Gaststätte Nordwind in Trassenheide

My wife is in rehab in Trassenheide, and we were looking for something good to eat. We didn't have a reservation, but we still managed to get a table for two. My wife is very particular about food, having learned it herself. She had herring with fried potatoes and loved it. The fried potatoes were fresh, and the dressing was fantastic. I ordered schnitzel with a fried egg and fries, and I can also say that the schnitzel was very tender, the fried egg was okay, and the fries were amazing. Both meals were well under €20 each, which isn't a given these days. One small drawback: there aren't many restrooms; if it's full, you'll have to wait in line. Nevertheless, we highly recommend this restaurant.

However, I have to say that if I'm spending €170 in a restaurant, it would be nice if the staff could be distinguished from the guests arriving from the beach by their clothing. Because for me, that's part of a well-groomed restaurant's exterior.

I arrived spontaneously on Saturday, right when the restaurant opened (daily from 4:30 p.m.), and received a warm welcome. The food was exceptionally delicious and also very appealing. I had the chicken and salmon salad with tagliatelle and spinach leaves. I'll definitely be back.

A visit this year was no comparison to last year. Prices are a little higher compared to other places, which would still be acceptable if the portions were right. Despite everything, the food was really good.

We went there for dinner without a reservation and got a good seat straight away. The service seemed a bit distant to us at first, but we got our order quite quickly, despite the obvious understaffing. Cod with parsley potatoes and leaf spinach... simply delicious and a very good version from the chef. Only the menu would be better presented and would give the good dish an appropriate presentation. Overall worth recommending.

My husband and I were thrilled with the vegetarian and vegan food (Mediterranean pasta and aglio olio)! As a vegetarian, it's not always easy to find something tasty in the area (beyond pizza), but here we were extremely positively surprised. We were served very nicely, we sat outside and relaxed and the taste far exceeded our expectations.

A few days ago I had a spontaneous meal in a restaurant with my family. Unfortunately we had to wait a long time for our drinks. It was noticed that the staff was understaffed. The young “man” who served us was really trying, but the waitress was totally stressed and talked to him in a tone that was not right at all. We sat right next to the counter and unfortunately you could hear everything. We have a lot of understanding, but when the waitress comes with the children's food and more or less slams it on the table and says, it doesn't matter where I put it, my understanding is also used up. The food wasn't really good either. After the whole thing, we didn't have high expectations anymore anyway. And the more guests came, the more stressed the waitress became. I really felt sorry for the money I had to leave behind. It just wasn't worth it. Really a shame.

We were very satisfied. Friendly and courteous staff. The food was very tasty. I ate by far the best pasta with Gorgonzola sauce here. The fish was also really tasty. The restaurant has a cozy interior. Definitely something special thanks to the beach chair and the tree in the interior.

2024: The food was average and unspectacular. The schnitzel was a typical frozen product that was prepared in the deep fryer and the pepper sauce was watery. The fish plate was very sparse for the price, especially with only three shared potatoes. Overall, two dishes of this size and quality were completely overpriced for around €42.00. We wouldn't eat there again. 2019: Good food, friendly service. The portions could be larger.

Based on the reviews so far, we decided to order food for home here. Unfortunately we were blinded. Hamburger Schnitzel was the cheapest frozen product (formed meat). It doesn't work at all. My wife's soggy pasta was swimming in olive oil. The vegetables were added carelessly raw. A pity!!

Since the restaurant wasn't far from the accommodation, we went there. Small, cozy beer garden... that's about it for the positive impressions. We were assigned a table...ok. The waitress came and slapped us with two wooden boards...the worn menus...should be replaced. stains and much more. Court: 1 Schnitzel with champions, French fries. The champion sauce wasn't a hit. Court :2 A pasta dish in a small deep plate with plenty of salad in the warm meal... only the cook knows what that was supposed to be?? The much emphasized expressions of friendliness...that is probably greatly exaggerated. The young lady didn't radiate that.

Toll, toll, toll! Super aufmerksame Wirtsleute, schnelle und freundliche Bedienung, super leckeres Essen zu absolut fairen Preisen. Jeder Teller, den ich hab zurück in die Küche gehen sehen war leer - es scheint also nicht nur uns geschmeckt zu haben. Kleine Notiz am Rand: selbst die Toiletten waren sehr sauber, trotz viel Publikumsverkehr. Hat man auch nicht oft. Unbedingt reservieren, selbst 2er-Grüppchen sind wieder weg geschickt worden weil alles voll war (unter der Woche 17:30 Uhr, aber Ferienzeit).

Wir kommen seit 7 Jahren, immer wenn wir an der Ostsee sind, hier her und es ist unser Lieblingsrestaurant geworden. Das Essen schmeckt immer super. Die Bedienung ist freundlich und zuvorkommend und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Da das Restaurant immer sehr gut besucht ist, ist es ratsam im Vorraus einen Tisch zu reservieren. Wir werden auch in Zukunft bei unserem Ostseeurlaub immer wieder gern her kommen.

Wir waren während unseres Urlaubs 2x im Nordwind. Die Wirtsleute sind super freundlich, und man merkt, dass sie ein eingespieltes Team sind. Getränke und Essen kommen schnell, alles schmeckt gut. Besonders empfehlenswert ist der Gurkensalat, der sehr gut schmeckt. Obwohl immer fast alle Tische reserviert sind, geben sich die Wirtsleute Mühe, einen dazwischen zu schieben, wenn man ohne Reservierung kommt.

Wir haben nachmittags, vom Strand aus, online einen Tisch reserviert - schonmal Top! Es gibt einen angenehmen Außenbereich aber auch innen genügend Platz. Parkmöglichkeiten sind vorhanden. Sehr freundliches Personal bedient Sie gern - so unser Eindruck. Wir hatten Lachsfilet, Zanderfilet und argentinisches Hüftsteak. Diese drei Mahlzeiten haben uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Es ist kein Sterne-Restaurant - das sollte jeder Rezensent erkennen. Trotzdem gibt es von uns hier Fünf Sterne - weil eben Alles sehr gut zusammengepasst hat. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder! Etwas abseits gelegen aber in schöner Atmosphäre kann man richtig lecker Essen und wird von freundlichem Personal betreut.

Wir hatten reserviert und uns wurde auch gleich unser Tisch gezeigt. Die Karte kam sehr schnell und auch die Bestellung wurde sehr schnell serviert. Der Kellner hat auch gut auf leere Gläser reagiert. Das Lokal ist schlicht und sauber. Wir hatten 1x Lachs mit Spinat und Bandnudeln, 1x Fischteller mit Lachs, Dorsch und Zander, Petersilienkartoffeln und Spinat. Leider hatte ich den Eindruck dass der Fisch aus der Fritteuse kam. Übergart und trocken. Ich hätte lieber länger als 10 Minuten gewartet und dafür bessere Zubereitung. Schade, der Fisch ist 2x gestorben.

Hervorragendes frisch zubereitetes Essen. Allerdings muss man etwas Zeit mitbringen. Wir haben ungefähr 45 Minuten auf unser Essen gewartet. Wermutstropfen: trotz Reservierung für 19 Uhr, einer Wartezeit von 45 Minuten auf die Hauptspeise, wurde beim Bestellen der Nachspeise darauf hingewiesen, dass die Küche um 20 Uhr schließt. Dafür einen Punkt Abzug.

Waren wiedermal hier und sehr zufrieden! Jetzt in der Winterzeit hat das Personal auch mal Zeit für einen Schwatz. Essen Service und Ambiente alles gut.

Waren hier abends noch eine Pizza essen. Die Scampi Pizza war zwar mit Knoblauch angesagt, hatte davon selbst für Knoblauchliebhaber wie uns erheblich zu viel. Das war einfach viel zuviel des Guten. Ansonsten beide Pizzen eher mässig für den Preis.

Gutbürgerliche Küche, hauptsächlich Fisch und Schnitzel. Leider wie vielerorts in Usedom nicht sehr gut auf Vegetarier ausgerichtet.Personal sehr nett, aufmerksam und flott unterwegs. Feines Eis!

Im Nordwind haben wir eine ausgezeichnete Küche erlebt. Freundliches Personal. Schnelle Bedienung. Auch zur Kaffeezeit lohnt sich eine Einkehr.

Wir besuchten die Lokalität in unserem Winterurlaub. Im Gastraum befinden sich mehrere Strandkörbe, welche sich als Alternative zu den auch vorhandenen Stühlen anbieten. Wenn auch einfach eingerichtet, wurden wir hier zweimal bestens bedient und gut bekocht. 😊🍻

Wir waren zum Abendessen hier und hatten alle Fischgerichte. Die Qualität des Essens ist ausgezeichnet und inklusive der Beilagen sehr liebevoll zubereitet. Die Teller sich auch für das Auge sehr schön hergerichtet. Der Service ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Terasse ist sehr schön mit Strandkörben gestaltet. Man spürt, dass hier auch auf das Detail geachtet wird. In der Saison auf jeden Fall reservieren, das Restaurant ist sehr beliebt.

Wir waren gestern als Familie im Nordwind zum Abendbrot. Jetzt in der Hauptsaison kann ich nur jedem empfehlen einen Tisch zu reservieren. Das Essen ist reichlich und lecker. Die Kinderportionen sind auch genug. Ein leckeres Essen, schönes Ambiente. Wir kommen gerne wieder
