Gaststätte Rose in Wernigerode

Beautiful pub on the edge of an allotment garden association with real nostalgic charm. Was there for a birthday party. The prepared buffet was delicious, and the host and landlady carefully looked after all the guests.

I've been there several times now, but only for family celebrations. So I can't judge the actual restaurant operation. At the celebrations, the food in the form of a warm/cold buffet was always very good and plentiful. The service was always courteous. As soon as the glass was empty, there was another full one on the table. I'm already looking forward to the next celebration! 🙂

Yes, it's absolutely great for a garden restaurant. The food was very tasty - made by hand. We'll be back.

Restaurant is in a garden area. The innkeeper and his wife respond to the guests' wishes and the food is very tasty. The ambience is very good, as you are also greeted very friendly by the regular guests. It is reminiscent of the times before the fall of the Berlin Wall. We felt very comfortable there.

A small restaurant from times gone by. Everything was the same as it was years ago but simply cozy and beautiful. You feel comfortable, the food is super tasty and the people there are very nice.

An absolute disgrace: My 80-year-old grandmother (former owner of a garden there in the garden section) urgently had to go to the toilet while walking through the garden section and had no other choice but to go to the restaurant. Unfortunately it was so urgent that she went straight to the toilet without asking. She was then locked up/locked up there by the owner!!! This is DEPRIVATION OF LIBERTY and COERCION! One could have sought the conversation afterwards. She would also have paid money for it. But unfortunately that didn't happen anymore... Unfortunately, my grandma won't press charges! I definitely would have done it!!!

It was great, the food was delicious, I'd be happy to do it again. Thanks for the lovely evening.

The 'Rose' is a restaurant with very good, freshly cooked food and friendly hosts. The service is quick. The prices are moderate, you always feel comfortable here.

Nice restaurant couple who take equal care of every guest, regardless of whether you just want to drink or eat. The food is freshly prepared and tastes very good. Small but nice menu.
