Grillwerk in Wetzlar

09/29/24 (18:03) Just ordered with several colleagues via Lieferando. After paying via PayPal, we received a call and were told that some of the items from our order couldn't be prepared because they weren't available. After overcoming the language barrier, we simply chose something else, which was much cheaper. They didn't give us a refund. Delivery was, of course, very delayed. They called us again and asked for our address. I said everything was listed on Lieferando, but gave the address again over the phone. The food then arrived, and it was a huge disappointment. The fries were ice-cold, the meat extremely tough. No sauce as ordered. I'd rather not even start on the salad. Then, the excuse was that they were supposedly closing for good tomorrow :D, which is why they only had "leftovers." Even if that were the case, you have to indicate this on the online service. Never, never, never again....

After almost forgetting that I had even ordered a pizza, it finally arrived - and to my surprise, it was good. But hey, if you take longer next time, maybe pizza will be back in style by the time it arrives. Great taste, delivery time was a flop - I almost thought it had just been grown and harvested.

The burger we ordered also didn't match what was on the menu. It seemed as if the staff were completely overwhelmed. Even paying took forever, as the waiter apparently didn't know how to operate the cash register system.

We go there and want to order for my birthday. They say that the sign outside says they are closed but they are open 24/7 and Google Maps also said it was open

I was there a few days ago and never again! The African employee at the counter was very rude and unfriendly, I think he doesn't want to work. Not recommended!!!

Totally overpriced for the quality! Burgers have tasted better in the past. Burgers were hard and burnt, and the meat was barely seasoned and of poor quality!

The food was very good. The takeaway pizzas were made quickly and tasted excellent. We'd be happy to order again.

The burgers taste a bit weak, not enough meat for the large buns, hardly any BBQ sauce that you actually want. The presentation of the food at the table is good and modern.

Not good service I ordered food for 4 people. According to the employees, the food should come after 30-45 minutes. Lunch break is over. After calling several times, no one answered. Then they said it was on the way. 30 minutes after the call there was still no food. So waited more than 1.5 hours. Then just leave it if you can't serve your customers on time. The fries come in torn bags and the quality is simply subpar.

I recently visited the 'Grillwerk' restaurant and was pleasantly surprised. The kebabs and burgers here are simply outstanding! The ingredients are fresh, the meat is juicy and the portions are quite large. The service is first class, the staff is attentive and friendly. Mega delicious food. For me it was the best kebab I've eaten in a long time (or ever). The burgers were also really tasty. It just doesn't taste like run-of-the-mill. The vegetables are fresh and the sauces are better than many other kebab shops (or similar). The staff is also friendly.

I'm surprised that this kebab shop has such staying power. We weren't satisfied there and always go to Butzbach. I don't understand what this kebab lives on. Drive by there often. Food is okay at best, but below average. Employees are not just rude, but rude. This is certainly not the boss, because satisfied customers are usually important to them. Absolutely no recommendation, I'd rather drive another route instead of leaving another cent there.

Doner, pizza and burgers are on the menu. A little bit of each without highlights. In all areas there are better ones in Wetzlar. We can only recommend the ambience if you like old-fashioned things and want to smell like a chip shop.

Unfortunately only 2 stars from me. I ordered a very simple salami pizza here. The result was a pizza oregano. Way too much of the tutat. You can't taste the salami at all. There was far too little cheese on the pizza, so it was far dry and the cheese was completely burnt. The pizza crust was inedible. When I look at the map: €3 for a can of cola. €2 for an additional ingredient. Way too expensive. Pizza itself €8.50 is perfectly fine.

Worth a stop. The burgers are very good, cheese fries are particularly good. Doner kebab looks delicious too. 5 stars from me for a kebab shop.

Burger+Pommes waren lecker. Lokal in Ordnung. Toilette ausbaufähig...

Von Außen nicht sehr ansprechend! Und trotzdem auf anraten hin , sehr nette Bedienung, super leckeres Essen sehr dekorativ ansprechend angerichtet ...und mit gutem Gewissen weiter zu empfehlen 👌👍...war mit Sicherheit nicht das letzte mal dort !

Nette Location, mit freundlichem Personal. Es gibt einen guten Döner oder Fallafel oder eine weitere vegetarische Variante. Tipp: Die Pommes sind gut fritiert, nocht zu salzig und sehr lecker! Gerne wieder :-)

Ich habe eine Pizza bestellt die soweit auch in Ordnung war aber der Rand der Pizza war etwas schwarz sie war nicht geschnitten was man erwarten sollte und sie war ölich und matschig.

So jetzt gebe ich auch mal ein Kommentar ab.Wir waren auf der Durchreise und hatten Hunger.Da sind wir auf das Grillwerk aufmerksam geworden. Und ich kann nur gutes berichten.Die Burger waren echt klasse.Ich habe noch nie so einen leckeren Burger gegessen.Ich hatte den Veggie- Burger.Da war kein Gemüse- Partie drauf wie ich es sonst kenne.Es war besser.Nämlich frisch gegrilltes Gemüse.Das war so hammer lecker.Dieses ließ ich auch den Inhaber wissen.Für mich sind das sehr nette Menschen dort.Wenn wir wieder dort auf der Durchreise sind halten wir auf jeden Fall wieder dort an.

Essen war Lecker, Service war ein Schuss in den Ofen. Wir waren auf einem Kongress in der Nähe. In der Mittagspause sind dementsprechend viele Leute, inklusive uns, dort essen gegangen. Personal war komplett überfordert, essen wurde vertauscht bzw. willkürlich verteilt, so dass an unserem Tisch nur ich und eine Begleitung Essen bekommen haben. Die anderen sind hungrig abgezogen. Zu dem wurden wir beim bezahlen sehr sehr unhöflich angemacht. Schade.... Essen war aber gut.

Ich war gestern da und schwärme heute noch von den Burgern und Pommes. Das Team war auch sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich.

Sehr leckerer Burger (Amsterdam Burger mit Spiegelei und Bacon) und knusprige Pommes. Auch der Dönerteller ist lecker und die Portionen relativ groß. Das Personal ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Hat alles gepasst. Spitze!

Eigentlich ist Grillwerk echt geil aber als ich letztens einmal bei euch war war da einfach so ein Afrikanischer Mitarbeiter von euch und der hat mich richtig unnötig beleidigt und wollte das als Witz auch noch vertuschen. Weil ich aber Angst vor ihm hatte bin ich nach einem Döner wieder ohne was zu sagen nach Hause gegangen. Ich würde euch raten bei den Dönern euch ein Beispiel an Tadim zu nehmen weil die einfach das beste und natürlichste Fleisch haben. Ps: euch fehlt auch das scharfe Pulver von Tadim. Bei dem Pulver ist der Dünni danach vorprogrammiert 😮‍💨

Ehrlich gesagt der Döner Burger hier ist der beste Burger, den ich je in Deutschland hatte, und ich bin Amerikaner, also weiß ich, wovon ich spreche. Ich habe auch einen normalen Döner gekauft und der war unglaublich lecker. Honestly the doner burger here is the best burger I've ever had in Germany and I'm American so I know what I'm talking about. I also bought a regular doner kebab and it was incredibly good.
