We went there on a whim and got a table. The service was super friendly, quick, and professional, and the food was simply fantastic. Vegan dishes at their finest. Everything was fresh, superbly composed, and beautifully presented. The food was truly a delight. And the drinks are in a league of their own. "Very Berry" really means business with its berries, and "Orange Autumn" is a tea like a hug. We really enjoyed our visit. The only drawback: the tables are very close together, and the noise level is too loud for my taste. Therefore, the ambiance is a deduction.

It wasn't really my thing, but my companions liked it. You just have to like it.

The food is truly excellent and delicious. There was a misunderstanding with our first order, and we had to take the food as it was prepared. I wish they had been more accommodating, as it wasn't entirely my fault; I had asked several times. They only accept cash payments, which I find outdated. Luckily, there's an ATM in the kiosk next door. But the food keeps luring me back to Bodhi, so I'm happy to pay anything.

Very delicious food and a modern atmosphere. This isn't our first time here, and we'd love to come back anytime. The food is always fresh and delicious. There's a large selection of drinks. And dessert is always a good idea, too :-)

We ended up here on a recommendation – we easily reserved a table shortly beforehand, which was good because it was busy! The service was always slow, but very friendly! The food came quickly and was impressive! We really enjoyed the salmon and avocado tartare with homemade sesame sauce and the PAGODA DREAM! The dumplings and summer rolls were okay, but nothing special. The signature cocktail is quite expensive, but also incredibly delicious. We wouldn't recommend dessert; it spoiled our visit a bit... (Note: only cash payments are accepted! & three sharing dishes are recommended per person)

Unfortunately, I couldn't eat here because they only accept cash payments. As someone from abroad who usually pays by card, this was very inconvenient. Also, the parasol wasn't open outside, so you had to sit outside in the strong sun. What I found most disappointing, however, was that card payments aren't accepted at all—that's simply not up to date these days.

Absolutely delicious. Staff were very quick, very friendly, and attentive. The food and drinks were generous in portions and tasted excellent. Bodhi shops, Vegan Houses,... Similar concept, menu... If it's this delicious, I'll be happy if more shops open within Hamburg. Highly recommended. Thank you very much 🙏🙏😊❤️

We were there spontaneously today and all I can say is 🤩 super great fantastic 🤩 super tasty food, very friendly service 👍 The lunch menu is more than enough 😋😋 we had sushi and wontons and afterwards there was dessert 🤩 so we will be back 🥰

Be careful with intolerances! We were blatantly lied to. We repeatedly asked the waitress to make sure there was no gluten in the food (to which she reacted with some serious rudeness). In the end, we got the painful bill at home.

Everything's great. You can't pay by card, which is completely unacceptable in Hamburg. I hope you pay the sales tax collected to the tax office.

Best restaurant in Hamburg! The restaurant is all vegan and the menu offered so many options to choose from! It was really hard to choose but the staff was helpful! I can absolutely recommend the Udon Noodle Bowl! It was absolutely perfect, with so many different veggies and tofu! Also I can really recommend the Jasmine Tea, which was perfect! The restaurant itself is very cozy, even tho its a bit dark in the evening. The staff was friendly but told us to leave at some point even tho they weren't closing already and we felt a little bit pressured. But overall it was really nice and I recommend it tp everyone, especially vegan people!

Rarely have I been served so unfriendly

They only accept cash. As others have already written, there's only one logical explanation. I don't understand why I should leave my AFTER-TAX salary there. Bad, and especially deliberate – you're immediately informed of this upon entering.

We often sit outside and eat. It's delicious, and the service is always friendly. Unfortunately, for years now, you've only been able to pay in cash, which is a bit impractical, outdated, and always a little suspicious. And I find the reference to the restroom a bit bitter for a restaurant that relies on making its living on the public sidewalk...

I've been to this restaurant many times and always enjoy it – the food is consistently excellent, the quality is consistently high, and the service is fast, friendly, and attentive. You generally feel very comfortable there, and the food arrives without long waits. Unfortunately, on my last two visits, I saw mice in the dining room. That's an absolute no-go for me and completely ruined my experience. As unfortunate as it is, despite the truly excellent cuisine, I won't be visiting the restaurant again under these circumstances.

First time visiting Hamburg from the US. I’m not vegan. But I try to be as much as possible. This place is easily one of the best restaurants I have ever been to in my life. The golden soup and sweet potatoes were incredible. Friendly staff. Cool neighborhood atmosphere. Probably the best curry I’ve had in my life and I have eaten at more Asian places than I can remember. Truly amazing. If you’re in Hamburg, eat here; doesn’t matter if you’re vegan or not. You won’t regret it. My only problem is their 30€ minimum to use a credit card, and they don’t take American Express. Other than that, awesome experience.

Asian restaurant in Hamburg. I ordered a "Golden Soup" with noodles. The bland dish was delicious, and the ingredients were very fresh. The service was friendly and attentive. The price/performance ratio was good. The ambiance was okay.

A delicious, friendly, and seamless experience. I was fully taken care of, and the food tasted amazing. I'm not actually vegan myself; it was just a test run, but the food was truly amazing, and the (in my opinion, lost) principle of "the customer is king" still applies here. Great shop.

Difficult. The food was good. However, you can only pay in cash, which raises some concerns for me. It's extremely loud and echoes heavily, making it less than cozy. The service also leaves a lot to be desired. After we asked for the bill, we were told that we had laughed too loudly and that an elderly lady at the next table felt disturbed. The elderly lady vehemently denied this, saying it wasn't true. Overall, it was unpleasant.

Delicious, friendly and nice atmosphere.

The vegan restaurant Bodhi is really recommended. The restaurant is located right next to the subway station and is therefore very easy to reach. The employees are very nice and helpful. The food is really great and very tasty. The map isn't very big but it's really good. The food is delivered very quickly and it simply tastes very good. It is one of the best vegan restaurants I have eaten at.

We spontaneously visited Bodhi for lunch today and realized that we haven't left a review here yet. We want to do that now. We have been visiting Bodhi for a long time and it has developed into one of our oases of well-being. Whether in the restaurant or as a take-away: the loving and detailed preparation of the dishes, the fresh and crunchy products and the diverse selection of drinks are simply perfectly coordinated. Basically we can recommend everything on the menu. So far there hasn't been anything that wasn't tasty. In addition, the service is very attentive and super friendly. All in all, a real vegan recommendation!

So delicious! The tofu variations are highly recommended. I would never be able to make the fried tofu sticks like this at home, so I'm happy to treat myself to a restaurant visit to Bodhi😍 The udon noodles are also delicious and have a great price-performance ratio. Together with the mango coconut lassi a perfect meal 😍 The service is also top! The only deduction is one star for the noise level in the restaurant, which sometimes makes it difficult to hold a conversation.

We spontaneously went to the restaurant on a Friday lunchtime and had no problem getting a table. Unfortunately, reservations are only possible in advance by telephone. I would like to see an online system here. The restaurant is very small, but nicely decorated and invites you to stay there for a while. If the weather is good, you can also eat directly in front of the shop. The staff is very attentive and polite and creates a friendly atmosphere. We agreed pretty quickly on what we wanted to order and decided on a drink, a starter, a main course and a shared dessert. We paid around €53 for this. (The exact price can be found on the website, except for the drinks.) Which in my opinion is a fair price for the food. The preparation also went quickly, so we didn't have to wait long for our food. The portion and quality of the food is very good and corresponds to the price-performance ratio. In the store you can only pay with cash and not with an EC card. The next time we are in the area we would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone who likes to be vegan.

If you like Asian food, you should know Bodhi in St Georg! For us, a real authority in Hamburg - and at more than fair prices. On our second visit within a year, an incredibly delicious variety of delicacies awaited us, highlighting the different flavors of Asian cuisine. Once again we enjoyed trying out the various non-alcoholic (and alcoholic) cocktails. Very courteous and quick service and a pleasant atmosphere round off the experience with 4 people. PS: The food is 100% vegan - so most meat lovers probably won't miss any meat!

They don’t take cards which for me is completely nonsense at this point. Quality dropped since a few years, but food is on average still fine. Staff is friendly but sometimes slightly chaotic (drinks ordered that were never brought to the table but still on the check for example). Don’t feel like coming back anytime soon.

The “LOVING TOFU” skewer with crispy tofu and creamy peanut sauce impresses with its balance of spice and nuttiness. Edamame with sea salt remains classically good. Highlight: The “CRISPY CRISP TOFU” sticks – crunchy on the outside thanks to rice crisp, soft on the inside, plus a clever raspberry chili dip for sweet and spicy accents. Absolutely try it!

Extremely good, just maybe a little loud

Great food, everything vegan, great service, feel-good atmosphere. The meal was a real experience and really fun. The four of us ordered different little things to share and that was really fun. In the end we ended up with a price of €25 per person, including homemade drinks. Very fair!

Simply tasty! Even if you're a non-vegan you can enjoy it here - after all, good food doesn't just consist of meat. Of course, the shrimp substitute can't compete with real shrimp, but that's not what the store can do about that. As a replacement product, it still works - and given the questionable aquaculture, it may still be the better choice.

Delicious and cheap, I've been here several times. As a woman, you'll be full from just one sushi roll; there are 10 large pieces. I say this as someone who usually orders 2 rolls + starter. The only negative point is that you can only pay in cash.

I've been to Bodhi's very often and really like the food. I especially liked the crispy tofu. But otherwise all the dishes and drinks have been very tasty. If you want to order a few small dishes to share instead of a large bowl, it quickly becomes expensive. In principle, the prices are not overpriced. The restaurant is a pleasant size and modernly furnished. The light in the front part is rather dim, but I like that. The music is often loud and even with moderate visitors I find the general volume to be too high. There is a high chair for children, which I think is very good. The fact that card payment is not offered is communicated very clearly, but it is still very unusual these days. I think every guest has thought about their part...

As a meat eater, I went here just to try it as my girlfriend recommended it. Food was excellently good. For me it was really surprising how good food you can have without steak or other meat. We went there three times in a row. Very strong recommendation.

First of all: GO Vegan. Fundamentally support all restaurants that offer this! :) BUT: Contrary to the rating here, the sushi is unfortunately below average. Still cold from the fridge, hard rice and lots and lots of mayo. A good sushi is lukewarm and smooth (and without mayo). Maybe my expectations are too high, but definitely insufficient. That's better. :)

Bodhi Vegan Living is simply fantastic! The selection of vegan dishes is varied and creative, and everything I tried was absolutely delicious. The ingredients are fresh, the flavors are perfectly balanced, and the presentation of the food is beautiful. Particularly noteworthy is the friendly and attentive service, which makes the visit a real experience. The atmosphere is relaxed and modern, perfect for a cozy evening. An absolute must for vegans and anyone who likes to eat plant-based – fully recommended!
