Mega delicious sushi and great ambience! There is a very cool selection of sushi and other dishes and everyone enjoyed it very much. Had a reservation upstairs and it was nice and quiet. But generally great facility! The price is a bit higher but still okay for what you get. Definitely recommended!

Visited Goodci in Regensburg for a birthday treat from a friend, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! I had the chicken noodles with vegetables and a delicious sauce – it was simply magnificent. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the dish was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, making it the perfect spot for a special occasion. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great food and a pleasant dining experience!

Had food poisoning after a pasta dish

Fantastic food, beautiful restaurant, and incredible staff. My only complaint is that the hostess sat my date and I right next to another couple despite a fairly empty restaurant. My date and I loved our appetizers, sushi rolls, and cocktails. Everything was fresh and made fairly quickly. The most impressive part of the night was how intelligent and polite the service staff are. I unfortunately have not been successful at learning another language, and my date was a local. Our waiter was seamlessly switching between 3 languages while taking our orders and was incredibly polite and attentive the entire night. The entire date only cost around $60 for incredible service and food. Highly recommend.

First visit and I was impressed. I had rice noodles with grilled salmon and medium spicy sauce. It was an incredible volume of different spices and ingredients. Salmon was fantastic and it was bigger than it seems in the photo or I could have imagined. The interior is stunning and the atmosphere is very comfortable and warm. I was there with my son yesterday around 5:10 p.m. without a reservation, then the waiter (Vietnamese, about 165 cm tall and slightly overproportionately built) offered me a table until 6 p.m. Hello, how are you supposed to sit there for 50 minutes when the food takes about 30 minutes to process (speaking from experience)? I didn't want to take the table and asked him politely if I could wait for a free table. Then he said to me: "How can you want a table on Saturday evening without a reservation? If one becomes available, it will be filled straight away!" Hello, isn't he listening? I wanted to WAIT until one became available, but it looks like Goodci doesn't want to keep his regular guest despite the many competitors in Regensburg. Then he waves me aside to greet the guests at the back, who also don't have a reservation, without at least saying goodbye, which is part of a waiter's job! Yesterday it seemed to me like I had to beg for food from them. How ridiculous!

Modern and stylishly furnished, everything kept relatively dark, but for me very pleasant and appealing. The service is quick and hardly overwhelmed even when the house is full. I can only comment on the sushi and it is at the highest level. I haven't had a better meal in Regensburg yet. Great variations, everything tastes great and the quality is impeccable. Which has to be the case given the prices quoted! You should definitely make a reservation here and view the menu online in advance and check the prices. This saves frustration and unnecessary bad reviews because of the visually high prices.

Ambience was good. Staff was super annoying, we were 10 people and the waiter came every 5 minutes and wanted to get rid of us, just not pleasant. But eating was way too expensive. When we wanted to go to the toilet, the waiter thought we weren't guests even though he served us.

The food is amazing, the service is good but they got a bit aggressive as they brought the last drinks round and food with 3 minutes they asked us to pay because the table was already reserved to a different group. They could not handle this situation in a peaceful way.

Nice ambience, food and service "needs improvement": soup tasted ok (lukewarm), chicken teriaki was cold. Complaints can then be returned as “mush” from the microwave. Complained again, then received a completely new dish, cold again. No wonder, the plates are "ice cold", which is not possible in "upscale" restaurants. Basic rule of cuisine: It is served on warm plates! In terms of taste, I ate the dish significantly/significantly better the day before for €8.50 at an Asian fast food joint (I was interested in the comparison), so here it is for three times the price in this quality... no way! Service: Left appetizer dishes on the table, never refilled bottled wine, brought soy bowls for sushi 10 minutes after serving, etc. It's a shame, there would have been more... But: The music was really great ;-)

The best sushi in town! The quality of the fish is excellent – ​​fresh and tender, and the selection is huge. Unfortunately we didn't have the opportunity to try the food as we left the restaurant early due to the very unfriendly treatment. When we arrived without a reservation, we were assigned a table (on the left when you come in) that was a little out of the way - which suited us well with three adults and two children. Next to the table there was also space for the strollers, which we parked on a pillar after consulting the staff. Unfortunately it turned out that the table was unsuitable for more than four people due to a step. Simply turning the table 90 degrees would have solved the problem, but we were strictly refused to do that. Despite repeated requests and assurances that we would put the table back after dinner, the only answer was that the boss did not allow this. Instead, we were suggested to have one of the children sit on the raised step - which of course was completely impractical and unsafe. After several employees intervened in the exchange one after the other and unnecessarily complicated the situation, a friendly colleague finally came who found it completely unproblematic to turn the table. However, just as we finally sat down, another employee (possibly the boss?) came up to us with an extremely unfriendly tone and complained about the position of our strollers. This disrespectful attitude was the straw that broke the camel's back and we decided to leave the restaurant. It leaves the impression that families with children are not welcome here or that there is a lack of interest in customer-friendly behavior. We will avoid this restaurant in the future.

Super delicious Asian food, both warm cuisine and sushi, very tasty, refined and quick. Large portions, friendly service. Great decor, very elegant. You feel comfortable, recommended in Regensburg's pedestrian zone!

As a starter there was the summer rolls with grilled chicken breast. The summer rolls were light and refreshing, filled with crisp lettuce and mint, perfectly wrapped in rice paper. The accompanying homemade soy shallot dip was a wonderful addition that gave the dish a spicy touch. The main course, the Bun Twentynine Style with crispy duck breast, impressed with perfectly crispy duck, lukewarm rice noodles in a tasty soy-shallot sauce and a fresh wild herb salad with a hint of spiciness from the chili-ginger-lime vinaigrette. Peanuts, sesame and coriander salsa rounded out the dish. Both dishes harmonized perfectly and offered a successful combination of freshness, spice and texture.

I found a lovely Asian restaurant near the train station. I wasn’t in the mood for fast food, so I searched for a nearby spot that offered quality dishes. This restaurant had great reviews, and rightly so. The sushi was incredibly fresh and delicious, and the miso soup was excellent. Although the lunch menu had limited options, everything was packed with flavor. The service was quick and efficient, and the place was very clean. The interior also had a contemporary design with subtle Far Eastern accents. Overall, if you're in the area, I highly recommend giving it a try.

We really enjoyed our lunch this afternoon. Maki and nigiri with a very high fish content and very fresh. Miso soup is also very nice. Price-wise, more than okay. Friendly children's corner for small children on the first floor. Pleasant atmosphere.

Given the high prices, my expectations weren't low, but they were completely met. The ambience, the service and the food are great. The entrecôte with my pasta was great in combination with the herb butter, as was the pasta itself. I haven't tried sushi here yet, but I'll definitely be back :)

The food is really great and great quality, but everything around it is unfortunately very disappointing. The place is extremely loud because of the music. My husband and I ordered our main courses and also said that I have an extreme allergy to peanuts and that everything had to be without peanuts. At first his food was completely forgotten and we had to ask what was going on after I was almost finished. Then his food came with peanuts, even though we specifically said no peanuts. Luckily he noticed before I tried anything, but the staff needs to be a little more attentive when it comes to allergies because it can be very dangerous. It's a shame - but we will never go there again because it is too dangerous.

Food was okay, but not for the price. The fried sushi tastes just like it does at home and I've only made it once so far, so I expect it to taste better.

If 3 people order, they also want to eat together. After 20 minutes my guests were almost ready and I had to remind the staff to bring my food. The waitress apologized and offered a complementary dessert (we were too full and decided not to). Important: the food is great. The same problem when paying: it comes straight away. After about 30 minutes still nothing. That was enough for me!! Even a polite apology doesn't help if the evening ends with high blood pressure!! There is enough staff, just not the focus!

Good location, nice ambience, very nice staff and the most important thing - very good food 😋 Especially the "creamy" coconut soups are actually "creamy". I would recommend the "large" version - it's really worth it! The main courses are of course also of the same standard. Gladly again!

Very nice restaurant, inexpensive

The food, especially the sushi, was really great and the service was super friendly and quick. However, it was a bit difficult to sit down, even for slimmer people, as the seating was not that easy to move and there was generally little space at the next table. Another point was the barking dog in the restaurant right next to where we were sitting, which spoiled our experience a bit. Nevertheless, we were able to end our visit overall on a positive note.

Have been there several times. Sushi/Sashimi are very good (as long as you don't compare with Aska). It is served very appetizing. Service last week, however, was below average, unfortunately.

The ambiance and service at this pho restaurant were really good, and I was looking forward to finally enjoying a good portion of pho after hearing so many good things about it. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed. For the price, I've never eaten such bad pho. It seemed like all the ingredients were just thrown into a pot and then served, without any flavor. There was a complete lack of spices and no taste sensation whatsoever. Although it was stated that it should be spicy, there was no spiciness at all. I was really disappointed with the food. Despite the good service and ambience, I definitely can't recommend the pho and would even give the food zero stars if I could.

I've been to Good Ci several times with various friends and we all loved it. The atmosphere is very modern and stylishly inviting. The sushi as well as the starters and warm dishes are first class, both in quality and presentation. For some the prices are expensive, but considering the performance they are completely justified.

I've probably been there 10-15 times since GOOD Ci opened. The food and ambience are still great. What I have unfortunately noticed is that the service has really deteriorated. I don't know what the reason is, whether the employees have to work too much or simply because they noticed that a lot of people love their food and that's what happens, the friendliness of some employees has decreased significantly.

We were guests on a Sunday evening. Reservations were made online without any problem. After arriving we were assigned to our table straight away, but it took about 15 minutes until a service person appeared at the table and took the order. The request for a glass of Chardonney could not be fulfilled because it was only available as a whole bottle. The Pinot Grigio and the non-alcoholic mixed drink we ordered were good so far. For dinner we ordered a starter plate for two people - it was okay, but by no means anything special. Also a rice noodle dish - same conclusion as the starter plate. Also maki and tempura sushi. The maki sushi fell apart at the slightest touch, the tempura sushi was definitely fried for too long, it was way too hard and the salmon was already cooked through. I pointed this out to a service person, but was only told that unfortunately there was nothing that could be done now. Service only came when the order was taken and after notification of the defect and payment. The prices are simply too high for the service offered and the quality of the food. We won't come back again.

Offers great food and ambience, but the last star needs to be gained by improving the following points: 1. Service needs to improve considerably. The sitting space next to the wall is too cramped up, often taking away a little bit of privacy needed while dining in 3. For non-alcoholic regulars in an Asian restaurant, they do not have any sugar-free offerings, which is surprising these days 4. Nothing exceptional / extraordinary, and therefore questioning the pricing policy. If you can break a small bank and want to have a good ambience dining with appreciable food, GoodCi is a must try, in the heart of Regensburg.

I was there with friends on two evenings last week. Food: 4 stars (more fusion cuisine than really authentic Asian) Service: 3 stars. There was an incident on the first evening. I asked a waiter if he could bring me napkins. He brought me paper towels. I really wondered what he had in mind that left a restaurant guest with paper towels on the table?! If I said again that I needed napkins, he brought me menu cards. Then I had to point to the napkins again and said I needed napkins. For the 2nd time I finally got the napkins. On the 2nd evening my friend asked him if there was chili paste. The same waiter really thought long and hard in his head, he probably didn't understand the question or he didn't know what chili paste was. Luckily my friend got the chili paste and didn't have to ask 3 times like I did. Ambience: 4 stars. One star deducted here because an opened plate was served for dessert - three mochie ice creams. I noticed that in many Asian restaurants the opened dishes are not sorted out and continue to be served to the guests, which is an absolute no go for me. I pay for service in restaurants, so please serve me intact dishes.

Das Sushi war ein Traum. Sehr lecker. Service war gut und sehr engagiert.war zwar sehr viel los haben aber noch sehr kurzfristig einen Platz bekommen. Gerne wieder!

Last week on Sunday there were three of us in Good Ci, after we placed our order it took forever to get our food. I would also like to mention that there were not countless customers in the restaurant with us at that time, just normal business. Had three main courses, edamame, various drinks and some sushi. The main courses were already “lukewarm”, some of the vegetables were cold and, in our opinion, came with too little sauce. We complained to the waiter and he said he would bring us another bowl of sauce (including an additional charge). Some of the sushi were also super dry. We reported twice during our stay that we weren't satisfied, but unfortunately no attention was paid to it. Unsatisfied, we had almost entire portions returned and asked for the bill... €192 for 3 people and then not even a response. It's a shame because we're originally from Ingolstadt.

Ultimately we were absolutely satisfied. Mango Coco Lassi drank, Chicken Skewers starter, then Cococream with tuna and Cold Breeze Sushi Mix. Everything is lovingly served and tastes excellent. The service was extremely friendly and quick.

An Asian who stands out from the rest. Food, ambience and service very good. It can sometimes cost a little more. The absolute highlight for me was the sesame ice cream.

The food is delicious and the play area for children is also very nice and makes the restaurant something special, as you won't find much in this regard in Regensburg. When it comes to service, it makes a difference who serves you. There are more and less committed employees, which also determines the implementation of wishes.

One point that really bothered me, which is why I'm writing this review and it's only 4/5 stars, is the fact that tipping is not possible when paying by card. In fact, I am very sad to have to give this review. We've been 4 or 5 times and every time it's been a pleasure. That's exactly what we thought we arrived on February 27th. again. Service was ok and the food tasted as always. We each ate an appetizer and then sushi together. It would be wrong to claim that we were actively aware of something during the meal, but just a few minutes after leaving the restaurant my friend complained of a stomach ache. Until then everything is fine for me. A few hours later, her stomach ache gave rise to real stomach cramps and from then on I felt like everything had to go away again. The next day there was no change in me and so she went to the doctor. He then expresses the suspicion of food poisoning. Of course no one can say with 100% certainty, but it's likely if I look at how I feel the two days later. It's just a real shame to have this negative experience here, because as many have mentioned, after Aska, the shop simply has the best quality of fish. I don't know if I can or want to give the restaurant another chance after 3 days of intense vomiting. My trust is destroyed and to be honest I'm crying after the €100 we left with you. Pearls in front of the pig would have been even better...

The sushi was excellent! Unfortunately, right at the beginning, the waitress poured a glass of white wine down my pants. Unpleasant, but that can happen. But in a restaurant with this standard, such a mishap should be dealt with professionally. Ie. Offering to cover the costs of the cleaning goes without saying. Furthermore, a small apology in some form would have been appropriate. After I explicitly mentioned this again when paying, a glass of wine was ultimately not charged. Likewise, an email with the same content as described here remains unanswered.

I had an incredibly good curry, everything was beautifully presented and the dishes and cutlery were an eye-catcher. The sushi arrangements look incredibly impressive when they leave the kitchen on long plates and my companion just raved about the taste of the sushi. Not cheap but definitely worth a visit!

This is probably one of the best diners in Germany. Great atmosphere, good service and impressively good food. Their sushi selection is exquisite, but anything at this place is top quality. Honestly, if you are in Regensburg, this is a very special place for dinner
