Gasthof Schwarzwälder Hof in Bad Dürrheim

Good home-style food at fair prices. Tastes really good. The staff friendly and attentive. You sit comfortably, even if the decoration seems a bit thrown together and perhaps doesn't quite suit a restaurant with the name Schwarzwälder Hof. But more important is the good food.

We were there twice on our vacation. Super courteous and friendly service on both days. The food is impeccable. Everything fresh and e.g. My steak was exactly how I wanted it.

We spontaneously went for dinner on Thursday without making a reservation. We got the last two tables. The inventory is already getting old. Restaurant with 80s flair. The counter is lined with lots of alcoholic bottles. Drinks and food were received promptly. Starter was greaves. A few slices of farmhouse bread would have been delicious, but it was actually delicious. The food was very plentiful and tasted good. Good old German cuisine. Diet Coke is available in 0.2 liter bottles. But OK. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We'd love to come back.

We ate very well here. From bread with lard to salad plates to cordon bleu and schnitzel á La Chef, everything was very plentiful and tasty. Nice service. Highly recommended.

We have been a restaurant with consistent quality at reasonable prices for many years when we have been in Bad Dürrheim.

I was in this restaurant today, Sun. 10/6/24 The waiter Marcel stopped me even though it was full. ( Thank you very much) There were very nice men as waitresses. The food (cheese spaetzle with side salad) was very good! Happy to recommend! But you should reserve! Otherwise you may not get any more space!

We were there at 9:00 p.m. The tables were not cleared and the guests were not served. Although the inn is open until 11 p.m., the kitchen closed at 9 p.m. Really a shame.

Only recommended!!! Food excellent (also for the eye). Service is good and unobtrusive. Ambiance is a bit old (toilets!), but clean Reservations strongly recommended

Very nice restaurant with excellent cuisine. Service team very friendly and competent! Very good value for money! Griebenschmalz as an entrée, very good salad variation as a side salad! Cordon bleu and baked schnitzel were not only very good but also a very decent portion. Huge portion of side fries that are very well made! Table reservation recommended!

We haven't eaten so well in a long time. Everything freshly prepared, even greetings from the kitchen. A friendly service employee. All in all very satisfied. We will be back!

We went there for dinner on the recommendation of friends. The restaurant has the charm of the 80s, but everything is clean - only the cushions on the benches are pretty much together. The menu is okay, the prices are also okay. We had cordon bleu, beef ragout, and Schwarzwaldhof plate. Beforehand there was an amuse gueule consisting of herbal quark and dark bread. The salads were tasty and quite large. Only one salad had several wilted lettuce leaves. The food was very good, the portion size was also okay. The open Augustiner beer in a chilled stein was pleasant! The staff was friendly and attentive. Points are deducted when eating, and an additional charge of €2 is required for reordering the side dishes. Why? Thank you for the lovely evening!

This place claims to be open until 11pm but the kitchen actually closes at 8:45! Very confusing

Roses withered on the table - they had better days. All the junk in the room doesn't make it any better. The counter was installed as a privacy screen with an extreme selection of alcohol to hide behind. Food... yes, you want to, but you don't get to the point and it comes across as modern despite the prices that are written (glutamate is also in the food or on the salad plate) Service - if I have something on the menu that is out, please tell me when I hand it over... before I have decided exactly what it is! And put on something contemporary. It wasn't anything... if you like that, you can go no more.

Incredibly good, absolutely recommended. Great service. Very high quality food. The meat is a dream and so are the vegetables

We are repeat offenders and enjoy visiting the Schwarzwälder Hof. The food is great. You can also sit well in the beer garden... We are always fascinated by the consistently excellent quality of all the dishes on offer. And this has been the case for so many years. And each dish is lovingly and beautifully decorated and served on preheated plates. The side salad with it is to die for. The side dishes are served on separate plates or small bowls. Every dish that includes this has a different, really good homemade sauce.

Full marks (stars) everywhere because the evening there was simply perfect.

Very well eaten and especially hot dishes on hot plates. Have repeatedly spontaneously come to dinner with 10 people. This wasn't a problem for the service - we were able to order drinks outside the inn. After 15 minutes the table was set for us. All the food came to the table hot and together. We were able to eat together and all the dishes were excellently prepared. Thank you for the lovely evening and the enjoyment of the food.

Nice beer garden behind the house (if there are enough staff to keep it open, which unfortunately isn't always the case) with parking. Very friendly staff. GREAT FOOD!!! Now for the negative: Beer in a stein costs 5.10 euros!!! In the local: Facilities not nice. Wooden tables like those in the Hofbräuhaus, only freshly varnished. Placemats could be from Tedi or KiK. Pepper is served in an original plastic mill with a Kania label from LIDL... 0.1 Prosecco for over 4 euros. Instead of fries or croquettes, prefer spaetzle or potatoes for an additional charge of 2 euros... CONCLUSION: The food and service is excellent, but money should be invested and modernized in the furnishings of the restaurant and especially the old toilets.

We had dinner here with a dear friend on Saturday evening. When it comes to the dishes and desserts, you can notice high-quality products and prepared with passion. The service is sensational, the food came to everyone at the table at the same time. The dog also got his bowl of water. The beer garden is quietly located behind the restaurant. We'd love to come back.

Fine, home-style restaurant with well-kept service. Pork medallions with rösti and cheese gratinated with a mixed salad for 22 euros were fine and tasty. The Pinot Noir was mouth-watering and full-bodied. I recommend the restaurant.

The food tasted very good. The steaks are cooked to perfection like in a steakhouse. The Augustiner beer is served in pre-chilled mugs. The service was friendly and accommodating. We look forward to our next visit!

Essen ist super lecker, bestes Rumpsteak was ich je gegessen habe. Personal sehr freundlich und die Küche war sehr schnell. Nach 45 Minuten hatten wir unseren Hauptgang bereits verspeist. (Davor gab es noch einen Gruß aus der Küche und einen Salat.) Danach gab es noch eine Eis-Variation, die auch wirklich sehr lecker war. Habe noch nirgends ein weißes Schokoladeneis gehabt. Auch das Himbeer-Fruchtsorbet schmeckt als würde man eine frische Himbeere essen. Alles in einem ein wirklich hervorragendes Restaurant.

Ich komme mit meiner Familie s. 25 J. in dieses Restaurant. Wir waren immer top zufrieden. Preis/Leistung ist stimmig. Der Service super. Gusti aus Rottweil

Abends kurzfristig eine Gaststätte gesucht und gefunden! Einen Platz am Feiertag bekommen ohne langes hin und her, Klasse Service, Dann das Essen, echt lecker, wir mussten nicht lange auf die Gerichte warten, dazu ein leckeres Bier. Preis-Leistung top!!! Wir, meine Frau und ich können dieses Gaststätte auf jeden Fall empfehlen..... Wenn wir wieder vor Ort sind, dann auf jeden Fall diese Gaststätte!

Das Essen ist in Ordnung und reichhaltig; das Ambiente allerdings nur Mittelmaß. Die Sanitäreinrichtungen könnten nach >40 Jahren mal erneuert werden - sind aber sauber.

Zum ersten Mal hier gegessen. Wir waren zu viert und alle waren durchweg begeistert! Sehr gutes Essen, große Portionen, freundliche und schnelle Bedienung. Rundum alles perfekt. Wir kommen wieder.

Wir waren schon häufiger hier zum Essen und sind immer sehr zufrieden. Daher sind wir gestern auch mit Freunden hierher zum Essen gegangen, da man sich auf eine gleichbleibende Top-Qualität verlassen kann. Unsere Freunde waren ebenfalls begeistert. Vom Griebenschmalz über den Beilagensalat bis zu den verschiedenen Hauptgerichten ist alles sehr lecker. Ganz besonders hervorzuheben sind die hausgemachten Soßen.

Soup and salad are very good, steak sauce is not good, very less , consist of speak water and green beans with pepper.

Wir fanden es dort sehr gemütlich und das Essen war wirklich sehr sehr lecker. Preis/Leistung war ebenfalls super. Wer gut bürgerlich Essen gehen möchte, wird hier definitiv zufriedengestellt. Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch und sind schon gespannt wie die anderen Gerichte schmecken.

Gute deutsche Küche, leckerer Rohkostsalat, und gute Speisen. Freundlicher Service.

Super restaurant. Nourriture très bonne et personnel très sympa. Prix correct. Je recommande fortement ce restaurant.

Nicht besonders viel Auswahl auf der Karte, aber das was wir hatten wahr sehr lecker.

Bedienung spitze, Fleisch exzellent und vor allem: heiße Teller. So sollte ein Restaurant aussehen. Nach mehreren Jahren muss ich anmerken, dass dieses Lokal das Niveau problemlos halten kann. Immer wieder zu empfehlen.

Hervorragende Küche, traumhaftes Bier im vorgekühlten Steinkrug. Sehr zu empfehlen ist der Schwäbische Rostbraten, Zander in Bierteig und das mit Käse überbackene Schnitzel. Aber eigentlich sind alle bisher genossenen Gerichte sehr lecker gewesen. Aufmerksamer Service. Unbedingt zu empfehlender Gasthof. Wegen des Biergartens ist Reservierung empfehlenswert.

Ganz tolles, leckeres Essen, super Qualität und freundliches, engagiertes Personal. Gerne jederzeit wieder!
