Greentable Vegan Restaurant Rathaus in Hamburg

The ambience of Green Table is reminiscent of a Vietnamese house and is very appealing. The well-chosen decoration and the beautifully designed lampshades probably quickly collect dust, because apart from the dust described, the restaurant was very clean from the entrance to the toilets. The service staff tried very hard to accommodate guests between reservations and to fulfill their guests' wishes. They were also very attentive and reacted immediately when an arm was raised in the restaurant. The dishes are varied and very delicious. Only with the desert did I have the impression that it had been thawed. Everything else was prepared with fresh ingredients. Thank you for your great service. I would like to visit her again.

One of the best places in Europe to have outstanding, delicious, fresh, healthy vegan food. Service is 5 star! Owners are super respectful and attentive. Ambiance is authentic and relaxed. Location is central and accessible easily. Prices are very reasonable! Would 100% recommend and definately will come back!

For me personally it was super tasty. Small but nice card. Making the bowl as a woman is almost impossible. My friend went to a vegan restaurant for the first time and found it very tasty even as a meat eater. Food was prepared quickly. From the restaurant we walked 2 minutes to the Christmas market (it is directly opposite the police station)

We came here because of the good reviews. But unfourtunatelly, our visit was disappointning. The plating and service was good. But from the food itself I expected much more. I had Lil Bao Wow - bao bun was really dry and hard, obviously old, mango wasn't distinguisible in this dish; Dau Sate - it was just fried tofu witch coating, no flavor of anything but oil, served with salad that certainly wastn't fresh; Spicy Soup - this one was good; On top of all of that the served us tap water presenting it as bottled still water for 6,9! How did I recognise it? The top of the bottle was dirty with sediment that occurs after using it many times and not cleaning it properly. We won't be coming back.

We have been to GreenTable several times now. The selection is great and it's all vegan. My favorite at the moment is the curry. The taste is simply amazing.

Discovered by chance after visiting the Christmas market. We actually wanted to go out to eat in the Schanzenviertel and decided to stop here. I have rarely had such delicious food in my bowl. The service was really nice, the decor was really nice, the prices for the large dishes were absolutely right, the portions were large...this will be my favorite restaurant when we are in Hamburg. I definitely have to try the menu. Update 12/15/24: Been there for the third time within a year. It's still delicious at a very good price. I would still recommend it without reservation. The small bowls are just as delicious as the main courses.

Very impressed with this restaurant! Everything we ordered was super delicious and packed with flavour. The portions they serve are more than generous, and the prices are very reasonable.

We did a 3-day city trip in Hamburg and came across the restaurant by chance on the first evening. The ambience and service were very pleasant, we immediately felt at home. They outdid themselves in terms of taste, we both found the drink and food to be fabulous, so we were allowed to be guests again the next day and give them a clear recommendation.

We specially ordered a lot of different things so that we could try them out, but unfortunately most of the things were a bit bland and could have been seasoned more. In addition, the dips were only enough for half of the tofu, which was a shame because you then had to eat the rest dry. In addition, the staff wasn't particularly friendly.

The food came very quickly and the service was very friendly. The food was super tasty and fresh would go there again. The price is also completely reasonable and not too expensive. Can also recommend the cocktails. I had the Funky Monkey.

The food was served really fast and was tasty. All dishes are vegan. The staff were very welcoming. The restaurant is decorated simply but sweetly, matching the culinary style. I will definitely go again.

Unfortunately, this restaurant was only average during our stay in Hamburg. We had made a reservation and when we arrived we were shown strangely through the store and then seated at a table at the entrance. The service was relatively quick, which we liked. The tables, on the other hand, are very narrow, which doesn't make you feel comfortable. The food was okay, very fresh and okay, but compared to other restaurants of the weekend there was not much that you would remember. Unfortunately we wouldn't come back here next time.

We were looking for a vegan restaurant in Hamburg and found it here. Even though I, as a meat eater, was led to eat vegan, I really enjoyed my visit to this restaurant. When we walked in, we were greeted warmly and served with a smile by the staff who were quickly on hand. The food was served quickly and, above all, with fresh ingredients. The portions were large and filling. Even though the food was completely vegan and I normally only consume meat, I found the spring rolls very tasty and they tasted almost like meat - a strong effort from the chefs! My fellow vegans were also impressed by the dishes. (Despite all the delicious options, I had to satisfy my butcher's heart with some salami at home.) The ambience was definitely worth seeing; the toilets had an almost jungle look to them. It smelled a bit intense, but everything was still very chic. We will definitely visit this restaurant again when we are in the area. It is highly recommended, especially for anyone who doesn't like meat.

I love the restaurant! Good vegetarian and vegan dishes, nice staff, clean toilets and it tastes super delicious. I've also been to others that have almost identical menus and for me this restaurant is number 1.

Fantastic food, attractively prepared. Varied and really tasty.

Solid average for me. The dishes we tried were okay but nothing special. The broth of Pho Chay could be more flavorful. At least with a lot of herbs and (on request) fresh lime & chili. Small bowl (tofu cubes with peppers and spring onions) tastes remarkably like sweet and sour sauce from the bottle. Pineapple shake, however, was quite good. Interior like in many places. Very well maintained toilets. Service was quick but short (although it was already approaching the end of the day). Overall, not a mistake, but also not a store that will stay in my memory.

Best food ever! Real. I didn't know what to take because everything is so awesome. In the end I ordered way too much and overeated myself. everything is vegan. And I can highly recommend it to every meat eater. You won't miss anything here and can expand your gourmet horizons. Price performance is right for me.

We were looking for a vegan restaurant and came spontaneously based on the reviews. We got a table inside. The space could do with more atmosphere and the menus are pretty worn out. BUT: That was the best vegan meal we've ever had. We were all thrilled and no other restaurant could keep up. Definitely try it!!!

I have visited this vegan restaurant three or four times now and always enjoy coming back. The food is consistently delicious and the menu offers a varied selection of delicious, plant-based dishes. A small point of criticism, however, is the ambience of the restaurant. The interior is more reminiscent of a canteen and could be a little more comfortable. However, this doesn't detract much from the overall experience as the focus is clearly on the great food. Prices are also fair and reasonable, making the restaurant an ideal place for regular visits. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious and affordable vegan food. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

We had dinner with our children at the Greentable restaurant and loved the food and drinks. The dishes were colorful, delicious and very generous. We had a blast!

Perfect place for Vegetarian/Vegan food in Hamburg!! Food was delicious and it was a big portion. Staff were very friendly and the whole atmosphere was amazing!! In addition to the normal menu, there is also an excellent lunch menu during lunchtime. As the name of the restaurant suggests, all dishes are vegan. The food was delicious, but unfortunately the topping was no longer cross but rather soggy. My bowl tasted very tasty, especially the sauce. Unfortunately, card payment is only possible from €15.

Food is fine. Service is curt and at 9.35 pm we were no longer allowed to order a drink after our meal. Very strange, the place was still quite full and there were still people eating. This is very unfortunate.

We were very impressed with the restaurant - everything is plant-based and the cuisine is Vietnamese. When all the tables are filled it seems very busy, but we were there at a time when it was quite quiet. We had the Saigon Deluxe (a kind of mojito) and the Funky Monkey (with raspberry) as cocktails - very tasty and with a lot of alcohol in it. For starters we both had a 'bowl' - spring rolls and a mango carrot soup which were both very good. As a main course I had a filling, slightly spicy soup with tofu, mushrooms and much more. The other dish was a noodle salad with spring rolls. Both very tasty - although the salad was a bit simple. This is a must for anyone who comes to Hamburg as a vegan!

Great red curry, large portion and a very fair price! Hard to get full and satisfied for 12,90€ these days. Definitely recommend if you‘re going for a somewhat casual dinner out.

Top food! The portions were really big and super tasty at a fair price! The location in the city is also very central, in a side street next to the town hall - but the outside area facing the street was kept rather simple, inside the interior looked very nice! :)

Unfortunately, we cannot understand the many 5 star reviews. We actually think it's great that there is only vegan food, but in our opinion the implementation can be improved. Sometimes things described in dishes were not included or were very sweet. The Bao Bun was incredibly chewy compared to others we've had. We would therefore eat vegan Vietnamese somewhere else.

I went there alone for dinner and chose a seat inside. There were also some seats outside. The interior is very dark and in my opinion the dark furniture is far too close together and there are too many seats for the size of the room. It's better to reduce this so that you feel more comfortable. The toilet was very clean, nicely decorated and it smelled wonderful. The service was top notch. Very attentive, friendly, polite, accommodating and everything was delivered at a lightning speed. Wow! I chose the Asian tapas. I initially took three, but four would have been manageable. I liked the Lil Bao Wow the best, although the sushi and La Lot were also delicious and excellently prepared. I can recommend all three! Tasteful, loving, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. Vegan can be so delicious! For dessert I had sticky rice with mango and coconut milk. The coconut milk was hot and the mango was ice cold in places. The temperature difference was unpleasant, I would have preferred a mango at room temperature. Still, with the black rice it was absolutely delicious, filling and I would order it again.

The shop is delicious, although the large bowls all taste pretty much the same. We personally have had better ones. What put us off was that there were lots of disgusting little flies in the container where the soy sauce was when we took the lid off. Of course it can happen sometimes. We informed the waiter. He took the container, stuck his finger in it, crumbled the little black flies onto the floor and put it back on the table. It doesn't work at all! ...

Scrumptious dinner. A typical fusion vegan restaurant. Quantity is quite plenty. Tasty authentic Vietnamese pho. They have managed to make vegan cuisine more interesting. One must try if you are looking for a good vegan cuisine.

I had the udon something. Was really tasty and fresh. Good service and quick.

One of the homemade lemonades was ordered. People specifically asked if there was mint in it, but this was answered in the negative. The lemonade was served with mint as decoration. When I was repeatedly told that my mother was allergic to mint, the drink was taken away and a new one was brought. Since an allergic reaction occurred shortly after leaving it, we now know that the mint was simply taken out. Luckily for the store, it's just severe itching and not shortness of breath.

During our stay in Hamburg we actually had dinner at Greentable three times in a row because it tasted so good. The restaurant really offers everything a vegan heart desires, but everyone else is sure to enjoy it here too. Even if the ambience isn't the nicest and the employees aren't the most cheerful, I can recommend this restaurant to everyone!

Hospitality is probably out of place here. My son had a little pee accident today and I asked the staff if we could use the toilets for a fee. The answer was no. We had planned to stop there with friends in the evening, but that fell through.

Extremely rude personal. I came there and went there to wash my hands first and than when i was checking the menu i got impression that it’s nothing gluten free and not my choice of food ( change my mind). Waiter made a comment “yes you came just for toilet” while other waiter was laughing. Instead of asking what’s wrong or whatever…. Anyway, i don’t know how is the food, but people are terrible who are working.

The food was good. We enjoyed the soup with wontons a lot. I was a bit disappointed in Vietnamese coffee. I‘ve tried it in different places in Hamburg but this one was not my favourite. In general a good place but there was something missing, the place wasn’t cozy or welcoming enough.

At first I was a bit skeptical about visiting a vegan restaurant - but now I'm excited. I've been here three times now, all the dishes (the word "soup" is misleading) are rich and delicious. Even when it's busy, the service is polite and prompt. The ambience is young, simple. A bit noisy as it's just a big room.

Wonderful restaurant, food came quickly (about 10 minutes), the selection is large but small enough to decide. There were even pieces of blood orange in the water glasses. Very fancy
