Ein Versuch nur etwas gemütlich zu trinken und sich mit Freunden im Restaurant zu treffen ist gescheitert. Wir wurden nicht bedient und hinausgeworfen, da wir nichts essen wollten.

We had a fantastic meal there today, everything was delicious, the staff were very attentive and friendly. The best thing was that our daughter with celiac disease could eat everything (she couldn't order 3 things: croquettes, cordon bleu and pickled herrings...all other things could be cooked gluten-free for her. It was clear that they knew each other very well there It looked good, even when it came to dessert, they made sure that she didn't have a waffle, it was pure luxury, she couldn't really decide what to eat, unfortunately you rarely have this choice.

We were very surprised to find a restaurant where many of the dishes were gluten-free. It was very, very tasty.

We went to Gurnard for dinner with friends in October 2024 for my husband's birthday. The whole team was in such a great mood and the food was so delicious that we reserved a table for the next evening. A thank you for the great evening. In this restaurant with its friendly team, the focus is not only on the guest but also on animal welfare.

We eat here twice now. The staff is super friendly and the price/performance ratio is really great. Even if you just want a sweet treat, this is the place for you. The baked apple rings are very tasty and the Kaiserschmarrn is a dream 🥰 If you want to go out for dinner, you should reserve a table in good time Addendum: when I ate there for the third time, I noticed that if there were fresh champions on the menu, they should be fresh and not from a jar. The boss then came rushing out of the kitchen and told me I had no idea or was trying to kid him. Very unprofessional. I didn't ask for my money back or anything, I just said that it shouldn't be on the card. It's a shame because the staff here is otherwise super nice

Unfortunately we only found this very good restaurant at the end of our vacation. The quality and craftsmanship were absolutely top notch. Will definitely come back. Reservations are urgently necessary and sensible. Keep it up.

Great restaurant near the beach! The food is absolutely top and there is something for everyone! The service is very nice and attentive. However, you should make a reservation if possible because it is not too huge.

We were at Gurnrahn for dinner on September 26th, 2024. Luckily we had made a reservation by phone as almost all the tables were occupied. After a short wait we were served by a friendly waitress. Our ordered drinks were quickly at our place. The selection of dishes was diverse. Despite the restaurant being full, we didn't have to wait too long for our food. The quality and quantity of the food we ordered left nothing to be desired. ( Great ) The Knurrhahn restaurant in Trassenheide is a must on our next visit to Usedom. Many thanks to the Gurnard team.

I, as a single guest, was sent away because I didn't reserve a place. 😢. A group after me, with 10 people registered, came with an additional 2 people, because the 2 were more okay.😠 Spontaneity was a thing! First time in Trassenheide and also the last time.

Very friendly staff. We had barely sat down when a waitress came and brought our dog a bowl of water and treats. We felt very comfortable and welcome. The food was very tasty. A lovely evening at the "Gurnard". If you weren't here, you're missing out.

When we asked in a friendly manner whether there was a place available for our family, we only received a short, succinct answer that we had to make a reservation 4 days in advance. A table even became free at that moment, but the waitress wasn't interested either. There is probably no interest in families with children here. If the food is as good as the service, it was probably better that we went a few places further. At least we received friendly service there and the food was great and cheaper too. In any case, the snarl won't see us anymore.

We were deeply disappointed with our visit to the Knurrhahn restaurant. As soon as we arrived we were greeted in an extremely unfriendly manner. When we asked if there was a place available for 6 people, a waitress greeted us with a smile and said: “We are full, you have to make a reservation four days in advance.” We rarely have such a condescending tone and rude behavior experienced. The staff overall seemed unfriendly and uninviting. Such service is unacceptable and leaves a bitter aftertaste. We had high expectations of the Knurrhahn restaurant, especially since the menu seemed really inviting, but we were completely disappointed. We definitely won't go here again and can't recommend it to anyone. There were far more inviting restaurants in the area, where we received a friendly welcome. Actually worth 0 stars!

Reservations are recommended in the evening. When I went there early, I got a reserved table that was still available for 90 minutes, very friendly staff. Fresh cream mushrooms with potato rostis and a salad bouquet worked like this. The salad bouquet was obviously already prepared or bought that way and was very small. Too bad.

We just asked if we wanted to drink 2-3 beers after eating... Two fellow patients from the neighboring rehabilitation clinic had enough and left voluntarily before eating. The dishes were great and tasty, but there was a problem with my order, it wasn't what I ordered...! Since I wanted to eat with the other remaining people, I skipped it and ate this. The waitress, who works full-time at the clinic and therefore knows us, went out of her way to look after us. Much to the dismay of the operator, who whistled at them in front of all the guests in a tone that bordered on being a serious insult! I think because of the really good location he is so sure of his income that he can perform like this...? I fell in love with Usedom during my rehabilitation stay and will definitely vacation there too. However, the gurnard will never see me again!

We talked to other holidaymakers about our plans to stop at the Gurnrahn. They already advised us against it because of the poor service. But since the menu appealed to us, we are always very open-minded. Unfortunately we now have to agree with the other holidaymakers. When we entered the terrace and sat down at an uncovered table, we were asked not to sit there and a reserved sign was immediately placed. When I asked where there was room for us, they looked at us in disbelief and left us standing there stupidly. Service like this is simply underground. We then went to the Italian restaurant on the promenade and ate there in a friendly atmosphere and great quality. The gurnard will never be allowed to welcome us as a guest.

Six of us (three couples) were here at Pentecost and had a wonderful evening. We've been looking for such friendly service and such delicious food in Berlin for a long time! The fish soup was particularly delicious. It was no problem at all to swap ingredients when ordering. The namesake gurnard was also crispy and yet tender and NOT dry on the inside. A visit is worth it just for the fried potatoes 😆

We have eaten there every year at Pentecost since 2010 and have never been disappointed. What should be emphasized is the consistency of the good food and the cleanliness of the restaurant.

We were here today because of the many positive reviews. And yes, we didn't make a reservation. (Off-season) Luckily we still got a place. But now to the food. We once had plaice and chicken cordon bleue, both of which were top. Very good quality, the salad with it was fresh. The plaice was on point. The staff, the two ladies, were very friendly. We can recommend the restaurant and please reserve in advance.

We were a group of 7 students. We were all rejected with extreme arrogance and unfriendliness. We all behaved well and entered the store with a friendly "Good evening, do you still have 7 seats available?" The rejection doesn't bother me. But this unfriendliness and arrogance is really an outrage. Does staff believe that students are not entitled to some basic respect?

I expected better. These employees do not feed young people. Me and 6 other classmates were very excited and had the idea of ​​eating something at the Gurnard. We are all friendly, decent young people who only had hunger and food on our minds. Unfortunately, after asking if there was still room for 7 lovely people, we were turned away. Sure, we arrived an hour before closing time, but which one Juice shop runs out of food at times like this? I wonder why there are such employees who refer other customers. The service and food were great!!! You immediately had the feeling that there were people working here who enjoyed their job and that every guest was valued. We ordered the gurnard and a rump steak. The fish dish tasted fantastic and the steak was tender and cooked to perfection (medium rare). The restaurant is a real recommendation and we will come back. The boss and the waitresses were very friendly and also found the time for a little chat.

For us one of the best restaurants. Highly Recommended! The staff is very attentive, helpful and friendly. Yes, almost family-like. The food is delicious. We have been guests here several times. From the currywurst to the pork fillet to the fish plate. It's all a pleasure. And the nice thing is, you get full of it too. Even the dog likes to come here because there is water, treats and a kind word for him. It is definitely recommended to reserve a table (it always worked for us at short notice / low season).

Unfortunately no food is possible at 7 p.m.!! When asked if we could still eat, the landlord replied, no, we're closing and now, like the train, 35 hours and 4 days a week!! You don't have to wonder why no one comes anymore but goes 35 km further into Poland!!! NOTE 6 not recommended!!!

The food was very good, the service was motivated and committed. Unfortunately, this cannot be said about the owner of the restaurant. Unfortunately, my understanding of an "unpleasant" situation during our visit decreased permanently as time went on. Only guests who have food and a drink are welcome. Guests who stay longer and drink one or two drinks (including alcoholic ones) are obviously not welcome. A statement made by a person in our group was used by the owner as an opportunity to threaten “all of us” with expulsion. I paid 80 euros for food and drinks, actually no problem because the food and drinks were very good. Unfortunately, due to the behavior of the owner, it was a wasted evening... and therefore "wasted money". What a shame!!!!

Restaurant angeblich 3 Tage lang zu jeder Zeit ausgebucht und Essen zum mitnehmen schaffe man auch nicht. Sowas hab ich wirklich noch nie erlebt.

Die Restaurantbetreiber haben keinen Stern verdient. Wir wurden äußerst unfreundlich abgewiesen. Für ein "Guten Tag" reichte es auch nicht. Für mich erscheint es sehr erstaunlich wie es zu den anderen 5-Sterne-Bewertungen kommt. Nach meiner negativen Erfahrung kann ich nur von einem Besuch abraten.

Zum Essen kam es nicht, ab 19:00 Uhr hat diese Bedienung abends wenig Ehrgeiz Gäste zu bedienen. Wir 3 Gäste und noch 2 weitere Gäste wurden bei leerem Lokal „ignoriert“ und dann abgewiesen. Wir sind leider keine Einzelfälle:-/. Service kenne ich viel netter!

Man findet immer Perlen in der alten Heimat. Wir kommen sicher wieder, wenn es auch immer dauert bis wir wieder in die Heimat kommen. Tolle Küche, tolles Team in häuslicher Atmosphäre.
