Design of the restaurant is abysmally bad. Way too overpriced Service was okay

We were there for the fondue evening, with a friend joining us a little later. We had already ordered drinks. The first waitress was nice and attentive. However, the lemonade I ordered was out because the colleague who always mixes it wasn't there and so no one knew how to do it...that was a bit strange but ok. After we were full, our drinks were brought by a second waitress; it was obvious that the latecomer hadn't ordered yet. The waitress at least asked if she didn't want anything, but she didn't wait for her answer, she just left. Regarding the food: The selection didn't blow us away, there was cheese for dipping and only bread, onions, potatoes, mushrooms and pickles. The taste and presentation was good, but we expected more for the money. Overall it was good to have been there once, but you don't need it again now. Apparently we were lucky if you read all the other reviews.

We had a great tour with tasting, super tasty! Perfect for small groups. The cheese was also available to buy on site.

I ordered through Kreutzers. I can't say anything about the taste. It's over 30 degrees outside. The cheese arrived here completely mushy and soft and at almost the same temperature. I measured extra. The water was almost boiling in the only tiny ice pack that was in the box. I had to wait 2.5 weeks for the goods. I'm totally disappointed and hope I don't have to throw away the beautiful cheese.... :-(

An interesting location. We were there for a wedding, the location right on the canal was great. Food good and staff attentive and friendly. The integration of a glass cheese factory with a modern restaurant was very successful. If you want to visit something special in Münster instead of the city center, this location is highly recommended

The food was delicious, but there was relatively little choice for the price of the grill buffet. Some of the dishes were cold. It would have been great to be able to try the company's different types of cheese. Then we would definitely have bought another loaf afterwards.

I had the pleasure of accompanying a wedding at the Hafenkäserei Münster as a photographer and it was simply great! The location by the water gives the celebration a very special atmosphere. The rustic furnishings and cozy ambience create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The team was extremely friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. There were two of us out and about today and we were able to leave the children at home. Nothing works here without a reservation. The buffet was very tasty and the service left nothing to be desired. From the grill: marinated chicken fillet, roast beef, grilled cheese sausages, vegetarian bratwurst Buffet: Baked sheep's cheese, harbor cheese spaetzle, baked potatoes, roasted cauliflower, seasonal braised vegetables, salad with dressing, cheese salad, cole slaw, sour cream, herb butter, cheese sauce, dips + Cheese raclette directly from the cheese wheel The ambience is very nicely designed. The only thing that would have bothered me would be a table near the buffet, because the line can be longer here and people stand next to their own table and wait. Recommend a table by the window or in the upper area.

We wanted to have lunch at the restaurant. Unfortunately, only small things were offered, such as cheese slices and juices.

Winter grilling without grilling! Buffet would be good (if warm/hot), the placement of the buffet should be reconsidered. The buffet opening at 6:30 p.m. instead of 6 p.m. should also be communicated accordingly. Dishes were constantly being refilled, unfortunately everything was cold. We took part in the "winter barbecue" with 4 people and can't recommend it. If you expect a selection of cheese at the winter barbecue in the harbor cheese dairy... No, not available

It's a shame that you can't find anything about opening times here on Google. We came from Bochum and thought we would get an overview for ourselves. At the entrance there was something about "lunch buffet from 12 p.m." But we were standing in front of the closed door at 12 p.m. and couldn't find any other information about the opening times.

Food and service very good. Unfortunately, one star deducted in the ambience, as some of the seating was not comfortable and the room climate was too cold. You have to dress a little warmer there if you don't want to freeze...

We celebrated my JGA in the harbor cheese dairy in the form of a cheese/beer pairing. Many thanks to Martin who did the tasting with us. We had a lot of fun and depending on our taste (almost) everything tasted great. Thank you also for the beautiful ambience and the beautifully set table. I will definitely come back again when I am in Münster.

Wir hatten die Genießertour. Sehr nette Frau! Es wurde alles toll erklärt und der Käse (und natürlich auch das Bier) ist suuuper lecker! Zum Schluss gab es noch ein Gastgeschenk (1 Stück Käse und 1 Bio Bier von Finne)! Danke für diese 2 Std. in einer gemütlichen Atmosphäre.

Das Mittagsbuffet ist zwar preiswert , aber um 13.15 Uhr kalt. Der Service war nett, aber unsicher: ' ich glaube, es gibt keinen Kaffee mehr'. Das Ambiente ist ausgefallen und sehr geschmackvoll, der Raum war aber kalt. Die Online Reservierung sagte uns, wenn wir länger als 2 Std. bleiben möchten , Nachricht geben, wir wurden schon nach einer Std. rausgeschmissen. Ihr H. Böckeler 02501 8628

Wir haben die Genießertour gebucht, welche ein tolles Käsetasting und sogar -pairing mit zusätzlicher Info über die Käserei und einem kleinen Einblick in die Produktionsstätte beinhaltet. Unsere Gastgeberin an diesem Tag war super sympathisch, locker und konnte jede Frage beantworten. Wir hatten einen wundervollen und witzigen Nachmittag und empfehlen die Tour sehr!

Ob in Sommer oder in der dunklen Jahreszeit, die Ambiente ist super. Modern trifft auf Hafenindustrie,es passt. Das Essen ist lecker und die Servicekräfte ob an der Theke oder am Tisch sind durch die Reihe gut drauf. Bis zum nächsten Mal

Wir hatten am Sonntag eine Exclusiv Führung inkl Tasting . Es war absolut perfekt . Informativ - Lecker - und kurzweilig . Tolle 2 Stunden in einer Top Location. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team und vor allem an unsere Rednerin ( der Name ist mir leider entfallen , sorry )

Ich war zum Abendessen und zum Mittagsbuffet in der Hafenkäserei und kann beides empfehlen, das Essen ist sehr lecker (es gibt auch Gerichte für Veganer) und das Personal freundlich und aufmerksam 👍🏻

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit allem. Besonders die Flexibilität ist erwähnenswert: 15 Personen waren bestellt, am Ende sind 35 da gewesen. Das Essen war gut, der Blick auf den abendlichen Kanal hat, so die Rückmeldungen, Urlaubsfeeling aufkommen lassen. Vielleicht eine Anmerkung zur Akkustik: es waren zwar viele Leute dort, also kann es sicher nicht ganz ruhig sein, aber man musste schon lauter sprechen, um sich zu unterhalten. Wenn es also möglich ist mit einfachen Mitteln etwas an der Akkustik zu tun, dann wäre das vielleicht gut.

In Sachen Käse macht man denen hier nichts vor Auch das Ambiente ist wirklich sehr schön im Vergleich zu vielen anderen Gastronomie am Hafen. Wir hatten Tagliatelle mit Lachs und einen Burger. Plus das Käse allerlei. Leider kamen weder bei der Tagliatelle noch beim Burger, der so tolle Käse für den dieser Ort bekannt ist, richtig zu Geltung. Bei der Käse Vorspeise, dem Käse. Allerlei war das beste das Käse Tarta schwächste die Käse Praline weil auch dort der Käse null zu Geltung kam. Getrunken haben wir eine Luguna als Flasche. Wobei diese 30 € mehr als zu hoch angesetzt ist, wenn man sich die Preise des selben Weins vom selben Hof aufruft. Für Vorspeisen ein Tipp, für Hauptspeisen würde ich auf die andere Seite des Kanals einkehren.

Schönes Ambiente mit Blick auf den Hafen. Das Essen war lecker. Service zu Beginn sehr aufmerksam, aber wir mussten lange warten und mehrfach fragen bis wir endlich die Rechnung bekommen haben.

Ich war als DJ für eine Hochzeit dort und habe die Vorhandene hochwertige PA genutzt. Das Personal war sehr aufgeschlossen und auch ein meinem Wohl sehr interessiert. Vom Buffet durfte ich naschen und kann das Grillbuffet sehr empfehlen. Auch als Gast werde ich gerne wiederkommen.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend in der Hafenkäserei und waren sehr zufrieden. Die Bedienung war ausgesprochen freundlich! Die Getränke und das Essen kamen super schnell und waren wirklich lecker. Das Ambiente in der Hafenkäserei wirkt hochwertig und wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt, wir kommen gerne ganz bald wieder ;-)

Wir konnten noch draussen einen Platz bekommen. Schön mal von der anderen Seite den Hafen zu sehen😉

Sehr schönes und gemütliches Lokal. Sehr freundliches Personal und es ist für jeden was dabei. Die Vorspeisen haben mir am besten gefallen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Eine tolle Lokation mit leckerem Essen und fähigem Personal. Das Finne Bier alkoholfrei ist weiterzuempfehlen ;)

Wir waren Mittags zum Buffet in der Hafenkäserei. Das Essen war relativ basic, Gemüse zerkocht und sehr salzig. Das Curry für manche Geschmäcker zu scharf. Falls das Essen in Bio-Qualität war, war es nicht so ausgezeichnet.

Tolles Lokal mit sehr gutem und freundlichem Service. Speisen und Getränke sehr lecker. Den einen Stern Abzug gibt es wegen des Zustands der Toiletten. Die hätten sauberer sein können und es fehlte an Seife.

Leider wurde die Vorspeise zusammen mit dem Hauptgericht serviert, das ergibt leider nicht viel Sinn und war schade, da wir natürlich das warme Essen erst essen mussten. Sonst war alles toll.

Die Bedienung war sehr nett und gut drauf. Das Essen war sehr gut. Eigentlich müsste es 4.5 Sterne geben. Halben Punktabzug für die Wartezeit aufs Essen. Die Lokation am Hafen ist Top, mit Sicht aufs Wasser. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen!

Es war ein wunderschöner Abend! Essen und Getränke waren Top. Der Service war super Nett und zuvorkommend. Wir sind immer wieder gerne Gast.

Wir haben das Probierpaket von der Hafenkäserei bestellt. Heute haben wir mit 5 Leuten die verschiedenen Käsesorten probiert. Alle waren total begeistert. Super lecker alles. Bei unserem nächsten Urlaub im Münsterland kommen wir unbedingt persönlich vorbei. Da freuen wir uns jetzt schon drauf.

With a canal view and excellent food, you just can’t go wrong. We ordered the variety cheese platter and I was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed EVERY single type of cheese!
