Wir waren mit der Bedienung unserer Kellnerin Chantal sehr sehr zufrieden. Zudem hat uns das Essen überzeugt. Wir konnten die Pizza super dreiteilen obwohl wir Schneidwerkzeug zur Verfügung hatten

Hello everyone, we were traveling as a family with 14 people (10-92 years old). The service was attentive and friendly, there was still room for improvement, but at the moment you have to be grateful if you are served at all. In this respect, 5 stars. What we found really negative was the loud music. Once upon a time, only a few people like it - you can still live with that, but then it's so loud that you could barely have a conversation with your immediate neighbor. How terrible that you think you have to do that to your customers while eating. It was then turned down, but it was still not pleasant for us at our age. The food was plentiful and tasty, but if you prefer a lot of toppings, this is the wrong place for you. This is simply due to the size of the pizza; it has to be sparsely topped, otherwise it would be unaffordable. The optics are awesome.

The pizza here is unique, but the pasta dishes are also delicious, especially on the seasonal menu. The service is top!! We always enjoy coming back!

Best pizza and pasta we have ever eaten in a restaurant. Great quality. Drinks and food arrived very quickly. Everything was perfectly seasoned, hot and the portions were more than sufficient. You can order a pizza with 2 different halves. Absolutely recommended

The service was super nice and respectful. I didn't notice any negative things that I could complain about in terms of service. The food, however, wasn't that good. The portion was very small and quite bland. Little taste and hardly any shrimp (I had the gnocchi with shrimp). All I can say about the ambience is that I sat outside and relaxed. It was a bit stupid that everyone could basically see into the seating area, but it didn't bother me that much.

Susi, kitchen and everyone else shot all the birds and rarely ate anything so great. All you can say about the service is THANK YOU! PERFECT 😃👍🏻 AGAIN AND AGAIN

Very very friendly service! I really felt very comfortable with the young lady's service! The pizzas are amazing says my son! The carbonara was interesting, but pecorino and parmesan taste better in this dish than mountain cheese. I have one comment on the menu: the risotto is incorrectly titled. It's called risoni because it's made from Italian rice noodles rather than traditional rice, which is more commonly what risotto is made of. Otherwise nice restaurant!

The service was nice. Food came relatively quickly considering how busy it was. Food was very tasty. Unfortunately, sometimes the toppings on the pizza are a bit thin. Half a pizza with tomatoes, two slices of tomato is very little considering the huge pizza. Paying was quick and easy. Spacious restaurant with lots of seats, which of course makes it quite loud.

L’Osteria in Essen offers fantastic Italian cuisine! The huge pizzas are crispy and delicious, and the pasta is fresh and flavorful. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff is friendly and attentive. A great place for a relaxing evening with authentic Italian food!

Service okay, could be a little quicker and more attentive. The price for the pizza is now quite outrageously high. Hawaii costs €4 more than Margarita. In return you get a few pieces of ham and pineapple. Very weakly documented. Too expensive for that. Otherwise large pizzas and also taste good.

The food is top quality and delicious, the staff are friendly, but as a delivery courier I'm very disappointed as they always neglect orders and waste our time. They are not rude, but delaying our orders is a great deal of disrespect. I recommend all Uber couriers not to accept orders from this restaurant.

The food (pizza and pasta) was delicious and the portions were large as usual. The service was very friendly and good, although it wasn't full. The location is nice and you can sit outside, but there are also plenty of seats inside.

If you only know pizza in Germany, I would admit that compared to Germany, it is very good, even excellent. If you had the opportunity to explore the pizzas in Italy, you would find points deducted at Losteria, so you would avoid pizzas in Losteria at all. And it's expensive for pizza too. But even the restaurant and its location in Essen are great, so if you want to go out somewhere spontaneously, Losteria is almost the best choice. You have a good view of Kennedyplatz, you can sit outside and there are relatively comfortable seats, not like Extrablatt or Finca Celona nearby.

The food is really tasty and the staff is on point, friendly and numerous! I only deduct points because a lasagne was only slightly warm and my pizza was forgotten. - Pizza war gut. - Kellner war freundlich. - Ein Pizza je zur Hälfte mit einem anderen Belag und einem 0,5 L Radler: 21,80 € (Es ist alles noch im Rahmen). - Klar handelt es sich hier um eine Kette, aber die Qualitäten können sehr unterschiedlich sein, je nach dem wer der Betreiber ist. - Leider waren rund um den Kennedy Platz sehr viel Bettler und Obdachlose unterwegs. Das ist ein gesellschaftliches Problem und dafür kann das Restaurant nichts.

- Pizza was good. - Waiter was friendly. - Half of a pizza with a different topping and a 0.5 liter shandy: €21.80 (everything is still within limits). - Of course this is a chain, but the qualities can be very different depending on who the operator is. - Unfortunately there were a lot of beggars and homeless people around Kennedy Platz. This is a social problem and the restaurant can't do anything about it.

A chain? I was skeptical, but the food is really delicious. Example tagliatelle with tomato sauce and chanterelles: Large portion, plenty of mushrooms that were well fried and fresh, pasta perfectly cooked and very tasty tomatoes. The pizzas are huge (which is the chain's signature move), very thin and, in my opinion, rightly not as overly topped as in the kebab restaurant. The service here in Essen, as well as in the stores in other cities, was excellent - attentive, not intrusive and very friendly without being fake. Thanks for that! I find the prices to be very good. My skepticism is gone, I'm now a fan.

It’s a pity to have relatively good food and so unpleasant service. When a customer has already paid and just want to finish, his drink is pushed out on the pretext debt. They are already closed. While a lot of other tables are still in. It is extremely unpleasant and for me it’s a no.

Better than expected! The pizza was so big that it stuck out of the plate, I had never seen anything like it. When my son sorted out the parsley, they offered to make it again! Completely unusual. I found the seafood pizza a bit lame, watery, I would have preferred a little more spiciness. But everyone has slightly different tastes. The service was perfect and ambience was good.

Unfortunately, pizza wasn't as tasty as I know it from other restaurants in the chain.

The pizzas actually taste good, but I think they skimp too much on the toppings. This is a big negative point, especially considering the price. However, the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is harmonious. Overall, you can definitely eat here. However, I would strongly advise against eating outside, as it often happens that you are disturbed by beggars while eating there. But the restaurant can't do anything about it, that's something that definitely needs to be emphasized at this point.

The pizzas are huge and really tasty - I can especially recommend the Margherita and the Quattro Formaggi. The pasta dishes were also excellent and authentically Italian. The ingredients taste fresh and are of high quality. I particularly liked the selection of wines and desserts. The tiramisu was to die for! All in all a wonderful experience. A great spot to eat, very central and pleasant. The location is well maintained and furnished with great attention to detail. You feel like you are in an Italian piazza. Our waitress Kassandra was very friendly, always had a smile on her face, was quick and still took a lot of time for you. The price is appropriate for the food. We would love to come back and hope that Kassandra will be there for us again.
