GOSCH Heiligenhafen in Heiligenhafen

Absolutely aimed at tourists. We waited forever for the order, after an hour of asking my husband was not taken seriously and brushed off in an unfriendly manner, we had to be patient. After another 30 minutes we asked again because the same order had now arrived at the next table, even though the people had come after us. Suddenly our order was no longer there. We had to be patient a little longer, but then we left the restaurant and had our money returned. Otherwise, there are a lot of dishes there that you just throw into the deep fryer, but are clearly too expensive for that.

Food is good. With the open kitchen, you could also see that the chefs had fun at work. Drinks and food were prepared quickly.

Delicious lunch in Heiligenhafen. You felt a bit rushed during the ordering process. The plates should be warmed up so that the food stays hot a little longer. The fish was super on point👍🏻

The prices are generous, the portions are good. Self-service...but it was cleared away. The fish nuggets were a bit too crispy, the fries could have used more seasoning. The bottom line is that I would have expected more from Gosch.

The food was very tasty, it's actually a fast food restaurant and great. The service is really good, plates are cleared, the table is wiped immediately 👍. It's actually a large hall, but it's really nicely laid out, you can sit great with a great view of the marina and Graswarder 😃

I don't rate service because you have to do everything yourself. The atmosphere is rustic and cozy. When it is full, the volume level is very high. You're welcome to pop in for a drink in between, but if you want to eat comfortably, we personally think it's too busy and too expensive considering you have to do everything yourself.

Since Gosch has been in Heiligenhafen, we have been there more often and with different friends. The quality of the food, the service and the ambience are great as usual.

Update 02.2025 Everything was great again today. Fish salad fried potatoes everything on point. Staff very friendly today. Gosch Heiligenhafen is super good. Nice team everywhere at the stations. The service team was very attentive. The kitchen team was super positive. The food is amazing. Fresh and delicious on the table. I also think it's great that the dog is allowed in.

Hello, unfortunately the food was absolutely not tasty and matched the price. The fried potatoes were cold, as was the plaice fillet, which was also still cooked. All in all a disaster...not recommended. We have already been to other Gosch Sylt restaurants and it was much better...the service at the order counter was unfortunately not able to communicate properly in German...

Once a gosh, always a gosh. Ambience, quality and freshness are also at the top here. The fact that when there is a lot of hectic and hustle and bustle the fish at the outside counter is a little slanted in the roll and the tartar sauce is not placed in the middle may bother some people, but we found the friendly words of the staff more important. Inside, the background noise is a little louder than you would expect from Sylt or Travemünde, for example. This seems to be due to the construction and furnishings. The food was fresh and delicious as in all Gosch restaurants.

Unfortunately, we were disappointed this time. Unfortunately, the price/performance ratio is no longer as good as it was, housewife-style matjes fillet is much too expensive and you can get better and cheaper somewhere else. Baked fish with fried potatoes is no longer as good as it was a year ago. Staff friendly. Ambience is still the best. For us we first take a break at Gosch Heiligenhafen.

Wir waren mal große Gosch-Fans, die Zeiten sind aber längst vorbei aufgrund einer Enttäuschung nach der anderen, egal welches Restaurant wir besucht haben. Das Ambiente ist klasse, der Rest nicht: Bratkartoffeln viel zu fett und zu grob geschnitten, der Fisch war totgebraten, das Personal arbeitet nach einem festen Schema ohne wirklich zu wissen, was sie tun, Hauptsache schnell. Nebenbei scheint beim männlichen Personal ein schwarzer Vollbart mit finsterem Blick zum Einstellungskriterium zu gehören. Wir gehen jedenfalls nicht mehr hin.

Food was okay, but really not a highlight. Baked fish that is simply thawed and fried straight out of the freezer is really disappointing. You can get better fried fish at every fair. The pan fish was very good. I can't rate the service because it's self-service.

Youth hostel 2.0! Poor Germany, The friendliness of some of the employees when serving food needs improvement. He obviously didn't take his courtesy drops today. Given the prices, I find it questionable to queue for food and drinks! Furthermore, the beeping of the pick-up transmitters is an imposition! This is how you ruin supposedly good names.

The fine fish plate had a burnt taste throughout. The share of fish for 25.50 euros was manageable. The currywurst was good. There are better restaurants in Heiligenhafen, even with service.

Chic building, inside and out, in a prime location. There was basically no service as it was self-service. The food was overpriced; especially the "gourmet plate", where the amount of fish could have been a little more for the price. Unfortunately the Thai noodles were not warm enough. Overall, the food was tasty.

Good food, Gosch. As always, very good. What is not possible is the request at the EC terminal to give a tip. For what? You choose a table yourself, order at the counter yourself and get your own drinks and food. Tips have to be earned! This is a mockery for everyone who serves in the catering industry, because serving is strenuous and that doesn't exist here. Unfortunately, the store is also the disappointment of our short vacation. It's closed on Mondays AND Tuesdays. What's that supposed to mean? This is really bad.

We live on Fehmarn and often go over to Gosch, simply wonderful, very nice service and the food is always excellent. Best regards Lotty Becker Fehmarn.

Nach einem Abendspaziergang mit reichlich kalter Luft und knurrenden Mägen wollten wir einfach noch was essen, damit die Küche zuhause kalt bleibt... Wir sind zum ersten Mal bei Gosch in Heiligenhafen! Verwirrend das Bestellsystem! Essen bestellen am Tresen und Getränke an der Bar.... seltsam..... (Wo ist der Tresen? Hab mal beim Nachbartisch nachgefragt) OK! Erst mal Getränke aussuchen.... (Ganz schön teuer für n Alster 0,4 = 4,90 € und ne Tasse Glühwein 4,00 €) Dann Essen aussuchen... Wir entschieden uns für 1x Nordseescholle (an der Ostsee) Finkenwerder Art mit Bratkartoffeln und Salat und 1x Edelfischpfanne vom Grill mit Bratkartoffeln und Saucen. Jetzt läufst du erstmal an den Tresen (Essen) weil der Pieper piepst.... und jonglierst das Tablett an den Tisch und anschließend an die Bar zum bestellen und abholen der Getränke! Soweit so gut! Kritik 1 Edelfischpfanne: Fisch war niemals auf dem Grill sondern in der Pfanne!!! Gegrillter Fisch sieht oberflächlich anders aus! Bratkartoffeln nur lauwarm! Dafür 25.50 € ist absolut zu viel!!! Kritik 2 Nordseescholle Finkenwerder Art: Im großen und ganzen ganz ok! Große Scholle, Speck und ne Menge Grünzeug.... ABER..... Die Bratkartoffeln waren ebenfalls nur lauwarm und dafür... 26.90 €!!! Naja... zwar nicht günstig, aber es ging. Das ganze Abendessen kostete uns 61,30 € Ich denke, mal reinsitzen und was trinken bei der tollen Aussicht ist ok, aber essen werden wir dort bestimmt nicht mehr.

Coincidence exists. GOSCH Sylt, in our second Gosch we came here by chance (a month ago we were in Gosch Flensburg). It is self-service here, you order and receive a shiver, you also order drinks at another bar. The food was fine again. It was busy and a German couple asked if they could sit with us at a four-person table. Glad I said yes because it was a very pleasant evening, albeit a bit late for me. Around nine o'clock some tables were moved and a DJ arrived. It lasted a long time. Nice, thanks!

It's good to sit there. No service at the tables. But friendly staff at the stations. Food is good, but portions are manageable. Pleasant and relaxed atmosphere, even with children.

Food is good Currywurst with fries is delicious and served with salad. Fish platter was also plenty and tasty. There is no service other than wiping tables, so order and pick up at the food counter. We were regulars from the very beginning. It's just a shame that the new management is also breaking new ground. Food quality has deteriorated significantly, drinks (as the photo of Lillet Wildberry shows) only consist of ice cubes. But unlike before...there are always a lot of places available. More appearance than reality, the name is big and present, but nothing more. "Service" is just clearing plates, you have to order, pay for and pick up food and drinks yourself at the kitchen pass or the counter. So far it's not bad, but anyone who expects a lot here will be disappointed. Baked fish is a frozen product that you can put in the oven yourself at home. The Rösti are also a frozen product that can be found everywhere in the supermarket. The large portion of shrimp is enough for lunch but not as a dish costing over €20. It's a shame because the ambience and location are great, but you still expect more from the name Gosch. A few meters further you can get the dishes and quality that you expect by the sea.

I actually like being here. But today it was just too cold outside. - Unfortunately, at our request, the heating lamps were not turned on. Unfortunately, the food, drinks and the view of the sea were not enjoyable! - Also the cleanliness of the tables left a lot to be desired, what didn't make the food tastier!! - What a shame, just a shame!!!

In terms of food and service, this is by far the best Gosch restaurant we have come across. On the one hand, we were very impressed by the flexibility of the kitchen to respond to customer requests and the wonderful and friendly approach of the great team. I just say: keep it up and, above all, good luck for the future!

After there were no shrimp rolls in the fish hall, we went to Gosch. The crab roll, which cost around €9, was ordered full of joy and anticipation. What you got was a three-times baked, bone-dry, carelessly smeared, unsightly and tasteless roll with a handful of crabs and a touch of tartar sauce. It's better to walk 500m up the promenade and get a sandwich there, as you'll also get something for the eyes. As carelessly as the rolls are presented in the drawer, they also taste good. Then it's better to make it yourself with ingredients from Rewe or something like that. You get more for your money.

The food was excellent, small shrimp plate. Our food was ready before I got the drinks because there was a long line. Therefore only 4 stars. We didn't drink anything either.

Unfortunately, this branch has declined significantly over the short period of its existence. This particularly applies to the quality of the food and the portions. It's a shame, but maybe that's one reason why you almost always get a seat here... (The photo shows Gosch Heiligenhafen at 7:30 p.m., I don't have the words) I've always enjoyed going to many Goschs in Germany, but this branch is really bad. There are better chip shops!

Although you have to fetch the food and drinks yourself, it tastes very tasty. The tables are cleared by really exceptionally nice staff. The ambience is rounded off with a view of the marina and heated terrace. The price is reasonable here. Definitely worth a visit.

We ate ice cream at the ice cream stand there. Nice staff and good ice cream at a reasonable price. The fish display seemed bland and not really inviting. The fish sandwiches were definitely not value for money. The rating therefore only refers to the ice cream.

Gosch is actually always good. But now when you pay with a card, the first thing that comes up is “whether you tip”. It's self-service. And the employees should also be friendly. It wasn't like that yesterday. Not nice ,............

Well, Gosch is also known from Sylt. I was super disappointed. Fried fish with fries picked up by self-service. The fried fish was one of the worst I've ever eaten. That wasn't fresh fish for me. And on the coast. Baked fish also has a delicious breading. The dish seemed like it to me frozen fish from Aldi. I don't normally post such negative reviews, but this one is important to me.

The atmosphere is as usual. I give 4*, .k. My shrimp dish used to come with two sauces, now it’s just one. You place the order yourself and receive a button that notifies you when your order is ready. You pick it up yourself. For cold weather, blankets are provided outside. Nice view. I recommend

Is an upscale self-service restaurant. You have to know that. Fish dishes were very good. There are also lots of little things and a large outdoor area.

Ate a plate of noble fish and fried fish with fried potatoes there for lunch this afternoon, with 1 Lille Rose Tonic and 1 beer. The only thing that tasted good was the beer, the glass with Lille was filled almost to the brim with ice and the color was transparent instead of rose, and that for 9 euros, when we asked the waiter we were told that he had to do it that way. The noble fish tasted like water, and the baked fish like an old fish stick that was forgotten in the oven for a week. Gosch and Heilienhafen once, never again. On the other hand, Gosch in Travemünde is a gourmet restaurant, it depends on who is behind the counter.

So that was nothing, drinks only consist of ice cubes for 8.90 euros. Food for 22.50 euros snack, fried potatoes very bad. Staff fresh. Staff needs to be trained or checked. It's a shame that I know Gosch differently and very well.

Everything takes longer than you are used to at other Gosch locations. But you pay even more here than on Sylt. Sorry, but luckily there are other alternatives nearby.

Die Currywurst war totgebraten ,die Pommes zu laberich. Und das für 11,90€ Das Flusskrebsfeisch nicht durchgebraten ,die Portion für 16,90€ viel zu klein. Einziger Lichtblick ist Mo an der Kasse und die Serviceleiterin .

What can I say Mc. Donald of the North. The food tastes good but is too expensive for self-service. Here the name is sold (and in my opinion devalued).

Card payment takes over 5 minutes, Food was lukewarm and a homemade mint lime lemonade tasted like the cheapest sugar water - the service also only spoke broken German. Unfortunately you only pay for the location…

Have eaten better in other Gosch branches. Fish was part part. Hollandaise sauce was lengthy and very sparse. Well, there really is better in Heiligenhafen.

Unfortunately it has worn off a lot! I had dinner at Gosch today, and when my plate of fine fish was finally ready, after waiting for over an hour, I was very surprised at the very, very small fish fillets. When I commented that the fish portion was significantly larger on my last visits, the counter staff said that was fine, the quantity was correct. I won't be coming back!

The employees who cleared the plates - you have to get your own food and drinks given the price - were very nice and the location is great.

Good news, the atmosphere is great and the staff is friendly. The bad news, only holiday processing. For fish & chips €9.90, which is a large portion of fries with no less than 4, yes 4, small pieces of fish. Borders on usury. The fried potatoes from the catering establishment were dripping with fat if they had been fried and not just warmed up. All in all, far too expensive, but every chip shop conjures up something better...

The restaurant is beautifully located directly on the marina. Great ambience. The service is very friendly and good. This time we only had fried fish in a roll at the outdoor counter. But it tasted very good.
