Everything was really right here. This is also shown by a very well-filled reservation book. Quality and portions of the food were great, just like last year. Prices reasonable. Staff quick and very friendly. Anytime again 😘👍👍👍

Very friendly staff. We had barely sat down when a waitress came and brought our dog a bowl of water and treats. We felt very comfortable and welcome. The food was very tasty. A lovely evening at the "Gurnard". If you weren't here, you're missing out.

We were deeply disappointed with our visit to the Knurrhahn restaurant. As soon as we arrived we were greeted in an extremely unfriendly manner. When we asked if there was a place available for 6 people, a waitress greeted us with a smile and said: “We are full, you have to make a reservation four days in advance.” We rarely have such a condescending tone and rude behavior experienced. The staff overall seemed unfriendly and uninviting. Such service is unacceptable and leaves a bitter aftertaste. We had high expectations of the Knurrhahn restaurant, especially since the menu seemed really inviting, but we were completely disappointed. We definitely won't go here again and can't recommend it to anyone. There were far more inviting restaurants in the area, where we received a friendly welcome. Actually worth 0 stars!

When we asked in a friendly manner whether there was a place available for our family, we only received a short, succinct answer that we had to make a reservation 4 days in advance. A table even became free at that moment, but the waitress wasn't interested either. There is probably no interest in families with children here. If the food is as good as the service, it was probably better that we went a few places further. At least we received friendly service there and the food was great and cheaper too. In any case, the snarl won't see us anymore.

Be sure to reserve and if you're lucky you'll get a spot like this. The food is very good and the service is very friendly.

Reservations are recommended in the evening. When I went there early, I got a reserved table that was still available for 90 minutes, very friendly staff. Fresh cream mushrooms with potato rostis and a salad bouquet worked like this. The salad bouquet was obviously already prepared or bought that way and was very small. Too bad.

Absolutely recommended. Super delicious food. Large portions, freshly prepared and reasonably priced. There is also a good selection for vegetarians and great children's meals. We'd love to come back.

So I can truly confirm the unfriendliness of the operator. Hard to be outdone in terms of arrogance, he also threatened to throw us (5 people) out. We just asked if we wanted to drink 2-3 beers after eating... Two fellow patients from the neighboring rehabilitation clinic had enough and left voluntarily before eating. The dishes were great and tasty, but there was a problem with my order, it wasn't what I ordered...! Since I wanted to eat with the other remaining people, I skipped it and ate this. The waitress, who works full-time at the clinic and therefore knows us, went out of her way to look after us. Much to the dismay of the operator, who whistled at them in front of all the guests in a tone that bordered on being a serious insult! I think because of the really good location he is so sure of his income that he can perform like this...? I fell in love with Usedom during my rehabilitation stay and will definitely vacation there too. However, the gurnard will never see me again!

Food was very good. A little more expensive but ok. Service was very nice and tried very hard. We'd love to come back. We just couldn't find the guest parking space.

I can only rate everything with five stars! The food was great, the service was great! The price for the food and drink served to us for four people was under €80, delicious, generous and cooked to perfection. Hope to see you again next year

It's no longer easy to find accommodation in the evenings during the season. After 2 visits a crystal clear recommendation. The food was very tasty, the waitress was friendly, the location was good - there was a lot of traffic on the small street.

We talked to other holidaymakers about our plans to stop at the Gurnrahn. They already advised us against it because of the poor service. But since the menu appealed to us, we are always very open-minded. Unfortunately we now have to agree with the other holidaymakers. When we entered the terrace and sat down at an uncovered table, we were asked not to sit there and a reserved sign was immediately placed. When I asked where there was room for us, they looked at us in disbelief and left us standing there stupidly. Service like this is simply underground. We then went to the Italian restaurant on the promenade and ate there in a friendly atmosphere and great quality. The gurnard will never be allowed to welcome us as a guest.

Six of us (three couples) were here at Pentecost and had a wonderful evening. We've been looking for such friendly service and such delicious food in Berlin for a long time! The fish soup was particularly delicious. It was no problem at all to swap ingredients when ordering. The namesake gurnard was also crispy and yet tender and NOT dry on the inside. A visit is worth it just for the fried potatoes 😆

Very friendly service, very tasty food, also several vegan and vegetarian dishes. The free robber plate even had a salad bouquet. The kids got something to paint with.

We were here today because of the many positive reviews. And yes, we didn't make a reservation. (Off-season) Luckily we still got a place. But now to the food. We once had plaice and chicken cordon bleue, both of which were top. Very good quality, the salad with it was fresh. The plaice was on point. The staff, the two ladies, were very friendly. We can recommend the restaurant and please reserve in advance.

We were a group of 7 students. We were all rejected with extreme arrogance and unfriendliness. We all behaved well and entered the store with a friendly "Good evening, do you still have 7 seats available?" The rejection doesn't bother me. But this unfriendliness and arrogance is really an outrage. Does staff believe that students are not entitled to some basic respect?

I expected better. These employees do not feed young people. Me and 6 other classmates were very excited and had the idea of ​​eating something at the Gurnard. We are all friendly, decent young people who only had hunger and food on our minds. Unfortunately, after asking if there was still room for 7 lovely people, we were turned away. The service and food were great!!! You immediately had the feeling that there were people working here who enjoyed their job and that every guest was valued. We ordered the gurnard and a rump steak. The fish dish tasted fantastic and the steak was tender and cooked to perfection (medium rare). The restaurant is a real recommendation and we will come back. The boss and the waitresses were very friendly and also found the time for a little chat.

Rarely found on menus and prepared very tasty here: the gurnard fillet. The fish plate with cod, zander and gurnard fillets is also recommended! A must for every fish lover.

For us one of the best restaurants. Highly Recommended! The staff is very attentive, helpful and friendly. Yes, almost family-like. The food is delicious. We have been guests here several times. From the currywurst to the pork fillet to the fish plate. It's all a pleasure. And the nice thing is, you get full of it too. Even the dog likes to come here because there is water, treats and a kind word for him. It is definitely recommended to reserve a table (it always worked for us at short notice / low season).

Unfortunately no food is possible at 7 p.m.!! When asked if we could still eat, the landlord replied, no, we're closing and now, like the train, 35 hours and 4 days a week!! You don't have to wonder why no one comes anymore but goes 35 km further into Poland!!! NOTE 6 not recommended!!!

The food was very good, the service was motivated and committed. Unfortunately, this cannot be said about the owner of the restaurant. Unfortunately, my understanding of an "unpleasant" situation during our visit decreased permanently as time went on. Only guests who have food and a drink are welcome. Guests who stay longer and drink one or two drinks (including alcoholic ones) are obviously not welcome. A statement made by a person in our group was used by the owner as an opportunity to threaten “all of us” with expulsion. I paid 80 euros for food and drinks, actually no problem because the food and drinks were very good. Unfortunately, due to the behavior of the owner, it was a wasted evening... and therefore "wasted money". What a shame!!!!

Restaurant angeblich 3 Tage lang zu jeder Zeit ausgebucht und Essen zum mitnehmen schaffe man auch nicht. Sowas hab ich wirklich noch nie erlebt.

Die Restaurantbetreiber haben keinen Stern verdient. Wir wurden äußerst unfreundlich abgewiesen. Für ein "Guten Tag" reichte es auch nicht. Für mich erscheint es sehr erstaunlich wie es zu den anderen 5-Sterne-Bewertungen kommt. Nach meiner negativen Erfahrung kann ich nur von einem Besuch abraten.

Zum Essen kam es nicht, ab 19:00 Uhr hat diese Bedienung abends wenig Ehrgeiz Gäste zu bedienen. Wir 3 Gäste und noch 2 weitere Gäste wurden bei leerem Lokal „ignoriert“ und dann abgewiesen. Wir sind leider keine Einzelfälle:-/. Service kenne ich viel netter!

Sehr gutes Restaurant! Wir als Vegetarier waren begeistert über die große Auswahl an vegetarischem Essen, sogar vegane Gerichte stehen auf der Karte. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und auch die Kinderfreundlichkeit möchten wir hervorheben. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und direkt wieder reserviert (Reservierung auch in der Nebensaison empfehlenswert).

Sehr nettes Personal , Hunde sind sehr gerne gesehen ! Der Chef ist wirklich freundlich, der Laden vor allem Abends echt voll , eine Reservierung ist absolut von Vorteil. Das Essen ist sehr lecker neben einem großzügigem Fischangebot gibt es auch Steak , Schnitzel aber auch ein vegetarisches Angebot oder Currywurst, von mir eine klare Empfehlung!!!

Der Service war aufmerksam und das Essen sehr lecker. In dieser Gaststätte ist man bestens auf glutenfreies Essen eingestellt. Danke nochmal für diesen schönen Sommer-Abend auf eurer Terrasse.

Wir waren mit 4 Erwachsenen und 1 Kind da. Wir haben reserviert, und das war auch gut so. Das Restaurant war später voll. Wir haben sehr gut gegessen, das Essen war schnell zubereitet. Große Portionen, sehr lecker. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Wenn wir mal wieder in Trassenheide Urlaub machen, kommen wir wieder.

Bedienung topp Essen sehr gut. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.Mittagas Kaffee, Windbeutel mit Kirchen und Abends Knurrhahn mit Fischkartoffeln und Hering mt Speckbohnen gegessen.

Wir haben dieses Restaurant bewusst gewählt nachdem wir uns belesen haben welche Restaurants im Umkreis glutenfreies Essen anbieten für unseren Sohn. Und wir haben alles richtig gemacht damit. Bis auf ganz wenige Ausnahmen können sie die komplette Karte glutenfrei anbieten da sie eine Kochstrecke haben die komplett glutenfrei arbeitet. Großes Lob und gerne wieder!

Wirklich gute deutsche Küche. Nettes Personal. Aber dringend vorbestellen. Dienstags war schon für Sonntag Abend ausgebucht. Und hee, es ist tatsächlich so. Beliebt ist Beliebt. Weiter so.

Wenn man zum Knurrhahn essen gehen möchte muss rechtzeitig ein Tisch reservieren. Was wir auch gemacht haben. Das Personal war super nett gewesen und das Essen war auch sehr lecker. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältniss passt.

Fünf Sterne sind zu wenig, ich würde auch 10 geben, wie im Fernsehen. Glutenfrei, Sonderwünsche und und und, wird alles kundengerecht zu 100% erfüllt. Faire Preise und ein super Sevice. Nur zu empfehlen.

Ein sehr liebevolles Restaurant was gutes Essen zu schätzen weiß, mit der Kundschaft wird freundlich umgegangen und das essen war einfach traumhaft. Zum Abend sollte man allerdings vorher reservieren da dass Restaurant zu recht gut besucht ist.

Super leckeres Essen, vorallem im Vergleich zu anderen Trassenheider Restaurants. Natürlich nicht günstig - die Fischplatte ist aber zu empfehlen!

Zum zweiten Mal waren wir hier essen. Die Fischkartoffeln waren der Hammer, habe ich so noch nie gegessen. Dazu natürlich den Knurrhahn.
