We ate at the Gasthaus Hirschen today and were absolutely thrilled. The food was honest, down-to-earth, and incredibly delicious – you can immediately tell that the ingredients are fresh. No frozen food, no preservatives – just honest, homemade cooking, just the way you want it. The owner was very friendly and welcoming, which further underscored the family atmosphere. The service was attentive and pleasantly unobtrusive. The value for money is also really excellent – ​​you get quality at fair prices here. We were completely satisfied and will definitely be back. Thank you for the great food and the lovely stay – see you next time!

A real hidden gem in the countryside! This small restaurant in a village was a very pleasant surprise. The portions are generous, the food absolutely delicious – we were particularly impressed by the fresh salad, the tender meat, the crispy fries, and the homemade spaetzle. The service was very friendly and attentive, which made the visit even more enjoyable. The prices are very fair. We were completely satisfied and will definitely be back!

There are restaurants where you receive very friendly service, delicious food, and reasonable prices. Even these days, it was pleasantly warm in the dining room. This won't be the last time we're here. Reservations are recommended for Sunday lunch.

Were there again today, The beef tongue was a poem for my palate. The rest is just delicious. Very, very courteous service and our dog 🐶 was also welcome. Highly recommended, we will be back, guaranteed

Traditional food with light and shadow Our annual visit on Christmas Day takes us to the Gasthaus zum Hirschen, and this year we weren't disappointed either. I would particularly like to highlight the deer pepper, which was excellently prepared - a real treat! The side dishes such as fries and croquettes also deserve high praise: I have rarely eaten such crispy and perfectly prepared fries, and the croquettes are definitely something special. One point that has room for improvement, however, is the vegetables. Unfortunately, freshly prepared vegetables are in short supply. For me, “fresh” means that the ingredients are delivered raw and then processed. Unfortunately, many vegetable side dishes (like the carrots) came from cans or frozen. The consistency and taste were therefore not convincing. That's a shame, because preparing fresh carrots wouldn't be a big challenge and would significantly improve the quality of the food. In summary: A nice tradition with delicious food, but it would be great if the vegetables could be improved a bit - that would make the experience perfect.

A great inn with very tasty food, we were there for Sunday lunch with a small group, everyone enjoyed it and it was plentiful, that's how it should be, we'll be happy to come back.

The food is delicious, freshly made. Renate is always very friendly and entertaining. The toilets are always clean Perfect!!! You always get large plates of fries, spaetzle, etc. It is really recommended.

We have enjoyed going to the Hirschen in Baldingen for many years. The landlady Renate is simply a warm person. You always feel welcome. The food is particularly good on Sunday lunchtime. The noodle soup and homemade croquettes are just so delicious. I've probably eaten every dish on the menu and it's all worth recommending. The kitchen is always ready for second helpings, although the food is always very sufficient. The menu is manageable but there is something for everyone. It's also not a problem for my husband with his gluten intolerance. All sauces are gluten free. The starter salad is always really fresh with well-dressed salads.

I'm on vacation every year and it's a must to eat there, it's just great. The first time I felt comfortable straight away. You're just a big family.

Were invited to a family celebration - the food was very tasty and so plentiful that everyone was full - very friendly staff and a nice boss - we'll definitely go there on our own sometimes - highly recommended.

Ich war ganz überrascht in so einem kleinen Ort, , so ein spitzen Restaurant zu finden. Das Personal ist aufmerksam und super freundlich. Die rustikale Art der Chefin ist absolut passent zur Umgebung. Das Essen war sehr gut und reichlich, Beilagen wurden immer wieder frisch serviert. Wir waren 12 Personen und jeder lobte das Essen. Gutbürgerliche, sehr leckere und reichhaltige Küche in einem Gasthaus mit engagierter, gastfreundlicher Wirtin und freundlichem Personal..... Hier stimmt Preis/Leistung und der Service. Wir waren zum ersten Mal da, aber sicher nicht zum letzten Mal. Unbedingte Weiterempfehlung!

Super leckere deutsche Küche. Sonntags gibt es zu jedem Gericht eine Suppe, Salat sowie Gemüse und Beilagen auf Platten auf den Tisch. Die Wirtin persönlich hat Kontakt zu allen Gästen und hat das Gasthaus voll im Griff. Weiter so kommen gerne wieder ☺️

Das Essen war nicht lecker, mein Putensteak war sehr trocken und nicht schön angerichtet. Der Salat war zu sauer. Es war sehr kalt in der Gastwirtschaft und gemütlich ist es dort auch nicht.

Preis Leistung stimmt. Kleine Speisekarte, super Preise. Saubere Toiletten. Im Inneren eher laut. Parkplätze direkt vor dem Haus.

Wirtin immer super freundlich, gemütliches Lokal, gut bürgerliches Essen und preiswert. Die Bratwürste macht der Wirt noch selber, einfach lecker.
