We were in the restaurant on June 1st, 2024 with 6 people. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The mixed starter plate was rich and tasty. And the pasta dishes are probably good too. I had, among other things, a pizza. The toppings on the two pizzas we ordered were ok. But the dough was probably the worst I've ever had (Italian) local. Burnt black all over and no impression of a fluffy pizza yeast dough. Thin and very firm. More like a TK Convinience product. A pity.

Dear people, no critical person can understand these reviews! Six of us were there for the first time yesterday. A single catastrophe! The table still had a baguette from the previous person, no candle, no cutlery. After 20 minutes we asked if we could maybe order something to drink. We didn't need to ask for wine recommendations, as there was no competent answer, although the menu was rather clear in this regard. After half an hour we had our first drink. After another 20 minutes we had to ask if someone could take the food order. The 4 pasta dishes looked like they had been slapped on the plate! Not decorated in the slightest, the carbonara was floating in the sauce, the parmesan was just thrown on top without asking (it's actually usual in a separate bowl so you can choose the amount yourself or maybe not at all). The plates aren't even deep as usual, but a normal one Plates where you couldn't even turn the noodles on properly. We had to run after the second drinks with the meal and they only came long after we had finished the food. The salmon fried on the skin wasn't crispy, but rather wobbly. My veal schnitzel also had a rather wobbly consistency. It was also not possible to bring 6 dishes at the same time, my meat dish only came when everyone else had already finished eating. Unfortunately, we also had that with the fish and meat dish The same steamed vegetables as on the appetizer plate and this didn't look particularly nice, more like everything was randomly cut into small pieces, sometimes large, sometimes small, sometimes like leftover pieces. We had to run after the dessert again and it wasn't possible to have the hot drinks with it To bring tiramisu. To pay we had to go to the counter because once again the only waitress didn't come. If you had come more often, we would certainly have drunk 2 bottles of wine and 3 bottles of water, which actually brings in more money. We also never had cutlery when the food came and had to call after them. It was also incredibly loud and you could hardly have a conversation. It may be quaint, old and cozy, but here all the decorations were somehow crammed onto the small shelves or on the window sills and if you looked closely you could see everything covered in a thick layer of dust. There's this terrible artificial ivy everywhere, which even grandma doesn't have anymore and is completely out of date and covered in dust. This is a student bar for beginners and if you want to eat a cozy Italian meal, you should perhaps go to Pasta e 'Basta, Lumina or Costa Esmeralda, to name a few examples, but never here in this location, which is completely bad in every respect unless you don't know anything better!!!!

Always a real treat... wild boar with pomegranate sauce, my wife and I love this way of feasting in a wonderful ambience... where you are greeted with a handshake by the boss himself, so my favorite when it comes to Italian cuisine in Münster !!!!

We had reserved a table for 5 people. The five of us didn't have enough space at the reserved table. Things weren't much better at the table we were assigned. Then the wine list was brought, The third wine we chose was there too. Some of the bruschettas were not cooked through and the tomatoes, for example, were not diced correctly. Of the four pizzas ordered, one came wrong. The Involtino with potatoes I ordered was brought with cold gnocchi. After the complaint, potatoes were brought unsalted. The Involtino is really sour and totally salty, the meat is laced with tendons. So I didn't eat it. According to the waitress, the sour taste came from the wine in the sauce. Then after we paid and asked for a round of liquor, As a small compensation, tell us that the service is not possible would be. Then the innkeeper and cook made their appearance.4 He explained that everything was fine and that it was basically a cheek to ask for a schnapps. If we had seen the landlord/chef beforehand we would definitely have gone to another restaurant. Conclusion The worst restaurant in a very long time. Schönes, uriges Ambiente und freundliches Personal. Die Antipasti und Nudelgerichte sind uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen! Gute Weinauswahl. Wer mit dem Auto anreist: in unmittelbarer Nähe sind Parkplätze kaum vorhanden, daher empfiehlt es sich, etwas weiter weg zu parken und zu Fuß (oder mit dem Fahrrad) zu kommen.

Ast rein beste klein Restaurant weit und breit, seit Jahre unsere Stamm Restaurant...

Toller kleiner Italiener, sehr freundlich und persönlich. Schon das Brot als Gruß aus der Küche schmeckt sehr lecker und ist frisch und knusprig. Die Gorgonzola-Bruschetta ist optisch sehr lieblos, das könnte man definitiv verbessern, ansonsten geschmacklich gut, ebenso die restlichen gewählten Speisen. Service ist sehr bemüht und flink, witzig und hilfsbereit. Definitiv zu empfehlen.

Sehr leckeres Essen, aufmerksame und freundliche Bedienung, gemütliches Ambiente, bezahlbare Preise.

Die Küche ist sehr gut. Die Pizza habe ich noch nicht probiert, aber es gibt 1a Pasta und vor kurzem habe ich ein extrem leckeres Lammgericht verputzt. Leider ist der Service verbesserungswürdig bzw stellenweise unorganisiert: letztens haben wir keinen Tisch mehr bekommen, obwohl wir reserviert haben. Das Essen ist aber so gut, dass man trotzdem 5/5 Sternen geben muss!

Wir waren gut zufrieden. Die Antipasti vorab waren sehr gut und die von mir bestellte Pasta ebenfalls. Auch der Service war freundlich und bemüht. Man merkt dem Service aber an, das da noch Luft nach oben ist. Insgesamt aber ein italienisches Restaurant zum empfehlen.

Ein kleines, aber feines Restaurant mit freundlicher Bedienung und wirklich köstlichem Essen - wir kommen gerne wieder!

Es ist immer wieder ein Fest der Sinne bei euch zu essen... Man kommt als anderer Mensch aus eurem Restaurant... Und eure Panna Cotta hat mehr als 5 Sterne verdient!!!

Für mich immer noch eines der besten italienischen Restaurants in Münster und mein persönliches Lieblingsrestaurant. Eine kleine, wundervolle und gemütliche Location mit nur wenigen Sitzplätzen. Kleine Karte und frische Tageskarte. Faire Preise. Der italienische Chef, Antonio, kocht seit jeher selber und das macht auch das Besondere aus! Irgendwie einzigartig! Herzliche Dank für jeden Abend!

Mal wieder bei Antonio, das Essen, der Service und die Atmosphäre, wenn auch 80th wie einige meinen, super seit 15 Jahren sind wir nie enttäuscht worden

Sehr schmackhaft zubereitetes und leckeres Essen. Die Antipastiplatte und die Gerichte, die wir bestellt haben, waren deftig und sättigend. Die Weinkarte ist übersichtlich und gut. Das helle Bier war auch in Ordnung. Die Bedienung war freundlich und nett. Leider ist das Platzangebot sehr begrenzt. Ansonsten wirkt der Laden sehr gemütlich und authentisch. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! Update 04.09.22: Das Essen ist wie immer lecker. Allerdings war das Bier katastrophal. Das Pils (San Miguel) und das Weizen (König Ludwig) haben nicht geschmeckt! Bei beiden war eine deutliche Säure- und eine Art Schwefelnote zu schmecken. Das deutet auf eine ungenügende Hygiene bei der Pflege der Zapfanlage hin. Beim vorletzten mal hatte ich ein Helles und das war lecker. Hier herrscht dringender Handlungsbedarf!

Ein absoluter Geheimtipp! das Restaurant macht wenig Werbung, liegt etwas versteckt am Schlosspark - aber es braucht auch keine Werbung, denn Gutes setzt sich durch! Netter Service, lauschige Atmosphäre, überschaubare Karte mit aktuellen Gerichten (und nicht zig Gerichte wie woanders), originelle italienische Küche, die noch raffiniert wurde. Wenn ich könnte, würde ich jeden Tag dort essen 👄👌

Pizza war sehr lecker. Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Gericht von der Tafel, Rumpsteak mit grünem Spargel und lt. Tafel Kartoffeln, wurde aber mit hervorragenden dünnen Band-Nudeln serviert. Fleisch auf den Punkt und sehr zart, Spargel al dente. War sehr sehr gut und das Geld wert.

Super authentisches italienisches Restaurant mit sehr sehr leckerem Essen. Egal ob Pizza, Pasta oder Risotto - ich bin immer wieder begeistert. Auch vom ausgesprochen freundlichen Personal. Ich komme gerne immer wieder vorbei und freue mich schon aufs nächste Mal!

Früher ein Geheimtipp, heute ohne Reservierung keinen Platz. Aus gutem Grund ...

Pizza ehr durchschnittlich, die Spaghetti Weltklasse. Daher hätte ich für das Restaurant eigentlich 4 Sterne vergeben. Allerdings sind die Wartezeiten (40 Minuten für den Gruß aus der Küche *kaltes Baguette /Brotkorb * weiter 40 Minuten für die bestellte Vorspeise *tomatenschnittchen* und weitere 50 min für Hauptgang *Nudel+Pizza * einfach viel zu lang!

Ein kleines gemütliches Restaurant. Es gibt dort feines italienisches Essen. Sehr, sehr lecker.

Wirklich beeindruckend ist es, wie es im recht kleinen, aber meist proppenvollen und oft eher lauten Restaurant Il Borgo eine einzige Kellnerin schafft, den Service für das gesamte Restaurant zu stemmen. Reservierungen im Voraus - speziell bei einem großen Familientreffen - sind zwingend notwendig. Ansonsten könnte es passieren, keinen Tisch / Platz zu bekommen. Als Vorspeisen sind gleich mehrere Bruschette sehr zu empfehlen. Beim vegetarischen oder nicht-vegetarischen Hauptgang kommen sowohl die Pasta- als auch die Pizza-Liebhaber*innen auf ihre Kosten. Dank einer guten Weinberatung und eines sehr fixen Services genossen alle Teilnehmenden den Abend. Die Dessertkarte sah wirklich verlockend aus, aber nach der Vorspeise, dem Hauptgang und mehreren Gläsern Wein war uns der Genuss eines Nachtisches definitiv nicht mehr möglich. Aber bestimmt beim nächsten Besuch!
