Delicious food, good service, the music does not match the name of the restaurant

Not the prettiest L'Osteria. Pretty run-down. The tables were dirty, the upholstery was cracked, and the (not wheelchair-accessible) restrooms were in dire need of renovation. The food was delicious as always, but the service was unfortunately poor. In our three hours, we were only asked once, at the beginning, if we wanted a drink. After the meal, we sat there for a long time with empty glasses, but unfortunately, no one paid any attention. It's a real shame.

Our visit to Essen at Kennedyplatz. We received a friendly welcome and were shown to a table. After a break of about 20 minutes, a young waitress came and took our drinks. These took another 20 minutes. My Bitburger Pils was already stale and served without foam. It was undrinkable, so I skipped it. I then ordered a Coke so the same thing wouldn't happen again. At this point, our food was served, which also arrived after about half an hour. My pizza was a wagon wheel, soggy and lukewarm. My wife had a pasta dish, also lukewarm. We ate it out of necessity because, firstly, we were hungry, and secondly, we didn't want to wait another hour. Our conclusion about this visit: we won't go back. The food and drinks were not good, the waiting times were not good at all. The service staff were very nice, but that's not enough. A waste of time and money. Never again.

The pizzas were very tasty and the service was great. Overall it's a little loud but still very nice.
