TA Vegan House Altona in Hamburg

I come here so often to eat “tapas”. I love it every time - always delicious. I always bring new people there who have never been there before because I think it's so great!

Great little restaurant with a manageable, purely vegan menu. The four of us (2 adults, 2 children) had a total of 9 bowls, which filled us very well. The different dishes were very tasty, the children also thought so!

We come regularly and the food is great, the atmosphere is cozy and the service is very friendly. There is a lot of catching up to do when it comes to card payments: only EC cards and only from 20 euros, and then the card reader was repeatedly broken when we were there. That doesn't seem serious.

It immediately became my favorite restaurant in Hamburg. Delicious. Ashamed that I didn't try it before

Great value for money, very nice service. With such a great selection it was difficult to decide. Everything tasted delicious. We will definitely come back to try more delicacies.

Once again a great experience!! We really enjoy eating here with the whole family. My son, who loves eating meat, is always surprised at how good it is to eat here! Great service! A great shop through and through. We'll be back!

Addendum: at the end an apology and dessert on the house :-]. The service is underground today. The waiter places food on the other half of the table with his head turned away. Red curry has a soupy, thin consistency??? Instead of food 13 there is number 3. It can happen. But when I complained in surprise after a few bites that I was missing the pumpkin, the waitress said that I had already taken a bite. After insisting, I get the right thing, but unfortunately it's very unfriendly. A serving robot is the friendlier version.

Was here for the first time. The smell of the food is unforgettable but the taste was a little below expectations. Still highly recommended, even for non-vegans...

A bit like in the fairy tale “Little Table Deck Yourself”, within a very short time after ordering, an entire table is filled with delicious vegan tapas. You'll want to lick your fingers with every single one. Be sure to visit as a couple: the more you order, the more you can try. Each one a small poem, all together an oeuvre. A paradise for all hungry explorers.

The food, ambience and service were very good, no complaints there. But what seems extremely out of date is that card payments are only accepted for orders over €20. Especially at lunchtime, you tend to stay below this amount and then denying the customer this because of a few cents in fees, even though the technology is there, just seems petty. So the store (unfortunately) isn't on the list of options for regular lunches. Otherwise I would have been back twice already, I wonder how many card payments were offset by the lost sales.

We ordered 5 dishes and they all tasted very, very good. I can only recommend it. Drinks also very good.

It was incredibly delicious. We even ordered the dish in the photo again instead of dessert because it was so delicious. Great recommendation! Service was also very friendly. However, I would recommend making a reservation a day in advance because it is a very popular restaurant - and rightly so. We'd love to come back :)

It was a very nice restaurant visit. The employees were very friendly and our wishes were always fulfilled when asked. The decor is very inviting and spending some time here is easy. The food was very fresh and nicely prepared. The taste of the food is delicious. You really can't complain here. We also give a lot of respect to a purely vegan restaurant.

Not the usual Asian uniformity from the metro, but still not a real treat. Neither exciting in terms of taste nor craftsmanship. Very mildly seasoned.

Super tasty and extremely attractively prepared dishes. The tapas principle is very good, so you can try it out. 3 dishes are enough per person if you still want to manage dessert. There was no card payment when we were there. Maybe it's always like that or maybe just today. Always happy again!

My mother (a committed meat eater) had strong doubts at first... after our visit, she raved about this restaurant to everyone who didn't want to hear it. The service is super nice and the food came more than quickly. you have to try it!!!

It was my first time there and I was very surprised at how quickly the dishes were delivered. These were perfect and tasted very good. The service was also very attentive. It's good to sit inside, but unfortunately the seating outside is very limited. Highly recommended if you are looking for a vegan restaurant. These prices are also completely reasonable.

The food tasted great, the portions were somewhat small. The service varied a lot depending on who was attending. Some were really friendly, some others not so much. Still the food was good and the atmosphere in general is nice to come with friends.

The food tasted super delicious. The portions are just way too small. A main course (bowl) + dessert should actually be filling. That wasn't the case for me or my companion. We were served in a friendly manner, the food came quickly and was beautifully prepared.

On our first visit we had to have the concept of the menu briefly explained to us, but they were happy to do so. You have the option to choose between larger main courses and smaller portions. With the latter option you can put together delicious variations. Comparable to tapas, but Asian. We really liked the atmosphere, the quick service and the food. I will definitely come back!

I try to keep it short, which is not easy for me given this high quality. The interior and its details, the friendliness, the choice of music, and of course, first and foremost, the dishes and teas. The atmosphere is nice and authentic. The visit was a surprise and simply makes you happy. When you visit, you can feel how Ta and his team think about every detail and also simply the experience and finesse in the kitchen. For me one of the best restaurants in Hamburg.

All in all, the ambience, food and prices are okay, but there are better vegan shops that would have earned 5 stars. In my opinion, the selection of drinks can be expanded. The food was served within 5 minutes of ordering - on the one hand nice if you are hungry. On the other hand, there is a fast food feeling, which again doesn't fit with the look of the restaurant. Because in general it is very comfortable. Small exception: the wall at our table was unfortunately completely spattered/dirty.

The food was very tasty, I would even give it 5 stars. Unfortunately, the staff wasn't that friendly, my girlfriend and I sat for just 5 minutes after we'd finished eating when someone came and said that we had to leave slowly because it was getting full. We actually wanted to order dessert, but decided to leave it alone and leave.

Super nice and courteous staff! The food is super longer and the value for money is really great! We are not vegan but love the food and always enjoy coming! Absolutely recommended 🙌

Delicious vegan food with lots of choice. Super fast service

I made a reservation and when I arrived for dinner I was assigned the worst table. The table was in front of the front door (2m away) on a snowy day, so one person got cold air straight to their back while the other's back slammed against the bar.

Das Restaurant ist sehr schick eingerichtet und man fühlt sich wohl. Das Personal ist super nett und die Küche sehr schnell. Wir waren zu sechst und haben unser Essen alle gleichzeitig nach c.a. 15 Minuten erhalten. Die Gerichte sind super lecker und einfach auch mal was anderes! Gerade mit den kleinen Bowls kann jeder mehrere Gerichte probieren, diese sind auch sehr unterschiedlich. Alles in Allem sehr empfehlenswert! Ich komme gerne wieder.

Sehr leckeres Essen. Es gibt viele kleinere "Häppchen" zum durch probieren. Von vier Häppchen ist man sehr satt. Schönes entspanntes Ambiente und die Bestellung wurde sehr schnell serviert! Wir haben die Bedienung manchmal schwer verstanden, aber trotzdem sehr freundlich und aufmerksam :)

Unglaublich lecker! Klare Empfehlung! Liebevoll zubereitete Speisen, die echte Bauchwärmer und Seelentröster sind. Ich hatte die Bowl Nr. 21 "Goldener Lotus", eine reichhaltige Nudelsuppe mit Wantans und Gemüse - unfassbar schmackhaft - als Getränk einen heißen "Ginger Limes", also Ingwer-Tee mit Limette, Minze und Zitronengras - wunderbar- und zum Nachtisch durfte ich ein Dessert testen, das noch nicht (Stand: Januar 2024) auf der Karte steht: Taro-Klebreis mit cremiger Kokossoße - sehr köstlich. Die Bedienung war sehr nett und zugewandt. (Am Rande bemerkt: Auch die Toiletten waren sehr sauber und gepflegt.) Es ist so toll, eine derart große Auswahl an geschmacklich-vielfältigen Speisen zu haben, die offenkundig mit Liebe gemacht werden! - Ich werde sicher wiederkommen.
