A charming, traditional inn, just like in the old days! Incredibly friendly landlady! Excellent food! Reasonable prices! Top-notch service! Would love to come back!

The ambiance is half-timbered, which is somewhat fitting for a Greek restaurant, but the waitresses were always attentive and checked on us. The food was truly delicious. The only slight drawback was that the bifteki had too much parsley for my taste; it was very overpowering. The souvlaki skewer was as tender as butter. The gyros was also excellent – ​​neither too dry nor too greasy. There wasn't enough tzatziki on the side. The Greek salad had too many tomatoes and not enough spicy cheese (which was very dry). There weren't any diced pieces of feta cheese mixed in, but rather what I considered a very small piece of dirt. A word to the kitchen: everything is rated very highly, and we're open to criticism. We'd rate it in the 85-90 range. Please charge €19.50 for our Santorini platter, and then you shouldn't skimp on the tzatziki. Our baked feta cheese came with three loaves of bread at no extra charge. Is tzatziki really that much more expensive than bread? The semi-sweet white wine tasted very good, very fruity but without lacking acidity. Feel free to check out my pictures.

Better than any hotel in the area. We had to change our plans at short notice because the hotel we had booked was very run-down. We got two great rooms. The food was excellent! The service was excellent! Thank you 🙏

Overdue Update 2025 A few years ago, the exterior was updated to reflect the quality of the interior! It's very nice, and the beer garden behind the building in summer perfectly complements the entire experience. We consider ourselves regulars! This charming restaurant offers truly delicious, high-quality food, lovingly prepared and served with genuine warmth and sincerity. After the amuse-bouche, the plates of exceptionally flavorful, generous, and varied appetizer salads promise a culinary (and visual) highlight in the main course. And indeed, the steaks are fantastic—superbly prepared, lavishly garnished, and enhanced with delicious homemade sauces. The side dishes are also a delight. Enjoy them with freshly tapped Augustiner beer served in a stoneware mug. All this at a very fair and reasonable price, and served with wonderful friendliness. As if that weren't enough, there's ample parking in the back. So, what's the catch? If there is one, it's the exterior appearance. This doesn't necessarily hint at the quality of the food. But what really matters in a restaurant – the quality of the food – is excellently offered by this family-run establishment.
