The exceptionally friendly head chef greeted me with a smile and kind words, even though I arrived early :) The chicken schnitzel was perfectly cooked and juicy. We'd been turned away at several restaurants before arriving at Försters. There, we were told we'd have to wait, but this was explained to us in a very friendly manner, and they did everything possible to get us a table. The service was very friendly and professional, even though it was very busy. The food was delicious and fresh. The cocktails were also excellent. The value for money was very good. We'll be back. 🤗

We've eaten delicious meals at Förster's Restaurant several times, so thank you again for that. This time, while looking for a small dessert, we stumbled upon the Eierschecke by chance. What luck! It was wonderfully light and sweetened just right, not too sweet, and simply perfectly balanced. Every single layer was a delight! You can immediately tell it's freshly baked and baked with love. A true piece of Dresden indulgence that we won't soon forget! Highly recommended.

We had lunch here today. We had schnitzel with a mushroom cream sauce and croquettes. The schnitzel and croquettes were definitely frozen. The taste was disappointing. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Our grandson received a coloring book and crayons. Unfortunately, that was the best part of this restaurant visit.

We were served very friendly and competently. A gluten-free meal was expertly recommended.

We were two adults and a child in a stroller. The staff was friendly and offered us a suitable spot with a stroller. There was enough room in the restaurant to get to the spot with the stroller. The atmosphere was pleasant, with quiet music playing and not too loud. It was easy to have a relaxed conversation. The menu caters to everyone, from meat to vegetarian. The food was quick and delicious. The best dish was the chocolate soufflé with mango sorbet, which perfectly rounded off the evening. We paid less than €65 for three drinks, two main courses, and one dessert.

We visited for lunch and can definitely recommend it. Some of the food was excellent, and ambient beats rounded off the visit pleasantly.

Top address! I'm a fan of Cordon Bleu, and when I asked, the waiter said, "Sure, we'll make it for you, top." Then the head chef came over and asked if I had a special request for the filling. Garlic, mmm, delicious. And then there was a great garlic bread to go with it. Thank you so much for that. Modern restaurant, great staff. And above all, flexibility is very rare these days. I was there on Tuesday evening and was delighted. Fast, friendly service, the food lovingly prepared and fantastically tasty. Oven-fresh egg cake...a real treat. I'd go back anytime.🤗

I decided to come here after reading the reviews, but I was disappointed. I ordered a pork steak, and it was completely tasteless—just flavorless. The portion of green beans was surprisingly large, and the fries were nothing special either. Overall, I do not recommend this place. The prices are too high considering the food quality and taste.

I ordered the schnitzel with mushroom sauce and it was a decent portion that tasted good and was really filling. The schnitzel was well breaded and I didn't have any tendons or bacon bits.

Back for Schnitzel Tuesday again. We ate delicious schnitzel with mushrooms and schnitzel with 'Bert'. Everything was homemade and delicious! Very friendly service and a lovely atmosphere! We'll see you again soon!

Hello everyone, When we ate there, what we were served was nothing short of a disaster. The schnitzel was well-cooked, but tasted exactly like frozen food from the supermarket. The fried potatoes were cold, burnt, and more like mashed potatoes. When we complained about this, new potatoes were brought to us within 2 minutes, which tasted reheated. When a man at our neighboring table also ordered a schnitzel, it was served after 4:30 minutes (we timed it). Absolutely not recommended.

We recently went out to eat together. Since it was rather spontaneous, we were worried we wouldn't get a seat, but the extremely attentive staff, after a very friendly greeting, immediately found us a nice table outside. We ordered the schnitzel and the fried cheese wedges and loved the food! The service was also consistently present and very attentive, but never intrusive! In short: we were thrilled and will DEFINITELY come back if we're in the mood for good food, friendly service, and a pleasant atmosphere! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Waitress was super nice but did not speak english, cucumber soup very nice, chicken schnitzel ok, but pasta with shrimps was not edible due to amount of wine put in the sauce.

We were in Dresden for Pentecost and happened upon Förster's Restaurant. We were treated with friendly and courteous service. The homemade cakes were excellent, and the Eierschecke (egg cake) was especially delicious. The next day, we had to enjoy another Eierschecke at Förster's.

This was my second time here, and the food was delicious again! The interior is beautifully decorated, and the staff is super friendly. I highly recommend it! I'll be back next time I'm in Dresden.

The food is delicious, friendly, and the atmosphere is nice.

The taste of the food was okay and the employees were friendly. Unfortunately we had to wait over 70 minutes for the food, which was also very carelessly prepared. Ultimately, the food was disproportionate to the waiting time. The only reason for this was that many people ordered at the same time. From the looks of it, most people had to wait longer than average, even though the restaurant wasn't always overly full.

I was at Försters today with my family (6 people). Even though it was very busy, we quickly got a nice table. The waiters were all very friendly. The food, especially the duck, was delicious and the food came very quickly. We can only recommend the Försters to everyone and would be happy to come back :)

We called because we were 15 minutes away. When we arrived later, our table was occupied and we had to wait another 20 minutes with a small child. That's not possible and is highly unprofessional! The food took forever and at the end it was sometimes hard, dry or bland. The waiters only come when it is necessary, not to see any attention. So poor service, although nice. We ordered pasta with sauce for our son but without cheese and got it. Not dramatic, but not very great. I definitely won't be coming back and can't recommend the restaurant either...

We went to this restaurant after a long day of sightseeing. The waiters were excellent, and did assist us even as tourists. The food was delicious, a bit pricy but though worth it In my opinion. I would recommend the curry soup if you’re into it!

To be honest, we were really very disappointed. The atmosphere is really getting old. The table setting is also not really inviting and unfashionable. But the food was really the low point for me personally, I had a schnitzel with fries, which was neither technically nor visually convincing. Although a schnitzel - made really well - can be simply brilliant. Basically it was a breaded steak. A schnitzel should be pounded thin, fried in deep fat and have slight waves. It is obligatory to serve lemon and cranberries with the schnitzel, with fries, mayonnaise and ketchup, unfortunately none of that was the case here!!! Given the price, I expected something better in terms of appearance, quality and quantity. We also had a relatively long wait for food and drinks. My wife had spaghetti with scampi, which was just ok for her. We have eaten here many times and have always been satisfied. This will be my last visit, because the trend in the white alley is that price performance, quality and quantity are more important than maximum profit for certain owners of these restaurants.

So the food is amazing! Here you get something very good for your money. The staff is very friendly. Fast and friendly service at the table and it is actually always possible to get a seat. But it's always like this, it's better to experience it yourself. So get going. We were very happy with everything and would love to come back here. Keep it up. Thanks for everything.👍

I can only recommend these restaurants in the backyards of Dresden to everyone. Here we had delicious burgers that were really good and freshly made, as well as shandies that were also delicious. The only small flaw: the service seemed a bit distracted and sometimes it took longer to get things (one beer came immediately, the other only 10 minutes later, mayo with the fries only came after about 10 minutes)

The salad with goat cheese was very tasty, but whether a starter should cost €16 remains to be seen. For the main course I had pasta with tomato sauce and burata. Unfortunately, the pasta was no longer al dente and the sauce was bland/unseasoned. Again 16€. My companion had a chicken burger, which he really enjoyed (it was burger day, so “only” €16.50). The ragout fin was also delicious! Our service was very friendly!

Delicious food with relatively high prices. The service and ambience are definitely worth stopping by. I found the dishes themselves a bit expensive, but still very tasty. The sweet potato fries were nice and crispy. I found the pasta burrata a bit boring because the tomato sauce is very neutral. Anyway, thank you for the food. There was nothing wrong with the drinks.

The food was okay, I didn't like the Limoncello Sprizz at all, as if it had tonic in it, which had been there for ages. Service was friendly but sometimes inattentive. I won't be a guest there again.

Top restaurant in a great atmosphere! The restaurant is very centrally located and comfortably furnished. We were thrilled by the delicious selection of food...there really is something for everyone! Top quality and very tasty. The staff was also very committed and friendly. We can only recommend Förster's and would be happy to come back!

So we were in this restaurant, the outside was very inviting, the service when ordering was very quick. But after that there was hardly anyone to see and no reaction. Two of us had a chicken breast fillet with tomato mozzarella gratinated and a salad with an extra fly meat side dish that I didn't order. Which were mainly under the salad, on both plates by the way. The waiter's reaction must have occurred to you on the way to you...but since the flies were under the salad, or right in the middle of it, they couldn't have flown on it on the way. So for the price I expect something different. To make up for it, we got two pieces of bruschetta on the house. But there was old lipstick on my glass too, and I'm not wearing any. My reaction to it overall, once and never again. Portions aren't really enough to fill you up either. A pity......

It was a very pleasant evening. I think we had the Förster's to ourselves at this time of evening on Sunday. This also means the full attention of the waitress. The food was excellent. We would love to come back to enjoy more dishes.
