Hearty, strong, good! Nordstadt charm, so rather simple 👍 Quaint pub with delicious, diverse cuisine. Also great for an isotonic cold drink after the run. Today with delicious chicken schnitzel and salad for energy after running 🏃🏼

In my opinion a great restaurant/pub with the old charm that I like so much. There is no ground level access and the way to the toilets is up a few steps. The food itself was great. The service came in a relaxed manner. The food was well prepared but it took a while. You can then pay in cash or EC. I'd love to come back.

Super delicious food! Tasted heavenly! My husband and I were in there with our 2 year old son who enjoyed being able to play in peace in a corner while we ate. The waitress was incredibly smiling, sweet and polite. When we have to pay, they suddenly tell us that you cannot pay by card and my husband runs up and withdraws 100 euros. When he comes back and has to pay the €58.60, the man only gives him back €11.40 and starts acting like we haven't paid €100. It's just not right! So that's why you only get 1 star. Super waitress and food, but your male waitress behind the bar, you might just have to think about whether he is cheating your customers.

Unfortunately very disappointed. My schnitzel was tasty, but the hunter's sauce was inedible, even the fries were rather poor. The asparagus cream soup was delicious, the dessert was well... More cream than mascarpone.

Great “pub” if you can affectionately call this very old location in Hanover. Very friendly service in a super authentic atmosphere. The food (schnitzel) was really outstanding. Personally, I would think just a small improvement would be great. 😃 A locality with tradition could perhaps also treat a large beer traditionally. Normal is 0.3 and large is 0.5 (not 0.4). Better to take 50 more. But personal taste doesn't detract from the 5 stars. We'd love to come back.

According to the company's own admission, the "Kaiser" has been around for over 120 years; This would make it the oldest restaurant in Hanover. In any case, the ambience is “rustic” and they pay homage to “classic standard German cuisine,” which I would definitely like to express as a great compliment. The menu therefore features the typical representatives of this gastronomic style, such as roulades, schnitzel and of course always seasonal items, such as a great asparagus menu (also with pike-perch). In fact, my Jägerschnitzel was sensationally tasty and filling, at an absolutely reasonable price. It was "hand-made" and fried in deep clarified butter, which resulted in a perfectly crispy breading, awesome! My delighted blackheads' roulades were huge and very tender. Conclusion: As a fan of German cuisine, you will get your money's worth at the Kaiser and leave the restaurant feeling inspired and more than full.

Just as it should be! Very nice service, ambience as it should be in such a restaurant. Based on a recommendation, we were there mainly to eat and we also tried a few things. The giant schnitzel is not an understatement! It was great and really more than huge. There were very good fried potatoes and the side salad 🥗 was very good. In addition to the 3 dishes and dessert, there were a few more 🍺. It was our first time there and we will definitely be back!

Good middle-class, rustic, very nice atmosphere to feel good. The food is good and the prices are very reasonable. The service is friendly and attentive. The menu should have something for everyone. Whether eating, chatting or just having a drink. Just go there!

Super cozy corner pub, really friendly staff and delicious schnitzel with crispy fries. You get a large schnitzel for a fair price. Good meat, great breading. Completely satisfied.

Sehr nettes Personal und angebot

Eine urige, aber modern geführte deutsche Eckkneipe. Gute Bierauswahl vom Fass. Das Essen ist von hoher Qualität (die Bratkartoffeln sind ein Schmaus). Hier kann man auf ein Bierchen, auch mit einer größeren Gruppe einkehren oder zünftig Speisen. Danke für die gute Bewirtung.

Leckeres Weihnachtsessen, Ente mit Beilagen. Speisekarte (Weihnachten) sollte stets aktuell sein!

Recently went to Gaststätte Kaiser and it was a hit. The spot is all about that homey, traditional German feel. Loved the currywurst - the sauce had just the right amount of spice. Generous portions and the food presentation was spot on. Plus, the staff made the meal even better with their warmth and attentiveness. This place is a must-try for anyone craving authentic German dishes.

Gutes Essen in sehr entspannter Atmosphäre. Man merkt der Gaststätte ihren Charme und ihre traditionelle Geschichte an! Leider war der Grünkohl schon etwas kalt, ansonsten gutes Essen! Definitiv einen Besuch wert!

Traditionelle Eckkneipe mit Restaurant. Sehr beliebt, schneller Service. Es hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Ich habe ein Schnitzel mit Pfeffersauce genommen. Es gibt auch andere Varianten, z.B. mit Zigeunersauce, zudem viele Gerichte mit Ei.

Essen super lecker, hat nur etwas gedauert bis es da war.

Das Lokal: kultig, die Speisekarte reichhaltig, der Service: freundlich Weniger Speisen auf der Karte könnten mehr sein, wenn dafür die Qualität gesteigert wird. Der Hirschgulasch war okay, die Beilagen: naja. Vor wieviel Jahrzehnten wurde das Lokal mal renoviert?

Wenn man es von außen sieht, denkt man nichts besonderes aber wenn man innen ist, sieht man die wunderschöne Einrichtung. Das Personal ist sehr Nett und das Essen unglaublich lecker. Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen!

Unglaublich gutes Restaurant. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr sympathisch und die Portionen sind ordentlich und das Essen ist immer top! Kann jedem empfehlen mal vorbeizuschauen.

Un restaurant cu un bar la intrare din spatele caruia primesti un zambet cald si un salut de fiecare data cand intri, cu tablouri cu poze vechi pe pereti si fete de masa in patratele, cu mobilier vechi, plin cu oameni de toate varstele veniți sa serveasca ceva de mancare. Am fost in trecere, cazat la un hotel apropiat, si am mancat aici doua seri la rand. Portiile mari si gustoase, curcubeu in cerul gurii. Berea Oberbräu Hell a acompaniat mancarea cu mult succes. 🫣 Noi am servit: 1. Medalioane de filet de porc cu ciuperci galbiori trase la tigaie, servite cu un sos de vin de Porto, crochete de casa si mixt de salata; 2. Snitel de porc cu ciuperci galbiori, cartofi prajiti si un ou ochi; 3. “Andy Teller” Carnat cu curry, cartofi prajiti, doua oua ochi si salata; 4. Steak de vita la gratar, cu unt aromat, cartofi prajiti si salata; 5. Steak de porc la gratar, servit cu cartofi prajiti, sos Bearnaise si salata; 6. Strudel cu mere, sos de vanilie si frisca. Toate felurile de mancare au fost excelente. Recomand cu căldura!

A great experience from start to finish. The restaurant has a typical cosy German decoration, the service is excellent and the food delicious with huge portions. Many locals were eating there which is always a good sign. I highly recommend this restaurant 👍

War zum ersten, aber nicht zum letzten Mal dort. Alle Gäste waren vom Essen begeistert und vom netten Service auch. Vielen Dank an das ganze Team.

Schnitzel waren zwar lecker, aber die dazugehörigen Pfifferlinge fehlten und wurden 15 Minuten später angeboten (Essen war bereits halb verzehrt und kalt, weil ich auf die Pfifferlinge gewartet hatte). Küche und Service offenbar total überlastet und wenig interessiert. Beim Bezahlen wurde nicht einmal ein Bon angeboten um die nicht erhaltenen Pfifferlinge abzuziehen. Echt schade, dass so mit Gästen umgegangen wird... erster und letzter Besuch.

Eine urige Gaststätte, mit einem tollen alten Tresen und schönen alten Mobiliar. Essen war sehr gut, hatten Bratkartoffeln mit Sülze bzw. Bratkartoffeln mit Roastbeef. Beides sehr lecker, dazu ein sehr feines Bier, perfekt. Zwei sehr freundliche junge Frauen haben den tollen Service gemacht. Scheint von allen Altersklassen gut besucht zu werden!

Gutes Essen zu fairen Preisen! Wir hatten Wildgulasch, Schnitzen und Steak. Die Portionen waren reichlich, das Fleisch hatte eine gute Qualität und der Service ist sehr zuvorkommend. Einzig die Salatbeilage hätte etwas Dressing vertragen können.
