The place is simply great. For us, visiting is a must on every vacation. The food is super tasty and the waitresses are very nice and accommodating. It's also nice for children. We can highly recommend the restaurant and hope that it stays as it is for a long time.

The food here is very tasty. The bread with garlic dip was particularly impressive. Ambience is "Greek Rustic" and clean. Only the prices are quite high, hence only four stars.

We eat out very often. We have never experienced such hectic service in any restaurant. Okay, the restaurant was really full, but do you have to rush through the restaurant the whole time? This doesn't really make the guests, who sometimes had to wait 30 minutes just to get the card, any more relaxed. Some guests also left who probably didn't want to wait that long. The food itself was really great, I had gyros and my wife Bifteki had chicken, and the decor was also good. We paid immediately after we finished eating. It's a shame that the waitress ruined our evening. What we didn't like at all was that guests with large dogs were allowed in. This really doesn't have to be the case, especially when the restaurant is so full.

The food today was a disaster, the taste wasn't really edible, and the way it was prepared wasn't very appetizing. I was actually looking forward to Ofredo, but we don't come here like that anymore

Indescribable, unfriendly service, even though the restaurant was poorly attended, you were assigned a cat table that only had space for a glass. When you asked if you could get a slightly larger table, you were told. With two people we wouldn't be enough for a larger table. I think at Orfeo Greco it is no longer necessary to be friendly and courteous with guests. It's the second time we've gotten such a small table. Everything was served at once so we had to put some of the food on the windowsill. Too bad!

The price-performance ratio for such a delicious meal was simply perfect. Can be highly recommended.

Can't understand the many good reviews. The food was Greek standard, quite salty, nothing special. The prices are very high. On average between €20 and €25 for a normal meal, which is around €5 more expensive than in Mykonos, for example. The waiting time was very long, around an hour for us. The staff was far too thinly staffed, annoyed and snotty. We didn't receive any cutlery when we asked and had to get it from the counter ourselves.

Wir sind absolute Fans von griechischem Essen und dementsprechend oft zu Gast in vielen griechischen Restaurants. Im direkten Vergleich trennt sich inzwischen allerdings die Spreu vom Weizen, was Qualität und Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis betrifft. Im Orfeo Greco stimmt das Ambiente, die freundliche Bedienung, die Qualität der Speisen und der Ouzo davor und danach. Was allerdings überhaupt nicht mehr passt in diesem Restaurant, sind die inzwischen völlig überteuerten Preise, insbesondere für die Getränke. Nach Corona sind die Preise zwar in allen Restaurants nach oben gegangen, aber im Orfeo Greco hat man das Maß des Vertretbaren deutlich überschritten. Für uns ganz eindeutig der Grund, das ansonsten sehr ansprechende Restaurant künftig zu meiden, denn es gibt zum Glück immer noch kostengünstigere Alternativen, die ähnliche Qualität zu akzeptableren Preisen bieten.

We got a table very quickly without a reservation. The staff was very friendly and the food was served quickly and warm. The ambience also looked very nice whether from inside or outside. However, the prices are still so limited that it is neither expensive nor cheap. Definitely worth a visit if you love Greek cuisine.

Unfortunately for us there is no star at all (but we had to give one)!!! Had a voucher that was issued on May 27th, 2022 - when I asked how long a voucher was valid, it said 3 years! But you didn't want to accept the voucher from 2022 and kept saying it had expired! No clarification was possible and so I canceled everything and left! Never again!!!!

Portions completely overpriced. Food is delivered to the table very quickly. The taste was very diminished. We always enjoyed eating there, but now we prefer to visit our colleague a few meters away near the old town.

We sat outside under a nice roof and felt very comfortable there. The food was plentiful, good and affordable. The service was nice and very friendly. My wife and I spent our wedding anniversary there. The restaurant is highly recommended.

The meal went like this, my gyro was already very cold and had somehow been cut off for a long time. Prices were already at the limit for a Greek. Ambience outside was nice.

The food was really top. But the service seemed a bit overwhelmed. There was no question as to whether we would like anything else to drink. After we asked for the bill we had to wait about 10-15 for it. The price is justified for the food.

1x is enough. Price/performance ratio doesn't fit. €6.20 for 0.5L beer is no longer justified! Gyros with onions €19.90 Good portion but meat very fatty and sometimes not cooked through. Poorly seasoned. Covered outdoor area OK, but fully booked to the last place. Very loud! Toilets in the basement seem very unkempt. Smells like urine when you go down the stairs.

Unfortunately, despite the nice weather, we weren't allowed to sit outside. Food was tasty and prepared quickly, but a bit expensive. The service was friendly and there was ouzo before and after the meal 😉

What should I capitalize? Our second visit here was a flop. The Orfeo is a tourist restaurant in a tourist town. This means it is impersonal and the service is quick at the table and quickly gone. The food is served on beautiful plates, but the quality is "normal" Greek. So no better or worse than anywhere else. In total we were served by 4 different, taciturn people. There was never a feel-good atmosphere. We also sat outside on the huge terrace, squeezed into a corner. In the end, you don’t want to sell any more drinks or desserts. The team spent most of their time at the counter, busy with themselves. You always wonder why a restaurant has so many good reviews when you have a completely different perspective. By the way, there was again a friendly greeting (only for regular guests) and there was no farewell either. That's a knockout anyway. for me. That shows you don't want me to come back. Conclusion: The first visit was ok, the second visit was unnecessary. No recommendation from us. Only the regular guest counts here, the rest are just there.

The ambience was great, and the service staff made an effort to keep everyone happy. That wasn't great, the fries were still partly raw, the gyros weren't that good, the bifteki was totally tasteless, not seasoned, and very salty from the shepherd's cheese inside. And we don't want to talk about the price, it's totally overpriced. We paid 84 euros for 2 people, each with 1 dish and a drink and 1 starter which we shared between the two of us. Overall, no, not again.

The food was very good, tasted delicious and was more than enough and the price was ok. The service left a lot to be desired on our day, our dessert was forgotten and when we wanted to pay no one came. The drinks are extremely expensive, which I think is a shame.

Restaurant has a nice location and an even better courtyard. Overall very clean and welcoming. We started with an appetizer. This tasted really good. The breaded feta is highly recommended. In the meantime, a large TV was switched on and some series on ARD and then football were loudly playing. In my opinion, I go to a Greek restaurant to eat and have conversations. However, the TV was just too loud and very disturbing while eating. Unfortunately, some of the staff cannot speak German, only broken English. After the starter, our table was full of empty dishes, but it took the waitress 10 minutes to clear them away. the staff preferred to chat and watch TV. There were a total of about 10 of us (5 tables) with the other guests. In any case, much more attention must be paid here. Main course: my wife had chicken gyros (very tasty). I had baked chicken fillet in metaxa sauce with fries and salad. Unfortunately I have to say it wasn't a good meal. The fries were soggy. The chicken was served very hot in a casserole dish (top). However, the metaxa sauce was unseasoned and only had a hint of cream taste. However, Metaxa sauce should contain a fruity note. Unfortunately the meat was too tough and overall not good. For a dish for which I pay around €22, I expect a top dish with good taste. However, unfortunately the opposite happened here. I didn't get a side salad with the main course. Overall, a below average visit and also the last one. In summary: the staff should be much more attentive, especially when there are very few guests there. Season dishes properly. Hire staff who can at least speak English. And please turn off that huge TV or, alternatively, have a campfire going. No one wants to watch football in the courtyard of a Greek restaurant, except when Germany is playing (here there were other teams) Starters are good. Unfortunately, the prices of the main courses do not correspond to the quality. In total we paid €75 including tip for a not so great evening. It's a shame actually

Unfortunately I hadn't read the reviews beforehand. But I also have to mention the Metaxa sauce. It was a cheap tomato sauce from a bag, "seasoned" with cilli or something similar and extended with a lot of water. I can only confirm: There is no trace of Metaxa anywhere! No! - With the best will in the world, that wasn't a (palate) delight! Something like that doesn't work in a restaurant at all!!! There wasn't even anything like a "regret" to be heard from the "service". What a pity! Never with us again!

Nice atmosphere, the food was good and plentiful. Unfortunately the service is not good at all. No attention, everything (from handing out the menus to ordering to paying) took a very long time. Drinks were empty for ages but no questions were asked, very unstructured. It's a shame actually. I'm often in Heiligenhafen but I won't be back any time soon.

The food was delicious. However, the service really left a lot to be desired. It all takes forever. It felt like an eternity passed before we were even able to order drinks. When the glasses were empty, no one asked if we wanted anything else! After we asked twice for the bill to come, another eternity passed... A pity! It's actually a really nice atmosphere, but a little more attention would have been really good

We had to wait 1 hour for our food and it even arrived cold. The alleged “rosemary potatoes” are simple potatoes. The rice is white rice with a minimal amount of peas and “carrots”. The calamari is hard and hard to bite, and there was strange lemon water with it. Unfortunately, we also caught a European Championship match day where the television was playing loudly, the noise was almost unbearable! Service staff is totally inattentive and unfriendly. They would rather sit around and watch the European Championship game than serve the guests. When we were asked whether we liked it, we answered honestly and the service staff obviously didn't care, they just reacted unfriendly. The price-performance ratio is absolutely not right! I would rather give no star at all instead of one!

Beforehand we had an ouzo on the house, followed quickly by our salad together with delicious garlic bread. The grill plates were very large, had a decent portion of tzatziki and tasted great. There were very few guests there with us. Unfortunately, we still had to wait a long time to order drinks because we weren't noticed due to the loud music and lack of attention. Only louder calls were responded to. Overall we were very satisfied.

We were there on June 5, 2024, the food was too salty (No. 83,69,102), chicken skewers were fried to death (hard as the sole of a shoe, bifteki inedible) We've gone out for Greek food several times but what Orfeo asks is a bad joke 😡

Was too excited but when the food was served the fries were cold meat could have been shortened. We waited about 45 minutes for the food, the service staff apparently didn't feel like it that day, orders weren't processed let alone served. Clearing away the teaching bottles and glasses left much to be desired.

The best Greek I know in the whole area. Absolutely recommended. But reserve beforehand. Top food, top prices, top service. Mega super delicious.

Recommended..... The two of us were just there and ordered gyros (67) and a mixed plate of gyros & suflaki (100). Despite the restaurant being full, very fast and friendly service... after ordering, some browned bread with a kind of cocktail sauce was immediately served... very tasty... and then the salad that accompanied the meal arrived in no time. This one is also deliciously prepared and tastes good. So basically no waiting time... because now the main course came. Very tasty and super soft, juicy gyros that melted in the mouth. Even though it was fried until crispy. Overall, a successful, very tasty meal for under €50. Just keep it up and we'll be happy to come back.

The food is delicious, first there is bread with dip and a nice salad. The meat is juicy and tender, all in all very tasty. The only thing that sometimes takes a little too long for us is pay, there is only one person who collects and if they are busy somewhere else you wait for what feels like forever.

Staff quite unfriendly. Allocation of tables, although hardly occupied in the interior, is not okay. Faint argument. Unfortunately, that's what happens when things go too well. Very unfortunate. By the way, we went back and went to the other Greek restaurant (5 stars).

Simply the best Greek we've ever been to! They put a lot of effort into everything: The interior is renovated and clean, the terrace is well planted with olive trees and fresh flowers. First of all there is homemade bread with dip, a varied salad and the main courses are plentiful and lovingly prepared. We've been to many Greek places and this one couldn't do anything better!

Das Personal war superfreundlich & die Küche trotz vollem Restaurant sehr schnell und lecker. Wir kommen gern wieder!
