1 star is already too much 😢 Waited almost 2 hours for food and was wrong 3 times!! Then something would be thrown together that we didn't like at all. Ate half of it because we were hungry…The next day we had terrible gastrointestinal problems!! Never again, sorry ☹️

Here is a more detailed version of your review: --- Today the three of us ate at a restaurant and unfortunately our experience was anything but satisfactory. We arrived around 3pm and looked for a table. Shortly after sitting down, a waitress came up to us and handed us the menus. Everything went smoothly up to this point. After about 15 minutes she came to us again to take our orders. This period was a little longer than expected, but still within limits. Drinks were served about 10 minutes later, which was perfectly fine. But then the real problem began: waiting for our food. We sat at the table for a full hour until the food finally arrived. To our great surprise, the order was completely wrong. We immediately told the waitress this and she apologized. We then had to wait another 10 minutes, which was even more frustrating after the already long wait. When the food was served again, we were stunned: again it wasn't what we had ordered. Since we didn't want to wait again, we decided to just take it and eat it. However, the kebab I had was a total disappointment. It tasted like absolutely nothing and the ingredients inside were not the ones I ordered. It seemed careless and not very fresh. The fries, on the other hand, were the only thing that was acceptable. In summary, our visit to this restaurant was a big disappointment. The long waiting time, the repeated incorrect orders and the poor quality of the food thoroughly spoiled our stay. Unfortunately we cannot recommend this restaurant.

One of the best restaurants in Essen. Always fresh and delicious. Both the breakfast buffet and the grilled meat were always a pleasure. I'm already looking forward to the next time ^^

We were there for the first time today. At the beginning you are not welcomed as usual, so we chose a place ourselves. The fries came without ketchup and mayo even though they were ordered. The meat really tasted very good. The salad was also super fresh and the bread was very good. The table stuck. However, the cutlery was clean. The waitress apologized to us several times that everything was taking a little longer because she was alone. We also had complete understanding for it. When we wanted to pack the rest of our food, the highlight came. The fries were not wrapped but brought to someone else's table. However, the guests immediately said that the fries weren't theirs, then our fries were simply placed on an empty table and lay there for a quarter of an hour. When we asked at the counter for a box to pack, we were not understood due to language barriers. So all in all it was a super chaotic afternoon in the restaurant. We will not come back because of the waiting time and the organization in the service. It was around 4:00 p.m. in the afternoon, and things won't be much better in the evening when the restaurant is full.

The staff on the phone were nice, but unfortunately the food wasn't recommended. Doner kebab actually means something different, and the curry sauce tasted like warm water with a little spice. Currywurst was just as bitter and, in my opinion, tasted cheap. So we won't order there again.

The interior design is nicely done, but you come here to have breakfast, for example. Therefore very little selection which doesn't do justice to an all you can eat option. I would have expected that the food that was available would at least come back quickly when it was empty. However, that wasn't the case. The service isn't exactly great either. Despite the lack of activity, we waited a long time for soup. Nobody asks if you have everything or need anything. There are significantly better alternatives.

Sehr freundliche und wirklich nette Mitarbeiter. Sehr großes Kompliment an die Bedienung und den Inhaber! Das Essen ist immer sehr lecker und die Portionen sind groß. Der Döner wird im Haus gemacht und schmeckt hervorragend. Dazu kommen immer Extras und Zugaben vom Haus. Wir sind sehr gerne hier.

Wir waren schon öfter im Marifet und sind wirklich sehr zufrieden. Wir bestellen meist Adana und egal zu welcher Uhrzeit man kommt, ist das Essen immer frisch und lecker. Man bekommt häufig als Gruß aus der Küche vorab Brot mit Dips oder kleine Salate. Was für ein Service!! Das Essen ist heiß und frisch und kommt sehr zügig. Der Kellner ist immer sehr freundlich, häufig mit Humor dabei und macht den Besuch sehr angenehm. Wir haben noch nie so gutes Adana gegessen und man merkt, dass mit viel Liebe dort das Essen zubereitet wird. Auch Dönerspezialitäten sind üppig und super lecker! Als Überraschung bekommt man anschließend meist noch eine Süßigkeit aufs Haus und immer einen heißen çay. Wir sind sehr gern dort und empfehlen das Restaurant von Herzen. Preis-Leistung absolut top!!

Wir gehen hier regelmäßig hin und es schmeckt immer . Es sind große Portionen,ich bekomme meinen Teller nie leer😊Den Rest lasse ich dann einpacken . Auch gibt es immer Vorspeisen und etwas süßes als Nachtisch kostenlos ,genauso wie Tee. Das Personal ist immer freundlich . Wer da noch was zu meckern hat ,kann ich nicht verstehen . Essen ungenießbar. Hatte Döner bestellt, aber was ankam, hatte nichts, rein gar nichts mit Döner zu tun. Das Fleisch krümelig, überwürzt, versalzen und fettig. Das Brot war in Fett getränkt. Vom Tzatziki fehlte jede Spur. Wie alt waren diese Zutaten, denn frisch sieht anders aus. Es war nicht einmal annähernd der Geschmack von Döner zu schmecken. Bestellt oder holt euch lieber woanders einen richtigen leckeren Döner. Bei den Preisen hat der Kunde das Recht, einen essbaren Döner zu bekommen.

Ich habe heute einen Döner, oder was auch immer es gewesen sein soll, zum ersten Mal in diesem Imbiss gekauft. Das Fleisch bestand nur aus kleinen, harten, versalzen und total fettigen Stücken. Das Brot war total zäh und auf der einen Seite schwarz verbrannt. Habe den Salat gegessen und den Rest weggeworfen. Nie wieder etwas aus diesem Imbiss, deswegen ist ein Stern noch zuviel.

Teller döner hat geschmeckt. War lecker. Kellner ist freundlich. Tualete ist sauber. Also von mir nochmal hin👍

Das Essen hat garnicht geschmeckt der service war sehr schlecht. An einem dorffest sollte man leiber mehrere kellner haben statt einen. Wie auf dem foto zu sehen ist fast alles geblieben weil es nicht geschmeckt hat .

Super tolles Türkisches Restaurant. Tolles leckeres Essen, grosse Portion selbst wann man aus der Karte klein bestellt wird man mehr als satt. Super freundliches Personal. Selbst wenn mal eine Kleinigkeit nicht so ist wie gedacht. Lässt das Personal was einfallen um dich glücklich zu machen. Gratis gibt es immer Vorspeise und Nachspeise und Tee so viel man will. Von dem Laden können sich manche eine Scheibe abschneiden Top 5 Sterne wert.

Das Essen bei Marifet in Essen war gute osmanische Küche. Der Kellner war superfreundlich und hat sich sehr gut um uns gekümmert. Das Restaurant ist sauber und sehr gemütlich eingerichtet.
