Very tasty food with a view of the horse paddock. It is really recommended

I tested the riding school because it has almost a full 5 stars and after my visit nothing surprises me anymore. If you like the cuisine that is offered there then it is probably the best choice in all of Bamberg. Maybe even the Bamberg district. Stay as you are. It wasn't the first time I was there and especially not the last time. You still have to know for yourself.

Restaurant very simple. Not comfortable. Service was quite OK. Food wasn't really good. Portions too small for the prices. The chef wants to portray more than he can really do. I have been a chef myself for 37 years. I can't recommend it.

Unfortunately, we were unable to verify the positive food reviews during our visit. The young lady in service was extremely friendly and our dog was also very welcome. Unfortunately the quality of the meat was disastrous. A pity!

I ate here for the first time in March and am here again now. The food is very good. Both in terms of taste and portion. It's something special that you wouldn't otherwise taste. A huge compliment goes out to the brilliant chef here. The service is also very friendly and accommodating. I would come here again and again.

This was our second time there since the new chef took over. Both times the food was delicious. Not just standard, but well coordinated, great products, both for soup, salad and main course. For example, the asparagus was on point, the hollandaise sauce was a dream and the small schnitzel was crispy, tender and very well seasoned. Price/performance absolutely top. The goulash is super tender and a poem. What's more, the service was great and super nice. Unfortunately, the restaurant is probably not that well known and therefore not visited enough. I would highly recommend anyone in the region to visit the restaurant. Normally I'm very reserved when it comes to reviews, but it would be a shame if this place didn't get the attention it deserves. I hope I can contribute to this. We'll definitely be back.

We were there with the family on Pentecost Sunday after I was impressed by the 'test meal' there. EVERYONE loved the food! The crème brulee dessert was the winner... A real insider tip for everyone who doesn't need a fancy look and is looking for a kitchen with a twist and attention to detail.

I've eaten there several times since the new owner took over. I preferred to order the char with various side dishes and was always completely impressed. Very tasty, the dishes are not something you would necessarily expect in a “tavern” atmosphere, so they are a real insider tip for high-quality food. The portion sizes are appropriate – price/performance is great given the location. The service and the chef are very friendly and the cooking here is still done with love. The adjacent forest invites you to take a walk after your meal.

Very good food. It's a nice change from the usual standards in the cathedral city. Thanks to the selected menu, you are thankfully forced to leave your personal comfort zone and you definitely won't be disappointed. The chef is an expert.

My family and I were there for the first time today and not for the last time. The friendliness of the service leaves nothing to be desired, we provide you with good information and advice on every question. The food is purchased regionally and processed with love and heart, which is reflected in the very good taste of the dishes. The design of the rooms is very comfortable for us and invites you to linger. We look forward to a reunion.

We have been here again for a long time. The tenant has probably changed and the concept has changed. The cuisine is now very sustainable and regional. The soups were very tasty, as were all the main courses we tried. You could tell that every plate was very well coordinated and that, without exception, everything was made by yourself. The price performance was really very good, including the drinks prices. We'll definitely be back 👍🏻

Today we went to the riding stables for lunch for the first time. It tasted very good, clear soup, beef with horseradish, dessert, organic wine from Franconia and Weiher beer. Bravo! Eating in the best slow food style. Finally not schnitzel with fries and ready-made products, flavor enhancers and sauces from the bucket. A quality that is very rare in Bamberg. And all at extremely reasonable prices and charming service! We wish you lots of success! We have already made reservations for the next dinner!

Wir waren mit 10 Personen Essen und es hat einfach allen geschmeckt! Die Bedienungen waren sehr freundlich! Zu schade, dass das Lokal Ende des Monat's schließt!

Super leckeres Essen. Man schmeckt bei den Burgern die Qualität des Fleisches. Riesen Portionen und Top Preis, auf jeden Fall ein Besuch wert.

Kurzum: absolut top. Das Lokal, das Essen und der Service. Hier kommen "Service Cubes" auf den Tischen zum Einsatz, um den Service rufen. Interessantes Konzept, klappt super. Essen und Getränke landen automatisch auf den passenden Plätzen, ohne dass die Servicekraft fragen muss, wer was bestellt hätte. Selbst wenn es eine andere ist. Hab ich so noch nicht erlebt. Preislich ist das Essen durchaus in einem gehobenen Segment angesiedelt. Es ist seinen Preis aber auf jeden Fall wert. Sehr gerne kommen wir wieder.

Ländlich gelegen am Rande von Bamberg gab es die leckere Satteltasche mit Bratkartoffeln. Meine Empfehlung an den Chef. Hat mir sehr gut geschmeckt. Ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistung Verhältnis und der Service ist nur einen liebevollen Knopfdruck entfernt. Eine sehr gute Adresse, wenn man mal dem Touristenmoloch aus der City entkommen möchte.

Waren heute zum ersten Mal dort und sowas von begeistert. Super netter Chef oder auch die Mitarbeiter überdurchschnittlich Service konnten gar nicht Glauben dass es sowas noch gibt . Toller Service und das ganze Ambiente einfach nur geil !!! Vom Essen ganz begeistert . Das beste was wir seid langem hatten. Da können sich andere ne Scheibe abschneiden. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und empfehlen euch bestimmt weiter . Macht weiter so !!!!!

Unglaublich, so etwas gibt es noch? Das Restaurant ist mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, das Essen ist gut und es ging total schnell. Überragend ist der freundliche Service, so was hab ich schon lange nicht mehr erlebt. Auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung ohne Einschränkungen. Weiter so!

Sehr gemütlich, eine kleine aber sehr feine und sehr leckere Essensauswahl. Finde ich sowieso besser als diese Endloskarten mit gefühlt 150 Gerichten. Auch die Schreibweise/Art der Speisekarte ist super, weil man das Gefühl hat, einfach sein Essen so zu bestellen, wie man will und nicht erst fragen muss, ob es etwas anders möglich wäre. Die Idee mit dem "Buzzer" für Service und Pay auf jedem Tisch fanden wir super. Senorita Burger und Satteltasche waren perfekt. Die Bedienungen waren mega freundlich, selbst die Küchenmitarbeiter schauten immer sehr freundlich und grüßten uns. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder zum Essen kommen. Dann auch mit Kind wegen der Pferde.

Einfach SUPER!!! Man fühlt sich sofort wohl und Willkommen!!! Das gesamte Personal ist supernett und ist bemüht alle Wünsche zu erfüllen, mit dem Bedienungsknopf am Tisch läuft dies sehr dezent und trotzdem rasch ab (eine geniale Idee). Selbst die Onlinereservierung ging so simpel und hat hervorragend funktioniert. Die Speisekarte ist breit gefächert, für jeden Geschmack was dabei! Und das Essen war fantastisch. Selbst die alten Räumlichkeiten sind mit Liebe zum Detail und zum Wohlfühlen hergerichtet. Am Nachbartisch konnte ich auch noch erleben, wie kinderlieb das Personal und der Chef sich um die Belange der Familie gekümmert hat. Mein Fazit ich komme bestimmt öfter wieder und kann dieses Restaurant absolut weiterempfehlen!!

Wir waren jetzt 2 Samstage hintereinander im Reiterhof, mal zu viert, mal zu neunt und knapp gesagt - Klasse! Atmosphäre locker, urig, gesellig, aber nicht zu laut, Personal aufmerksam, freundlich, flexibel, Speisen und Getränke lecker, für jeden etwas Passendes und kleine Gimmicks für die kleinen Gäste. War vor Corona mal dort und damals schon sehr zufrieden. Gestern auf Einladung meiner Tochter mit Schwiegersohn, Enkelin und Partnerin, wieder dort. Kann nur sagen: Ambiente rustikal/interessant, Personal aufmerksam und freundlich (inkl. Chef), Die Getränke/Gerichte waren schnell serviert und haben allen gut geschmeckt.
