Great market with lots of offers… charging an electric car, shopping and eating… absolutely fantastic!

The food has gotten worse, it's a real shame.

This supermarket is very expensive; some items cost twice as much as in other supermarkets for no reason. The staff is rude and very angry. I do not recommend this supermarket.

I work in Eschborn, so I shop at Globus very often. I especially like the pastry section and the fruit and vegetable section. The parking lot is also plenty big. However, about 20% of the time so far, I've received poor service at the checkout. I think it's necessary to increase employee training.

The best Globus! I love coming here – the selection is incredibly diverse. It would be great if they also had the sparkling water cake like in Erfurt, but otherwise everything is just perfect. The staff are very helpful and friendly, and shopping here is simply a real pleasure.

Basically, it's a market that has everything. Because of its size and wide selection, it can sometimes take a very long time to find the product you're looking for. The baked goods are made in an open bakery right in front of customers. The results aren't always good. For example, we find the rolls doughy and the cakes sometimes barely successful. But that's a matter of taste. The special offers are sometimes decent, but the store's own brand products are mostly in the lower quality segment, so not really recommended. What's somewhat annoying is how they handle Payback points and the related coupons. Today, I would have received 10x points for a purchase of €80 or more. My spending at the beverage store was €49, and at the supermarket, €69. Although I clearly exceeded the €80 spending threshold today, I only received single points because the beverage store has its own checkout lanes. That's not very customer-friendly! After all, I did spend enough to earn the bonus points. On a positive note, there are often offers available in the market that were not advertised in the brochure. Today, for example, this included Coke.

This is a huge supermarket with all kinds of products, and a look here shows that not all prices in Europe are that high.

A very well-stocked market. The bread and sausage selection has improved significantly, even though it was quite early. Unfortunately, there's a long wait at the deli counter due to staff shortages. One sales assistant is simply not enough. Today, there were eleven customers ahead of me. There was only one sales assistant at the meat counter as well. Just before it was my turn, the department manager joined the sales team. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and they're always willing to lend a hand.

A good choice of meat, tomatoes (for me it is a great problem to find tasty tomatoes in Germany), fish, fruit and so on! I love to come here on Tuesdays ,when there are not so many people and I can easily choose what I need.

It's great, they really have huge selection. You'll find everything in there, also plenty of international food. Kind of like a giant version of Rewe. They have very good quality food but it's not cheap obviously, although I would say it's fair. I come here before cooking for special occasions.

A very large selection. If you can't find what you're looking for, you can ask an employee immediately and they'll help you. I'm extremely satisfied, and the price/performance ratio is a 7 out of 8.

Parking is excellent. It's not too crowded either. What's annoying is that if you come on a Saturday, many of the items in the current brochure are sold out. Now that the market has been open for some time, efforts to present the goods well are slacking. These photos were all taken on August 26, 2023. Without even looking, you notice items that are days out of date. Cookies that got too warm and melted together, lots of empty boxes. If you pass the same places in the market several times in a week, nothing has changed. To me, that means there are few or no control mechanisms. The two deposit machines after the entrance from the parking garage are also annoying. There are often error messages, long lines, and there are simply too few of them. It takes too long for someone to come when there's a problem. You could also buy newspapers and magazines in the market. One day, that option disappeared. When asked why, the answer was that the tenant of the lottery ticket office, who also sells newspapers, had complained. You also have a tenant who sells antipasti. Is that why you're banning pickled olives or cherry tomatoes from your range? Not yet, fortunately. Some brands and items that are still readily available in other markets have disappeared from the shelves. So it can't be due to supply shortages. What's also a shame is that the bakery only packs large quantities in one bag. Not everyone needs 10 rolls. Small quantities are almost impossible to get. There's more to report, but that's enough for now. You have a lot of potential for improvement. Despite the size of the market, we still can't find everything we need. A small start would be made if at least the shelves looked well-maintained and expired items were sorted out. Unfortunately, not every review is published, for some unknown reason. Google doesn't say what's wrong with my above review. The last two pictures were taken on October 18, 2025, but unfortunately only show a small part of the situation at Globus Eschborn. Bread that's expired, but new items of the same type are still being added. Last week, Eszet slices were on sale. Many were also expired. We don't think Globus has been presenting a good image in recent weeks. There were notices on many shelves indicating that there were problems due to supply bottlenecks. It's just strange that other stores like Rewe, Lidl, Netto, and others had everything. It's also a shame that the offers from the Friday and Saturday flyers are no longer available. Regarding your restaurant, we used to enjoy eating there. The portions are also quite large, but the way individual items are slapped onto the plate ends up looking unappetizing. It just doesn't look tasty. You sometimes get a "rolling" eye when you want to swap one side dish for another. "That doesn't fit at all." Prices have also risen, making it increasingly attractive to go to a neighboring furniture store. The food is better presented, it's also reasonably priced, you get friendly service, and a comfortable seat is also an option. My tip: smaller portions, better presentation, and training the employees to deal with customers better.

Globus Eschborn is one of the best places for grocery shopping! The vegetables are always fresh and well-stocked, and the bread section is excellent — you can really taste the quality and freshness. The overall grocery selection is impressive, with good-quality products and plenty of variety. Everything is clean, well-organized, and easy to find. A great place for anyone who values fresh and high-quality food!

Very good selection of fruit, vegetables, cheese, and sausages. There's also a large selection of other items. The market is clean and mostly tidy. I find self-scanning checkouts useful when things need to be done quickly with fewer products. The only thing that always disappoints me is the selection of dog food! I always have to get it elsewhere.

Hello. Very nice and practical store. Large selection of products. High-quality, fresh products, reasonable prices. On Saturday, October 11th, I had my ID card checked at the Globus supermarket at Ginnheimer Straße 18 in Eschborn, near the checkout and the rotisserie chicken section.

The meat and sausages are very good, and much of them are produced in-house. Fruit and vegetables are rather mediocre. A good and extensive selection of cheese and refrigerated goods is available. Other items, such as household goods, are also available. The parking garage is large and free of charge, with 10 fast-food stations for Tesla and 15 for other brands.

A great supermarket with a huge sales area. A very large section is also dedicated to non-food items. But there's also a very large selection of eggs, vegetables, and other groceries. I really liked the very wide aisles, something you rarely see in supermarkets and discount stores. There are many food stands after the checkouts. There's also plenty of free parking on site.

The Globus in Eschborn is definitely my favorite market. I can get absolutely everything there. Unfortunately, I have to criticize the breakfast buffet. We are a group of seven retired women and enjoyed meeting there. Afterwards, we did our weekly shopping. Unfortunately, the offerings are no longer acceptable. On Fridays, there are no more scrambled or fried eggs, and the buffet has become increasingly "unloving." No one could understand the calculation at the checkout anymore. We have therefore decided to hold our meetings elsewhere. It would be nice if you would reconsider your breakfast offerings. We would be delighted to meet with you again. Very nice market, despite the bakery, which unfortunately doesn't offer small batches of bread rolls, it's 5 stars. The fish department is very good in both quality and variety. The employees are very helpful. The selection in the other departments is consistently good. There was always a short wait at the checkouts.

This is the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced at a supermarket. Honestly, I recommend avoiding the pizza counter when this person is working.

Took the incredibly long bus 252 from Oberursel through Stierstadt, Weisskirchen, Steinbach, and Nieder Höchstadt to Ginnheimerstraße, and got off right at the huge Globus supermarket. Incredibly large and practically everything was available. Nice restaurant with reasonable prices. Clean restrooms, and even free. I don't carry any cash anymore, so it's annoying when I get stressed over 50 cents.

We used the ordering service for a birthday party with almost 50 guests and were largely disappointed. The order we placed at the butcher's grill was ready for pickup at the agreed time, and the service from the staff there was excellent. What was not ready for pickup at all, however, were the antipasti and cheese platters and pastries we ordered online (email confirmation of the orders is available). These were simply not processed, and the staff became even more rude to my wife and daughter when they realized this during an attempted pickup. When I returned the warming box, I mentioned the mistake and was given a business card and asked to pass it on in writing to the management assistant on it. However, there was no response afterward. After consulting the information desk, I was advised by phone to inform the HR manager instead. Unfortunately, there was no response to the email forwarding :-(. Well, perhaps the store management should consider whether the offers even fit the concept and whether, in addition to the actual failure as a service provider, the customer loyalty skills of the aforementioned employees should also be put to the test. Because ducking into the face of a shaming customer when criticism is justified and politely presented due to a less than pleasant customer experience two hours before a birthday party doesn't inspire much confidence :-(...

It's a big store that has everything you could need, and the self-scanning machines are great. The self-checkout counters are also really good. You just walk in and walk out after an hour or half with what you need. I definitely recommend the store because it has plenty of parking spaces.

Parking spaces on the ground floor are very easy to access and clearly visible thanks to red/green lighting. The beverage store and pickup station are directly accessible from the parking lot. Electric charging stations are available. The modern interior and wide aisles between the shelves are a positive feature. The pleasant lighting and diverse fresh food counters are very appealing. A friend took me here to buy souvenirs to take back to Japan. The store is very spacious, like a large suburban store. They have all kinds of food and wine. I went to buy wine and sweets. The wines are separated into shelves by region, and range from inexpensive to expensive. They have white, red, and even ice wine, making them perfect souvenirs. They also have a wide variety of sweets, so I bought a few that my friend told me were delicious and some that caught my eye. In the end, I bought nine bottles of wine, two bottles of ice wine, four 500ml bottles of beer, two bottles of non-alcoholic wine, and a variety of sweets, for a total of 94.45 euros (about 16,000 yen). It was heavy, but everyone was happy.

I recommend hairdresser Justyna. She's a master of her craft; there's no better one within a 100-kilometer radius. And maybe even further.

Everything is there and well sorted

The liquor store is a disaster. You have to go to three or four different vending machines every time to get rid of all your empty bottles. Then the machines keep stopping and refusing to accept them. If you tell the cashier or call them, you just stand there for 10 to 15 minutes until someone comes and resets the machine. Then the blonde young lady at the cash register tells you not to make such a fuss!!! That's it for Globus.

In contrast to other markets, it's not really on the same level. This is especially noticeable at the hot counter, where they use a tape measure. At the entrance, the highlight is salads that were sometimes three or four days out of date. Other Globus markets are more professional in this regard.
