Casa Borea in Dresden

You're expecting a typical sports field pub/snack bar, but you'll be very pleasantly surprised. The food is absolutely delicious and easily rivals that of many good restaurants. The service is almost like a family gathering. There's hardly any wait, and I had absolutely no complaints. You can sit outside and enjoy the peace and quiet. Drinks and food are available at very reasonable prices. All in all, it's a cozy spot to relax with a beer and a tasty meal, for example, after a hike through the Dresden Heath.

When you walk in, you expect a snack bar, but the quality of the food is world-class. The menu is very small and changes frequently, which is a huge plus for me considering there are only two operators. The steak I ordered is top-quality; both the preparation of the meat and the side dishes are, in my opinion, extremely good. I'm almost inclined to say that you won't find anything better even in the most expensive steakhouses in the city, especially not for €26 (300g Argentinian rump steak including side dishes). The chef personally comes to your table, and the service is approachable and friendly. I definitely recommend it.

We are always delighted by the incredibly friendly service and delicious food at Casa Borea. You can't help but feel comfortable there and relax to the sounds of guitar music. Today we had the incredibly delicious Argentinian rump steak with rosemary potatoes again. I've never eaten such a tasty steak anywhere else. I can't stop raving about it. We can wholeheartedly recommend Casa Borea. We would love to come back again and wish you a wonderful and, above all, relaxing time in Portugal. We'll definitely see you again in August. Sehr gut. Auf jeden Fall wieder. Okay ich war sehr skeptisch. Ein Restaurant auf einem Sportplatz, was soll mich da schon erwarten. Und dann waren wir da. Die Küche hatte eigentlich schon zu, trotzdem haben sie uns noch etwas zu essen gemacht. Qualität war super und geschmeckt hat es wirklich gut. Der Service war perfekt und es war insgesamt ein sehr schöner Abend. Danke an das Team nochmal und ich komme sehr gerne wieder.
