Gasthof Weissig in Dresden

We had made a reservation and went to dinner as a family of 8 on Sunday. Both our waitress and the other two employees were extremely courteous. The food was very tasty and more than filling, at absolutely fair prices!! We didn't miss anything. We can fully recommend the inn!

Ten of us ate at Gasthof Weisig today and were warmly welcomed. At lunchtime everything was busy. The service was really very good and attentive and the food was also delicious. I had the spaghetti with shrimps. Be careful, generous portions and I was able to take my food with me. 🤩 It was super tasty. It was a really great lunch. Thank you for the great time. I would like to come back sometime. 😊

Yesterday we were at the inn as a family to open the spagel season for ourselves. Absolutely delicious, the asparagus soup and the schnitzel were perfect! Thank you, gladly again!

An absolute highlight! From the warm welcome to the last bite, everything was perfect. The food was not only a visual delight, but also tasted at the highest level - fresh, creative and prepared with love. The service was attentive, friendly and professional. The inn is located directly on Bautzener Landstrasse and is easy to reach. We had lunch this afternoon. There were plenty of free places there. During “peak times” you should reserve seats. The food was well prepared, freshly prepared, very tasty and plentiful. The service was very friendly and accommodating. Thanks! We'll be back!

An almost spontaneous visit, the four of us to the restaurant, today on a Tuesday (it's schnitzel day!!!!), will encourage us to visit the restaurant again. All the waitresses were really very nice, even if not all of them had learned the trade, but they always tried to fulfill even unusual customer requests. Hats off, in this day and age! In addition, the kitchen was able to completely convince us today, 2 rich schnitzel dishes with a large side salad bowl were really well received, the skirt steak we ordered with fried potatoes and an equally large side salad bowl was perfect! Personally, I found the classic dish I ordered at this time of year, asparagus with schnitzel and fresh potatoes, more than perfect! Very nicely prepared, after all, the eye is there too, but also the quality of the asparagus, the schnitzel, the potatoes, the holly - everything is really great! At the beginning I was a little hesitant about the retail price of over €26, but if the size of the portion and the quality turned out to be the same as what I was served this evening, the calculation was correct. Conclusion for the catering trade; It's your own fault.... You'll definitely see us again ;-) My very personal recommendation at the end; the pleasure ticket for two! Almost everyone knows the principle: order two dishes and the host takes care of the cheaper one. The gourmet menu for two is currently valid in four Kosiol family restaurants in Dresden! All in all, we are very happy that the inn is open again. Now to our visit (the second since the reopening). The food is good but not outstanding, the prices are relatively high but still acceptable. The service is attentive, but the friendliness varies depending on which service person you get...a positive highlight is the promotional days Monday to Thursday, you can really save here...we definitely recommend a reservation, as it was really well attended both times (once during the week, once on the weekend). Overall, a good inn in a great building...it's best to see for yourself!!!!

I hope that our (sometimes negative) experience was a blip. We found the atmosphere very nice and cozy. The service was consistently friendly and attentive. But: We had to wait 1 hour for our food. I think it's a shame if you're not informed in advance that due to the busyness (there was probably an event in the house too) it might take longer today. We wanted to go to a concert afterwards and had to literally devour our food due to the long waiting time. That really spoiled the evening. Unfortunately my steak was also mediocre. The steak was completely dry and therefore not very tasty. Very unfortunate.

I had dinner at Gasthof Weissig with my girlfriend and we were glad we had made a reservation because the restaurant was full. So my tip, it's worth making a reservation. The staff was friendly, drinks and food came to the table quickly, my portion was really big, I barely finished it, but since it was so tasty there was nothing left on the plate at the end. The inn is very stylishly decorated and we both really liked it. I will definitely come back. It's great that we have such a well-run Gasthof Weissig again! :)

Very unfriendly staff, if there are three of you and you don't have a reservation, they don't make any effort to find a solution. We're not used to that from the predecessor. We spontaneously wanted to have a quick dinner there with our daughter at 5 p.m. on a Monday for my husband's birthday. At the same time, I actually wanted to make reservations for an event with 50 people in June. That has now been resolved. We will never set foot in this village inn again.

We were here on Boxing Day and the restaurant was naturally very busy. The staff was nevertheless consistently friendly and attentive. But above all, I was We were pleasantly surprised by the food - vegetarian options are often neglected when it comes to home-style cooking. Here, however, there was a small but very fine selection of vegetarian options. Everything super fresh and very tasty! Definite recommendation and please keep it up! 👍

I was there on a Wednesday when hamburgers were being served. It was very good, juicy, medium rare, well seasoned and the sweet potatoes were crunchy but soft. We'll be back!

So the Christmas goose and the dumplings and the red cabbage were a treat!!! We as a family with 4 year old boys were very satisfied!

We ate there today for the first time under the new operators (since November 2024) and it was just great! The service is fantastic, incredibly accommodating and friendly and the food is beyond delicious. The roulade is highly recommended, as are the other things on the menu (the homemade lemonade is also a hit). This was certainly not the last time and we are very happy that the Gasthof Weißig has had such great operators again!

The Gasthof Weißig has had a new operator since November 1st 24 and we are totally thrilled. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious 😋 So please don't be influenced by the bad reviews, they are from the previous operator. We always enjoy coming there and can only recommend the inn 😉

Were there for St. Martin's goose lunch. Very well attended. Prices are top. Portions very plentiful and tasty. Service very friendly. Fast service. The promotional days such as rib day, burger day, schnitzel day, etc., which each include a 0.5l beer in the price, are also great. Highly recommended. We'd love to come back.

Very disappointed! After our funeral, we arrived there 30 minutes early, the door was opened to us grumpily and without a word, but the door was not opened or greeted in a hospitable manner, no, the waitress just left... then we had to get plates and cutlery ourselves distribute, unfortunately the food wasn't particularly good either, we had to wait forever for drinks and there was actually no communication. Conclusion: 0 points. Never again!

We had a meal there, well prepared and a very good portion and the beer from Pilsen is excellent. Gladly again when we are there.

Schlechtestes Gulasch meines Lebens: 3! Stückchen Fleisch und ein paar fade Knödelscheiben, die auf einem weiten Soßenspiegel schwammen. Und das für knapp 14 €. Sehr ärgerlich, wenn man das einzige Restaurant im Ort abwählen muss.

Wir waren hier zu zweit zum Mittagessen. Das Essen war okay. Aber für fast EUR 50.00 fanden wir es doch etwas teuer im Verhältnis zu den Gerichten. Das Restaurant war fast leer, obwohl Wochenende war. Ich war hier das letzt Mal 2018 und man müsste den Tisch reserviert haben, um überhaupt Platz zu bekommen. Der Biergarten liegt leider an einer Kreuzung, wo alleweil nach Abgas stinkend Busse langfahren.

Wir fanden hier den Helfer in der Not. Nachdem uns ein anderes Restaurant mangels Koch die Bewirtung zur Familienfeier vier Wochen vor Termin gekündigt hat, gab es nach vielem Telefonieren hier den Treffer, Gesellschaftszimmer frei und Essen nach Karte. Haben gleich getestet. Bier gut, Essen gut, natürlich kein Haute Cuisine... Service super aufmerksam und freundlich. Verständigungsprobleme gab es nicht...

Von außen sehr pompös aufgemacht im inneren leider nicht der Ballsaal ist schon in die Tage gekommen. Der Parkettboden ist schon ziemlich beansprucht worden. Auch ist der Ballsaal ziemlich klein. War dort anlässlich einer Ausstellung Modelleisenbahn. Die innere Enge drückt auf die Stimmung. Die Gaststätte war zu dem Zeitpunkt noch geschlossen. Was ich so als Aushang gesehen habe befinden sich die Preise noch im moderaten Level. Die Anbindung von und in die Stadt sind Okay. Weissig ist ein Stadtteil von Dresden und nur ein Dorf. Fazit ist das der Besuch sich in dem Restaurant bewirten zulassen Sinnvoll erscheinen kann ist aber durch die Schließung von dem Restaurant an den Tag von mir nicht bewertet worden. Ich vergebe deshalb nur drei Sterne was ich so gesehen habe.

Wir führten unsere Jahreshauptversammlung der Feuerwehr Dresden-Weißig im kleinen Saal des Weißiger Gasthofes durch. Mit tollem, für uns fast traditionellen Ambiente hatten wir einen gelungenen Abend dank der helfenden Vorbereitung durch das Team vom Gasthof Weißig. Etwas abseits vom Restaurantbetrieb im ersten OG konnten wir uns frei entfalten und es uns ganz ortsverbunden gutgehen lassen. Dank des schmeckendem Caterings durch das im Erdgeschoss befindliche tschechische Restaurant waren alle Gäste und Kameradinnen/en mehr als zufrieden. Wir kommen gern wieder!

Große Portionen, Preis angemessen und freundliches Personal

Naja, Bedienung ist nett und bemüht. Aber das Essen wird nicht laut der Karte serviert, lange Wartezeiten inklusive. Schmackhaft war es auch nicht.

Wir waren heute beim Kinderfasching und der junge Mann der für den Bierausschank zuständig war hat während seiner Arbeit E-Zigarette geraucht, der ganze Saal war voller Kinder!!! Erst nach mehrmaligem Ermahnungen und patzigen Antworten ist er mit der Dame raus zum Rauchen und oftmals war der Ausschank ohne Bedienung.

Ein guter Ort für Veranstaltungen ohne dass hier angeblich PI-Meinungen nicht zu Wort kommen dürfen. Mit dem Bis 61 auch noch halbwegs vernünftig mit dem ÖV zu erreichen.

Danke, dass Sie die heutige Veranstaltung in Ihren Räumlichkeiten (Saal) ermöglichten! Vor 36 Jahren war ich das letzte Mal zur legendären Dorfdisco bei Ihnen.😉

Authentisch tschechische Küche ist es auf jeden Fall, soviel vorweg. Der Service ist auch wunderbar und das urige Ambiente weiß zu Gefallen. Geschmacklich hat das Entengericht auch gut geschmeckt nur war die Ente von zäh bis ausgetrocknet... Nix saftig. Rest vom Teller sehr gut gemacht. Der Burger war klassisch gemacht, allerdings brät man Speck vorher knusprig an, so hat man nur komisch fertiges schwer kaubares etwas dazwischen. Gurken gewöhnungsbedürftig aber ok, Rest wieder sehr gut. Muss noch bisschen an der Umsetzung der Rezepte gearbeitet werden, weil geschmacklich können die schon was. Nur mag niemand Schuhsohle oder Gummi Essen. Achso Vorspeise, Mischbrot (Pfannenbrot mit Knoblauch zum drauf reiben) war sensationell lecker 😁

An sich eine schöne Gaststätte. Die Auswahl am Essen ist ausreichend, die Preise sind in Ordnung. Es sind ein paar Details die ich abwerte. Die Speisekarten sind sehr abgenutzt und stellenweise nicht mehr richtig zusammen und das dich sehr helle Licht hindert das aufkommen größerer Gemütlichkeit. Das Personal ist freundlich und sehr bemüht, wirken aber auch hinter der Bar hektisch und da kommt Unruhe auf

Essen und Service sind hervorragend

Eine absolute Katastrophe, wir kamen 6 Personen, nachdem recht zügig die Getränke kamen ging es los. Essen bestellt und nach über einer Stunde kamen 2 Bestellungen von 6 an. lauwarm und 3stk Fleisch beim Gulasch und 3 Liter Soße. Für knapp 16 Euro. Auf Nachfrage wo das andere Essen bliebe hieß es nur es dauert noch. Haben unsere Getränke dann bezahlt und gegangen. Bedienung spricht kaum deutsch. So etwas hab ich noch nie erlebt.

Lange Zeit wurden wir gar nicht bedient und erhielten bestellte Getränke nicht. So richtig verstanden hat uns der Service jedoch die ganze Zeit nicht... 20 Minuten nachdem wir bestellt hatten, wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass einige Essen nicht mehr vorhanden sein. Als wir bei der anderen Servicekraft Ersatz bestellen wollten, hieß es, wir müssten über 1 h auf das neue Essen warten, da sie davon ausging, wir würden neu und nicht als Ersatz bestellen. Am Ende warteten wir über 1,5 Stunden auf unser Essen. Nie wieder! PS: Finger weg vom Eistee, der ist eher Kirschsirup-Wasser. Vegetarisches Essen zudem quasi nicht vorhanden.

Enttäuschend! Leider haben wir hier eine sehr schlechte Erfahrung gemacht. Schon beim Bestellen waren viele Gerichte nicht mehr verfügbar. Nach langen Warten wurde serviert: - 2 Essen waren kalt - 2 Essen kamen mit falschen Beilagen - 3 Essen wurden serviert, als alle anderen schon fast fertig waren zu essen Die Qualität und Geschmack der Speisen lies durchweg alle Wünsche unerfüllt. Home Style Pommes und böhmische Knödel kamen bestenfalls aufgewärmt aus der Tiefkühltruhe. Der Service war mit der Situation aufgrund unzureichender Kompetenz und Verständigungsschwierigkeiten leider nicht gewachsen.

Unser Hochzeit im Sommer 2022 fanden wir mehr als gelungen. Herr Micek (Pächter) hat uns sehr gut in den Vorbereitungen super unterstützt. Die Säle sind wunderschön und sehr verzaubernd.

Anfangs sehr ansprechend aber nach 35 min warten, ohne das uns auch nur die Karte gebracht wurde, siegte der Hunger und wir fuhren zu MC Donalds.

Ich kann die vielen guten Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen. Der Service war ganz nett, aber das Essen ging gar nicht. Das Kalbsschnitzel war trocken und zäh, der Gurkensalat war eher eine Gurkensuppen. Die Schweinelende, das Hähnchen und die "zarte" Entenbrust waren quasi Staubtrocken. Die Fleischgerichte wurden zum Teil in tiefen Tellern serviert, wo man dann als Gast Probleme hatte das Fleisch zu schneiden. Wir werden hier nicht mehr hin gehen.

Naja schade. Die Bedienung war überfordert. Zum Tanzball am Sonntag bekamen wir kein Essen. Bier haben wir am Tresen selbst geholt. Die Räumlichkeiten sind sehr attraktiv

Waren das 2mal dort essen war mal wieder sehr lecker 🤤 kommen gerne wieder. Danke nochmal das wir auch die Kegelbahn nutzen durften.
