and simply tastes very, very tasty. Super fresh vegetables, the meat was simply well done and simply delicious.

It was very tasty, we ordered dish number 31, the menu they gave us had a price but it was on the “lunch menu” which is not valid on weekends. The waiter said we could order this dish because it was on another menu. We agreed and the waiter didn't say a word about the fact that this dish would be more expensive. And we only found out when we paid. That spoiled our mood.

I can understand that Friday evenings are booked and busy, but when you are rudely asked at 8:04 p.m. where the rest of the 8 p.m. reservation is, you actually don't feel like staying anymore. Unfortunately, the food is absolutely underwhelming and the store is far too loud. So don't be expensive and don't stress your guests. Won't be back 😘

Horrible experience, Would not repeat again! The food was meh for what it is, not to mention that the vegetarian options were lacking. The staff seemed very stressed and overworked, one of the girls there in praticular was pretty rude, she came twice to ask if we are finished yet between 5 minutes! Lady I am trying to enjoy my dessert here! Do you want my money or not? Seriously unbelievable behavior! They don't deserve the money from me! If I was alone I would have just walked out without paying no shame here.

The food is really recommended. We particularly liked the Korean dumplings as an appetizer, whether vegetarian or with meat. The main courses (Dop Bap Variationem) were also great. However, there is potential for optimization when it comes to service. We had to wait for our table and were seated at the bar. Instead of offering us a drink, the employee behind the bar just looked at us with wide eyes. After we were seated at the table it took another 15 minutes for our drinks to be taken.

The food itself was okay, we ordered bibimbap. Plus Bao Buns, where the dough was unfortunately completely hard, as if it had been sitting open for several days or the dough hadn't thawed completely yet... Bao Bun was therefore returned. The service was friendly, but it took a long time before the order was placed. He came across as a little overwhelmed. The meal also took at least half an hour, even though the shop wasn't full.

We spontaneously ate there because it looked very inviting from the outside. The dishes were all very tasty, I was particularly impressed by the cocktail with gin liqueur. We received quick and friendly service and had a lovely time there. The only points of criticism would be the design of the menu, as you often don't know what kind of dishes they are and the cleanliness of the toilets.
