The service was superb, couldn't have been better. The drinks were also top-notch, but there were a few drawbacks with my appetizers. I was asked if everything was alright, and I had a couple of points to discuss. The trout on dill cream was unfortunately shredded (I would have preferred to see the whole fillet). Furthermore, there was no dill cream, although there was some sour cream on top in thin drizzles – far too little, and sprinkled with dry dill. To me, that didn't really resemble trout on dill cream. The cream should be prepared in advance and made with fresh or frozen herbs; it looked rather sad. The salad was the same for both appetizers, basically the kind you find at a kebab shop: iceberg lettuce, corn, carrot strips, radishes, without any fresh herbs. The salad was okay, meaning fresh, but too simple and not really complemented the appetizer. The venison meatballs were excellent, served with the same crème fraîche/sour cream underneath, the same salad, and the same bread. I would have preferred the main components of the appetizer to be highlighted; on both plates, this was the salad. The walnuts around the venison meatballs were also missing from the appetizer. And if I ask my guest if everything is alright and then have to deal with some criticism, especially when components are missing, you should offer the guest a price reduction. The chic shop is now called Mustis Grillhaus. What really bothers me is the grill skewer - cheap minced meat that doesn't taste very good. Anyone who has ever eaten a proper kebab knows how bad the meat tastes here. Unfortunately, they cut corners. Addendum: I wanted to give the kebab another chance and went back on Saturday, September 14, 2024, and was shocked: the meat was caught in a really disgusting-looking catering bowl when it was cut, and just like the first time, the flatbread broke all over the place while I was eating it. My conclusion is that this was the last time I'll be there; I'd rather get the pre-baked kebab, it's worlds better.

After a relaxing hike in the sunshine, our family of seven stopped at the Leinemühle restaurant. We had made a reservation, and a small table, beautifully set with a festive Christmas theme, was waiting for us. 🙏🏻 Our two dogs received a warm welcome, just like us, and were immediately given a bowl of water – how thoughtful! The very friendly waitress quickly brought our drinks and food – simply fantastic! Each of us ordered something different – ​​for example, steak, pike-perch, and roulades…everything was freshly prepared and absolutely delicious! A big thank you to the attentive staff and, of course, to the chef who delighted us with his culinary skills! The restaurant is very well-maintained and cozy. We will definitely be back! 😃

I don't know this restaurant, but it's supposed to be good. I'm one of the bus drivers who drives past it.
