Yumas in Eschborn

Starter Plate Pica pica is enough for 5 person. The taco plate has 4 tacos in it, it is good to share. The mix tacos plate has 6-8 tacos. It can be a little confusing when the staff does not know that. You can end up ordering way too much. The girl service we had gave her best of advising us, unfortunately she didn’t really know the product so good. We did order good though. Food is good. And the classic margarita is a must!

This place is 🇲🇽 approved ... discovered it 2 years ago with colleagues from Mexico who were impressed by how authentic the dishes are and so was I. That's why I visit every time I'm in Eschborn. Super location, amazing food and great service...

1 hour waiting time for food. And then you have unexpected insect guest - see for yourself. Even after handing him to the manager, I still had to pay my drink. Do I need to comment more? Hmm, no…

It took us 2 weeks of traveling to find an awesome meal. What a fantastic find! Everything fresh and so full of flavor. Nadin and the rest if the crew have got it together. Big portions and oh so flavorful. Have the alambre al pastor and thank me later.

The food was okay, but nothing special. Unfortunately, the tacos were neither homemade nor fresh. They weren't tacos, either, but store-bought, pre-made flatbreads. Nothing truly authentic is more than this kind of food. The service was nice but inattentive. But the cocktails were very good!

We came here based on a recommendation from "Frankfurt Geht aus." In my opinion, Yumas is a solid restaurant where you can enjoy a really nice evening with friends. The service is attentive and friendly. The only downside is the food, which is rather bland and boring.

The food was okay, if not exactly a culinary revelation. What was not okay at all, however, were the wait times. It took 25 minutes before we could even place our order. After 40 minutes, on what had been the hottest day of the year up to that point, we weren't served our ordered drinks, but at least we were served a 0.2-liter bottle of still water (for two people) on the house (admittedly, our dog was immediately given a bowl of water right at the beginning of our visit). After a total of 50 minutes, our ordered nachos (appetizer) and our actual drinks arrived. 80 minutes after we were seated, we finally had our main course. We decided not to have dessert. Conclusion: We won't be coming back. The food simply wasn't special enough for that amount of time.

We received a very warm welcome. The service was excellent, even though it was busy. We had a dog with us, which wasn't a problem at all! Quite the opposite! He was greeted very warmly, given a water bowl, and we were given a quiet table with plenty of space for the dog. The food was delicious, although some of it was a little lacking in flavor. I would recommend making a reservation. The ambiance of sitting outside was very nice.

The burritos here are highly recommended! You get a generous portion, and everything is freshly prepared. A MUST for anyone who loves Mexican food!

The cocktails are great and deserve 4-5 stars. The food tastes good. But the portions are actually more like an appetizer. It's definitely not worth the price you pay. The chairs are rock hard. It's like sitting on a wooden board.

Great Mexican restaurant easy to find and conveniently located within the business district with ample of parking and a vivid crowd of locals and visiting business travelers. Very friendly and caring personnel going above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and happy. My table was not ready, since I showed up 10 min too early and restaurant was super busy on a weekday’s evening. I was offered a free drink and got some good conversation at the bar. Once seated I was guided through the specials and the menu. The selection is not huge, but is a manifesto to the fresh food crafted with love and also the dedication of fast service. I was taken care of with VIP treatment and for sure will return now as a regular customer when I am in the area. I highly recommend this spot!!!

A cozy restaurant with real home-style Mexican cuisine - the food is simply amazing! All the dishes were delicious, with bright, rich flavors. The staff is friendly and attentive. The inside is clean, stylish and pleasant to be in. The desserts were especially memorable - tender and original. A great place for those who appreciate quality and atmosphere.

The food is very good and there's plenty of space. It's self-service, so the service is hard to rate. But everyone is friendly. The biggest problem is a lack of parking. The area is busy during the day, and parking is scarce. There are few or no parking spaces at the restaurant—unfortunately, this wasn't obvious.

Very friendly service; we were surprised by how many guests were in the restaurant, even during the week. The cocktails were really great and we really enjoyed them. Unfortunately, the appetizer didn't quite convince us – the guacamole was a bit bland, and the salsa seemed a bit watery and lacked flavor. The main course, on the other hand, tasted really good, even if it didn't offer any surprises. The DIY tacos were a nice idea, but we would have preferred to have the option to order ready-made tacos.

A state-of-the-art, huge restaurant with an equally huge terrace, which, for that reason alone, lacks a certain tranquility. A local company had over 50 people there, occupying only a small corner of the building. The consistently prompt and friendly service staff handled the entire crowd without apparent effort. Outstanding performance! "My" waiter proved to be very competent; he knows his stuff well. Due to the incredible quantities of food that were being transported over the pass, the quality of the dishes suffered. The pico de gallo that accompanied the tacos as an aperitif was completely seasoned, as was the filling of the aguacate from the appetizer selection. The mole rojo tacos were opened and served almost cold; the chicken, although from the leg, was simply too dry. The cotija or mole were barely noticeable. Nothing works without extra salsa; I'm used to it differently. There are several Mexican cuisines, more Spanish or more indigenous in style. This one didn't match my expectations. A clear downside: Contrary to my request, the tacos for the aperitif were brought out almost at the same time as the appetizer, and there wasn't even an aperitif at the table. A bad habit that has taken root in many restaurants these days. The aperitif must be the priority! The restaurant is clean and modern, and the price/performance ratio is absolutely reasonable.

Great food! We ordered food for home use once and ate there today. The servers were super friendly, the restrooms were clean, and the food was outstanding. One thing I do have to criticize is the small number of tortillas that come with a meal (only 4). I would recommend serving more (6-8 at least). We ordered more tortillas because there were far too few for the price. Unfortunately, our order was forgotten, so we had already eaten everything. It would be great if the customer reordered so that they could respond in a timely manner. Otherwise, highly recommended. We'll be back.

Very nice, attentive and courteous staff. The waiter made it possible for me to find a place for me at dinner time even without a reservation. Unfortunately, the guacamole lacked the finishing touch. If there had been salt and pepper on the table, I could have helped myself. The pico de gallo was watery, you could tell it wasn't freshly made. The onions were just as tasteless as the tomatoes, no coriander (!) and again there was no salt. The perfect starters weren't perfect here, but were probably prepared to save resources and shrunk to the lowest denominator, which is a shame. The tacos barbacoa were delicious and came with classic pickled onions, cilantro topping (finally!) and lime. The lemon tart as dessert with its filled biscuit base was delicious and rounded off the meal perfectly. The cocktails were well balanced, in my case a classic margarita.

Unfortunately, if you're very hungry, you don't have to go there, the menu doesn't have much to offer and there aren't any extra side dishes to order. I had a burrito and extra nachos, which were tasty but not exactly cheap either. Unfortunately I wouldn't come again because the service and prices weren't my cup of tea.

For a restaurant located in a commercial area, I was extremely positively surprised by the quality of the food. I have rarely eaten better and my companion said it was the best meat she had eaten in her life.

The Yumas in Eschborn scores with delicious food and a cool ambience that creates a pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately, the service was very overwhelmed during our visit. We had to wait 20 minutes to order the bill while we were already out of drinks. This significantly marred the otherwise positive experience. If the staff were better organized the restaurant could offer an all around great experience.

after waiting for over an hour, the waitress comes and says that they are crowded and that they lack staff. After half an hour, the restaurant was almost empty. The food that came was edible but cold. Not even a word of apology, sorry, I'm sorry, nothing. Disaster....

Actually i visited this restaurant many times at least 10 times but i was really shocked from the service today and the way the Boss was talking to me. If the restaurant is full so it doesn’t matter to deliver service to make the guests satisfied. My Problem was just getting tortillas to be able to eat the food delivered- its really impossible the experience i had today. Last time will never visit again.

Rarely seen a restaurant like this. Staff very friendly and constantly on the move. The food was very tasty, although we have to be warned that children who are a bit snooty might not find anything on the menu that appeals to them, but with a little improvisation we got the kids through it too. In terms of price, this location is a little higher than perhaps the kebab shop around the corner. However, the service, ambience and the taste of the food speak for themselves. Only in terms of parking technology could it be a little more difficult. Here we used the parking lot of one of the adjacent hotels.

Ordered a starter platter for 5 people - unfortunately there weren't enough pieces of all the dishes (except nachos) for everyone. The main courses were lukewarm at best. The dessert "Tres Leches" was rather dry and hard. One of the guests ordered a non-alcoholic wheat beer - this was not available (only non-alcoholic Pils). Disappointing for a rather ordinary wish.

This is how Mexican food works...! Great authentic menu - no old-fashioned Tex-Mex stuff, but traditional Mexican food. Not exactly cheap, but good. The atmosphere alone doesn't create a holiday mood - unfortunately it's more adapted to Eschborn's long-office crowd... But - top service and delicious food… Very happy again!

This restaurant is absolutely cool: fast and extremely friendly service; The boss himself makes it possible to get a table without having reserved and explains the food despite the full house. The Mescal flights were explained by the employee himself even after his working hours had ended - because it was important to him and he obviously enjoyed working there. 6 out of 5 stars! The restaurant was full to the brim and we got a table on the couch without a reservation. OK. The tacos selection for 2 was great and a lot. A highlight is definitely the mezcal tasting with expert guidance. A perfect evening!

I arrived without a reservation to a completely full restaurant. The accommodated me and I completely understood why the place was packed. The margaritas are great! I had nachos with guacamole and salsa and the habanero salsa is so damn good. I had the veggie chorizo tacos and they were pretty good. Overall they staff were great and friendly, they drinks were great and the food was good. I have no complaints and would definitely come back.

Very tasty food, served lovingly and freshly. The taste is excellent, really something different. Prices are absolutely ok for the quality. Friendly service, enough space. Card payment possible, clean sanitary facilities. Parking possible on the side streets. I can only recommend giving it a try.

Best place for dinner in the area.

I’m really sad writing this as a negative review cause, the food was quite good, the servers were kind, but I had a terrible time in the restaurant due to both the servers for our table (two polite bearded fellows) being visibly very sick. Openly coughing in front of table, sniffling dripping snot inbetween sentences, unfortunately just unacceptable states for waitstaff to be in. Apologies if this is written harshly, it’s just that I have now awoke a few days later looking and sounding exactly as those gentlemen were, having my work week thrown in shambles.

Mexican tapas in stone desert. Hall-like restaurant. Loud, well attended, because it's probably one of the few hospitable places in Eschborn Süd. In the area there are many hotels and high-rise office buildings, a motorway connection and an S-Bahn station. Food tasty, service slightly overwhelmed when the restaurant is full.

We waited 1h for our food, granted an event took place that time, but they could easily informed us beforehand.. quality of the food itself was bad, my colleague ordered chevice and the taste so horrible.. very sour plus the cod was not fresh, another colleague ordered meat and 90% of it was fat only.. all in all bad experience!

A Mexican restaurant with a calm yet bright atmosphere located between a quiet forest of buildings. The taste is great and the customer service is good, but the food comes out too late and the prices are a bit high.

The prices for the food were way too overpriced. For a bit of chicken in my buritto I paid a total of €17 + €3.50 (Cola 0.33ml). The ambience was ok but very empty. The service was so-so. Overall, I can't recommend this restaurant based on the high prices.
