The man who was at checkout 1 on April 15, 2026, around 6 p.m., should be fired; he was practically bursting with energy. But the best part, which we unfortunately only noticed at home, is that he charged us for 55 bags of bread rolls at €1.85 each, even though we only bought one. I have to admit, I was at fault for not checking the receipt right there in the store. We were only surprised by the total of €270. At home, we then discovered that we had over €100 worth of bread rolls listed on it. So we went back and complained, and were promptly refunded – the only good thing about it. This whole ordeal cost us a good two hours and about €35 in diesel. I had at least expected a voucher for a coffee or something from Globus. The next problem: they wanted four meatloaf rolls. They still had the meatloaf, but they were out of rolls. It can't be that they're out of rolls in stock, even if they're just the kind you bake yourself in the oven. There's definitely room for improvement here.

Very nice store with a wide selection

The Globus store in Eschborn is really cool; they offer a huge variety of things. In some cities it's just a hardware store, but here they have everything from A to Z.

What a huge supermarket! Worth a visit. They have the most Teekanne tea bags I've ever seen. A great place to buy souvenirs while passing by.

It's just "WOW!" Everything your heart desires can be found here. Choice, price, quality. Everything is top notch.

One of my most frequent supermarkets. This branch is in my neighborhood, the newest Globus. Visually very appealing, but perhaps a bit too large. Unfortunately, it can't quite compete with the stores in Hattersheim.

A very large selection and everything is always fresh. No long waiting times at the checkout. Helpful staff, even now before Easter, although some customers are stressed. :-)

Hello, we were at your restaurant this morning around 9 a.m. My husband wanted fried eggs with bacon, but was told you didn't have any bacon. Okay, so he ate his eggs without bacon. Commercially, 2-5 minutes later, your maintenance man walked past our table and made his own breakfast, and he had fried eggs with bacon. Are customers treated differently, or does your maintenance man take priority over customers? If you don't value your customers, we will shop at Alnatura instead.

I went shopping there as usual on Saturday, but the restaurant has really gone downhill. I had meatloaf with a fried egg and mashed potatoes. Good choice, I thought 👌. The fried egg was old, the sauce was from a packet and oversalted, and the mashed potatoes were from yesterday. What a shame... I hope it goes back to how it used to be 🙏

The beautiful terrace is being ruthlessly exploited by nicotine addicts who have absolutely no consideration for others… Even a cleaner from Globus smokes there for hours… I wanted to eat there in peace – impossible with that stinking smoke!!!

Go there once and get absolutely everything, even things I can usually only order online.

You buy what you wanted and then some, because you're always rearranging things, so you end up with more in your car than you intended, and you also get quite active – it's almost like an involuntary treasure hunt.

A supermarket of superlatives. And all sorts of shops next door and all around. Gas station, repair shop, pharmacies, drugstores, shoe stores, discount stores. All that's missing is a football pitch.

It has everything you need... Great selection

A nice, large mall with various shops, restaurants, and a grocery store. At the meat stand, you can get delicious Leberkäse rolls for only €1 at the butcher's grill. The Globus chain has a huge shopping area there with an information desk. There's also a parking garage and a gas station. The market is open until 10:00 PM.

The store is very large and has all the daily necessities you need. There's a small section with some bicycle accessories, pet supplies, and an Asian section, but the main items are groceries, meat, and seafood. I visited on a Saturday and it was very crowded, but it didn't feel crowded. The self-checkout counters are relatively spacious. Parking is limited, but there's always space in the parking structure next door. (Korean-only - kimchi and other Korean food are rare. However, the pork belly here is especially delicious :))

This is my favorite place to shop. Plenty of free parking is available. There are restrooms, a newsagent, and you can always find everything you need inside Globus itself. It's clean, and the staff is very friendly. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Everything is there. Thank you!

Meatloaf sandwiches for 1 euro in this quality and thickness of slice are simply unbeatable.

A mega consumer temple. Huge. Large selection, pharmacy, Alnatura (organic food store), beverage market, food court, petrol station - everything on site.

The selection is vast. You can even find different varieties of a common brand, from yogurt to pizza, which are readily available. There's a wide range of cafeteria food. A covered terrace allows smoking, and blankets are even provided in winter. There was an emergency response on site; the first responders were incredibly well-organized, immediately setting up a privacy screen and administering first aid. The ambulance arrived quickly. The sheer number of options can be overwhelming; with so much on offer, I couldn't see everything and decided to come back another time.

Great, nice and spacious, large restaurant and snack bar area, plenty of seating and self-service – I like that, there's just so much to see, every visit feels more like a trade fair than just shopping, simply a nice way to pass the time.

I usually really like using Scan & Go at Globus, but lately it's been extremely frustrating. Every time I go through an "orange check" (random sampling), my entire shopping cart is deleted after the employees have completed the check. Interestingly, this only happens with the younger/newer employees. They scan the items and ask me to tap "Check Complete" in my app. However, since they apparently aren't completing/authorizing the process correctly on their own devices, I get a security prompt asking "Are you sure?". If I confirm, everything is deleted, and I have to scan the entire purchase again at the regular checkout. This completely negates any time savings. This never happens with the more experienced employees – their app immediately switches to the payment code. Please urgently train your younger employees on how to correctly complete the random check on their handheld devices so that the customer doesn't suffer!

A lovely spot, complete with a post office, bakery, and pharmacy. Parking is plentiful, as there are Aldi, Lidl, Rossmann, dm, and other shops, as well as a gas station, right next door. Globus itself also has a parking garage suitable for electric cars, just like any other vehicle. Highly recommended for those who need to visit many shops at once and plan to buy everything in one day to avoid parking multiple times. The only downside is the lack of restrooms! I didn't see any customer restrooms. If you plan on spending a lot of time there, you'll want access to a restroom for customers. That's why I'm deducting one star!

Added on November 9, 2025: So much for the offer guarantee – quite the opposite! Saturday, November 8, around 4:10 p.m.: In the produce section, I approached an employee and asked about the broccoli on sale. "Sold out." I asked if I could get the organic broccoli at the sale price. "That's sold out too." I asked about the offer guarantee, and she told me I had to go to customer service to get the slip. They called the department and said it might take a while, then left me standing there. After about 10 minutes, another woman called back to tell me I wouldn't be getting a slip. I asked about the offer guarantee and why they weren't honoring it. She repeated that she wasn't allowed to issue a slip. I asked for written confirmation of this statement so I could file a complaint. "Absolutely not, I'm not confirming anything!" and left me standing there. So this is what a "offer guarantee" and customer service look like! There have been non-existent offers in recent weeks as well (see photos), and the 500g of zucchini is less than advertised. This is customer deception! December 2024 I pre-ordered meat for December 23rd at 9:30 a.m. When I placed my order, I was assured I wouldn't have to wait in line and would receive the goods directly. I thought that was great. Now for the reality: The pickup line was four times longer than usual and stretched all the way to the cheese counter! The completely overwhelmed employees had a loose collection of handwritten slips of paper—sorted by numbers that the customer didn't recognize. Searching by name was correspondingly difficult because the slips were unsorted and couldn't be filtered, being analog. What avoidable chaos! Why not simply print the same number twice on each order slip and give one copy to the customer? The store manager doesn't seem to be very good at organizing the store. How do other markets handle this? My order couldn't be found. That's a shame.

A wonderful supermarket with a wide range of products for every taste. A very large selection of meat, vegetables, and other products. The fruit is fresh and delicious. There is a large section with delicacies. What I especially liked was that there is a section with products from Ukraine. You can buy such well-known brands as Nizhyn and Veres with their preserves. There are many cafes near the cash registers where you can have lunch. Also there is a large parking lot nearby.

Other discount stores are cheaper, but the selection here is larger. It's a nightmare on weekends; the exit is shared with Lidl and is generally blocked, sometimes even by the electric vehicles that come there just to charge.

Free parking and a very large selection of different items

You don’t even deserve one star. The staff at the entrance are very rude to kid while parents around. Seeing the kid as criminal and questioning without good reason. Do not listen to communicate, refuse trying to communicate in English. Bossy as they are the king and dictator of the place. Btw, all this fuzz is because the scanners stopped working while we are doing the shopping and this is not the first time. Last time we had to rescan everything of the full trolley to pay. Please check your facilities and your staff behaviour.

The Walmart of Germany. 🙄 to massive, to hard to find what I need there.

We went to Globus for breakfast today and wanted to take advantage of the €3 offer, but accidentally ordered a cappuccino instead of a filter coffee. Of course, I wanted to pay the difference. But do you really have to pay double? That's not customer-oriented and disappointing.

I visited the Globus beverage market and was very pleased with the wide selection and great deals. There's free parking right there, and you don't have to pay for the trolleys either. I highly recommend it. The only thing I'm missing is a bottle return machine that accepts all the bottles at once.

Yes, the people stocking shelves are always under a lot of stress, and you can tell, even if they don't say it out loud, you can see it in their facial expressions. You can get everything you need, even in the evenings; everyone is very helpful.

They have absolutely everything, and it's affordable. You can get a delicious hot meal for very little money.

They simply close the doors of the beverage store six minutes early and don't let anyone else in. You just get a look and a dirty look from the store detective saying, "No, that's not possible," even though there are still six minutes left. I drove 20 minutes specifically to get here. I find that absolutely unacceptable.

This is a newly opened large supermarket next to Eschborn Selgros. The impressively spacious store is reminiscent of Korea's E-Mart. Unlike other supermarkets (Aldi, Lidl, Edeka, Reves, etc.), it offers a wide selection of meat, vegetables, bakery items, and quick meals (including fast food, sushi, chicken, etc.), making shopping and eating enjoyable. However, the selection and prices of alcoholic beverages like wine and whiskey are disappointing. For a store of this size, it would be better to differentiate itself from other supermarkets by offering better prices or by installing a large wine cellar. It would be even better if they displayed the famous German GG Riesling and sold wines from renowned domaines in France and Italy. Smoking at the entrance would be a good idea. I don't understand why people have to smell other people's cigarettes as they enter and exit. Also, many children pass by, so is it appropriate for adults to expose them to the smell of cigarettes? I hope that Globus, who is just watching this, will think again.

We like coming here because of the large selection and because it's so convenient to scan items directly in the shopping basket and not have to stand in line at the checkout.

Great market with lots of offers… charging an electric car, shopping and eating… absolutely fantastic!

This supermarket is very expensive; some items cost twice as much as in other supermarkets for no reason. The staff is rude and very angry. I do not recommend this supermarket.

The food has gotten worse, it's a real shame.

I work in Eschborn, so I shop at Globus very often. I especially like the pastry section and the fruit and vegetable section. The parking lot is also plenty big. However, about 20% of the time so far, I've received poor service at the checkout. I think it's necessary to increase employee training.

The best Globus! I love coming here – the selection is incredibly diverse. It would be great if they also had the sparkling water cake like in Erfurt, but otherwise everything is just perfect. The staff are very helpful and friendly, and shopping here is simply a real pleasure.

Although I clearly exceeded the €80 spending threshold today, I only received single points because the beverage store has its own checkout lanes. That's not very customer-friendly! After all, I did spend enough to earn the bonus points. On a positive note, there are often offers available in the market that were not advertised in the brochure. Today, for example, this included Coke.

Yes. Parking without time limits. Inexpensive meat counter. Good seating. Good selection of goods in the sales area. Unfortunately, all the promotional brochures were already gone by Monday. Reason: They contained a voucher for a free meatloaf.

This is a huge supermarket with all kinds of products, and a look here shows that not all prices in Europe are that high.
