Great ambience, service was fine for full outdoor and half full indoor. The 2-seater seats could be placed a little further apart. The yuzu lemonade was good, the Alster too a lot of sprite. With Dak-Gangjeong, the chicken could have been a little warmer, otherwise it was very good. Unfortunately, with the Bulgogi Bibimbab, both the rice and meat were only slightly warm. But will try it again when the time comes.

The food there is actually great! However, yesterday we were completely forgotten. We were there for a total of 1 1/2 hours and only had our starter and even it wasn't brought completely. Our main course was completely forgotten! The employees seemed very overwhelmed and it was just a disgrace to forget guests like that and not even be asked the entire time that everything was ok! I would have liked to just get up and leave. We were very disappointed with this service...despite the good food, unfortunately not again.

The service was friendly and quick. An intolerance was responded to very professionally. We all enjoyed the food very much, I particularly liked the dumplings as a starter. We all found the noise level in the restaurant very unpleasant and it was difficult to have a conversation at times.

I ate at Yong and overall was very satisfied. The service was friendly and attentive. I ordered bibimbap with tofu - the portion was just right, neither too big nor too small. The tofu could have been a little juicier for my taste, it was a little too dry. However, the taste of the dish was still very good. The price-performance ratio is also good: the price is absolutely reasonable for the quality and quantity. I'd love to come back!

The food is good, the value is very good, the atmosphere is far too loud; you have to speak really loudly to have a conversation. Service has really deteriorated over the last year. No one comes to take our order on their own anymore, and our table neighbors were very annoyed. There are no dedicated servers for any area, which makes it seem disorganized. The food has also taken a very long time to arrive the last few times. It's a shame.

The food and service were great. There is a star deduction for the space in the corridor that leads to the toilet. I had to keep moving up to the table so that the guests behind me could pass. Still a clear recommendation.

Honestly attentive, super friendly and helpful staff. The food was amazing. The level of spiciness was perfect, the taste was great and authentic. Children are looked after and treated very well - they thank you for it. It doesn't actually get any better. It's quite loud. This makes relaxed conversations across the table a little difficult, but is still within reason. If the opportunity arises again, we would be happy to come back.

Fantastic! The food is absolute soul food and tastes mmmmmmmm (almost as delicious as at 엄마!). I was particularly impressed by the attentiveness of the service: We were there with our 3-year-old child and he was treated - without us saying anything! - Made sure that sharper items were stored separately in case the child wanted to take something. I've actually never experienced that before and would like to thank you again. That was a blessing for the parents’ hearts! ❤️

I've eaten Korean Fried Chicken at many different places - from cheap to expensive - but YONG Korean was by far the worst. I don't even know where to start. The Korean Fried Chicken was soggy, there was only one sauce to choose from, and the food was already cold when it came to the table. I've never experienced anything like this in other stores. The portion of rice was twice as big as usual, but unfortunately that didn't save the whole thing. Positive highlights include the cucumber salad, which was really tasty, and the edamame, which was cooked perfectly. The service was also great – friendly and attentive. But all in all, I unfortunately can't recommend the store.

Unfortunately a disappointing experience. We wanted to visit the restaurant as a small group at the weekend and had already asked about a reservation by phone weeks ago. We were told that reservations were not possible on the weekend and to just show up at 7:30 p.m. On site it suddenly said that no table was available without a reservation. Our explanation that we were told otherwise on the phone was ignored by the unfriendly service person. Then it was said that only individual tables for two people were possible. Instead of finding a solution, people just shrugged their shoulders. No accommodation, no effort, just dismissive behavior. It's a shame - that's not how you treat guests. We definitely won't be coming back.

The location is really great and the service is friendly too. Unfortunately I have to say that the food doesn't taste authentic and was very westernized. My sister-in-law had the main course with the tofu... We all tried it and found it dry and not enough sauce. So it's all good, but if you want to eat authentically good Korean food, then I recommend going to Han Mi or Seoul 1988.

The Yong Korean Restaurant in the Shoulder Blade impresses with an all-round successful experience. The dishes are excellently prepared and authentically reflect the diversity of Korean cuisine. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive, making you feel comfortable from the first moment. The harmonious lighting and tasteful decoration make your stay particularly pleasant. A visit to Yong Korean is an absolute must for lovers of excellent cuisine and great hospitality!

Four of us were there on Saturday evening and the place was pretty full. Nevertheless, we got a table quickly, which was positive. The food came super quickly and we all enjoyed it very much. Particularly noteworthy is the good price-performance ratio - absolutely top for the quality of the food! We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Friendly service, even got a table on Saturday evening with 8 people with a waiting time of about 20 minutes, food for meat eaters and vegetarians with special requests equally delicious and large portions ☺️ Espresso Martini in surprisingly large portions and there is even oat milk for coffee ☺️

The food was very tasty. We chose the vegetarian option and were not disappointed. The tofu was very tasty in the bowl dish and my glass noodles with vegetables had a very tasty sauce. The cucumber salad was a bit very very little but I won't deduct that. The service was also great and we didn't have to wait long for our food. I can highly recommend this restaurant!

Hi my name is Daniela. What to say? Well it might the best Corean food in Hamburg but for me it was the first time and I found that too spicy. It was full when I went with my friend so this is a good point for them. People working there are nice and also the restaurant is nice. So up to you now ;-)

Super lovely staff, super delicious food (especially for meat lovers), vegetarian options are also great, vegan is also available. The prices for the food are reasonable and the drinks are at typical restaurant prices. All in all highly recommended!

The food was super tasty and there was a good selection. The only thing that seemed strange to us: my glass and one of my sauce bowls weren't really clean and neither was one of my friends - we got new ones straight away, but that gave me a slightly strange feeling. Then again, maybe this was just a non-recurring thing, so I don't want to give it too much weight. :)

The meal was excellent! We had various starters and 2 main menus. The food was hot and super fresh, very well seasoned and simply delicious. The service was okay. We had a table reservation, so we quickly got two seats. However, it took a really long time before we could order, and they didn't ask for drinks in advance. But when we wanted to pay, it was done within two minutes :D I found the ambience very nice - further back in the store. We had the door right behind us and there were people queuing up waiting for tables, which was a bit uncomfortable. Otherwise very stylish and comfortable.

Highly recommended restaurant. Well-kept and in the evenings it is recommended to book in advance as there is often “queuing”.

Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to our expectations. Unfortunately, the fried chicken and the fried tofu were not crispy, the flour was still half raw. Unfortunately, seafood pancake was sour and the seafood was very fishy. Unfortunately, the Bullgogi was also seasoned too subtly. Otherwise the service is top. But because of the food we wouldn't go there again, it's a real shame.

Had the bibimbap, it was very tasty, but unfortunately there wasn't enough rice and it was a bit too sweet for my taste. The ambience was great and all in all it was a great experience, would definitely come back.

By far my favorite Korean! Super friendly service, great ambience and even better food. If you want to eat at the Schanze, you shouldn't walk past Yong. It's worth making a reservation as the restaurant is busy. As a little tip: sit in the back! It's not as loud there as it is at the front.

The food was very, very tasty. And at a great price (4 drinks and 2 main courses for 50€). The restaurant is very popular, so it's worth making a reservation on normal days. Due to the large room, it is relatively loud and crowded. But you're happy to ignore it. Highly recommended.

The store is always busy, but given the food and service, I'm not surprised. After a year I had dinner there again with a friend and it was incredibly tasty again. No. 43 with the soy garlic sauce is highly recommended and as painful as it is not being able to go there often. It's even better to have the feeling of eating the whole thing for the first time (after a year) 😋 We had to wait for about 5-10 minutes without a reservation, but that's okay - they also offered to sit at the bar to tide us over. After ordering, the food came super quickly and the portions are very filling.

The quality and quantity of the food was poor, but it was pretty expensive. Mild taste that I can also find in the supermarket for microwave dishes. Not a restaurant worth a second visit

The crispy tofu bibimbap 10/10, but once the tofu for the pandas was too crispy and hard. But that's not always the case. Everything went well to take away.

There are differences depending on the menu. The bulgogi was the closest to Korean taste among Korean restaurants in Germany and was very delicious. My foreign friend said that this restaurant's rosé tteokbokki was much more delicious than Frankfurt BBQ's rose tteokbokki. The seasoned chicken was close to chicken gangjeong and had an average taste. The seafood pancake was a bit sour and a bit thick, probably because seafood was added to the kimchi pancake batter. The atmosphere felt more like a hip restaurant popular with young people than a Korean restaurant. Most of the customers were hip German young people. The employees seem friendly and skilled. The kangtail was delicious and not too sweet.

Yong Koreans in the Sternschanze! Very inconspicuous restaurant that I almost overlooked. Had lunch there today, first had a miso soup, the main course was bibimbap with beef bulgogi and various salads, followed by a fried egg. The only criticism is the fried egg, it was so cold as if it came from the fridge, it should have been at least warm, the bibimbap tasted really good. But good Korean cuisine, and the prices are fair with good portions. Nice atmosphere and friendly service. A good tip in the ski jump!

Excellent Korean restaurant in the heart of Schanze. Impossible to access on Saturday evening, however, quiet entry at 4 on Sunday evening. It's neat and good. Key Korean dishes and beautiful flavors. The place is just as nice, high ceilings, airy and nicely decorated for a fairly warm atmosphere. Crispy chicken and Bulgogi beef at the top ;)

Update 10/2024 Prices have been raised again, for example by now offering a basic version of bibimbap (vegetables) and toppings such as tofu cost extra. Not long ago you could get the tofu version for the price of the "vegetable only version". It's now way too expensive for me. Very tasty food and friendly service, sometimes a bit crowded and therefore loud, but speaks for the kitchen

Extremely delicious authentic Korean food. Next time we're going to Hamburg for my birthday- The drinks were good and so was the selection. The lunch specials were great - you can never go wrong with Bibimbap. The tofu was crispy and like I haven't had in a long time. I had the Yuzu Collins and the drink was perfectly refreshing. We shared 3 dishes in addition to our bibimbap: cucumber salad, kimchi and vegan kimbap, everything was perfect to fill us up completely. The food and drinks also came out relatively quickly - which was very surprising :D The atmosphere in the restaurant was over the top beautiful with the interior design. Food was very tasty, service was ok but somehow annoying. The location is unusual. Lots of concrete.

We both had tofu dishes with rice and edamame and dumplings as starters. Starter was great. Unfortunately, the main course wasn't fresh enough, you could taste the tofu that it was over-fried. They were very hard. They probably sat unsold for a while and were fried again shortly before service. The rest was fine. Unfortunately, home-made drinks weren't our taste either, unfortunately they were far too tasteless.
