Delicious food, Hessian tappas are my favorite item on the menu. And the ambience is simple, but very cozy, especially thanks to the light wooden tables. A calm place without a lot of chichi.

I have been to this restaurant several times and have always been very satisfied. The food was also very good today. Venison bratwurst with fried potatoes, very tasty. But what annoyed me a bit was the behavior of the waitress. The restaurant is actually open until 11 p.m. This is what it says on the internet and also on the menu locally. At around 9:20 p.m. they came to our table and said “last round”. When I asked why not until 11 p.m. I was told. There's not much going on today, so we'll close early. You can do that, but it has nothing to do with customer orientation. The bottom line is that if you want to eat a good home-style meal and want to go home early, you can come here. If you want to spend a nice evening and stay out until 10-11 p.m., it's better to go somewhere else. You don't know in advance how crowded the restaurant will be in the evening.

The food was delicious, hand cheese as a starter, followed by Frankfurter Röstel, great! Plus Paulaner Helles. The service is good and the restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere. We'll definitely be back. Thank you very much 😀

I've been a satisfied visitor to EPPSTEIN for years, but last Saturday I was very disappointed and annoyed to be told about the last order in a relaxed atmosphere around 8.30 p.m.!!! Various sources stated that the opening time was 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.! What's that supposed to mean?

A nice cozy atmosphere with good food and friendly service. Price performance is also right👍🏽

Very tasty food with good value for money. Actually everything is good... but the musical accompaniment with music at a discotheque volume is an imposition. The audience is there to eat and not to chill. When we kindly asked if the music could be turned down, we were told by the unfriendly bartender that we could do so. But there were no other places.

So cute, nestled in a residential area, great food, nice service and fast. Gladly again. If we lived there, it would be our local pub. Many greetings from Upper Franconia. It was the rounding off to 3 beautiful days in this city.

An all-round good and quaint restaurant in Frankfurt with great and attentive service. There aren't that many of them anymore. The dishes are consistently delicious and all regional, seasonal cuisine, a clear recommendation.

I recommend making a reservation. - Unfortunately, making reservations by telephone is a bit difficult. The friendly service doesn't understand the complicated German names well. Just call yourself John or Kate… 😊 Once the reservation is clarified and they have pushed you in, it will be really nice. The service is very attentive and the food is delicious! A really quaint pub.

We were totally thrilled by the rustic atmosphere, as a starter we had the hand cheese bruschetta and as a main course the cordon bleu with green sauce……. incredibly tasty, not to mention the super good draft beer! All I can say about the service at the table is… fabulous! We are all really excited and would love to come back!

The food was very tasty and the portion size was more than sufficient. The atmosphere was rustic and I felt very comfortable. Unfortunately, there are far too few places like this. In summary it can only be recommended, a real gem!

We arrived half an hour earlier than our reservation. Apparently the waitress didn't like that at all, after a lot of back and forth, we were graciously allowed to sit at another table until ours became free. When the waitress came to bring us the cards, she initially shooed us away by pointing out that the table would accommodate many more people than just the three of us. When we expressed a wish, we were told that we had nothing until our original table becomes available. We left without having accomplished anything and the landlady now has at least €200 less in her till. No more!

I just can say that the personal was pretty unfriendly. It was right that we arrived a bit earlier but it does not give anyone the right to mistreat or beeing rude to a customer. For the recessions here, I was really looking forward to traditional German food but my friends and I just decided to leave and have dinner somewhere else.

Great shop, quaint and authentically Hessian. The area around it is sophisticated and chic. Service is excellent but not affected, a well-off local pub for those who like to have a cozy atmosphere. The food is hearty and hits the spot for our state of Hesse!

War zum ersten Mal hier und mehr als begeistert essen mega Lea und Youmna waren mega aufmerksam obwohl es sehr voll war und sie einiges zutun hatten kamen sie immer wieder an den Tisch um nach ins zu sehen top immer wieder gerne

Seit langer Zeit in Frankfurt, aber ich hab noch nicht einen Laden mit besserem Essen und Service erlebt. Hier komme ich immer gerne wieder. Das Personal macht den Unterschied, Grüße und Respekt an Youmna, John und Lea!

Nette Bedienung & recht gemütlich. Das Essen ist mittlerer Standard ohne Highlights. Das Kartoffelpüree war in Konsistenz und Geschmack mäßig, die Spätzle sind aus der Packung (und der Optik nach keine Frischware, ich habe allerdings nicht probiert). Preis-Leistung aus meiner Sicht nicht gegeben.

War gestern vor dem BVB Spiel mit einem Freund im Eppstein. Sehr gutes Essen. Tolle Atmosphärische. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

Dieses deutsche Gaststätte wurde von einem guten Freund empfohlen, der Hotelier und „Feinschmecker“ ist. Das Restaurant liegt versteckt in einer ruhigen Wohngegend im Westend. Es ist gemütlich eingerichtet, das Essen ist sehr gut und der Service ist erstklassig und freundlich. Das Serviceteam, Wan, Lea und Youmna sind großartig und sehr aufmerksam und wir werden auf jeden Fall regelmäßig wiederkommen... und natürlich... das Mispelchen ist ein "Muss" nach dem Essen!

The Restaurant is very nicely located and sitting outside is a plus. Unfortunately they served us old Handkäse with Music, probably because we are tourists. The food was ok, we ate Schnitzel with the green sauce.

Wir waren früher oft im Eppsteineck. Auch wenn wir immer das Gefühl hatten, man könnte man einfachen Mitteln noch viel mehr aus dem Laden machen, die Location ist einfach urig mit der wunderschönen alten Linde. Im Westend gibt es weit und breit nichts Vergleichbares. Wir gehen nicht mehr hin. Der Grund liegt einzig und allein an der aus unserer Sicht unfreundlichen Bedienung (es geht hier um einzelne Personen, nicht das ganze Serviceteam). Anschreien wollen lassen wir uns ungern, auch wenn die Bedienung denkt, das gehöre wohl zu einer Frankfurter Kneipe dazu. Wir haben versucht, es uns eine Zeitlang irgendwie schön zu reden, im Sinne von, die meinen das doch eher spaßhaft, ist nicht so ernst gemeint. Inzwischen glauben wir das nicht mehr. Im Befehlston Tische zugewiesen zu bekommen, auf einmal Hundeverbot erteilt zu bekommen, spielende Kinder werden angepampt. Nö, es macht uns einfach keinen Spaß mehr, hier essen zu gehen. Leider. Alles Gute dennoch Eppieck.

Sehr kinderfreundliche Apfelweinkneipe mit guter und leckerer Küche. Sehr angenehm draußen unter den Bäumen zu sitzen.

Nice German restaurant with outdoor seating. The place is entirely good during lunch time due to its location, however service is good and food come fast. Traditional German food, portion and price is ok for this area. Good choice for business lunch with colleagues.

Solider Laden in schöner Lage. Essen ist ordentlich zubereitet, hatte bisher noch kein Qualitätsthema. Kellner ist derb, ich als Rheinländer mag das (ähnlich einem Köbes). Würde gerne 3,8 Sterne geben. So sind es aufgerundet 4/5.

Netter und aufmerksamer Service und eine wirklich erstklassige Küche! Die Speisekarte ist nicht überladen, was für mich ein klares Zeichen dafür ist, dass alles frisch ist! Grüne Soße 5*+ Bin seit Januar im Westend ansässig und besuche diese Lokalität immer wieder, und ich liebe das rustikale Ambiente: Holzbänke und Tische, man sitzt gemütlich beieinander. Die Atmosphäre ist freundlich und entspannt. Die Preise sind wirklich erschwinglich, der Ebbelwoi frisch und lecker. Wer einfach gemütlich und unkompliziert einen schönen Abend mit Freunden verbringen will, ist hier goldrichtig!

Sehr nette Bedienungen arbeiten dort. Das preislich moderate Essen ist gut. Ebenso die angebotenen Weine.

居酒屋風のレストラン。 閑静な住宅街の通りの角にある。 こういうのも「エッケクナイぺ（角の居酒屋）」と呼ぶんだろうか。 ドイツ料理の定番が一通り揃っている。 値段はかなりお手頃だと思う。 季節の名物白アスパラガスを食べたかったが、例によって少々値が張るので、フランクフルト名物「グリューネゾーセ（緑のソース）、ジャーマンポテト添え」にした。緑のソースはハーブの入ったソース。ジャガイモの他はゆで卵二個分。きっと定番通りなんだろう。 同僚が食べたシュニッツェルもおいしそうだった。 ビールは「ビットブルガー」。 通いたくなるレストラン。 あくる日の昼食もここで食べた。

Leckeres Essen und sehr Freundlicher Service. Das Essen kam sehr schnell, nach ca. 15Minuten hatten wir unsere drei sehr leckeren Gerichte.
