Restaurant Mykonos in Heiligenhafen

I'm shocked. We were there on vacation and ordered food over the phone, according to the menu on their website. When my partner went, he paid €7 more per meal than stated on the website, and the taste wasn't great either. €62 for three meals without drinks, terrible...they should first update the website. It was the first time for us and definitely the last 👎

The dishes are good and plentiful.

We spontaneously went to the restaurant yesterday. The place was completely full, so we were asked to wait for an hour. After an hour, we returned and had to wait a bit longer. We were offered an ouzo, and then we were seated at the table. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The food we ordered was of excellent quality and beautifully presented. We would love to come back here again.

We checked the online menu, the prices were reasonable, but when we got there, the prices were suddenly completely different. The online prices were from 2023. We were there on October 5, 2025. Ordered a platter for two people... well, everything tasted the same, not at all spicy... 😟 We had Rostock currywurst the day before at Hafen Rostock. We wish we had gone there again; it was delicious, spicy, and top-notch 👍

This was the worst Greek food we've ever eaten!!! The Metaxa sauce for €5.90 tasted like a bad tomato sauce, and it was only two tablespoons. The tzatziki tasted like a bad store-bought sauce... The meat was barely seasoned, the fries were limp and barely seasoned. The "best" was the salad. The value for money is unrealistic. You spend a lot of money on bad food. Not recommended!

From the terrace, you have a great view of the water conservation area, and you can also enjoy a sundowner. The food was delicious and plentiful. The noodles with vegetables were very tasty, and the gyros with pork and liver were also excellent, and they even served tzatziki! The starter salad was also excellent.

The main course was very good. The salad and drinks weren't what we'd expect from a good restaurant. The wine was warm and the salad wasn't quite fresh. The service left a lot to be desired. We won't eat here again.

We've been customers from the very beginning and come here about three times a year when we visit relatives in Heiligen Hafen. Yesterday we were here again and ate with six people. We had two Hellas platters, two gyros with souvlaki, and two gyros. First, we were offered a welcome drink of ouzo. The drinks arrived quickly, and as soon as they arrived, the salad arrived a few minutes later. Less than five minutes later, the food arrived. All the dishes were piping hot and beautifully presented. Taste is subjective, but we were all very satisfied. The different cuts of meat also tasted different. The souvlaki had a lovely roasted aroma from the grill, and the gyros had its own distinctive flavor thanks to roasted aromas and typical spices. The small biftekis also received high praise. We finished with an ouzo, and a lovely evening with great food and excellent service ended with the last rays of sunshine on the beautifully landscaped terrace.

Disappointing visit – unfortunately, the last time for us There were four of us (2 adults, 2 children). Unfortunately, the service itself was noticeably inattentive. Drinks and food took a long time to arrive – it's best not to go here if you're hungry. As for the prices: Of course, we're aware that everything has become more expensive. But the jumps here are simply too extreme. In 2023, the gyro with fries and tzatziki cost €12.90, in 2024 it was €14.90, and in 2025 it's now €19.90 – for a relatively small amount on the plate. That corresponds to a price increase of over 54% in just two years for a single plate of food. The price-performance ratio is no longer in our opinion. Therefore, this was unfortunately our last visit to this restaurant.

We went in first to ask if we could sit outside and were invited to the beer garden. That's how they knew we wanted to eat there, but after 20 minutes, no one came. I had to make myself known that we were there, and then someone did. The food was good; one liver was perfect, the other a bit tough, like a shoe sole. The tzatziki and rice were unseasoned, but otherwise, it was good. The price was great, too.

Very friendly, attentive staff and super delicious food. Large portions that are almost impossible to finish – the leftovers are simply packed up to take away. We've been here a few times and it's one of our favorites when we're at the holiday park!

Unfortunately, the table was covered in bird droppings, and they were serving food on it. Salad was brought out, but I think you have to eat with your hands. Paid for the drinks and left.

I wanted to have dinner with my family. After half an hour, we barely managed to make ourselves heard (other guests alerted the waiter). They said they didn't have enough staff and it might take a while. There were only three of them, and the place was only half full. The waiter didn't seem sorry when we said we'd go somewhere else to eat.

I was there late last night, just before the kitchen closed, but the four of us were still able to order. At first, I thought the prices were quite high, but then I saw the large portions and the fresh ingredients, and above all, I experienced the wonderful flavors, and I, along with all my companions, was thrilled. For what felt like an eternity, we were transported to Greece, the best culinary experience you can get. From the outside, it might look a bit like a typical Greek restaurant. Don't be fooled; in reality, it's an oasis of good taste. An absolute must-see and an insider tip if you find yourself in Heiligenhafen.

When we decided to eat at a Greek restaurant, we were warmly greeted at the entrance and assigned a table. Drinks were served promptly, and our food orders were taken upon request. We had the Cretan grill platter + rice, fries, and plenty of tzatziki, which was perfectly sufficient for three people (two adults and two children). The restaurant was busy, and the atmosphere seemed to be good. We liked the ambiance, a bit like a Greek holiday. We'll be back for dinner next year. ****ADDITIONAL INFORMATION****: Went back after two years and ordered the same thing. I can fully understand that the prices need to be raised. But the fact that there's less food on the plates and the carelessly presented food is a disgrace. Everything was slapped onto one plate, and the flavor was truly bland. We'll only go there for drinks from now on.

It's already one of our favorite spots (terrace), but unfortunately, Taramas' prices have "exploded." The portions have shrunk dramatically, and the days of an extra ouzo on the house are over. Otherwise, nice and friendly!

We ordered takeaway today. The food was good, but nothing special. We had the gyro with gravy and the Limnos grilled plate. The prices are way too high. We paid €45.80 for these two dishes, fries, tzatziki, and a bit of salad. Horrible!

The staff is very unfriendly. The food is okay but nothing special. The prices are completely overpriced. We've eaten at every restaurant on the promenade, but this is the most expensive and worst.

We ate there yesterday, and we've never had such a bad meal. Fries without salt, a tiny side salad that was probably three days old. My meat was overcooked, and my daughter's minced steaks weren't cooked well. Let's not even mention the Metaxa sauce. A small request for a change (with the minced steaks baked) couldn't be accommodated. The portion prices were far too high. We certainly won't be coming back, and we won't recommend it to anyone.

Simply terrible. You wait an hour for your food after explaining your problem, and you're treated like dirt. The food is lukewarm. It's better to eat somewhere else.

We specifically reserved a table for five people by the window two days in advance. We arrived at the agreed time on the day in question and were offered two separate tables in the aisle. This is completely unacceptable and has nothing to do with service. Any restaurant can do better. Therefore, I can't comment on the quality of the food.

My husband and I went to this restaurant the other day after 9 p.m. Although in many restaurants here in the city the kitchen closes at 9 p.m. and you will only be offered drinks, but here we were not refused and were fed deliciously. It was very tasty. I recommend it!

It used to be very good, but it's not anymore! Food has increased by 25.6 percent, portions are so small, less is impossible. Salad is old to the point of being sloppy and looks like it's been used. Dishes aren't really clean, one plate was even chipped. Truly a shame!

I rarely write reviews, but today I have to. We had dinner here today with two small children, aged 3 years and 11 weeks, and the two employees were so warm, friendly, and loving towards the children that it almost brought tears to my eyes. I've never experienced a restaurant where they took so much time for the children. The food was also incredibly delicious. The price/performance ratio was definitely right. The ambiance lives up to the name; you almost feel like you're in Greece. I can only recommend this restaurant and will definitely eat here again on my next vacation.

Who would have thought there could be a good Greek restaurant in the middle of a holiday complex? The portions were large, and the prices were reasonable. If you have children with you, a high chair is readily available. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The restrooms are small but clean. The atmosphere in the restaurant is also simply cozy. Before the meal, we were treated to a classic ice-cold ouzo on the house for all the adults. The salad tasted standard. The gyro with Metaxa sauce and the fried calamari were really good, and anyone who enjoys Greek food will definitely get their money's worth here. I can therefore highly recommend this place.

I'd really like to give it 6 stars. Everything is just right here. The service is incredibly friendly and accommodating to requests. The delivery time was extremely short (15 minutes for the food, bridged by the salad that arrived immediately after ordering). The food is top-notch. Really, really good tzatziki! We were given two ouzos at the beginning, and at the end we were asked if we wanted two more... So we wondered if the second ouzo would end up on the bill (the usual trick... whatever, I would have been fine with that). -> No, it actually wasn't! Not only that, we were given a small 0.3 liter Greek wine to take with us. I've never experienced anything like that before. !The place is great! I think it's a shame about the many 4/5 reviews here, which apparently had nothing to complain about... 4.2/5 obviously reads stupid on Google!

Ordered food to pick up. Everything was problem-free and ready to the minute. I would give 5 stars for that. However, the prices... Gyros and Bifteki gratinated 19.90 each. And the hit was the dolmadakia. 4 pieces for 10.90 euros. That was awesome. Even the tzatziki for just under 7 euros couldn't keep up. No, not again.

I have always loved this restaurant. But what happened? We had ordered a table for 5 people, we got one for 4 and a table for 2 with a walk-through. Ergo, a well-groomed conversation only involved talking loudly. Unfortunately there was no liver on the seasonal winter menu, which I personally find a shame (always very tasty) Unfortunately the prices don't match the food. I ordered 3 minced steaks with Metaxa sauce, I got 2. The food was only lukewarm, my small beer turned out to be a large beer. The taste was good. The missing minced steak was offered to me 15 minutes later when my cutlery had already been cleared away. Sorry, no one will see me there any time soon

Chic little restaurant with short waiting times, it was well attended (1-2 tables were still free) after 1 minute we had the card in our hands, after 5 minutes the salad plate was on the table and after 15 minutes the food was there 👍🏻 what There's nothing to complain about. Turkey with Metaxer sauce was super tasty, but the spagetti bolonaise didn't really convince us (it's a matter of taste) otherwise any time again👍🏻

We were in Mykonos for lunch today and ordered gyros with tzatziki and gyros gratinated with metaxa sauce. The gyro with tzatziki was pleasantly browned, as you would expect. In our opinion, the gratinated gyros had never been put on the gyros grill. The meat was completely pale and, above all, it contained a lot of cartilage and a lot of fat. The sauce was a watery affair and barely seasoned. The price was too high at 18.50 euros. Unfortunately we cannot recommend the restaurant.

This great Greek restaurant is just a stone's throw away from our holiday apartment. The staff were very friendly, even though we "only" ordered something to take away. The portions were very generous and the gyros and tzatziki were very tasty. Can really recommend. We'll definitely be back!
