Nice staff and delicious cake. A bit sparsely furnished - some people might find it nice. But great, large outdoor area with a fireplace and a view of the Ruhr.

For a burger menu that somehow tasted like any other burger meat I bought, I found the asking price of around €15 for burger and fries to be quite high. And behind the counter it looked completely untidy and uninviting. 2 stars deducted for that. It is beautifully located on the Ruhr, but separated by a fence and bushes. The location is great for open air parties.

Very friendly service. The ambience in the back area is rustic, but still bright and friendly. The front area is a lovely, cozy pub. And most importantly, excellent food. No matter whether German or Mediterranean. Simply great.

Schmachtenbergstraße 184A round, wonderful evening with some really delicious, outstanding food - meat (venison, veal liver) on point, fish tartare a dream, the Parmesan soup a poem! A very appealing atmosphere to feel good, an impressive wine list, the service perfect, very friendly, attentive. Of course the price is higher, but you can also “taste” the star! Thank you very much for a successful gourmet evening!

Freiherr-vom-Stein-Straße 204a, Essen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany Completely overwhelmed staff were unable to remember an order or save it into the system. After half an hour a new waitress came, apologized and nothing happened again. After an hour I was asked again about my wishes. We were looking for a camera, but it was a shame and ridiculous at the same time.
