Today at 2 p.m. we as a company (5 people) wanted something to eat, we left because of the unfriendly staff and won't be coming back.

Typical atmosphere and friendly service, but it's the burger with rosti that steals the show, really. Served with a generous portion of fries, this burger is a feast for the senses. If you're in Munich, this is a must-try for any burger lover.

Service doesn’t exist, we have waited 20 minutes without getting any attention and it wasn’t very busy. A foreign couple next to us asked for service and the server disrespected them saying “Calm down it’s very busy. This is Germany, we don’t signal for service”. Then the server sat down a local group and served them immediately. We stood up and left!

Hello...eaten outside on August 31, 2024 around 7:00 p.m. I would be approached by an employee and seated at a table for 4 with 2 other guests. The service was attentive and quick. I then ordered half a beer and half a pork knuckle with dumpling and coleslaw. The beer came very quickly, at a great temperature. After about 10 minutes my food came. The knuckle was quite dry and the crust was probably formed by a quick dip in the deep fryer. The dumpling was more of a dumpling, the coleslaw was tasty. Conclusion.,...food and beer price clearly too high. Quality of the food was lower middle class. The quality of the food is much better in the Hacker Pschorr tent on the meadows!

The food and service are very correct, the big problem of the place is the owner or person in charge of it, he takes advantage of the tourists to get money in black, and when it is time to pay apart from the fact that the bill is an account made with paper and pen, they come with the excuse that the dataphones are not available and they have to charge in cash, after several attempts we paid in cash and when we left we verified that the locals do have the option of paying by card. This helps him clearly defraud the German treasury. Also be careful with the cockiness of the "sir" when you go to complain to him about the situation.

By far the worst experience we had so far in germany.. so we arrived 4 persons three adults and a small kid. They brought us only one plate after 30mins and when we asked for the other two 30 min later the waiter just turned his head the other way and walked away.. ofc we had to cancel and look for another restaurant which due to the fact that it was late we couldn't find anything open so we had the kid without any proper food.. I wouldn't recommend it of course.. staff inpolite (not all of them but...)

Like a slight feeling of pissing off the waiters (not a hello, limited beer thrown on the table) and to top it off, a person begging in front of the toilets seriously?! We ask for 2x the bill, the waitress makes it clear that she understands but does not bring it in 15 minutes....

We enter and ask for a table for two, they tell us to go where we find a seat, ok we can fit. We sit down, no menu for 10 minutes, I take one from a nearby table, another 30 minutes pass and despite several requests to order we are always bounced and put on hold by different waiters. We notice that even the tables near us are quite annoyed by the long waits, those who have only had a drink for a long time, those who ordered when we arrived and didn't even have a drink after more than half an hour... We visited this restaurant on August 12th as part of a beer and food tour. Even though there was enough space outside, we were seated in the restaurant at 36 degrees. Right from the start we had the feeling that we were being a nuisance; we didn't earn much because it was all done by the organizer. Quite quickly, 4 small snack plates were placed on the table for those present, plus 2cm. thick, carelessly cut slices of bread. Drinks could only be taken later as there would be a lot going on outside. The price included 1 beer per person. Two guests dared to ask for drinks at the counter, and there was a moderate uproar from the waitress; we had to wait. After 20 minutes in the completely overheated room, either Radler or a Helles was served, 2 of the guests were underage, they were refused water instead of beer, this would only be served for an additional charge, the beer that would have been allowed was not served. Afterwards there were roasts and sausages on platters, with dumplings the size of table tennis balls. I wouldn't have served the roast to my guests like that, it was far too fatty, carelessly prepared and lots of cuts. Never experienced such unfriendly service, insulting the guests because they dared to sit outside after eating because it was very warm inside. It wasn't necessary, we were turned away the day before because we just wanted something to drink, but seats are only allocated if we order food, like in many other restaurants in the pedestrian zone. If you are in Munich you are better off going somewhere else.

Far too long of a wait and poor communication. We sat near the counter and constantly noticed the unfriendly behavior of the employees/foremen. Additional sad thing restrooms had a person sitting with a coin platter. And didn’t get the reason and context of it. Maybe to grab a beer is a good place and sit with friends. Yet I would try something else for that occasion.

We had reserved online and were supposed to arrive at 8:45 PM, but got there at 9 PM. Despite the online confirmation that the table would be held for another 5 minutes, we were confronted with two terribly unfriendly waiters who barked at us to leave. Terrible, we will never come here again!

When you go in you are ignored, the drink came quickly, then no one left for ages, okay that can happen. The starter took a long time, then it took forever. At some point it was said that roast was coming (the accompanying coleslaw was already there), we then pointed out that knuckle had been ordered. Strange in a restaurant where I already pay for service and food. Waiters also don't make room for guests. Conclusion: something isn't going well in the team, it's a shame

The service was slow and incredibly unfriendly: no "hello", no "thank you"; you had the feeling that you were a nuisance as a guest. The meat patties were unseasoned and the potato salad was bland. The Spezi tasted as if it had been diluted with water and the glass was poured well below the 0.4l mark. In contrast to the food, the prices were high. We're definitely not coming back.

My group and I did not enjoy our experience. Getting seated took time as the servers ignored us when trying to ask. Eventually, we were told we could have seated ourselves. We did not get a speizekärte (menu). We had to go to the hostess stand and get our own. While doing so we were told about the QR Code on it. The waiter we had was not patient. Member of our party wanted to just point at the item they wanted and he refused to wait moment stating we needed more time and trying to leave. They included their own tip so know that when they charge you they will add their own tip amount. Food was bland. I had the KäzeSpaëtzle and it needed salt and pepper. The beer was good. Wouldn't recommend it if you want an good authentic or quick meal

Very friendly staff, Kaiserschmarrn was amazing, one of the best that I have ever had, and definitely recommended. Apfelschtrudel was also super tasty. The staff was very attentive and very nice. Definitely recommended!

Very friendly service, unfortunately the red currywurst was not properly fried and was lukewarm with a sauce that only has a marginal connection to curry. Curry powder on the sausage was sparse. For the money you can get something better at any snack shop. I can't recommend it.

When we got to the hacker house, everything outside was full and inside it was empty. No matter, go in and order. Ambience and flair are limited, only the waiter exudes Bavarian charm. The beer was stale. But the food was really good, and the roast pork saved the visit.

The food was not up to the normally high standard of a good Bavarian restaurant the meat was very tough and the waiter intrusive to point of awarding himself a $6.30 tip and when questioned he said “it was included “ I explained its the customer choice to provide a tip overall an underwhelming experience there are far better restaurants in Munich avoid this one like the plague !!

Incredible! A waiter named Ben serves all guests and is friendly and courteous and at the same time tidies up everything because of closing time, including the heavy parasols. The other waiter, on the other hand (Murat?), stands in front of the screen with his arms crossed over his chest and watches the Netherlands vs. England soccer game. The highlight is that at some point at the end of the evening he sits in the entrance area of ​​the shop next door to Calzedonia and avoids work while the other person works at a run and collects money. No matter how good the food is, if you have such an unfriendly waiter (105), then everything will be lost for you. Mr. Z. Maybe you didn't have a good day, but there's nothing we can do about that. We just wanted to eat something comfortably in the beer garden and friendliness doesn't hurt. On the contrary, it brings fun and a good mood.

The staff outside on Sendlinger Str. really doesn't go at all. There are several reasons for this: We reserved a table as a precaution and asked when we arrived whether it was possible to sit outside. Waiter A told us that you couldn't make a reservation outside anyway (which was great because everything outside except for one table was still free) - Waiter A then asked Waiter B if we could sit at a table there. Waiter B reacted extremely annoyed and argued and gestured in a completely stressed manner that everything was full and reserved and I don't know what else - at least it gave us the feeling that we were simply unwanted and should go somewhere else. After a long discussion, he reluctantly offered us a place. So far so good, the waiter who was responsible for our area was also quite nice and neutrally professional (Waiter C). Waiter A shined with (for him) funny jokes and disrespectful statements towards guests ("I don't argue, I have to work" (but then sits in front of the TV the whole time and is constantly standing around) or "I'm off work now , someone else will take care of it"). Waiter B then got into a fight with one of the guests because the guest wanted to move to another vacant table, which wouldn't have been an issue anywhere else, plus they simply gave this guest a half-full glass of beer (the waiter's statement was that). probably "you didn't give me enough tip") - the end of the story was that waiter B completely ignored this guest for the rest of the evening and didn't accept any more orders from him - absolutely unprofessional and arrogant. The food was good, but not outstanding - the Kaiserschmarren is okay, but definitely not worth 16 euros. Both in terms of taste and quantity.

The service was not very welcoming. Nothing sensational happened, but from the time we arrived to the time we paid there was always the feeling that if we had gone to eat somewhere else we would have been doing them a favor. The food is not bad but nothing exceptional. In my opinion the price is a little higher than what was offered.

But what left a bad taste in the mouth was the server's insistence on a 10 or 15% tip - when we asked for the bill, he came round to the table with the credit card reading machine and was going to key in the tip amount. We wanted to give only 5% as the service was slow and perfunctory. What I had googled regarding tipping etiquette in German restaurants had said tipping is not mandatory, 5 to 10% is fine, and 15% is for exceptional service. We asked if we could tip 5%. The Hackerhaus in Munich offers excellent Bavarian cuisine in a rustic ambience. The staff is very attentive and friendly. During the asparagus season I tried asparagus dishes that were excellently prepared. A recommended restaurant that I would like to visit again.

Abbiamo cenato fuori, in una bella serata di maggio, atmosfera gioviale, cibo tipico della cucina tedesca, birra a volontà. Ho scelto trio di wurstel come piatto principale e zuppa di asparagi per iniziare. Diciamo che non è rimasto molto posto per il dolce...
