Das Essen war sehr lecker und reichhaltig , die Bedienung freundlich. Beim Ambiente könnte es etwas maritimer sein so nah nah am Wasser. Ne frische Blume 🌷 am Tisch wäre auch schön.

Wir waren in 3 Tagen, 3 mal dort essen. Das Essen war total lecker und das Personal sehr freundlich. Wenn wir in der Gegend nochmal Urlaub machen sollten, wüssten wir, wo wir Essen gehen können.

Super leckeres Essen, klasse Service. Wir waren dort mit unseren Kindern. Für diese gibt es ungefragt Stifte und ein Malbuch, sowie eine separate Spielecke. Preis ist völlig okay. Eine Reservieung ist notwendig, da das Restaurant immer voll ist.

Ich hatte einen rundum tollen Besuch in diesem Restaurant! Das Essen war wirklich hervorragend – alles frisch, geschmacklich top und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Besonders angenehm fand ich die übersichtliche Speisekarte, die die Auswahl erleichtert und für Qualität statt Masse spricht. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön und lädt zum Wohlfühlen ein. Man merkt sofort, dass hier Wert auf eine angenehme Atmosphäre gelegt wird. Der Empfang war außerdem ausgesprochen herzlich, sodass ich mich direkt willkommen gefühlt habe. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist die Kinderfreundlichkeit – auch Familien sind hier bestens aufgehoben. Und ein großer Pluspunkt: Hunde dürfen mit ins Lokal, was heutzutage nicht selbstverständlich ist. Ich komme auf jeden Fall gerne wieder!

Waren nach einem Jahr mal wieder hier und wir waren wieder 100% zufrieden. Alles war Top und als wir einen Tag später nochmal hier Essen wollte sorgte der Chef dafür das wir auch noch einen Tisch bekamen. Hier noch die Bewertung vom letzten Jahr: Der Service und das Essen waren super !!! Man hatte sofort das Gefühl das hier Leute arbeiten die ihren Job gerne machen und jeder Gast geschätzt wurde. Wir bestellten den Knurrhahn und ein Rumpsteak. Das Fischgericht schmeckte fantastisch und das Steak war zart und auf den Punkt(Medium) zubereitet. Das Restaurant ist eine echte Empfehlung und wir kommen wieder. Der Chef und die Kellnerinnen waren sehr freundlich und fanden auch die Zeit für einen kleines Gespräch

Lecker Fisch mit Schmoorgurken, ein tolles Gericht aus meiner Kindheit, selbst gemacht. War super lecker. Beim Wein durften wir testen, bevor wir bestellten. Prima. Saale Unstrut Weine sind selten an der Küste, hier gibt's eine gute Auswahl. Alles in Allem: unbedingt reservieren, sonst voll.

In der Nebensaison (Hauptsaison können wir nicht beurteilen - uns scheinen jedoch die negativen Bewertungen dazu teils wirklich sinnfrei und von persönlicher Kränkung untermauert, als mit Substanz und Qualität bezüglich des Essesns gefüllt). Wir waren mit Kleinkind und Hund absolut willkommen (wo gibt es noch Kinderecken?) Das Essen? Riesig: Scholle, Pub a la Pub, Matjes, Knurrhahn, Tortellini) richtig toll (und erst die Fischkartoffeln) . Service? Ab Telefon bis vor Ort: ganz toll- alle 3 Damen, die mit uns „zu tun hatten“ richtig nett auch der nette Herr hinterm Thresen. Die Seekarten an den Wänden für Interessierte ein spannendes Relikt. Schön war es bei Euch!!!

Ich bin spontan ins Restaurant und hatte Glück das ein Tisch kurz vorher frei geworden ist.. die junge Bedienung war sehr freundlich, die Fischsuppe war sehr lecker und das Rumpsteak war sehr gut gebraten!! Auch die Backkartoffel war sehr schmackhaft und selbst hergestellt, aber der Kräuterquark hätte ein wenig mehr gewürzt sein können ;) ansonsten werde ich euch bei unseren Gästen gern weiter empfehlen

Langsamstes Restaurant Deutschlands nach Benno‘s in Lübbenau, schrecklich!

Am 30.12. Nachmittags eingekehrt weil Werbung für Waffeln mit Eis und Co gemacht wurde. Abgesehen von der freundlichen Bedienung ist es nicht zu empfehlen. Der Kaffee kam sofort, die Waffeln 20 min später. Warum auch immer! Die Waffeln waren klitschig und die Kirschen lauwarm. Also Waffeln mit heißen Kirschen geht besser. Darum nur 2 Sterne. Andreas K.

Wir haben angerufen und noch einen Tisch bekommen. Reservierung ist hier immer erforderlich. Die Bedingungen war nett und hilfsbereit. Wir saßen unten,da war es leider kalt. Das Essen war ,wie immer sehr lecker, auch wenn die Portionen ,gefühlt, immer kleiner werden. Hunde dürfen mit ins Restaurant.

Absolut empfehlenswert. Die Speisen waren alle sehr lecker. Zudem ein sehr freundliches, aufmerksames und kinderliebes Personal.

Wir sind hier mit 9 Personen unangemeldet einmaschiert und haben alle etwas anderes gegessen. Was soll ich sagen, es hat alles gut geschmeckt. Vor allem die Currywurst war sehr lecker. Die beiden Bedienungen waren mega nett und sehr schnell. Extrem viel Nachtisch zur Auswahl, da viel die Auswahl schwer. Wir kommen wieder.

Es war wieder ein sehr gutes Essen. Die Freundlichkeit und der Service sind top. Bitte immer dort reservieren, egal zu welcher Zeit man Urlaub macht . Danke schön für eure Gastfreundlichkeit.

Jedes Jahr zu Pfingsten fahren wir seit ein paar Jahren an die Ostsee und gehen immer seit Eröffnung der Gaststätte im Knurrhahn essen.Immer gleichbleibend gute Qualität und eine hervorragende Sauberkeit.Da ist uns auch der Fußmarsch von Zinnowitz nach Trassenheide nicht zu weit. Auch in diesem Jahr (Okt.2025) waren wir zufrieden mit dem Essen und es ist alles ordentlich und sauber wie vor 15 Jahren zur Erhöhung. In der Woche Urlaub waren wir 3x Abendessen, die Fischgerichte kann ich nur empfehlen. Reservierung ist notwendig, aber auch kein Problem.

Das Essen war bombastisch lecker! Noch nie haben wir eine so gute Fischsuppe gegessen. Vielen dank für den tollen letzten Moment im Urlaub:) Hätten wir früher gewusst das es bei euch so gut schmeckt, wären wir jeden Tag gekommen. Zudem wurde super mit unserem Kleinkind umgegangen, vielen dank für dieses seltene respektvolle und liebevolle umgehen mit den Kunden. Ihr habt noch mehr Aufmerksamkeit verdient. Das Essen war sehr sehr lecker, so wie der Service absolute Freundlichkeit. Das war wirklich sehr angenehm und ein unglaublich Familienfreundliches Unternehmen. Kinder und Hund sind sehr wilkommen und sind nur Gäste da die auch Kinder und Hunde tollerieren. Ich kann es wirklich nur sehr sehr empfehlen. Meine Familie und ich haben haben uns wirklich sehr drüber gefreut. Jederzeit gerne wieder und preis war auch sehr Fair.

Stopped in for lunch on a whim. The food was truly delicious. The service, the atmosphere, and the atmosphere were top-notch. Highly recommended. If you want to eat there in the evening, be sure to make a reservation.

A very, very good restaurant. We've been coming here for years. The food is simply delicious and the price/performance ratio is absolutely reasonable. 😌👍

When we arrived (4:30 p.m.), we were greeted very rudely: "Well, girls, what's up?" That was the reaction when we asked if a table for five was available. We were told very rudely that everything had been reserved weeks in advance; we should have known that. We were just day tourists. That was very cheeky. We preferred to go to the Italian restaurant around the corner, and there we were greeted very nicely and friendly.

Super friendly and understanding staff. A real option for gluten-free food, which is also absolutely delicious. With very few exceptions, the dishes on the menu can be prepared gluten-free. According to the staff, they have their own kitchenette for gluten-free preparation. Definitely recommended. They have gained a new regular customer in us. We've already made a reservation for next time. A.K.'s recommendation: definitely call and make a reservation.

We were lucky twice to get a table without a reservation. We sat outside. There were many guests with dogs outside. So it's best to pre-order. According to an older employee, it's best to make a reservation from home before you go on vacation. We enjoyed our meal.

The gurnard and other varieties are very tasty. The staff is friendly and competent.

We discovered it by chance and think it's simply fantastic 😍 We think it's great that the animals and the children are served first. The animals are given water, and the children are given something beautiful to paint 👍😍 We had a school enrollment in Brandenburg today and went there for dinner. Everything was just super, super nice. We had a beautifully decorated table, and our little girl even got a little school cone as a gift 😍 Thank you so much again to all the staff there who contributed to our unforgettable day 😍😍

This family-run restaurant is ideal for enjoying local and German cuisine. It offers a good selection of food and drinks. The service is very friendly and attentive. All the dishes taste delicious. One small point for improvement would be the presentation of the dishes, but this is really only minor. The value for money is definitely good. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The people who work there have a very unfriendly attitude towards customers. We tried to get a table there four days ago. We were turned away each time. Today on the phone, we were told that if we could get a table, we should come immediately. We arrived in five minutes and were turned away again. There were several tables available on site, but there were no reserved signs. When we called yesterday, the person on the phone laughed and said in a very rude tone that there were no spaces left, that we should have booked much earlier, and simply hung up. I don't think it's right to treat people like that. Unfortunately, we can't comment on the food, as we couldn't try it because there were no seats available.

We've been coming here for years. The food is modern and really good, with a clear focus on fish dishes.

When I asked if a table for 8 people was available, Instead of a simple, friendly answer, I was laughed at and asked if I was "teasing" the gentleman. I found this reaction extremely disrespectful and condescending. I would like to emphasize that a simple "Unfortunately, no" would have been perfectly sufficient.

As mentioned in other reviews, we weren't able to eat there either. We arrived shortly before 8 p.m. The restaurant closes at 9 p.m. There were several free tables inside and outside, all with "Reserved" signs. We were told everything was reserved and nothing was available...incomprehensible. The restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, even during the season. Some people can probably afford it. 🤷🏻‍♀️ The website is no longer up to date.

It's highly recommended. The service was very humorous and friendly, and we were very well looked after. The food was excellent. There were delicious dishes for vegetarians and vegans, as well as a varied selection of meat and fish. We all enjoyed our meal.

I'd also like to review the food, but the restaurant seems to have a luxury problem. You have to make a reservation four days in advance; dropping in spontaneously isn't an option. If you make a reservation three days in advance, the most you'll get is a blunt "No, it's not possible." We only found out about this when we were there, were turned away, and then called back a day later. The website says NOTHING about this! Important for anyone who wants to eat there: Google says the opening time is 12 p.m. But it's actually 5 p.m., because we saw a sign at 1 p.m. that said exactly that. Is that just Wednesday? Or an exception? I have no idea; the restaurant is incredibly opaque! Very disappointing.

Very inflexible. We would have liked to try it out, but it wasn't possible to get a table for our desired time within three days, and when we called, a voice in the background said, "You have to tell us we're out of stock." If you can afford it, it's fine. We would have loved to go there with five people, with food and drinks, but that's not the case.

We've been to Knurrhahn at least once on every vacation over the past few years. Friendly service, but the interior wasn't exactly modern or cozy... rather dated. Unfortunately, the price/performance ratio is no longer up to scratch. We went for the fried potatoes, and they were anything but fried. This vacation, we ate better and cheaper food in the area.

A very cute restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is super friendly. They knew us by name by now. The menu offers something for everyone: fish, meat, and vegetarian. Highly recommended, but make a reservation early, as it's very popular. They're also very dog-friendly.

We spontaneously "stumbled upon this place" and had a great meal. The portions were generous and we enjoyed the food. Service was very friendly, and they accommodated all our special requests.

We've been here many times on vacation. The food is excellent! The owner and staff are very friendly, attentive to their guests, and try their best to accommodate them. We've already made reservations again. The "Pup a la Pup" dish is a must when eating there! Children get one or two lollipops as a farewell gift. Dogs get water and even a treat as a farewell gift.

Great, plentiful food, and that's it. The price was okay for the local standards.

This restaurant is one of my personal favorites when we vacation on Usedom. The selection of dishes is perfect for a wide variety of needs and tastes. Whether we had meat, fish, asparagus, or desserts, everything was expertly prepared and delicious. The service is also excellent. It's best to make a reservation in advance!

The "Knurrhahn" is a must-recommend! Excellent service and very friendly staff. At this point, a huge compliment to the kitchen. They know their craft. Whether it was zander, cod, or plaice—we enjoyed it immensely. Every fish was expertly and perfectly prepared. First of all: The food was, as far as we can tell, very tasty and therefore no reason for the mediocre rating. We had the farmer's breakfast, and it was very well prepared, reasonably priced, and the portions were very generous. Unfortunately, the room we were seated in (we were seated in the basement) was more than problematic. We had been told we'd be given a separate room in the basement because there was no room available upstairs. So far, so good. However, we hadn't expected the real cellar atmosphere down there and the acoustics to be absolutely catastrophic. There was a large group at the next table, and you could barely hear yourself. We spontaneously decided to order a cheap dish and left after 30 minutes. We weren't the only ones who felt this way. There was another couple at the next table who also found the noise catastrophic. What we would have expected: A warning about the problematic acoustics when we made our reservation, at least a little understanding of the problem when we mentioned it to the waitress, and, overall, at least an attempt to make the room a bit more cozy and, above all, soundproof. It's probably very nice to sit and eat upstairs and outside. Unfortunately, we didn't make it there.

A cozy atmosphere invites you to linger. The fish platter (zander, cod, and gurnard) is highly recommended. The host here lives his profession and is a one-of-a-kind! If you bring your dog, you're always welcome!

Small but fine restaurant. There is a large selection of German cuisine. The price/performance ratio is right here. Dogs are allowed to be brought in. The staff is also super friendly, the children get something to paint and the dog gets something to drink. Due to the size of the restaurant, reservations should be made even in the low season. We would like to come a second time :-). Edit: In the end it was 3 times, we always enjoyed it.

Very friendly staff and very tasty schnitzels. The most dog-friendly restaurant I have visited so far. The four-legged friends are also spoiled with treats. We will come back and try other dishes from the beautiful menu.

Spontaneously decided to do it in the snow, also because we really liked the sign “Dogs are welcome here”. At the end of our holiday we had dinner at Gurnrahn and were very satisfied. Friendly, authentic staff and great food. Questions about the selected food were answered immediately, which means that the waitress knows what is being served😉. There were four of us for dinner and all four of us were completely satisfied. Everything was great from the welcome to the farewell. A very extensive menu has something for everyone. The food is freshly prepared and very tasty. The price-performance ratio is great. Clear recommendation. We'd love to come back. 2024/25 Ate dinner at the Gurnard again on 3 evenings for New Year's Eve. What can I say!? We were completely satisfied again. Great restaurant. Always happy. But be careful!! Reservations in advance are highly recommended.

Great restaurant in a location close to the beach, with its own parking lot, with the most dedicated and friendly service, and excellent fish dishes!!! The fried potatoes, mmmmhjamh, the fish, mhjammieh, the remoulade, starters salad with the delicious dressing, and an alcohol-free Störtebeker Weizen will make your mouth water 😋and if it still fits in, a dessert, here a delicious cream puff 😋 Thank you very much for that!

We ate at "Knurrhahn" twice last week. Both the fish dishes and the vegetarian dishes were very tasty and plentiful. We will definitely come back there on our next Baltic Sea holiday! Hartwig family

The service we received with our baby was extremely friendly and courteous. They immediately provided us with a high chair, helped us park the stroller and provided toys. The food came quickly, was very tasty and the prices were okay too. Thank you for the warm hospitality. We'd love to come back!
