Das Essen war super lecker. Die selbst gemachte Limonade und das Kronberger Bier ist auch super. Nur das Cordon Bleu hätte ein klein bisschen größer sein können, aber alles noch in Ordnung. Nächstes Mal einfach noch ne Vorspeise nehmen. Die Preise sind normal, also völlig in Ordnung. Der Außenbereich ist super schön mit Libellen, Teich mit plätscherndem Brunnen und Palmen.

Gemütliches Lokal mit einem schönen Innenhof, in dem leider kein Platz mehr war. Das Essen: Das Wiener Schnitzel war perfekt gebraten, aber nicht ganz zart. Die Beilagen waren sehr lecker. Große Portionen zu einem fairen Preis.

Im Sommer ist der Innenhof ein absoluter Geheimtipp!

Biergarten unter Palmen, das hat schon was. Die Speisekarte liest sich so gut, das man Schwierigkeiten hat, sich zu entscheiden. Die Hessenhappen sind sehr zu empfehlen, da bekommt man von allem etwas, perfekt. Trotz das es voll war und zusätzlich eine Feier, behielt das Serviceteam den Überblick und vergewisserte sich regelmäßig, das nichts vergessen wurde. Toll 👍🏻

Schönes restaurant mit gutem essen ist aber nichtmehr das was es einmal war

Seit langem das Beste, was wir gegessen haben. Ursprünglich war unser Tag ganz anders geplant. Spontan waren wir auf der Suche nach einer Lokalität in der Nähe unseres neuen Wohnorts. Das war eine 10/10! Angefangen mit dem überdachten Sitzplatz im Hof, vom aufmerksamen Service bis hin zum Essen. Die Spargelsuppe war der Knaller und auch das Frankfurter Schnitzel mit den herausragenden Bratkartoffeln war der Hit! Hier versteht jemand sein Handwerk in der Küche und wir wissen, wovon wir sprechen, weil wir beide den Beruf gelernt haben. Die grüne Soße war nicht nur ein Klecks irgendwo, sondern eine Schale voll, die ich nachher noch rausgelöffelt habe. Lediglich eine Zitrone hätte ich mir auf dem Teller gewünscht. Was aber nicht entscheidend für das Ganze ist und ich bin sicher, dass ich sie bekommen hätte, wenn ich danach gefragt hätte, was ich nicht habe. Mein Mann hatte ein Beefsteak mit einer schmackhaften Jus, ebenso Bratkartoffeln und einem kleinen Beilagensalat. Fazit: hier kann man hin, wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Das einzige, was uns gestört hat, waren die Grasmilben. Diese kleinen roten Viecher, die man kaum sieht und die beißen. Lästig! Aber dafür kann ja niemand was. Bis bald, liebes Team!

Wir sind spontan zu dieser Lokalität gefahren, ich habe schon viele gute Bewertungen über das Lokal gehört und wurde nicht enttäuscht, einzig die Parkplatzsituation kann zu Herausforderung werden. Wir waren kurz nach 17:30 Uhr da, dass Lokal öffnet seine Pforten um 17:30 Uhr so daß wir auch ohne Reservierung einen schönen Platz im Biergarten bekommen könnten. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und nett, die Chefin (ich denke mal das war sie) nimmt sich für ihre Gäste Zeit und gesellt sich auch teilweise dazu und spricht mit ihnen ohne das es aufdringlich wirkt, einfach nett halt. Nun zum wichtigsten, dass Essen ich hätte eine Spargelcremesuppe und ich weiß nicht, ob ich jemals eine so gute gegessen habe, eine große Terrine mit viel Einlage für 5,80 Euro, da kann man wirklich nichts sagen und ich hätte gerne noch eine gegessen. Anschließend hätte ich ein Deutsches Beefsteak mit Schmorzwiebelm, Spiegel und einer hausgemachten Soße, dazu selbstgemachte Bratkartoffeln mit Zwiebeln und Speck sowie ein kleiner Salat....einfach nur phantastisch.... Eine Anmerkung noch zu den Schnitzelgerichten, Schnitzel sind paniert und werden auf der Soße angerichtet, so das sieht durchweichen. Wer das nicht mag, sollte der Bedienung sagen, dass die Soße extra dazu gereicht werden soll.... Das Lokal ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Das ist ein echter Tipp für alle die in authentischer Atmosphäre einen tollen Abend mit lokalen Spezialitäten verbringen möchte. Ob Essen oder Trinken, oder natürlich beides, das ist hier ein tolles Erlebnis. Unaufgefordert wurden ungezwungene Gespräche mit den Eigentümern, Angestellten und Gästen geführt als ob man ständiger Gast wäre. Lokale Gaststättenkultur in reiner Form.

Ein super Service und sehr gutes Essen.

Schönes Lokal mit dazu gehörigen Hotel und Biergarten. Super gemütlich. Wir hatten Spargelcremesuppe als Vorspeise und diese war perfekt, noch nie solch eine aromatische gut abgestimmte Suppe gegessen. Hauptgang zweierlei an Knödel mit Champignonrahm was ebenfalls lecker war. Hacksteak mit Zwiebeln und Spiegelei und Bratkartoffeln, hier vielleicht noch mal überdenken, Hacksteak lecker, Zwiebeln leider sehr dunkel wie die Sauce, etwas weniger Zuckercouleur würde es auch tun ebenso die Zwiebeln nicht mit der Sauce angießen, die Sauce nicht so früh auf den Teller geben dann zieht diese keine Haut oder später unter den Pass stellen 😉 und die Bratkartoffeln etwas mehr Farbe und knuspriger, dann wäre es perfekt. Ansonsten ein rundes Gericht , gute Küche, netter Service, wir kommen wieder und ich esse wieder das Hacksteak und schaue mal ob es angekommen wurde.

Die Vorspeise war hervorragend, und das dazu gereichte Brot war gut. Der Hauptgang hingegen enttäuschte: Die Hähnchenfilets waren trocken, und die traditionellen Spätzle, eine Art Makkaroni, waren geschmacklos und hatten einen etwas unangenehmen Geschmack. (Ich bitte um Entschuldigung, mir ist bewusst, dass Spätzle ein regionales Nationalgericht sind und von Gästen von außerhalb keinesfalls kritisiert werden sollten.) Das Restaurant war bis auf den letzten Tisch besetzt, und die meisten Gäste schienen sich gut zu amüsieren und das Essen zu genießen. Allerdings war es im Restaurant recht laut, und ich konnte mich am anderen Ende des Tisches kaum unterhalten. Ich würde trotzdem wiederkommen und dann wahrscheinlich etwas mit rotem Fleisch probieren. Der Service war professionell und freundlich.

Wir waren im Anschluss einer Besichtigung hier und waren froh, dass wir einen Tisch zur späten Stunde reservieren konnten. (20:30) - keine Selbstverständlichkeit mehr. Aber hier waren wir sehr willkommen und auch schnell zum Tisch gebracht. Das Essen toll - Burger und Kotelett frisch gemacht und schnell serviert. Und als Exilkölner haben wir uns sehr über das Kölsch gefreut.

Jan. 2026 Ich war jetzt das erste Mal im Haus Bommersheim mit sieben Personen. Das Essen war gut und reichlich, der Service nett und freundlich und im Innenraum war es zwar etwas laut, aber gemütlich. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder einmal. Preislich angehoben.

Guter Beilagen Salat, Essen war lecker und ausreichend, wir hatten das Bommersheimer Beefsteak mit Bratkartoffeln, Kritikpunkt Im laufenden Betrieb Tel. leider nicht erreichbar gewesen da wir bescheid geben wollten das wir uns leicht verspäten auf Grund des Verkehrs, Die Chefin die uns entgegen genommen hatte hat uns an den Tisch gebracht war aber etwas gestresst und sagte das wir für 20:00 Uhr reserviert haben und es jetzt 20:15 Uhr sei und das sie bald gerne Feierabend machen möchte was mich etwas irritierte, die andere Bedienung war freundlich, nett und aufmerksam, Zusatz, man hat die Zeit aber kurz darauf die Rezension der Kunden zu lesen und sie darauf anzurufen wie so die Rezeption nicht besser ist was noch ein drauf setzt.

Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team. Ich war in der Vorweihnachtszeit dort und es war jeder Platz besetzt. Trotzdem hat man meinen Wunsch auf einen ruhigen Tisch nach vorheriger Reservierung erfüllt. Das Essen kam trotz der hohen Auslastung super schnell und hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Den ganzen Team ein großes Lob, das in dieser Zeit so professionell zu organisieren und dabei immer freundlich zu bleiben. Auch ein extra Wunsch wurde mir durchaus erfüllt. Ich komme gerne wieder und kann das Bommersheim sehr empfehlen.

Wir waren jetzt dieses Jahr ein paarmal hier und es ist immer zu empfehlen. Im Sommer besonders schön, wenn man draußen sitzen kann. Im Winter ist es sehr gemütlich drin. Wir waren heute Gans essen und das ist ausgesprochen lecker gewesen und vom Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis mehr hier auf jeden Fall unschlagbar. Man bekommt sogar noch einen Nachtisch dazu. Eine überaus große Menge. Das hab ich selten so erlebt. Und absolut lecker.

Hello everyone! I went to "Im Bommersheim" in Eschborn with my girlfriend. Sounds like a traditional costume group in a big city? Far from it! What we found was absolutely fantastic! To the point: I've become a bit more cautious with my reviews here these days. Often, restaurants started out great and then declined significantly. We've eaten here (with enthusiasm!) five times now, sometimes with several people, sometimes just the two of us, and the quality has always been consistently high! The restaurant has an indoor and outdoor area. The outdoor area is in a courtyard, accessible from the street through a small, inconspicuous door. What follows can only be described as "Wow!": Tall palm trees that provide wonderful shade in the summer combined with a rustic beer garden. Extremely cozy! From there, you enter the interior, which is very bright and rustically cozy. A very nice bar area. The manager and the waitresses zip by. Always with a smile and always a friendly word, never affected or pretentious, but you can tell that a lot of heart and soul is put into this place—even at full capacity. Great! (Small side note: I think it's really "great" when, upon arrival, you're honestly told, "We're very busy, so it'll take a while for dinner tonight." That's a clear message, just the way I want it! After all, I didn't go to the Golden M to be processed in record time.) 😊 Most importantly: The food! Down-to-earth, regional cuisine, just the way I like it! It tasted "like my grandma used to make!" I had fried potatoes, a homemade meatball with dark sauce, and a fried egg. Super delicious, I definitely recommend it. The lady across the table was thrilled with the schnitzel with mushrooms and fried potatoes. (Me too, because I had to try it after all...). The side salad is very, very generous and delicious. For dessert, we had Kaiserschmarren (a pancake with a pancake filling), a delicious culinary "swindle" that absolutely had to be followed by a Williams Christ pear to aid digestion! (What I really like: Of course, the dessert was way too much for me. So we asked for a second set of cutlery for my girlfriend so we could share this delight. In some restaurants, you'll probably get a strange look from the wait staff at this point. Definitely not here; it was a given. 😊) The food and drinks are reasonable in terms of value for money. You can pay at the table with a card or cash. The last impression often sticks in your memory. For me, it was the attentiveness of the wait staff. When I mentioned that I still had a two-hour drive ahead of me (it was around 9:30 p.m.), "Mrs. Bomnersheim" 😉 pressed a cold bottle of drink into my hand ("for the road"). These are nice little gestures that stay with you! Conclusion: Everything was done right, 5 out of 5 stars, unreserved recommendation! Tip: Reserve a table! Last-minute bookings are also possible!

We were pleasantly surprised after spontaneously deciding to visit the restaurant and making an online reservation. Once we arrived, there's ample parking at the end of a small side street, so it's only a short walk to the restaurant. The ambiance is very appealing, rustic, and cozy, offering a lovely atmosphere both inside and out, and parties/celebrations are also possible here. The service team was friendly, happy to engage in small chat, and even offered a few good tips. The wait for the food was perfectly acceptable for a Saturday and the number of guests. The food was plentiful and tasty, although the sauce for the schnitzel with mushroom cream sauce should have been placed next to it or on its own to prevent it from becoming soggy. A little garnish, like a slice of lemon or some herbs, would have been more appealing, but that's really just a minor detail. The salad came in a separate bowl, which I thought was really nice, so the sauce wouldn't run through the rest of the food. The green sauce also tastes really good, but at our friend's request, it could have been a bit thicker and chunkier, and not quite as pureed. What I really liked was that the food was served with gloves, not only because the plates were warm, but also for hygiene reasons. We felt very comfortable; the tables were well-arranged, allowing for a certain amount of privacy. It might be worth mentioning for allergy sufferers that dogs are tolerated here. I love animals, but I'm a bit ambivalent about them in a restaurant, especially when they become a tripping hazard, as in the case I observed.

I would particularly like to highlight the schnitzel, which is by far one of the best I've ever eaten: perfectly cooked, juicy, with a golden-brown coating that's neither too greasy nor too dry – simply outstanding! You can tell that the focus here is still on the guest. Our individual requests were addressed immediately, and the food arrived quickly and hot, despite the busy restaurant. The restaurant's high occupancy speaks for itself – many guests return here regularly, confirming its excellent reputation. The ambiance is also particularly charming: quaint, cozy, and with a unique character that exudes authenticity and well-being. Apparently, there's even the option of overnight stays – which makes the Bommbersheim an attractive destination for travelers or business people. Only the parking situation is rather poor. Conclusion: The Bommbersheim impresses across the board. Excellent cuisine, very friendly service, and a pleasant atmosphere make a visit a real pleasure. I was thoroughly satisfied with my stay and was able to enjoy an excellent meal together with my colleagues. I definitely recommend it – anyone who appreciates good German cuisine should come and see for themselves!

I like the Selektion of vegetarian dishes and especially the “Kartoffeln mit grüner Soße” have a special taste which you usually don’t find in other restaurants offering this dish.

Delicious traditional food 😋 Excellent service

Answer: Good evening, We wanted to pay together, not separately. I need to see what I have to pay first. The waitress didn't show us the bill; she just told us how much we had to pay. After paying, we got the bill and saw something was wrong. The second time, I had to go to the cashier to see the bill. The waitress already knew the price of the soup was wrong because she started correcting the price. What would have happened if I didn't want to check the bill? And on top of that, there were two Fritz Cokes on the bill, which I didn't order. ....................................................................... I was here twice. The food is great, but the service/billing is not OK. When you are asking for the bill, they just tell you how much you have to pay without giving you a bill or a note to see if everything is OK. First time, I was charged more for the soups. They said the price was not adjusted in the computer. Ok, I understand a mistake, it can happen. I received the difference back. One week after, I came gain because the food is great. I waited around 1 hour for the bill. When I asked to see what I was charged for, I was told to go to the "computer" and to see there. The soups were again with a bigger price. It was corrected eventually. The card payment didn't work at all and this was good at the end because I noticed that I was charged with 2 bottles of Cola which I never ordered. This is not normal, it looks like they are doing it on purpose, they charge you extra. For this reason I will never come here again. Ask every time to see the bill before paying to avoid being charged for something you never ordered.

Five of us were there for my birthday a few days ago. I chose the restaurant based on the good reviews. I don't know if we were just unlucky, understaffed, the chef having a bad day, or a combination of all of the above. Our order wasn't taken until after a 30-minute wait, and the drinks arrived another 15 minutes later. In total, we had to wait over an hour and a half for our food, and unfortunately, the food wasn't great either. It's a real shame... On a positive note, I'd like to mention the beautiful courtyard and the beautifully decorated dining room.

We had a family celebration with 40 people and a Hessian buffet in the courtyard under palm trees. The ambiance and friendly service were outstanding. The food was excellent. All guests were highly satisfied. Highly recommended!

The food is delicious, and the portions are decent. The staff are very friendly. The food was very hot and fresh. We sat near the kitchen, and every time the door opened, the delicious smell of food wafted in. We had two dishes of the chanterelle cream soup, one of the meatloaf with fried potatoes, one of the wild mushroom schnitzel with fried potatoes, and one of the chanterelle schnitzel with fried potatoes. Each dish comes with a delicious salad. We were there with the barometer and will definitely be back. Highly recommended 👍🏻

There were three of us there without a reservation, as we wanted to sit inside anyway. I recommend a reservation for outside. Finding a parking space was a bit tricky, as Google led me to the hotel parking lot. The actual parking lot for restaurant guests was spacious, but somewhat hidden. With all due respect, I may say that the ladies who brought us food and drinks were extraordinarily pretty, as well as very friendly and attentive. I had the steak tartare. It came on a board with an egg, anchovies (very mild; could have been herring), onions, cucumbers, capers, mustard, and fresh bread with butter. That alone would have been enough. Then I had the Bommersheimer Hacksteak, a sophisticated version of a meatball, with a delicious sauce and perfect fried potatoes. They were crispy and topped with onions and bacon. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough time for dessert. Instead, I got two glasses of Sauvignon Blanc. Price-wise, I'd rate the restaurant a bit higher, but still within reason. In any case, it was a very nice evening.

As a group with a long lead time, the restaurant was unfortunately the wrong choice for us. Arriving at 7:30 p.m., we were able to place our first drink order at 8 p.m. We then waited another 30 minutes for our food order, which arrived at 9:20 p.m. Fact: Almost two hours for the steaks to arrive on the table, with an announced group, is simply too much. It was noticeable that one server is unfortunately two too few. This also affected the ordering process. If burgers are ordered with bacon, it should be on them and not consistently missing from everyone. The same was true for the lumberjack steak with fried potatoes. Here, too, consistent disregard and the service provided with jacket potatoes. However, it's nice that these are delivered later when the main course is long gone. Drinks were available in between. Yes, there were a shortage of servers, and we quickly learned to ration. It was full, yes. As a restaurateur, knowing that the weather is excellent, warm and the weekend is a long time, it's your responsibility to make appropriate preparations. That wasn't the case. Therefore, the owners' attempt to justify their actions by claiming "unpredictability" and then becoming snippy when asked directly and politely is completely unfounded. A good place to go for many, surely, but certainly not for us in the future. Since there are no 2.5 stars, a more appropriate mix and a plus to 3 stars for the only server that evening, who appropriately apologized upon leaving the restaurant.

We were there with 12 people, but unfortunately, despite having a reservation, we didn't get a good seat because the bench didn't have a continuous, straight backrest and was designed for two separate tables. This meant that two people weren't comfortable. The food arrived in a reasonable amount of time and everyone was served at the same time. Only reordering drinks took a while.

The food was good. The service was nice, but completely overwhelmed, which resulted in a wait of almost 100 minutes. That's really not right! That was our last visit for a while.

The "Restaurant Bommersheim" is a rustic and nicely furnished restaurant. The “good home cooking” is very tasty. Price/performance ratio is also OK. If "groups" are present, the room is very noisy and therefore unpleasantly loud. Friendly service. What more could you want! 👍

The food was OK. We waited FOREVER before we could even place our orders. The waitress immediately forgot that you had ordered. She would have to be reminded 3 times to bring the drinks. I ordered gratinated cheese spaetzle. Went with a super tasty side salad. The spaetzle are hand-scraped, which is easy to see. All in all, the taste is just great. Could have literally fooled me.

Wir suchten uns das Bommerheim zum Geburtstagsessen aus da wir es aus unserer Zeit in Bad Soden sehr schätzen gelernt hatten, oft zu Gast waren um die vorzügliche Küche und den Service zu genießen. Ach, hätten wir doch vorher die neuesten Bewertungen gelesen, uns wäre viel Geld und Kummer erspart geblieben. Das neue Konzept heißt vielleicht Masse statt Klasse? Eine freundliche Bedienung setzte uns noch an einen ruhigen Tisch und der freundliche Barmann brachte uns Getränke sodass wir uns auf einen schönen Abend freuten. Leider wechselte dann der Service und das Essen kam. Vorweg trockene Salatblätter mit rosa Dressing (Cocktail?) beschüttet. Das Tagesessen ertränkt in einer gallertartigen Soße die schon Haut gebildet hatte. Die Folienkartoffel meines Mannes versteckte sich unter einem grossen Berg weißer Quarkmasse. Der lieblose Anblick der Teller ließ erahnen was der Gaumen bestätigte. Kritik wurde von der Bedienung (Pächterin ?) unhöflich begegnet in einem Ton der seinesgleichen sucht. Fairerweise muss man sagen, dass die Preise passend zur Qualität gesunken sind. Das uns der dadurch verbliebende Restbetrag unseres Gutscheins nicht ausbezahlt wird (womöglich aus Kulanz) war zu erwarten…der umgehende und im Kontext mit einem Restaurantbesuch völlig überzogene und unpassende Hinweis auf die gesetzliche Verpflichtung rundet das Bild des Besuches zumindest konsequent ab. Schade um das Restaurant Bommersheim. 😢

In itself a nice restaurant with delicious food but you need a lot of patience and time. We sat there for a total of 2.5 hours for a schnitzel and meatloaf. No, I didn't commit myself to the fact by stating the time. The dessert, which was ordered at the same time as the main course, was unfortunately also faulty. Apparently the worm was in there that day

We went to today Eating there and it was very full (as always very well attended) - because the ambience inside and outside is simply beautiful, we had to wait a little longer for food and drink. Unfortunately, they were understaffed. However, extremely friendly and accommodating at all times. After a long wait we got our fantastic food. We'll definitely be back, despite the long wait! Thank you for the lovely evening. With such good service you are happy to accept it ;) Very best regards

If you haven't tried the Brizza from this hotel yet, you're missing out. We were there with a guest from Turkey and everyone was thrilled with our food. Nice service and the outside area was nice too.

Das Restaurant ist innen eher rustikal. Draußen im Hof kann man im Sommer schön sitzen. Das Essen ist eine kreative gut bürgerliche Küche mit auch vegetarischen Optionen. ESSEN: Große Portionen. Moderne gut bürgerliche Küche. Gute Bierauswahl! Empfehlenswert ist das große Kotelette 5 von 5 Punkte SERVICE: Leider bei den malen wo ich dort war teils etwas überlastet. Bei hoher Auslastung wird es hektisch und es dauert auch mal länger. Ansonsten ist alles soweit o.k. Leute sind freundlich 4 von 5 Punkte PREIS LEISTUNG: Willkommen in Frankfurter Raum - dies gilt auch for die Preise hier. Vergleichbares essen gibt es ein paar Km weiter außerhalb zu günstigeren Preisen. 3 von 5 Punkten.

As part of a bike tour from Niederhöghstadt via Eschborn Süd to Rödelheim, we always like to take a break here! Service was very good and the wonderful outdoor area with the small playground for children was particularly worth mentioning.

Unfortunately, we had a very bad experience with the service: a table in the beer garden for 7 people was reserved via the app and also by phone - but there was only one table for 6 people. The waitress (apparently the boss herself) first accused us of making mistakes in the reservation until we pointed out to her that the 7 P. was noted in her book. Suggestions for a solution, e.g. adding an additional chair or fetching it from inside, were rejected "we won't do that". Ultimately it was made clear to us “go ahead!”. One star is still too many. We will never be seen there again!
