Gaststätte Pinkus Müller in Münster

Very good German cuisine with many Westphalian classics. The homemade beers are also very tasty and there is a wide selection. We were there on a Saturday evening and it was very busy. It is advisable to reserve in advance. The service was very accommodating. I can only recommend the Pinkus Müller restaurant.

The Pinkus keeps what a brewery - restaurant promises. Nothing more, but nothing less either. The service was very friendly and attentive, the beer was good and the food was solid (Westphalian) home cooking. Gladly again!

Went here primarily for the beer, some of which was unfortunately sour. Please check your equipment for lactobacilli.

For me it's always a must when I'm in Münster. The food there is hearty and good. The staff is also friendly. A quaint, good pub but always quite full.

Cozy old, traditional inn with good beers from our own brewery. It is very popular and was therefore very crowded on Saturday evening. Nevertheless, even without booking in advance, we still got a table in a corner that wasn't "preferred". The service was friendly and we didn't have to wait that long for our food. We chose the small dishes and were very satisfied.

An old, very cozy restaurant with a lot of atmosphere. The food - hearty Westphalian cuisine - is excellent. There is also a good selection of vegetarian food as well as delicious desserts. Great beer selection! Not cheap, but not overpriced either.

I loved it here I'm only giving it 4 stars, this has nothing to do with the venue nor quality of the food it is just because the portion sizes were not what I have come to expect in Germany and later on that evening I did order an item from the starter menu to fill the gap. the actual food was delicious and tasty and the beers were second to none, after all the restaurant is also the brewery tap. I loved the beer menu and did try a few , my German is not really up to scratch but the staff were extremely patient with me as I insisted in ordering everything from the German menu in very poor German but the staff were ever so friendly, as I found everyone I met in Munster to be so. definitely the friendliest people I have met during my numerous visits to Germany. There is an English language menu too , which came in handy for my wife who did not trust my translation whatsoever. this was the cheapest of the three restaurants I visited on my long weekend there and the bill came to 113 euros for two two course meals and quite a few wines and beers.

We enjoyed our meal and the service was really great.

We hadden via email een poging gedaan te reserveren. Geen reactie gehad voor het tijdstip. Toen langsgelopen. Geplaatst in een muf achterafzaaltje. Eten was slecht. Droge bratwurst met een gek nasmaakje. Even voor de goede orde.. wij lusten alles! Op de foto ziet het er wel ok uit.Met de feedback werd niets gedaan. Voor het eerst slecht gegeten in Duitsland. Voor alles is er een eerste keer.

I spent my 50th there yesterday with delicious food and beer. The honey malt was really very wholesome. Plus mega friendly waitresses. So if you visit Münster, you should stop by there

I've never experienced anything like this before. There were two of us and we sat at the table for more than twenty minutes. We were simply ignored... Completely shocked, we went to the competition to enjoy the Westphalian cuisine. After such a “friendly” welcome, we will advise against visiting the restaurant.

I've been there twice now and can only recommend it. I had a beef broth as a starter, which really gave me strength. And the main course was Westphalian pot. So if you like good German cuisine, a rustic atmosphere and excellent beer, this is the place for you. I was particularly impressed by the Pinkus Special. I could drink liters. And maybe I have that too🦅

Hearty home cooking and delicious beers, what more could you want

Complete chaos as to who serves which table. The first waiter told us, I don't do that, they do it from above. But no one came from there. So after 30 minutes we had nothing to drink, let alone eat. There wasn't even enough for an order. Luckily there were several restaurants nearby where you could be served and fed. Not recommended! Actually 0 stars

Brewery pub in Münster. It's nice to sit outside, the beer is delicious (and organic) and the food looked very tasty too - we'll happily do so again when we're in the area...

I would like to give even more stars for the service. It was really fun. Four of us were here on Friday evening and had reserved. You can sit there so comfortably, the service was extremely nice, attentive and quick, and the food was excellent across the board. The portions are generous. The extensive beer menu should satisfy everyone's desires. For example, I thought the Radler was really good - not too sweet and very refreshing. Great shop!

Tolle Biere, freundliche und kompetente Bedienung. Der Flammkuchen war selbst gemacht und kein Fertigprodukt. Die Atmosphäre war urig und gemütlich. Super für eine Pause, wrg vom Trubel.

As a Münster resident, I haven't lived in Münster for over 30 years, and it was my first time at Pinkus. Very nice and attentive waitresses. Delicious beer and food.

Poor value for money, non-alcoholic beer tastes like malt beer, extremely sweet.

Went there twice this week with my wife and were very happy with the beer, food and service each time. Yesterday I tried the Müller's Töttchen and today the country bratwurst with fried potatoes and sauerkraut. Both were very good. When it came to beer, I liked the Pinkus Classic a little better than the lager, and my wife liked the Radler. We were served by the same friendly waiter both times.

We sat outside, food simple but tasty, very good waiter and the beer was just good.

We were there with a group. The waitress was very quick and attentive, it was no problem that we arrived later and ordered our drinks while the food was actually being eaten - not a matter of course. She was also able to explain all the dishes 👍 The food was very good.

Great Altbier, friendly and quick service. We'd love to come back. The only downside: €6.10 for two slices of spent grain bread with greaves is quite expensive, but perhaps unfortunately normal in Münster?

The Jubilate is a highlight that you should try. The 15 barrels are really recommended for private use.

Münster's cult pub. Good home cooking and friendly staff in a unique atmosphere. Unfortunately, the Pfefferpothast wasn't on the menu that day. I tried Münsterländer Töttchen. If you come in the evening, you definitely need to make a reservation. It is always very crowded, especially on weekends.

Despite full reservations, we still got a place, which made it clear that we were tourists. We were accommodated in the back and were served by very friendly and attentive staff. Thank you very much for that. If I travel to Münster again, I will definitely come back there with a reservation.

The Pinkus Müller inn is a real gem with a long brewing tradition and history. The atmosphere is very cozy and you can literally feel the centuries-old history of the brewery. The selection of beers is impressive and the traditional dishes are perfectly balanced. An absolute must for anyone who wants to experience real brewery culture!

The restaurant of the Pinkus Müller Brewery is a great place to try traditional Westphalian food, such as Grünkohl mit Mettwurst. As one would expect, they have also a large selection of their beers, some of which being seasonal. Full marks!

The restaurant is and always will be something special. The atmosphere is beautiful if you like rustic old buildings. Watch in disbelief and feel like you've been transported back in time to your grandmother's kitchen table. The food was sooooo delicious. Very typical dishes from Münsterland and Westphalia. The best and freshly prepared. Just great We would like to come back, I recommend!

Very rustic, rather small portions but good beer 🍻

Wenn ich in meiner alten Heimat bin ist es Pflichtprogramm mindestens einmal beim Pinkus rein zu schauen. Mein Vater (geb. 1882) hat mir viel vom alten Pinkus erzählt. So gab es im alten Lokal einen Balken, auf dem mit Kreide Namen und Striche geschrieben wurden. Wenn die Studenten, so wie mein Vater damals auch, kurzzeitig nicht "flüssig" waren, aber Durst hatten, dann hat Pikus sie auf dem "Kreditbalken" sichtbar gemacht.

The burger patty is not handmade, it looks like it is frozen food from the supermarket. Beer is the only good thing.

The Pinkus is one of the local and very established restaurants with its own brewery. The menu reads very traditional, I was more interested in the beer, which comes in several types and flavors. Since the brewing process is carried out by hand using natural ingredients, seasonal beers, for example, never taste quite the same, but the willingness to experiment with new creations can also be encouraged. In addition, a very cozy interior, always recommended!

Perfekte Bedienung - setzt Benchmark! Gute Brauerei-Küche, natürlich hauseigenes Bier. Für uns (10er-Gruppe Ü50) eine klare Empfehlung!

Because the online reviews were so good, we went to Pinkus specifically. We were surprised that we were there alone. A large part of the menu could not be ordered for lunch, so the choice was not great. I ordered a bauernsalad. I was asked if I wanted bread with that, which I did. When the salad arrived I was downright disappointed. A breakfast plate with lettuce, lots of onion rings, with three slices of green-boiled egg. The dressing was from a bottle. The tomato is still hard and unripe. The bread didn't come with butter or anything. I indicated that I expected something different, a little cheese, seeds or meat. The response was: but I still asked if you wanted bread? And that was it. With my glass of spa (there were no soft drinks, the waitress said) this was a very spartan lunch for a lot of money.

I liked everything very much. Food good, beer regional and diverse. Recommended.

Endlich mal wieder die gute alte Pinkus-Atmosphäre. Die Bedienung gut aufgelegt, das Bier süffig, der Wein absolut in Ordnung, fast nur Einheimische. Das Essen von hervorragend bis ging so. Spießbraten und Matjes weniger empfehlenswert, Haxe und Blutwurst exzellent. Alles in allem ein klasse Abend. 👍

A super nice atmosphere with nice service and a great beer selection. The food is tasty but doesn't blow your mind, especially in terms of price/performance ratio.

Before the little tour to Münster, I put the following items on my list. Drinking coffee at the Dutchman's, spices, great hunger and Pinkus Müller. First of all, a small Pilsken, nice and hoppy, then the decision between sausage platter or pepperpotthas, both very tasty. Service as always quick and friendly. I held back from the second Pilsken because of the car. 😎

Finally Pinkus again. Hardly any tourists, but the good old atmosphere. This is something that is close to our hearts as original Münster residents. Eating from top (knuckle) to just like that (spit roast). In addition to great beer, there's even some pretty good wine.
