BEST sushi in Regensburg! I definitely eat here at least once a month. The food is amazing; the sushi looks and tastes amazing. The service is super fast and friendly, and they handle any special requests with ease. A definite 11/10

We came here spontaneously for dinner on a Saturday afternoon and got a table without a reservation. We ordered mixed starters for two, coconut curry with chicken and mixed sashimi, along with drinks. Overall, everything tasted pretty good; the curry was a bit too runny, and the sashimi was more for those with a light appetite, but otherwise, it was okay. The service was nice, too. The only annoying thing was that the table was screwed to the floor, and you always had to squeeze around to sit down and get up if you were sitting near the wall. What's the point? The price was okay. You can do it.

We are very satisfied! The food is delicious. When we got drunk, we stayed in the restaurant and no one kicked us out. That's why you always get the best service in Germany! And the music is beautiful :)

A truly outstanding meal. The kitchen is open, so you can watch the sushi being expertly prepared, with attention to the smallest details—simply fantastic. The service was very friendly. The only thing I found annoying was the narrow tables; you could hear every word your neighbors were saying.

We had dinner at Good Ci and were very satisfied. Good Ci offers the currently very popular Asian fusion cuisine with Vietnamese soup, Chinese appetizers, and Japanese sushi. The food came quickly and tasted excellent. The service was friendly. Only the overly loud music deprived the ambiance of a star. An all-around positive experience. We'll be back.

Sushi is always made with fresh fish. Is it always full? Pretty loud music. Tables are wiped with dirty rags.

A beautiful place with extraordinary atmosphere and the most delicious sushi i've ever tried!! The service was absolutely perfect, waitress spoke English fluently, she was extremely nice and we didn't have to wait so long for the food. Definitely a recommendation. I've eaten sushi many times, but I was pleasantly surprised here. I didn't know what to expect, as the reviews are quite mixed. But overall, I can say that this was the most delicious sushi I've ever eaten. This is due to the excellent fish and the fish-to-rice ratio, and the fact that everything was a bit different than usual. We had a bit of everything, so we had a pretty good overview. I particularly enjoyed the tuna. I'll definitely be back here soon, even if there are cheaper places; quality has its price.

For the price, I actually expect better quality. The food isn't good value for money, and the service is also very poor. Wait time for ordering: 15 minutes, for the starter: 20 minutes, and for the main course: 20-30 minutes (arrived at different times). Unfortunately, I can't recommend it at this time!

I went to Good Ci with a friend and we had an outside table. Due to bus and truck traffic, it was a bit noisy at times, but that's not the restaurant's fault. The food was very tasty, although it loses one star because the prices are a bit high and the portions are a bit small. Overall, it was very tasty. The only criticism I have is that, as a vegan, it was a bit difficult for me to tell from the menu whether a dish was vegetarian or vegan, as the menus were labeled with just one leaf, which was used for both vegan and vegetarian dishes. Overall, it's a very solid restaurant that I'd happily return to again if I had the chance.

Excellent sushi. The ingredients are incredibly fresh and balanced. It tastes more pleasant and is by far the best sushi place, although it's in the higher price range.

I think these were the best filled nori sheets I've ever had. Not a lot of rice, as is often the case, but a lot of fish. Incredibly delicious and highly recommended.

First. Let me say, many of the reviews are a little misleading. I've visited this restaurant almost monthly for 2 years. The food, ambience, and atmosphere was great, so I invited friends to come. Today, after being away for almost a year, I visited. Again, I had the same feelings as before. It is great here. They try to accommodate (i didn't make reservations) everyone and provide good service. I ordered two Japanese Collection and the Crispy Tiger roll. It was amazing. I recommend giving this restaurant a try. Thank you Good Ci for a pleasant visit. If you want other recommendations. VyVu Vietnam Asia Cuisine is another place to visit. Their Mai Tai is amazingly strong. Haha.

Wir haben einen Tag vorher einen Tisch für sieben Personen reserviert. Schon am Telefon war das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und konnte die Reservierung problemlos ermöglichen. Beim Betreten des Restaurants wurden wir freundlich von einem Mitarbeiter empfangen, der uns zu unserem Tisch führte. Das Essen kam schneller als erwartet, war sehr lecker und alles war sauber und ordentlich. Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant war angenehm ruhig, was den Aufenthalt besonders schön machte. Wir saßen im ersten Stock direkt am Fenster – das war toll, mit Ausblick während des Essens. Ich kann das Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen!

Good food, a quiet atmosphere, and clean restrooms. The only criticism: you're asked to leave promptly, even though there were still tables available and they stayed. We would have liked dessert and maybe more drinks. The bar, however, was nicely decorated and very comfortable. Therefore, the service still gets four stars.

The food is simply amazing. An explosion of flavors. I highly recommend the appetizer for two and anything involving air-dropped mango.

I love Asian cuisine. I've been to Thailand, Vietnam, and Cambodia several times, and I've often eaten in various Asian restaurants in Germany, but what I ate here at Good Ci in Regensburg surpasses everything I've ever eaten before. Unfortunately, the waitress on the second floor was in a pretty bad mood, which made the whole atmosphere unpleasant. When we asked for a bill, they initially forgot about it, and when we politely pointed it out again, the waitress contradicted us in a rude tone and even denied it. Overall, unfortunately a disappointing experience.

The employees were really unfriendly and you had the feeling of not being welcome. Food was okay, only the raw salmon had a very strange consistency that didn't seem normal. wouldn't come again.

Four of us were there yesterday, on Valentine's Day. It was busy, good thing we had reservations! The Good Ci Sensation was a drink with anise and lychee flavors - very interesting! For dinner we ordered crispy octopus with a slightly spicy sauce and various sushi because we couldn't decide. The eye is definitely eating here! You can also taste the freshness of the ingredients with every bite! 🤤 That's why the price is higher! But it was worth it for us because the service was also impeccable!

We used to eat sushi regularly in Hawaii, GoodCi is the best place in comparison and we eat here quite frequently now. The amount of food for the price is definitely worth it. We get the crispy tiger, and the fried salmon roll.

There was almost nothing in the soup, "plates" so narrow that everything fell down, unprofessional staff. It's a shame because the sushi 🍣 itself was very good.

Recently opened in the city. Very modern and with the kitchen open after hours (very practical in Germany). The combos are very well priced.

The three of us had reserved a table which became available earlier, which made us very happy. As soon as we sat there the menu was brought to us and after a short time (5 minutes) we were asked for drinks. These were brought to us after about 10 minutes and were very tasty and fresh. The starter didn't take long from ordering to serving and was very tasty and fresh. Our main course, on the other hand, took a while to arrive, but I suspect that was because we each ordered different sushi (it was bearable). And that was again very tasty and beautifully presented. The dessert also surprised us very much and was very tasty and all in all it was a successful evening with a nice ambience which at first appears gloomy but once you are in the shop it offers a friendly and beautiful atmosphere. We will definitely go there more often and be enchanted there again and again.

!!!worst customer service!!! READ this review. I went to the restaurant in person and reserved a table by the window for 7:00 p.m. A WEEK before I wanted to go out to eat. The reservation was made and I thought everything would be great. I just got a call from what was probably the “boss” of the store saying I couldn’t come at 7 p.m., he could offer me 6:30 or 7:30 p.m. A window seat would also not be possible at all. I'm also only allowed to stay in the restaurant for 1.5 hours. I then said that I was canceling the reservation. Why are all the window seats already taken even though I reserved in advance? I assume you give the window seats to acquaintances and you can only get a window seat through Connection. Also, you should understand that the customer is king and come at a time that suits me and not you. I also can't understand why I should leave again after 1.5 hours. To me it feels like you are putting time pressure on your guests and want to generate as much sales as possible. I now recommend everyone in my circle of friends to avoid you because the customer is NOT king with you and hope that this review will warn other guests about your lousy hospitality! There are no slots at other local ones either. It's better to think less about sales, dear boss, and dealing with customers!!! You don't see me anymore!!

We reserved in advance as a group. The reservation by telephone was uncomplicated and very nice. Our dining area was specially decorated. The service was excellent. We were asked again and again whether we were satisfied and whether we would like anything else. Had food poisoning after a pasta dish

Fantastic food, beautiful restaurant, and incredible staff. My only complaint is that the hostess sat my date and I right next to another couple despite a fairly empty restaurant. My date and I loved our appetizers, sushi rolls, and cocktails. Everything was fresh and made fairly quickly. The most impressive part of the night was how intelligent and polite the service staff are. I unfortunately have not been successful at learning another language, and my date was a local. Our waiter was seamlessly switching between 3 languages while taking our orders and was incredibly polite and attentive the entire night. The entire date only cost around $60 for incredible service and food. Highly recommend.

First visit and I was impressed. I had rice noodles with grilled salmon and medium spicy sauce. It was an incredible volume of different spices and ingredients. Salmon was fantastic and it was bigger than it seems in the photo or I could have imagined. The interior is stunning and the atmosphere is very comfortable and warm. I was there with my son yesterday around 5:10 p.m. without a reservation, then the waiter (Vietnamese, about 165 cm tall and slightly overproportionately built) offered me a table until 6 p.m. Hello, how are you supposed to sit there for 50 minutes when the food takes about 30 minutes to process (speaking from experience)? I didn't want to take the table and asked him politely if I could wait for a free table. Then he said to me: "How can you want a table on Saturday evening without a reservation? If one becomes available, it will be filled straight away!" Hello, isn't he listening? I wanted to WAIT until one became available, but it looks like Goodci doesn't want to keep his regular guest despite the many competitors in Regensburg. Then he waves me aside to greet the guests at the back, who also don't have a reservation, without at least saying goodbye, which is part of a waiter's job! Yesterday it seemed to me like I had to beg for food from them. How ridiculous!

Modern and stylishly furnished, everything kept relatively dark, but for me very pleasant and appealing. The service is quick and hardly overwhelmed even when the house is full. I can only comment on the sushi and it is at the highest level. I haven't had a better meal in Regensburg yet. Great variations, everything tastes great and the quality is impeccable. Which has to be the case given the prices quoted! You should definitely make a reservation here and view the menu online in advance and check the prices. This saves frustration and unnecessary bad reviews because of the visually high prices.
