If you like to wait two hours for your food and like it to be almost cold and not really tasty, then I can recommend it...

The whole evening was excellent. The main course, dessert, drinks and coffee couldn't have been better.

We were there at the beginning of March. Overall it was quite loud. The starter consisted of a quark cream and pizza rolls. The quark cream didn't give the impression that it had been prepared in-house. My side dishes were almost cold. My wife's tortellini also didn't seem to have been made in-house. They were quite dry. The sauce with it tasted as if a powder sauce had been mixed. The prices are quite cheap. Warming up and refining already prepared dishes does not meet our expectations.

A few weeks ago the pizzas were highly recommended, but the restaurant has recently changed the recipe so that I would no longer order pizza from them. The pasta dishes are still top notch 👍 On our last visit they forgot to greet us from the kitchen, even though there was hardly anything going on at that time. And at home I looked at the receipt and noticed that the pizza was €1.50 more expensive than what was offered on the menu. In summary, I have to say that things were better there. It's a shame, it was my favorite Italian.

We celebrated my birthday here yesterday. The service was top. The food came quickly, very tasty and very fresh. And for all the great food, the great service and the beautiful ambience we paid comparatively little. We would always come back and would love to come back. A visit here is absolutely worth it

We've eaten at Il Viale nuovo twice now. Even when making a reservation by phone you felt warmly welcome. The atmosphere is extremely pleasant, starched tablecloths, fine napkins, candles on the table. The service was very attentive. The map and additional map read extremely well. i.e. There's not too much on offer, but there's still a good selection of seasonal dishes. Drinks and food came promptly. The food is extremely tasty. The pizza is not too big, Vitello Tonata as a topping is very delicious. Today I had a mixed starter that we ate for two. Olives, peppers, eggplant, melon with ham and and and tasted very delicious. The saltimbocca as the main course melted in the mouth. My husband had calamari with spinach, which was also delicious. Everything was right here. Even though it was very busy, service was quick. The price-performance ratio is balanced. We really enjoyed the evening and are looking forward to the next time. A clear recommendation with 5 stars each.

Wir sind seit Jahren Stammgäste im Il Viale! Essen, Service, Ambiente und Peis-/ Leistung sind seit Jahren ausgezeichnet. Seit das Restaurant unter neuer Leitung ist brummt der Laden und das völlig zu Recht. Sämtliche Freunde und Familienmitglieder sind begeistert und kommen gerne immer wieder.

I ate there for the first time with my wife. I chose the restaurant based on the reviews and I'm glad I read them. You hadn't yet set foot in the restaurant and you were already given a very warm welcome. On the way to our table we noticed the great atmosphere. When we arrived at the table, a waiter lit the candle for us and placed a fresh rose on the table for us. We really liked that. The service itself was simply great. Started at the front door and continued until we left the restaurant. To eat. It was just delicious. I had three types of meat (chicken, pork steak, beef fillet) and everything was fried excellently. Not too dry and just good taste. We paid 45 euros for the evening and that included two great meals and two drinks. I think it's a great price/performance ratio and we will definitely come back and certainly with several people.

Seit gefühlten 10 Jahren gehen wir zum IL Viale aber unter der Leitung des ehemaligen Chef "Adriano" dieser arbeitete meist mit einem italienischen Küchenchef. Alles war dort top, sonst wären wir dort nicht regelmäßig zum Essen hin gegangen. Vor einiger Zeit wechselte jedoch der Besitzer aus "Adriano" wurde "Jacky" ein ehemaliger Kellner des IL Viale. Nach aussen hin wurde das IL Viale auch neu designt um besser aufzufallen und neue Gäste zu akquirieren. Leider gab es seit letzterer Zeit einige male Beschwerden über das Essen. Wenn teure Gerichte wie Filetspitzen z.B. nach Gummi sehr zäh schmecken das geht leider garnicht. Das Personal war sehr nett und hat versucht immer Abhilfe zu schaffen. Trotzdem erwägten wir dort unsere Weihnachtsfeier 2023 mit allen Mitarbeiter dort abzuhalten. Gerne nahm das Personal unseren Wunsch entgegen und trug diesen ins Dispositionbuch ein. Irgenwie hatte "Jacky" der neue Besitzer davon Kenntnis erlagt und kam direkt an unserem Tisch und erklärte uns ob wir eigentlich Wissen, wie teuer Filetspitzen seien ? Wir bejahten das und erklärten nochmals, dass die Filetspitzen leider doch sehr zäh waren und wir deshalb diese Portion komplett wieder zurück gegeben haben. "Jacky" gab und dann freundlich zu verstehen, das wir doch unsere Weihnachtsfeier anderweitig abhalten mögen. Ein unfassbares Verhalten gegenüber uralten Stammgästen gegenüber und somit hat er wieder einen Stammgast Paar vergrault. Wie wir im Nachhinein erfahren haben ist der Koch nicht italienischer Herkunft gewesen. Wir haben daher unsere Weihnachtsfeier im Restaurant "Stöckmanns" 45359 Essen abgehalten. PS: Die haben auch einen sehr schönen Biergarten!!

The team is super friendly and internally it seems as if everyone gets along well (which we think makes a positive impression)! The food is really delicious and, above all, fresh! We were guests spontaneously. It was very crowded, but the young man was still able to give us a seat. We had expected a little longer waiting time, but the food arrived quickly and very hot :-) We went home very happy and positively surprised. We had to wait half an hour for someone to take our order and then had to wait almost 2 hours for our food. We ordered a starter that unfortunately didn't meet our expectations (but the waiter took it off the bill) The food itself was okay, I ordered Cabonara (the egg was set but otherwise quite good). We felt like we were forgotten.

A couple we were friends with had eaten there several times. Both have given well-intentioned tips on how to improve things. For example, the herb butter tasted like nothing, it was missing garlic and salt. was changed between. There was rosemary in it and you bit the needles. Unpleasant. The waitress also confirmed this. My friend had gnocchi that was dry and half raw inside. She pointed that out, but ate it anyway. (They would have even tasted better if they had been made at home. Therefore completely unacceptable for a restaurant.) Yesterday they were there again. The beef fillet strips were tough even though they were pink inside and had to be spit out and the pasta filling was supposed to be with figs, it didn't taste like it. But you could look past it. The waitress was informed. She said: No problem, I'll take it back and asked her if she wanted something else. My friend asked if it really wasn't a problem if she took something else. No no, that's not a problem. So she took something else. When we paid, the owner Jacky said that it had a special taste and that the meat was too expensive to throw away. The toughness was simply ignored. She didn't like the food several times and so it would be better if the reservation (the two had reserved for 5 people for the next week) was canceled. Why do people always ask if everything is okay when an honest answer is not desired? They only ever want yes-sayers. Most people do it that way because they don't dare say anything. Absolutely NOT criticizable for really BAD quality. He should be ashamed of such behavior. That's not something an innkeeper should do. Especially since the complaint about the unfinished gnocchi and the tough meat was completely justified. She should have let the gnocchi go back instead of eating them out of kindness. Not recommended.

Durch reinen Zufall sind wir auf diese erstklassigen Italiener aufmerksam geworden. Und was sollen wir sagen: es war ganz hervorragend und wir werden bestimmt wieder kommen!

Sehr unscheinbares Restaurant an einer Ecke, wo man nicht unbedingt eine gute Gastro erwartet. Tolles essen, wirklich freundliches Personal und unschlagbare Preise. Vorspeise, Hauptgang, vier Getränke und Absacker für 60€. War ganz bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal :)

Nettes Lokal, gutes Essen zu angemessenen Preisen. Das Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend, Hunde sind gestattet und werden mit frischem Wasser versorgt.

Ein ganz tolles Restaurant mit sehr leckerem Essen, guten Service und angenehmen Ambiente.

Leider ist der Besuch nicht das was ich mir vorgestellt habe. Wir sind zwar im Ruhrpott aber die Kellnerin war mir für unseren ersten Besuch zu kumpelig. Ein bisschen mehr Professionalität würde ihr gut tun. Das Essen war OK aber noch verbesserungswürdig. Hier sehe ich noch Luft nach oben. Bein einem Gericht mit Cashewnüssen in der Soße erwarte ich ein paar Nüsse, bei mir war es eher eine Handvoll Nüsse mit etwas Soße. Überall fehlt noch der letzte Schliff. Leider wurden wir auch an einem sehr engen Tisch platziert mit der Garderobe im Nacken. Das Ambiente entspricht leider nicht meiner Vorstellung von einem guten Italiener. Hier ist leider das alte Steakhaus noch zu sehr erkennbar. Preis/Leistung passt noch.

Im ganzen war es ein schöner Abend mit leckerem Essen. Der Service war am Anfang gut nur nach dem Essen kam leider niemand mehr.

Leider hat es sehr lange gedauert, bis auch nur die Vorspeisen kamen - diese allerdings nicht wie in der Karte beschrieben. Auch bis zu den Hauptspeisen hat es deutlich gedauert. Auch hier wurde nicht gebracht, was bestellt wurde. Die freundliche Kritik wurde mit "Sie können ja gehen" kommentiert. Geht GAR NICHT.

Vom Essen bis zum Ambiente stimmt einfach alles. Der Service ist sehr sehr gut, die Kellnerinnen sehr freundlich. Tolles und leckeres Essen. Kann das Restaurant nur empfehlen.

Das Essen hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt! Eine sehr leckere und aromatische "Fischsuppe", warum da Krabben drin sind, verstehe ich bei dem Namen nicht so ganz, aber wirklich gut. Die Bedienung freundlich und zugewandt, aber etwas unorganisiert. Ich werde es wohl nie verstehen, warum man, wenn man schon mit Getränken zum Tisch kommt, nicht auch sofort leere Gläser und Teller mitnimmt. 🙄🤷🏻‍♂️ Insgesamt hat es uns gefallen und wir würden wiederkommen.

Das Nuovo hat ein tolles Ambiente und einen Chef, der das Vertraute des alten Restaurants repräsentiert. Wir haben lecker in angenehmer Atmosphäre gegessen. Auch bei unserem letzten Besuch (Ende Juni 2023) war das Essen lecker und das Personal freundlich.

Das Ambiente ist sehr nett und der Service ganz gut. Allerdings bleibt das Restaurant für mich insgesamt deutlich hinter dem, auf der Website formulierten Selbstverständnis zurück.

Sehr enttäuscht, leider mussten wir 6 Personen 2 1/2 Stunden auf unser Essen warten, dazu kam das Tagesgemüse war kalt der Brokkoli steinhart, das Fleisch allein aber gut. Das Radler war eine fast Fanta, das Essen meiner Bekannten war gemischt entweder zu heiß oder fast kalt,da ich eine weitere Anfahrt hatte war ich sehr enttäuscht und würde dort auch nicht wieder einkehren wollen .Natürlich ist es möglich das ich dort nur einen " schlechten " Tag erwischt habe. Das Personal aber sehr freundlich ,leider ändert das nichts an Wartezeit und Essen.

Bei meinen zahlreichen Besuchen in diesem Restaurant, war ich von Anfang an begeistert. Die Auswahl ist riesig – ob Pasta, Pizza, Fisch oder Fleisch, alles ist frisch und von höchster Qualität. Die Portionen sind perfekt bemessen und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist hervorragend. Ein großes Lob an die Köche, die ihr Handwerk meisterhaft beherrschen. Die Weinauswahl ist ebenso exzellent, für jeden Geschmack ist etwas dabei. Das Personal und der Chef selbst, verdienen besondere Anerkennung, alle sind lieb und überaus höflich, was das Ambiente noch angenehmer macht. Die Sauberkeit, auch auf den Toiletten, ist vorbildlich. Der Außenbereich mag klein sein, aber er ist unglaublich gemütlich und einladend. Dank der hervorragenden Anbindung an öffentliche Verkehrsmittel ist das Restaurant zudem leicht zu erreichen. Ein rundum exzellentes Erlebnis!

Wir waren spontan zu zweit essen. Es gibt einen eigenen kostenlosen Parkplatz, direkt am Restaurant. Der Service war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auch die Getränke und Speisen wurden sehr schnell gebracht. Die Portionen waren so groß, dass wir uns die Reste einpacken ließen. Die Preise waren erschwinglich. Sehr empfehlenswert!
