Simply to recommend. Even without making a reservation in advance, we got a nice table for 2 adults and 2 children with a view of the harbor. The food was more than sufficient and also super tasty. The waiters were very friendly and always on the ball.

I can't say anything about the quality of the food because we were turned away at 7:30 p.m. (the kitchen would have been closed) even though it's actually open until 9 p.m.

Great location and friendly service, but unfortunately unreasonable food. Fish soup with no taste, plaice only lukewarm on purchased potato salad, salad not dressed and baked potato on cheap purchased herb quark.

We had a reservation for 5 p.m., at 5:03 p.m. we already had the main course after the starter... that says a lot. We came in, were directed to a table next to a passage door with a lot of draft with the remark "We have prepared for you". We discovered that the saying came from every guest who came in. Every table was supposedly reserved. But the hosts seemed very flexible. The food... well... appetizer fish soup was the worst on the peninsula! And we really ate a lot of fish soup! Main course: fish platter with three types of fish that are quite inexpensive to purchase, says my wife, and she is an expert cook. It wasn't that bad, but overpriced at 33 euros. Dessert: Swedish ice cream sundae, good...even I can make that. Service....good....The guys weren't unfriendly, but neither are the ones in the party cellar around the corner. Well, let me put it this way: such a beautiful location in such an exclusive location on a beautiful peninsula... but this restaurant is disappointing!

The food, an average portion, tasted OK and was a bit overpriced. The service seemed a bit cold and overwhelmed to us. The ambience was more reminiscent of an ordering snack bar. Unfortunately, the same could not be said for the prices, especially for drinks. Beer 0.5 L for 6.20 € and a cheap white wine 0.2 L for 7 € are already a house number. Probably 1.50 per glass for the view of the lagoon. Sorry, we won't go there again.

Typical fish restaurant, delicious cuisine with many different fish dishes. There are also vegetarian and children's dishes. Pre-order recommended.

Nice service, but rip-off: 1 glass of tap water (according to the menu as mineral water) not from the bottle but from the tap in a glass for €3.00, a small portion of fish on the plate is just as expensive as a real portion of fish in any other restaurant, i.e. 1/2 portion for approx. €25.00. It tasted good.

It's very nice to sit directly at the harbor! The food came very, very quickly! The fried zander fillet was also OK! The floury fried potatoes were most likely ready-made and just needed to be warmed up! A time-saving method of preparation that unfortunately comes at the expense of taste quality! In our opinion, not OK given the “not to be despised” price level!

Unfortunately, vegan, cruelty-free progress has not yet arrived here, as there is not a single purely vegan dish on the menu. But you could put something together (like here with the fresh salad, where there was also a baked potato). The ambience, with the view of the lagoon, is of course fantastic. Unfortunately the staff is very “unmotivated”. With one young man in particular, we wondered whether he had been forced to work here. You didn't really feel welcome. Edit: Due to the owner's "friendly" response, I dropped 2 stars. According to his logic, the guests at the other tables must all have been vegan, given the way some of them were treated. But it's interesting that people are annoyed by simply leaving out the curd from the vegetarian dish...

The food was okay, but the price-performance ratio, especially for the drinks, was pretty out of control. The Rostocker for more than six euros is unfortunately a pure rip-off. Thanks for the spontaneous answer, my assessment is also about maintaining the quality/performance standard. Unfortunately, anyone who doesn't turn criticism into positive change will lose. Then they simply take a day off, relax and get back to work with renewed vigor. PS: with a Pilsner price of less than five euros, guests usually drink two to three beers more...just do the math 😉

Great view and friendly service

Great location right on the lagoon. The service is good and very attentive and the food comes relatively quickly. The quality of the fish is very good... Freshly caught... As a restaurateur, I can only recommend everyone to visit the Boddenblick. The small, cozy restaurant is located directly at the harbor in Dierhagen...outdoor seating is also available.

We had reserved a table and were there on time. After barely 15 minutes a waiter came and asked if we wanted to order something to drink. When he brought the drinks, we ordered the food, once the 3 Marjes, once the 2 fried herrings, once three kinds of herring, matjes, fried herring, Bismarck herring and once cod fillet. So the only thing that required fresh preparation was the cod. Why the whole thing still took three quarters of an hour is a mystery to me. The result was disappointing, the fried herrings must come from a mini breed, the cod fillet dbenso. I've never seen cod fillets so small. The only things that were ok were the herring, the potato salt and the fried potatoes. I expected more given the prices. Price/performance ratio underground

The food was just super super delicious. We didn't order, we were lucky and I think the boss immediately made something possible despite having two children. The waiter was also on the ball. The food was quick and as I said, freshly smoked and simply great. Will definitely be back 👍🏻😁 There is only one star deducted because the door to the terrace was open the whole time and it was drafty.

Super Location! Authentischer Rahmen und die Speisekarte passt auch dazu - herrlicher Freisitz fast im booden und direkt bei den Booten . Wirklich zu empfehlen . Keine 3 Sterne Gastronomie aber durchaus sehr gut . Preise moderat . Service freundlich und immer am Start .

A wonderful meal in a beautiful ambience with friendly service. It wasn't too crowded, so we didn't have to wait long for our order. But it was probably also because it wasn't the season. Called shortly beforehand to see if a table was available, but we were lucky enough to have dinner in this great restaurant. We were a group of 4 young men, everyone was fed up. I think that shouldn't be neglected either. All around: great restaurant, we would love to come back.

I would describe the restaurant as underground. When we entered we were told to hurry up if we wanted to eat anything. The emphasis is on wanting !!!! We hurried. A fried plaice and a fried zander came out of the frost. I think I haven't eaten anything that bad in the last few years or for a long time, if at all came in after us and saw a table with six young women. They were again warmly welcomed. I can only advise against it. Quality price-performance ratio absolutely underground. Very bad The fisherman, especially from Dierhagen, has his boats in the water directly behind the restaurant. You could buy high-quality fish there. I asked the waitress about the fish and asked if it came from the deep fryer. He said yes. I asked him what do the guests say about it? He just replied that he wasn't allowed to talk about it. Of course, it can be the case that the cook is no longer in the house an hour before closing time and the waitress just turns on the deep fryer. So anyway, the fish was disgusting. I am an angler and hunter myself. Unbelievably bad.

We were very disappointed with the food this time. Fried potatoes were like cardboard and the halibut didn't taste as good as I remembered. Went there several times a year ago and the food was great!!!

Nice restaurant. Everything is very nice. But when you arrive with the e-bike, the battery should still have enough power for the return journey. Because charging in the restaurant is not possible. This service should be offered.

Very nice smaller restaurant where you can eat delicious fish dishes, among other things. Of course, other dishes are also on offer. I think everyone will find something here. In summer or when temperatures are warm, I can highly recommend the outdoor terrace. Here you can sit protected from the wind and have a beautiful view of the bay and the small harbor (which is currently being expanded)1. I still find the price/performance ratio to be appropriate. Although I wouldn't exactly describe the prices as cheap. Parking spaces can be found approx. 200-300 meters away (maybe a little difficult in the immediate vicinity of the restaurant in summer due to the port situation). Definitely worth recommending from me.

After 9 years we went back to the Boddenblick restaurant to eat fried herring. The fish were prepared very tasty, the fried potatoes were good, but not outstanding. Very nice service, a wonderful table with an evening view of the lagoon and the rising moon - just great. We are critical of the 6.20 euros for half a liter of Rostock Pils, but whatever, the evening was still very nice.

Full 5 stars and would actually like more. Nice service, charming restaurant and especially suitable for allergy sufferers who, for example, need to eat gluten-free. The breading on the fish is made from rice flour --> very good! We didn't expect that. The food was delicious, plentiful and quickly prepared. We'll come soon. Happy vacation again!

Fischbrötchen von der Kuttertheke.... dazu ein Zwickel.... draußen bei leichtem Regen unterm Dach gesessen.... einfach Urlaub

Wir waren mit Freunden da. Schon die Reservierung war angenehm entspannt. Die gute Stimmung setzte sich im Kontakt mit dem Personal abends fort und wurde noch ausgesprochen lustig. Das Essen und Trinken war gut, die Lage ist wunderschön. Günstig geht es ja derzeit so gut wie nirgends mehr, aber zumindest das Parken war hier quasi frei. Wir kommen sicher wieder.

Lage super Fisch gut Beilagen wie Bratkartoffeln kalt trocken und Zäh wie Kaugummis sonstige Brilagen zu diesem Preis sehr einfach und dürftig einmal und nie wieder Preis Leistung past nicht

Sehr leckere Fischgerichte 🐟und eine nette Bedienung; man fühlt sich willkommen🤩. Die Lage direkt am Bodden, besser kann man nicht sitzen. Sehr zu empfehlen ist der Sanddorn Sprizz🍹…gerne wieder.

Sehr schönes Lokal in bester Lage direkt am Bodden. Der Fisch den wir gegessen haben war sehr Lecker und schön angerichtet. Nette Bedienung. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Was soll ich sagen..... einfach perfekt. Das Essen super lecker. Ich kann den Zander empfehlen. Service ist 1a. Der anliegende Hafen ist sehr idyllisch und lädt zum Zeesboot fahren ein. Wer fangfrischen Fisch möchte, auch kein Problem. Wird vom Kutter verkauft. Und wer im September dort ist und viel Glück hat, sieht noch die Kranische vorbei fliegen. Es war ein gelungener Abend.

It’s quite basic but has a lovely setting. The food is good quality and well priced. The smoked dishes are more expensive but very good quality. The eel was great.
